EMMA POV
It was the same path I took when I was going that i took when I was coming
No one must see me,After all am the queen and no one must know that I left the palace just to go and see out side for a while
I was walking past the garden when I looked up and saw Brian waiting for me.
As soon as he saw me,He opened up his arms and I ran into it,.hvgging him fiercely
” Enjoyed your day?” He asked as he held unto me
“Yes I did,it was fun and am glad that I saw my dad”I said as I starred up at him
“Its so good to see you smile like this”He said
“Haven’t I always smile?”I asked starring at him
“Its been a while since I saw you smile like this,Am glad that you went out to see the city,It has really put you in a good mood”He said
I thought about the stranger I had met earlier and I wondered what Brian would have done of he had seen the guy with me .
“Yes It did and I hope that the next time we do this,You will come with me”I said and he nodded gently putting his fore head on mine.
Some one coughed gently and we both turned to see who the person is.
“Sorry to disturb you your Highness but The great king wishes to see you” Brian PA said starring at me in a odd way
I didn’t un-derstand why at first but when I realised that I was still in the same attire I had on when I was leaving the room, I un-der stood then
A queen isn’t permitted to wear some thing like this,I thought as I stared at Brian who had gone silent all of a sudden
“Tell him I will come see him”He said to his PA and quic-kly the man went off to rel@ythe message
“Why do you look like that? Is he calling you because of your marriage to the other Bride” I asked
“Yes,It seems like it”He replied starring at me
“Would you be fine?”He asked
“You are always. Asking me that question and I keep on telling you that am fine,am fine with it”I as-sured him giving him a smile
“Fine then,I will go and speak to my father”He said and I turned to leave but he pu-ll-ed me back k!ss!ngmyl-ips
“No matter what happens,never forget that I love you”He said and that almost made me cry,Forcing a smile to myl-ips,I nodded
“Go now”I said gently pushing him
With one last look,He walked off,I knew he was doing some thing he didn’t want at all but he has to
That’s the only way he can have a child and as have said I must be fine with it,I thought sadly.
BRIAN POV
“You can go in your majesty,His Highness has been waiting for you”The Great king guard said As he opened the door
I walked in and with out waiting for him to usher me to a seat,I sat down and waited for him to tell me about what I asked him to do .
“I did my findings son and have found some one who is re-ady to be your mistress”He said
” Who ?”I asked
“Alicia ray”He said putting a picture of her in front of me
I picked it up and starred at it,She is quite beautiful and S-xy but not even miss world would make my feelings for Emma change.
“Tell me about her?”
“She has been living in the states with her brother, They had both lost their parents and have been living with what her brother makes for a living.i heard that Alicia was in the hospital for a while and two years ago she left,It was then that she started modelling and she has made it big,She is being sought out by a lot of company”
“I never thought that she would accept once we told her about it but she did immediately,There were others who accepted too but I don’t just want any one to be the mother of your child,I chose Alicia because she is the perfect option”He said
“So because Alicia Is a model and because she is beautiful you decided to chose her over the rest”I asked
“Yes,I did,Is there any problem?”He asked
“None at all,I just wondered why you chose her,Well you have chos£n her just bring her here,So I can get started” I said non chanlantly
‘”Talk like this all you want but don’t you dare talk to Alicia like that,She is a very fragile girl,You shouldn’t mess with her,Though she might be your mistress,You can also show her some love”He said
“Love! Didn’t you tell her that I have a wife who I love so much! I doubt it,Just make it clear to her that she will just be the mother of my child and nothing else”
“But Brian!!!!!”
“But nothing dad, You wanted me to have a child and that is what am doing,If you still want me to have an heir then don’t pester me,If you continue to do so I will st©p the whole thing” I said and left the room.
I went straight to my room and found Emma slee-ping.
The poor thing looked so worn out, Though she tells me that she is doing fine,I know that she is not.
I layed on the be-d and pu-ll-ed her into my arms
She snuggled close and held me ti-ght.
“Did the meeting with your father go well? “She asked gently
“Yes,It went well”I replied
“Did they at least pick a beautiful bride for you?” She asked with sadness in her voice
“Beautiful my foot,Just by looking at her picture,She looks so ugly”I said and she laughed
“But she will be the mother of your child,don’t you tell her that she is ugly,She might get angry”She said softly
“I don’t care,In my eyes you are the only beautiful lady in my heart,I love you and only you”I said and she opened her eyes to stare up at me
Lost in her gaze,I pu-ll-ed her into my arms and k!$$£d her s-en-selessly.
THE NEXT DAY
EMMA POV
The whole family sat together for break fast,it is the only thing we do together as a family.
Eating break fast,Though I would have loved to skip today .
I couldn’t ba-re seeing the king starring at me guiltily while the queen stare at me maliciously
“Hey love,Eat” Brian said bringing my wandered thoughts back to the Table.
“The meeting will be today” His father said abruptly and that st©pped Brian
“Isn’t it too early?” he asked
” Is it not too early for that “Brian asked as he dropped down his spoon in anger
“The earlier the better son,You are not getting younger any more”His mother said starring at me
“So she will be coming today right?”He asked getting angry
“Yes,I called her myself and asked her to be here!”The queen said
“Knowing that today is our wedding anniversary,Yet you chose today to be the day I meet her”He said hitting the table
quic-kly I held his hand,Starring at both his parents.
I knew he was angry for my sake and I have to calm him down
“Its okay Brian”I said
“No it’s not, Can’t you see that they did it on purpose”Brian said angrily
“But you have to meet her some day”I said
“Not today,Not when it’s a day sacred to the both of us”He said
“Can you plea-se just calm down”I begged gently
“I don’t know how you can sit calm and tolerate all this”He said and walked off.
I sat starring after him “You should know that we didn’t do this on purpose”The king said
“No matter what you are his wife and you will always be the queen,Even if he has a mistress “The king said again
“A mistress? What do you mean by a mistress”I asked
“Don’t tell me That my son didn’t tell you about it”The queen said
“He didn’t tell me any thing,plea-se tell me what you meant by his mistress”I asked starring at the king
” He agreed to do this only if he doesn’t have to marry her,He prefer having her as his mistress than as his wife” the king explained
Not waiting for more explanation from them,I went in search of him.
I went straight to his study,He was standing by his window and was starring outside.
Knowing that he decided not to marry her made me feel happy
He had agreed for her to be his mistress rather than his wife.
“What do you want?”He asked and quic-kly I went to him and hvg him from behind
“Thank you”I whispered gently
“Why are you thanking me now?”He asked
“For deciding not to marry her,For preferring to have her as your mistress than as your second wife”I said as I held him ti-ghtly
“you shouldn’t be thanking me,I did that only because I didn’t want to have two wives”He said
“Liar! You did that because you don’t want me feeling hurt”I said
He turned and stared at me ” I love you okay and if she were to have my child,You will always be the one I love and want”He said
Just then the door opened and the man I didn’t expect to see again walked in.

EMMA POV
The man stood starring at the two of us , I was still in shock to speak.
How did he know about this place and why is he here,I thought
“What is this? How dare you come in here with out ma-king your pres£nce known first”Brian said angrily.
The man gave us both a smile and bowed gently and just then his PA walked into the room
“Am sorry your majesty,Your Highness”He said bowing quic-kly
“I had lost sight of him because I was talking to one of the ministers,I didn’t know that he had come in here looking for you and judging by your look,He c@m£ in unannounced” The PA added
“Its of no use apologising, One thing I was taught by my parent was having manners and knocking before entering was one of them,I did knock but it seems like the king was very busy with his queen and he didn’t hear me knock”He said starring at me
I turned away not wanting to stare at him,I could still remember what he said to me at the hospital
“I think that have fallen for you ” I closed my eyes trying to shut out that memory
“You should have waited for my response,You didn’t have to come in like that”Brian said again
“Fine then,I made a mistake by coming in with out waiting for you to ask me to come in,Am I pardon your majesty”He said bowing at the both of us.
“Who the hell is he? He is getting on my nerves”Brian asked starring at his PA.
quic-kly his PA walked towards us and said some thing into his ears ,That certainly brou-ght Brian temper down.
“So you are the architect?”Brian asked starring at him
“The one and only William ray”He said
Brian turned to me “I will talk to you later, This meeting is very important”He said as he k!$$£d me lightly on thel-ips.
“plea-se James,Escourt my wife to her room”He said to his PA
I walked out of the study not looking at the man who stood by the door.
I knew he was starring at me but I dare not look at him.
He mustn’t know that I remember him,I thought as I left the room.
Later that day,I stood in the garden helping with the decorations.
I was Trying to make a ro-mantic atmosphere for dinner tonight
After all it was our anniversary and am sure that Brian would love it.
While the maid help me set up the table and chair,I wondered if William has left alre-ady.
I never thought that I would be meeting him again,Just knowing that he is an architect and would be working close with Brian made me feel weird.
“Your Highness,Where do you want this light to be?”one of the maid asked as she showed me one of the decoration lights.
I took it from her and climbe-d the little ladder to put it amongst the other lights.
I smiled seeing that it fitted that place perfectly
“Preparing all this to surprise your husband for your anniversary”A familiar voice said .
I turned to look at him but it was a wrong mistake because the ladder Shaked and I lost my balance,Falling in the process.
But I didn’t fall on the floor instead I fell into some one arms and when I opened my eyes to see who it was,It turned out to be him
“I think have fallen for you” I remembered what he said and that made me blus-h .
“Do you know that you blus-h beautifully”He said and I starred at him
As quic-kly as I could,I got out of his arms and straightened my go-wn before starring at him
“Why are you here and where is my husband?”I asked
“Oh I think he is some where looking for you,Why didn’t you tell me that you were married?”He asked
“Tell you? When would I have the chance to tell you that when I just met you today”I lied starring at him
He smiled gently “So you are pretending not to know me now?”He asked
“Have we met before? I doubt we have beside I would have remember if I knew you”I said lightly
“Its okay if you don’t want to acknowledge knowing me” He said
“I don’t know you,I only met you today,You might have confused me for some one else”I said quic-kly and he starred at me strangely
“If you would excuse me”I said and walked off.
I was heading towards the house when I collided into Brian
“Hey you look like some one is pursuing you and where is your escourt?”He asked
They were all helping me with the surprise I had for him.
“I actually s£nt them off?”I said as I held his hand
“Why?”
“Cause I felt like being alone”I lied
“You know how worried I get when you are not with them”He said
“I know but I..I just wanted to be alone,Let’s st©p talking about me,Tell me about that architect guy? Why was he here?” I asked changing the subject and also wanting to know why he was here
“Well i nee-ded an architect to help me prepare some thing and they told me that he is the best in town,So I hired him”He said
“Where would he be working on and why do you nee-d an architect ?”I asked
“He would be working in the palace”He said
“Palace? But why? Are you planning on building another house but all these are enough”I said
Just knowing that he would be working in the palace and he would be close to me got me feeling agitated
“Am building it for you”He said
“For me? But why”I asked
“My anniversary gift to you”He said and I starred at him
“Really?”I asked and he starred at me
“Yes,Come with me?”He said pu-lling my hand.
We walked for a while until we got a deserted area.
The palace is very big and it had a lot of unused land amongst it
“This place you are looking at will be where I will build the house for you ” he said as he stood behind me and wra-p his arm around me
“Remember telling about the orphanage?”He asked
“Yes”
“You told me that it would be good if the palace could have a lot of kids pla-ying in it”He said and i nodded
“I said that on impulse Brian because I felt hurt seeing the way they were living in that terrible building and neighbourhood”
“And you rectified it by providing them with more food and security,Are you doing this for them ?”I asked
“For you my sweet,I figured that if I build this for you,The kids can move here and since you ha-rd ly do any thing,You can always come here and have fun with them” he said gently and I felt t©uçhed
“So in short you did all this for my benefit”I asked feeling very t©uçhed
“Yes,I did”he said and i turned to give him a k!ss
“You are the best”I said as I hvgged him ti-ghtly
“Your majesty”James,His PA ran towards us
“What’s wrong?”he asked
“She is here! The king said I should tell you this way,That you will un-derstand” He said
We both knew what the king meant and we starred at each other
“You can go first”I said sli-pping my hand out of his
He took my hand and held it ti-ght “If we are going to see her for the first time,We will be doing it together”He said and I nodded gently.
Together we went back to the palace only to see the king and queen outside.
A lady stood in front of them,Talking to them , with her back facing us.
Just by looking at her clothing,I could tell that she will be a very beautiful woman,I thought as we walked towards them
“Finally you are here son”The king said and just then the lady turned and I g@sp seeing how beautiful she looked
She looked so very much gorgeous as she starred only at Brian.
“So you are Alicia ray?”He asked starring at her
“yes I am and you are his majesty Brian Stone,Nice to meet you”She said stretching fourth her hand and Brian took her hand in his .
“And you must be her Highness,Dora Stone”She asked starring at me in a strange way
“I am”I replied holding unto Brian arm
“Well it’s nice to meet you too”She said stretching forth her hand and i Shaked it too.
“Isn’t she pretty,She has clas-s too”The queen asked starring at Brian,Waiting for him to comment on her beauty
But he disappointed her by saying “Shall we all go in”
“Of course we should”the king replied and together we all went in
Unknown to us William ray stood at a distance watching us all
“This looks very interesting”He said gently and smiled.
We were all sitted in the patio and while Alicia ray got Every one attention ,I watched her silently
Trying to know her by watching her closely,There were times that I found her starring at Brian.
And each time she stared at me,She will give me a smile.
“Tell us about your brother”The great king asked
“Oh there isn’t much to tell about him, He will be working as he always does and besides…..I think his latest project is in the palace”She said suddenly
“In the palace? “The king asked
“What work does he do?”Brian asked
“He is an architect”She replied and my suspicions began to form a reality
“Don’t tell me that you are William ray sister” I asked suddenly and she stared at me
“You’ve got that right your Highness, Am her brother”William said standing by the door starring at us.
Not only is he the stranger I unburdened my heart to,He is also Alicia brother.
Things can’t just get worse,I thought sadly.
