Maxim took a sip of his whiskey, savoring the smoky flavor. He sat back in his chair, the leather creaking beneath him. He looked around the room, taking in the expensive furnishings. It was a far cry from his humble beginnings,He heard the door open, and he looked up.
“Wow guess who’s here”A female voice could be heard
“I have an assignment for you”Maxim said
“What! You want me to act as a wife to someone again”the lady said
“I’ll be paying you 100 million dollars”Maxim said
The lady smacked her lips and sat down
“Well you know I love million dollar”She said
“What work do you have for me this time”The lady said
Maxim whispered to her ear and she laughed loudly
“Are you serious,that’s a very easy task”She smirked
“Consider it done”She added
“That’s why I love you”Maxim grinned happily
“Wow look at you gloomy,you already forgot about me”She said
“Well you’ll always be mine”Maxim smirked and kiss her

{MARCELLUS PALACE ~CATERINA’S SUITE}
Caterina closed her eyes as Vikky’s gentle hands brushed her hair. The soft bristles of the brush felt like a soothing massage against her scalp. She could feel herself relax, the tension of the day melting away.
She breathed in the scent of the lavender-scented oils that Vikky had added to the brush, and she felt a sense of peace wash over her.
“Your hair is so silky your highness”Vikky smiled
Caterina smiled at Vikky’s words.
“Thank you, Vikky,” she said, her voice warm.
“I’m lucky to have you .” Vikky’s cheeks turned pink, and she ducked her head, embarrassed by the praise.
“It’s my pleasure to serve you, your highness,” she said, her voice humble.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity.” Caterina’s heart swelled with gratitude.
“The new maids are in the palace already,heard they are examining them”Vikky said
“I just wish,you can stay as my personal maids already,I think I’ll have to ask the queen”Caterina said
“That would be wonderful,” Vikky said, her eyes sparkling with hope.
“I would love to stay by your side, Caterina.” Caterina smiled, her heart full of affection for her friend.
“I’ll speak to the queen as soon as I can,” she promised.
“I’m sure she’ll understand how much you mean to me.” Vikky’s eyes grew misty, and she blinked back tears.
“You’re the best I could have asked for, Your highness,” she said, her voice choked with emotion.
“Stop that Vikky,we can be best friend too and I’m sure Rosalie will love you too”Vikky eyes widened
“Thank you your highness” Vikky smiled
“You can call me caterina anytime we are alone”Caterina giggled
“I promise I won’t misused this opportunity”Vikky smiled
Tedros entered and bowed his dark hair was tousled, and his eyes were bright as he looked at Caterina.
“Forgive me for intruding,” he said
“I didn’t mean to interrupt.” Caterina nodded, and she smiled at Tedros.
“It’s no intrusion, Tedros,” she said, her tone warm.
“The king called for you”He said and caterina smiled immediately
“Oh please lead the way”Caterina said and stood up
Tedros bowed, and motioned for Caterina to follow him. She did so, her heart beating a little faster as they made their way down the hall.
They walked in silence, and Caterina tried to remain calm, even though her mind was racing with possibilities. Tedros stopped outside the king’s chambers, and he knocked softly on the door. After a moment, the door opened, and a servant motioned for Caterina to enter.
King Romano was sipping juice as Caterina entered
Caterina curtsied to the king, and he nodded in acknowledgment.
“Please, sit down, Mi lady,” he said, gesturing to a chair next to him.
Caterina sat, and the king poured her a glass of juice, just as he had for himself.
“How are you today?” he asked, his tone warm and welcoming. Caterina smiled, feeling more at ease now that she was with the king.
“I’m doing well, your majesty,” she said, her voice soft and polite.
“I heard the new maids are in the palace already”Caterina said
King Romano nodded, a pleased look on his face.
“Yes, the new maids arrived just yesterday,” he said, his tone proud.
“I’ve been told they’re a fine bunch of young ladies .” Caterina’s curiosity was piqued once again.
“But I’ll love to keep Vikky”Caterina said sadly
“Who’s Vikky?”The king raised a brow
“The maid the queen assigned to help till I have my own maids”Caterina said
“If that’s what you want she can stay as your personal maid,it’s cool though she can always supervise the new ones”King Romano said
“Thank you your majesty”Caterina smiled

(Maxim’s Apartment)
A man could be seen sitting with Maxim as they sip wine
“So are you saying the lady you got for the job is reliable”The man said
“You should know I don’t deal with immature girls,I’m sure she’ll be able to do the job perfectly,the wedding is in two days time so her work starts today”Maxim smirked
“I just hope we can get the crown already,can’t believe I’m bowing to a boy enough to be my son’s age”He said and turned his face
Revealing him to be one of the kings wise men
“Just continue doing that till we finish him”Maxim smirked
“I’ll try something to your account,go enjoy your self with it”He said
Lord Elliot’s eyes lit up, and he smiled broadly.
“You’re too kind,” he said, his voice grateful.
“I’ll enjoy it very much.” Maxim nodded, then walk away

(WINTER COLLEGE)
The professor’s voice was clear and commanding, and the students hung on his every word.
He was a master of his subject, and he was passionate about teaching it. The students sat at their desks, taking notes and nodding along as the professor spoke. As the class went on, the students became more and more engaged, asking questions and offering up their own ideas.
It was a lively and engaging discussion, and the professor seemed pleased by the students’ enthusiasm.
“Is there any questions?”he asked immediately he finished explaining
Rosalie raised up her hand, and the professor called her
“What about the ethical implications of this theory?” Rosalie asked, her voice filled with curiosity.
The professor nodded, his eyes gleaming.
“Ah, an excellent question,” he said, his tone thoughtful.
“There are indeed some ethical concerns that need to be considered. Let’s discuss them now.” The class grew even more engaged as the discussion turned to ethics, and the students debated the issue with passion and intelligence.
Pinky and her friends sat at the back of the class, their heads bent over their phones, completely uninterested in the discussion. Their eyes were fixed on the screens, and they paid no attention to the professor or the other students.
They were focused solely on their phones, and it was clear that they didn’t care about the lesson. The professor seemed oblivious to their lack of interest, and he continued to lead the discussion, his voice filled with enthusiasm.
“Pinky can you explain what I just said now”the professor said to pinky
Pinky’s head jerked up, and she looked around the room in confusion.
“Me?” she asked, her voice uncertain.
“You want me to explain?” The professor nodded, his eyes fixed on her.
“Yes, please explain the concept of ethical concerns in relation to the theory we were discussing,” he said, his tone firm.
Pinky’s friends snickered, and she felt her face flush with embarrassment.
“I…I don’t know what to say,” she stammered, her eyes darting around the room.

Francisco’s face was a mix of disappointment
He knew Pinky was a bright and capable student, and her lack of attention in class was beginning to worry him. He knew she was capable of so much more, but she seemed to be choosing to squander her potential. He couldn’t help but feel a little sorry for her, but he also knew that he couldn’t let her slide by without putting in the effort.
“Answer me pinky”the professor shouted
The sudden shout made Pinky jump in her seat, and her eyes widened in alarm.
All of the other students turned to look at her, their faces curious.
“I’m sorry,” she said, her voice quivering.
“I didn’t hear what you were saying. Could you please repeat it?” The professor’s expression softened, and he nodded.
“Of course,” he said, his voice kinder now.
“Let’s start from the beginning.” Pinky exhaled in relief, grateful for the second chance.
As the professor began to repeat the lesson, Pinky focused her attention on him, determined not to let her mind wander again. But despite her best efforts, her mind kept drifting, and she found herself struggling to follow the lecture. It wasn’t that she didn’t understand the material, it was just that her mind kept wandering to other things. She tried to force herself to focus, but it was a losing battle.
“This will be all for today and I’ll want everyone of you to study this cos examination start soon”he said and park his books then walk away
As the students began to pack up their things, Pinky felt a wave of panic wash over her. The thought of an upcoming exam made her feel even more anxious. She knew she was going to have to do some serious studying if she wanted to do well, but the thought of it made her feel overwhelmed. She gathered her things and headed out of the classroom, her mind racing with thoughts of what she needed to do to prepare.
“Do you think pinky is sick,I know she’s a bitch but she’s always active in class”Rosalie said to Francisco
Francisco sighed and ran a hand through his hair.
“I’m not sure what’s going on with her,” he said, his voice thoughtful.
“She was always such a bright student, and now she just seems so…detached.” Rosalie nodded in agreement.
“It’s almost like she’s not even trying anymore,” she said, her voice tinged with sadness.
“I just hope she’s okay.” Francisco looked at Rosalie, his eyes full of concern.
“Me too,” he said, his voice soft.
“I miss cat so much,I’m gonna send today’s work to her,she needs to prepare for the examination”Rosalie said
“That’s very kind of you,” Francisco said, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
“I know how much Cat cares about her studies. I’m sure she’ll appreciate the help.” Rosalie’s expression softened.
“I just want her to know that we’re here for her,” she said, her voice full of warmth.
“Even if she’s not in class, we’re still thinking of her.” Francisco’s heart swelled with affection for Rosalie. She was such a caring and compassionate person, and he was lucky to have her as a friend.
“I have to go Rosalie,I’m going to pick my baby sister in school”Francisco said
“Aww, that’s so sweet of you,” Rosalie said, her eyes lighting up.
“How old is your baby sister?” Francisco smiled, a look of pride on his face.
“She’s just turned 15,” he said, his voice filled with love.
“She’s a little bundle of energy, but I love her so much.” Rosalie’s heart melted at the sight of Francisco’s obvious affection for his sister.
“That’s so sweet,” she said, her voice full of admiration.
“You’re going to be a great big brother.”Rosalie said
“And can I tag along,I’ll be so bored at home anyways”she pouted
Francisco laughed, a chuckle escaping his lips.
“Of course you can come,” he said, his tone light.
“I’m sure my sister would love to meet you.” Rosalie clapped her hands together, a grin spreading across her face.
“Yay! I can’t wait!” she said, her voice full of excitement.
“Let’s go!” Francisco shook his head, amused by Rosalie’s enthusiasm.
“Alright, alright, let’s go,” he said, playfully rolling his eyes.
As Pinky watched Francisco and Rosalie walk away, she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of jealousy.
They looked so happy together, and she couldn’t help but feel left out. She knew it was silly to feel that way, but she couldn’t help it. She tried to push the feeling away, but it lingered, nagging at the back of her mind. She sighed, feeling a little sad and alone.

(MARCELLUS PALACE~HALL WAY)
Rachel could be seen walking to her suite with the twins as she met Tedros at the hallway
“Good evening, your highness,” Tedros said, bowing respectfully to Rachel.
Rachel gave him a warm smile.
“Tedros, it’s so nice to see you,” she said, her voice friendly.
“How are you?” Tedros straightened up, a smile on his face.
“I’m well, thank you, your highness,” he said, his voice respectful.
“And how are you and the twins?” Rachel’s eyes lit up as she looked down at the twins. “We’re doing great,” she said, her voice full of pride.
“Hi cute uncle”Clara smiled at him and Rachel’s eyes widened
Tedros’ heart melted at the sight of Clara’s smile.
“Hello, my little princess,” he said, his voice soft and affectionate.
“How are you doing today?” Clara giggled and held up a drawing she had been working on.
“I made a picture!” she said, her voice full of excitement. Tedros bent down to take a closer look, his eyes full of wonder.
“That’s amazing!” he said, his voice full of admiration.
“You’re such a talented artist!”he smiled
Rachel smiled as she watch them,truly her eyes was on Tedros lips
“Gosh what are you thinking Rachel”She cautioned her self
“We’ll see you later Tedros”Rachel smiled and took the kids from him
Tedros nodded, giving Rachel a respectful bow.
“Until next time, your highness,” he said, his tone formal.
Rachel gave him a small wave as she turned to leave. As Tedros watched her walk away, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of sadness.
He had always admired Rachel’s strength and grace, and he wondered if he would ever find someone who could make him feel the way she did. But he pushed the thought away, knowing it was not meant to be.
“Gosh stop this Tedros”He muttered and walk away
