Episode 7
Marcel came home without his younger brother, Derrick decided to go home because of the excessively call from his mother, she asked him to come back at once…. Marcel opened his door and allowed the people who brou-ght his properties to go inside, immediately they set to work, Clarissa couldn’t believe what her eyes were seeing, someone she just looked down on few minute ago, is the same person who is standing before her with so many property.
She came out from her room, she was tired of viewing from the window, she walked up to Marcel where he stood
CLARISSA
Where is your brother?
MARCEL
Hey, I thought you went out
CLARISSA
I have been inside relaxing….where is your brother?
MARCEL
Oh, derrick has gone home
CLARISSA
Derrick? That is his name?
MARCEL
(He smiled)
Yes….so what’s up?
CLARISSA
Huh? Oh nothing, I’m just surprise seeing all this stuff
MARCEL
Surprise? Like you weren’t expecting me to buy things for my room?
CLARISSA
Not like that….its fine, sorry for asking I will be in my room.
MARCEL
Alright… I will talk to you later
Clarissa nod and walked away, immediately she entered her room she went to chat Kimberly who replied her immediately
CLARISSA
My sister if I start to tell you what my big big eyes have seen you won’t believe it.
KIMBERLY
(She sent smiling smiley)
What has your eyes seen?
CLARISSA
Is Marcel ooh
KIMBERLY
Wait, Marcel again?
CLARISSA
I was in my room when a very big truck drove into the compound
KIMBERLY
To do what?
CLARISSA
They brou-ght his properties
KIMBERLY
I don’t un-derstand, I thought you said he didn’t come with any thing?
CLARISSA
I know what I said okay? I was as shocked as ever.
KIMBERLY
I told you that young man smells wealth, and if you ask me he is a cool guy
CLARISSA
(Scoff)
How can you tell? You met him just once
KIMBERLY
Haven’t you heard of that saying that “first is a charm”?
CLARISSA
Yeah, yeah whatever
KIMBERLY
Stop acting like a moving witch, just let the young man do his thing okay?
CLARISSA
What have I done now?
KIMBERLY
This days we don’t even talk about anything again, all we talk about is Marcel this, Marcel that….
CLARISSA
Really? I haven’t been noticing
KIMBERLY
Well I just brou-ght it to your notice….I’m coming back tomorrow
CLARISSA
Tomorrow? How come? You told me you won’t come till weekend
KIMBERLY
Yeah I know what I said, I just change my mind, I miss you
CLARISSA
Awwwn I miss you too…what should I cool for you?
KIMBERLY
I want corn flavor and beans soup
CLARISSA
(She giggles)
Like seriously?
KIMBERLY
You heard me sis, that’s what I want
CLARISSA
Alright I will cook it for you…..what time will you be coming?
KIMBERLY
Since I’m taking a flight before 3pm I should be around.
CLARISSA
Okay, see you when you come back.
They talked about other things before Kimberly told Clarissa she would call her later that she was busy with something.
The next morning Marcel woke up with a knock on his door, he came down from his bed and went to open his door, he was surprise to see Clarissa standing in front of his door.
MARCEL
Rissa?
CLARISSA
Good morning
MARCEL
Morning, hope all is well? Sorry would you like to come inside?
CLARISSA
(She scoff)
I’m okay here, I just came to deliver this
She said giving him a sheet of paper.
MARCEL
What is this?
CLARISSA
I’m sure you can read very well, so go throu-ghit
Marcel held the book up straight and started to read it
MARCEL
Okay I have seen your rules and regulations can I go inside now?
CLARISSA
(She opened her mouth shocked)
Just that?
MARCEL
You stated here that I shouldn’t come back late, I shouldn’t bring more than to person into this compound, I shouldn’t play music too loudly, I should make myself available every Saturday for sanitation? Isn’t that all or you have more rules?
CLARISSA
If I think of something else I will inform you
MARCEL
Okay ma….can I go now?
CLARISSA
Yeah
Marcel was about going back inside but she stopped him again
CLARISSA
Don’t ever ask me to come into your house, I don’t know what you are trying to prove.
She said and walked away
Marcel was more than shock, he just couldn’t believe why a Lady as beautiful as this would he full with trouble.
He opened his door and went back inside….since Clarissa has decided to kill sleep from his eyes, he decided to break one rule from the list Clarissa just gave him, he turn on his sound system and started playing music, the music was so loud that even people from the next street could hear it…Clarissa was shocked, she wasn’t expecting him to break the rule so quickly, she wanted to go back there but she kicked against it “going back there will make him think something else” she said and ignored the loud music.
Marcel started to feel hungry, he decided to go out to get some things in the house, he doesn’t know how to cook but he would join some cooking clas-ses online so he would help himself..
He took his bath and left the house, around that same time Clarissa was also going out, she wanted to quickly drop at the market to buy some food stuffs.
MARCEL
Sorry miss, where is their market here, I want to get some stuff
(He said politely)
CLARISSA
(She looked at him)
I do, luckily I’m going to the market too, if you don’t mind you can join me in my car
She said opening her car door, Marcel thanked her and entered.
They arrived at the market, since it was the first time for Marcel he didn’t know what to buy, he just tagged along with Clarissa, whatever she bought he would buy too, what she picked he will pick too, Clarissa wanted to ask him if he knew what he was doing but she kept her cool….
He decided to buy snacks, juice, wine, and other things since Clarissa stopped buying and he didn’t know what else to buy.
After they were done buying Clarissa drove them back home.

in the evening Kimberly retuned back from her trip, Clarissa was so happy to see her, she was just hu-gging and hu-gging her like she was going to swallow Kim
KIMBERLY
With the level that you are hu-gging me, one will think I was away for years
CLARISSA
(She pulled away)
You have no idea how much I miss all your witchy character.
KIMBERLY
Oh yeah? So I have witchy character?
CLARISSA
Something like that, so tell me what did you get me?
KIMBERLY
I didn’t bring anything, talking about getting you something you haven’t given me my cut ooh
CLARISSA
What cut?
KIMBERLY
(She eyed her)
The money for the painting and decoration
CLARISSA
Oh that, but I did the job alone?
KIMBERLY
But you didn’t want to accept the job before
CLARISSA
Okay fine, you win….send me your details I will transfer 50 thousand into your account.
KIMBERLY
That’s my big sis….I’m so hungry where is my food?
CLARISSA
I will be right back, I ain’t done yet with the cooking
KIMBERLY
Since morning? What have you been doing na?
CLARISSA
My neighbor nee-ded to get things from the market, he tagged along with me, unfortunately it turn out that bros didn’t know what to buy, I had to help him….I came back home very tired so I had to sleep.
KIMBERLY
Talking about Marcel, is he around?
CLARISSA
I’m sure he is around, he hasn’t gone out since we came back.
KIMBERLY
I will be right back
She said and ran out before her sister could ask her where she was going to.
Kimberly knocked slightly on Marcel’s door but was surprise when someone who look exactly like Marcel opened the door.
DERRICK
Hi….
KIMBERLY
Good….afternoon… Sorry I mean good evening
(She greeted confusedly)
DERRICK
Evening, how may I be of help to you?
KIMBERLY
Sorry, I’m here to see Marcel is he in?
DERRICK
Yes, he is around….and you are?
KIMBERLY
Tell him Kim is here to see him?
Marcel was inside his living room seeing a movie with his younger brother who decided to give him another surprising visit today again, he wanted to go check who was at the door when Derrick said he would… He jumped up and went to the door when he heard the person introduce herself as “Kim”
MARCEL
Kimberly?
He said piping his eyes from the doorway
KIMBERLY
Hey, good evening
MARCEL
(He pulled her into a surprising hu-g)
Kim, how are you?
KIMBERLY
(Surprise)
I’m fine, and you?
MARCEL
I’m very well
MARCEL
Please come inside
Derrick left the both of them at the door and went inside, Kimberly accepted and followed Marcel inside
KIMBERLY
Wow, nice place you have got
MARCEL
Thank you, please have a seat
He said pointing to a chair, she gladly took it, all those time her eyes didn’t stop looking at derrick.
KIMBERLY
This must be your brother?
MARCEL
I’m so sorry, please pardon my manners, meet my younger brother Derrick, Derrick meet Kimberly, my landlady’s cousin
DERRICK
(He shook her hands)
Nice to meet you Kim
KIMBERLY
Nice to meet you too Rick
MARCEL
So what can I offer you?
KIMBERLY
(She smiled)
I’m not a guest, I’m just a next door neighbor.
MARCEL
It doesn’t matter, what do you want?
KIMBERLY
I’m fine, thanks
MARCEL
So when did you return from your trip?
KIMBERLY
I came back not too long ago…
MARCEL
Wow, so what did you bring for me?
KIMBERLY
(She giggles)
I didn’t bring anything, but not to worry when next I travel I will bring lots of goodies
MARCEL
I will hold you to your word
KIMBERLY
Please do
They talked for a while before Kimberly announced that she wanted to go, Derrick and Marcel were already enjoying her company that they didn’t even want her to leave.
KIMBERLY
I will still go back home tonight, I have been away from my house for days, I nee-d to go home and tidy up my house.
They heard knock on the door, Marcel knew that would be Clarissa
MARCEL
I will get the door
He said and went to open the door quickly, once in a while Derrick would steal glance at Kimberly too, he has seem many beautiful ladies, but he has never seen anyone as beautiful as the lady seating before him…..Marcel opened the door, he smiled when his guess was right, it was Clarissa that knocked.
MARCEL
Hey
CLARISSA
Is my sister here?
MARCEL
Yes, she’s inside
CLARISSA
I will like to know if you have kidnapped her
MARCEL
What? She walked here herself
CLARISSA
And if has been hours, I nee-d her to come back
MARCEL
Yes ma
He said and went back inside, he told Kimberly Clarissa was at the door, immediately Kim got up and walked outside.
KIMBERLY
It was nice seeing you again Marcel
MARCEL
Same here, welcome back once again
KIMBERLY
(She smiled at him sweetly)
Thanks
Clarissa pulled her sister away, immediately they entered their room she started to scold her
CLARISSA
How can you leave me here for hours to go stay with my enemy?
KIMBERLY
“Hours”? Its ba-rely 30 minutes I left here Rissa… Beside why do you see him as an enemy?
CLARISSA
That’s how I see him, his mere presence irritate me
KIMBERLY
Common that’s harsh, that dude is a perfect gently man, and his very kind
CLARISSA
Enough…can we eat?
KIMBERLY
I met his younger brother, damn the dude is hot
CLARISSA
I told you didn’t I? He is very hot unlike his brother
KIMBERLY
Marcel is super hot sis, its you’d hate that is blinding you… That remind me, let’s give them some food
CLARISSA
(Shocked)
Give them food? As their cook or what?
KIMBERLY
Because they are guys and obviously who doesn’t know how to cook, let’s just give them food
CLARISSA
How is that my business?
KIMBERLY
What happened to you? I mean where is my sister? The one who is sweet and very caring, who cared more for others than herself…. Where is she?
CLARISSA
Maybe she died, maybe she doesn’t even want to be found any more…Kim I miss you and I want us to spend good time together before you leave…so can we just eat and stop talking about this guys?
KIMBERLY
Its because of Jude right?
CLARISSA
(Her mood changed immediately)
Can we just stop talking about this please?
She yelled at Kimberly lifted up her hands in defeat
She got up and went to her sister’s kitchen, she dish some food into a two different breakable plate, she poured enough soup in another big bowl and place them on a tray, she covered it and brou-ght it to the living room
CLARISSA
You ain’t taking my food to those people
KIMBERLY
Try and stop me, and if you dare come after me, trust me you will never see nor hear from me again I swear
She said and looked at her sister sternly, Clarissa knew Kim wasn’t joking, she just washed her hands and started eating her food, Kim opened the living room door and went to Marcel’s door, she knocked slightly on the door and Marcel answered it
MARCEL
Kim?
KIMBERLY
We over cooked, so I was wondering if you could help us finish the food so it wouldn’t waste
MARCEL
I’m surprise, I don’t know what to say
KIMBERLY
Is your brother still around?
MARCEL
Yes, he is inside
KIMBERLY
I won’t be able to come inside again, just say me hi to him….and make sure you both finish the food
She said and handed Marcel the food, before Marcel could even say any other thing, she was out of sight.
Marcel took the food inside, his younger brother was surprise.
DERRICK
What is this?
MARCEL
Kim brou-ght food
DERRICK
Where is she?
MARCEL
She has gone
DERRICK
Oh okay…let’s see what she brou-ght
He collected the tray from his brother and dropped on the table, he opened the plates and was wowed with what he saw, just that they weren’t use to eating swallow.
DERRICK
This smells nice
MARCEL
It looks tempting too
DERRICK
Dig in bro
MARCEL
Gross…I don’t know bro
DERRICK
I’m gonna try this, I don’t want that beauty to get angry
Marcel looked at his brother strangely, he didn’t want to believe what his mind was telling him.
