They began coming down the van one after the other. Presh got down and stretched his hands to Olive, helping her get down too. She smiled looking at the karaoke bar.
Presh was busy looking at her. She was wearing an off shoulder black gown that ended above her knees. She looked really beautiful and cute.
“I and Melissa will wait for you guys here in the van. We’ll leave by 9 on the dot.” Johnson said.
They nodded and went in the karaoke bar. They could see some people singing while some were happily cheering for them.
“Let’s go and sit there!” Emma said leading the way to a long couch with a table in front of it. They could easily have a better view from the couch.
They all settled down the couch and ordered different drinks. Soon the drinks were placed on the table.
“Tessa why don’t you go first?!” Angel said.
“Nah, things like this don’t interest me” Tessa replied.
“C’mon Tessa! Just one little song? Please??” Emma pouted, making cute faces.
“Oh Emma…I don’t compose songs” Tessa sighed.
“Okay, we’ll play a music and you’ll sing it” Emma smiled.
Tessa looked at them then closed her eyes and sighed before standing up. She walked up stage and took the mic.
“Play helpless by Tatiana Manois” Lisa said on the mic. The DJ raised his thumb up and then played the beating of the music..
????It’s not that easy with you here

Tessa sang with her eyes closed…
Emma, Romeo, Linc and the rest stared at her in complete shock and amazement.
Robert who was sipping from his chilled beer slowly dropped it on the table with eyes wide open. He just couldn’t believe his ears.
Her voice was just so so angelic and melodious a complete opposite of who she is…

She looked at Robert when she sang that part. That made Robert’s heart skip a beat like he was talking to him…
That made begin imagining funny things which he shook it off immediately…
She sang the song till the end and then placed the mic before going down. Those listening to her clapped for her including her friends…
“Ugly face with ugly voice” Robert muttered and took a sip from his drink.
Tessa sat down on her seat then covered her face with the hoodie she was wearing.
“Gosh, Tessa I never knew you can sing so well” Romeo smiled.
“Pfft…what’s so special about her voice. I can do way more better.” Brittany scoffed and rolled her eyes.
“I’m next” Presh stood up and went to collect the mic.
“No no no” Olive whispered but he paid deaf ears and went then collected the mic.
A guitar began playing slowly…

Presh slowly walked down the stage coming towards them. Olive just couldn’t get her eyes off him.
“Make I shift small” Angel said and shifted away from Olive.
Presh stood infront of her still singing. He stretched his hand to her which she looked around embarra-ssed with all the stares before taking his hand. She stood up. The others clapped their hands in harmony encouraging Presh on his song.
????No matter what the people say, I’m gonna love you anyway.
????Even if we fuss or fight,
????I’ll always say sorry just to make it right.

Presh pulled her closer to him then hug-ged her and ki-ssed her hair with the beat still playing.

????Just ki-ss me, and forget all about all your worries. ki-ss me, Your red li-ps, will take me to paradise.
He cupped her cheek with his free hand and stare de-ep into his eyes. Tears were already in Olive’s eyes.

He ended the song. The people began clapping for him.
“Olive…Babe, I truly love you and even if you reject me over and over I’ll still love you very much. Just give me a chance to treat you like the Queen that you truly are. Olive, I love you” He said on the mic.
Olive just stared at him, she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. Only tears were flowing from her eyes, tears of joy.
She opened her mouth to speak but closed it back again when nothing couldn’t come out.
“Presh I…”
She cupped his cheek then stood on her toes then softly pressed her li-ps on his. Presh felt like a electric wave ran throu-ghhis body.
He let the mic fall down then held her wa-istwith both hands, ki-ssing her back.
“Way to go bro!!” Linc screamed clapping loudly with the others.
“My own proposal will be more romantic than theirs” Romeo whispered to Emma.
She looked at him then chuckled, thinking that it was a joke. She looked front and continued clapping smiling to herself.
Olive broke the ki-ss then buried her face in Presh’s chest, too embarra-ssed to look at the people staring at them.
Presh smiled and ki-ssed her hair fondly, too happy.
“Is that a yes?” He whispered to her for confirmation.
Olive looked up at him then frowned.
“Of course mumu. Will I ki-ss you if I didn’t love you?” She pouted.
Presh chuckled and hug-ged her more tightly. They broke the hug and went back to their seat.
“Congrats bro”
“Congrats dude”
“Way to go handsome. She’s so lucky”
Presh kept saying ‘thank you’ as he walked with olive behind to their seat.
“My man!! You go teach me romanticism oo” Chi said, hitting Presh’s shoulder playfully.
“Congrats bro” Linc said.
“Congratulations to you two” Tessa said.
They sat down and continued with their drinks till it was 9. They all walked out of the karaoke bar.
They all boarded the van. Johnson ignited the engine and drove off heading back home.
“Today is sure a tiring day” Emma yawned coming down the van heading in the house.
“Babe, we’ll meet inside. Have to put this drunk föol to sleep” Presh said to Olive, carrying Chi who got drunk at the karaoke bar luckily the two elders didn’t notice him.
Angel and Carl discussed till they walked in. Robert walked in grumpily while Tessa smirked having an idea on how to get back at him.
Olive got down the van and went in closing the door behind her.
Dinner was prepared by Olive and Emma. The whole group ate dinner while chatting happily except Brittany and Tasha who were busy rolling their eyes at any silly comments Robert too was silent eating and pressing his phone while Tessa was busy eating slowly minding her own business.
“I’m really tired! Good night everyone” Emma yawns and went upstairs, Angel followed behind.
Carl went his way too. Robert stood up and went outside, deciding to take some fresh air before he goes to bed.
Linc and Romeo went upstairs with none of them talking to the others. Tessa went and switched on the TV, watching a movie.
Tasha and Brittany already went to bed. Well Tasha didn’t actually sleep because she was crying silently. She just lost Presh to her greatest rival.
“I’ll get back at you Olive” She thought, crying silently.
Brittany heard her muffled cries and woke up, she turned to face Tasha who had her back turn on her.
“Friend? What’s wrong?” Brittany frowned.
“Nothing, now mind your f*cking business” Tasha snapped.
Brittany rolled her eyes and turned her Back at Tasha. What’s wrong in being thoughtful??
“Goodnight babe” Presh and ki-ssed Olive for the uptenth time. That’s what they’ve been doing since they got back home.
He made to ki-ss her again but she blocked her li-ps.
“No…go and sleep nau-ghty guy” Olive said and rushed in her room then closed the door behind.
Presh smirked.
“Tomorrow I’ll shatter your li-ps don’t worry” He said and went to his room.
Olive who was leaning on the door smiled and touched her chest. She chuckled to herself and went to change her clothes.

Robert was standing by the stairs leading outside. He looked up at the stars…
Right now he was thinking and reflecting. What’s the point of doing all what he was doing? Especially to Tessa, what did she do that made him hate her in the first place??
His thought went back to the karaoke bar. Her voice, her eyes…
His mind leaped again to when he stole her first ki-ss. His hands touched his li-ps, trying to remember the feels of his li-ps on hers but he couldn’t.
The cold air blew on him and he shivered. He has a low tolerance to cold so he decided to go back in when suddenly…
Clic-k clack**
He heard the door lock. He turned back to see Tessa standing by the door smirking at him.
Robert frowned and began hitting the door.
“Open this door!!” He yelled.
Tessa shook her head with an annoying smirk on her li-ps.
“Payback time! Have fun sleeping outside” Tessa smiled.
Robert glared at her angrily.
“Don’t worry. There aren’t any mosquitoes at this period….well I hope so” Tessa blew a ki-ss at him then went back in.
Robert hit on the door but no one could hear him except Tessa. He was already shivering due to the cold.
“Tessa….” He growled angrily with shaky teeth.
Robert slowly sat down on the floor then curled himself up, shivering…
