Principal Cory is walked all the way in the front of them with that usual strict look on his face
“My students, I have a great news to tell you guys” he began
“What does he have to say now” Tessa muttered silently, only to her hearing
“Bright high has decided to try something it has never tried before which is an excursion” he said and students began murmuring
“What’s he talking about, we have tried excursion countless of times” Brittany hissed and rested her head on Robert’s shoulder
“I know what you guys are thinking of, that we have tried excursion a lot of times..
“Yes now get to the point” Tessa cuts in
Principal Cory glared at her and cleared his throat
“Well if you had let me finished then I would have added we’ll be going to California in a big house for a month not only that we would meet new people from a different country” he said
“Principal Cory if I may ask, what’s the name of the country?” Linc asked
“Nigeria”
“Woah” Emma muttered
“I’ve heard of that country and I heard the people there are cool” Maddie muttered
“That’s not what I heard” Tessa scoffed and folded her arm
“So how much are you gonna charge us, a hundred million??” She asked sarcastically
“Well instead of charging, the school authority has come to an agreement that you will all write an exam, if you pas-syou’re welcome but if you fail. It’s home” principal Cory replied
Emma face brightened up instantly, she smiled and looked at Tessa
“Tessa it’s sure we are gonna go” Emma smiled
Robert just yawned and rolled his eyes. Carl would help him anyways so he’s not bothered
Linc doesn’t have any problem cause he’s a book warm on his own. Brittany also don’t have any problem cause Carl would also help her
“The exam would air in three days time so read and get prepared. That’ll be all” princpal Cory announced and left
Brittany looked at Emma and scoffed, she looked at Robert and cought him looking at Emma
“Babe!” She called and hit him
“Sorry” he muttered

NEXT DAY•
RISING HIGH***
“Good morning, ehm please can I have a bottle of coke and that large cream crackers?” Presh said to miss Bisola, the woman in charge of the snacks shop
“It’s 250” she replied, packing the snacks and giving him
“I know na, why are you talking as if I don’t know money” Presh scoffed and brou-ght out his wallet then removed N500 and gave her then collected his snacks
“What’s your name I don’t have N50 niara change oo” she said, giving him N200
“Ehn, keep it na” Presh sighed and left. He looked left and right before entering the cla-ssroom that contains few students
He sat the back and began eating really fast so Chi won’t come and join him

“Girl na you dey make my temperature dey rise”
“If you leave me I go die I swear..
Presh can hear Chi faint voice from afar, he took his Coke and hide it under his desk he’s about hiding his biscuits but Chi already entered
“Guy guy guy, oya bring that thing here” Chi said with a smile
“See guy I’ve not eating this morning abeg…
Presh is talking but Chi went closer to him and took the biscuit
“Guy na afar, stop na” Presh frowned
“we-tin happen, na because of hundred niara biscuit?, As if say you no go beg if I buy my own” Chi scoffed and took five pieces
“God will punish you, abeg give me my thing” Presh frowned and dragged his biscuits

Chi is talking when Angel ring the bell
“a-ssembly time” she shouted
“Ooooohoo, principal go con dey talk dey talk” Chi hissed while Presh eyed him and stood up
They both left the cla-ssroom with some other students

The a-ssembly is going on in the school hall. Gloria is leading praise and worship, Chi and some boys are playing the instrument, Romeo is making sure the lines are well arranged. Tasha is fishing out dirty students while Angel and Presh are punishing late comers
Olive kept standing outside with her bag pack, she knew she’s late already and she’s not ready for Mr Olumide cane, it’s too painful
Making up her mind she entered, Angel is the first person to see her so she rushed to her
“Olly I thought you weren’t coming today” Angel said
“I had to take my mom to the hospital, I can’t believe I’m late” Olive replied
“Ehn you can still go to your line since you have a good excuse” Presh said, Olive looked at him and said nothing
“What’s happening here?” Tasha asked coming to them
“Olive you’re late, kneel down” Tasha smirked
“She don’t have to, it’s not her fault” Presh said, Tasha eyed him and cross her arms around her chest
“You call Mr Olumide” she ordered a junior students. The junior students rushed out few mins later Mr Olumide came out with a long cane in his hands
“Who’s late?” He asked and Tasha pointed Olive while Olive gulped
“Olive you’re late, why na?” Mr Olumide asked
“I had to take..
“Hey shut up, shut up abeg. Sir don’t mind her oo I saw her and angel planning to lie” Tasha cuts Olive off
“I’m not lying what’s wrong with you sef are you mad!” Olive said angrily
“Offense number one coming late, offense number two using fowl language. Mr Olumide are you just looking??” Tasha asked
“Olive bring your hand” Mr Olumide said
“But sir..
“Bring your hand Olive, if I can beat others then I can beat you” Mr Olumide cuts her off
“It’s not fair oo” Angel pouted and Tasha eyed her
Olive stretched her hands and closed her eyes but Presh came to her view
“Sir let me take the cane for her” he said
“Is she your wife?” Mr Olumide chuckled
“Yes na” Presh replied and Tasha scoffed
Mr Olumide gave Presh five strokes..
“Yeish!, It’s painful oo. Olive you’ll repay me” Presh winced
“Did I sent you message?” Olive scoffed and went inside the hall
Angel laughed and hit Presh shoulder while Tasha scoffed and walked away

For them it’s closing time, the teacher is at the front of the clas-stalking
“Emma do us the favor and share the script” miss Raven said
Emma smiled and collected the homework script then began sharing around, she got to Robert but instead of collecting his own, he held Emma’s hand
“Let go” Emma said
“We need to talk, come with me” he said and began dragging her out of the cla-ss
Tasha is busy searching her bag packs to notice this
…
“Let go” Emma tried struggling but Robert grip is too tight
Emma hits his hand but he refused to leave her till he got to the empty music cla-ss
“What do you want?” Emma asked. Instead Robert pinned her to the door with her both hands above her head
“Earlier when you saw Brittany and I together well I want you to know that you’ll enjoy more than that when you’re mine” he said
“Leave me alone, I don’t wanna be with you” Emma muttered, even almost crying
Robert got lost, staring at Emma’s pretty face so he began leaning close to ki-ss her
“What do you want” Emma muttered and turned her head sideways but Robert removed one of his hand from hers then used one hand to hold her both hands and other hand to make her face him with force
“Leave me” Emma struggled but Robert ignored and tried to ki-ss her with force but then Tessa kicked the door from outside
The force she used to kick it made both Robert and Emma fell. Tessa moved close to Robert and began matching him
“How dare you, you bastard!” She yelled and stepped on him even more, his stomach, his di-ck , his face, his arm.
She matched him not caring about how he was bleeding, Robert looked side ways and gasped for air
“Tessa” Emma rushed to Tessa but Tessa pushed her back in anger
Tessa matched Robert till he pa-ssed out
“Tessa” Emma screamed and that’s when Tessa came back to earth
The door opened, Linc and Brittany rushed in and carried Robert
“What have you done!” Linc yelled at Tessa
“I..” Tessa gulped and shook her head
Suddenly the school speaker turned on and the principal voice appeared
