Ryan Pov ?
We’re at the shooting venue already for the first photoshoot but Eva isn’t here yet and I don’t know what to tell Mom when she come to ask me again cause the last time, she came asking why Eva hasn’t arrived at the venue yet, I lied to her that I forgot to send her the venue yesterday even though it was a lie but what if she don’t know where this is?
I can’t afford an embarras-sment today and seeing that my whole family is here, help me, God!
I took out my phone to call her when I see her walking in looking all elegant and beautiful. She’s wearing a black crop top that’s showing her se-xy navel and a white trouser and she let her hair fall behind her. I’m just realizing that she has a beautiful and se-xy li-ps.
“Sorry I’m late.” She said standing in front of me. I don’t even know what to say to her cause her beauty has caught me off guard. I don’t know if I should scold her as her boss or I should just tell her that it’s all fine.
“It’s…”
“You’re an hour’s late young lady.” Mom said cutting me short. Eva stood in that direction for almost 5 seconds before turning to Mom, I guess she was thinking of what to tell her.
“Sorry ma’am, I was attending to something else at home.” She said but I can hear sarcasm in her tone. Eva hasn’t worked with VPH for a week yet but she’s already giving Mom headache, more like she’s not afraid of her or something. If I’m the one in her shoe, I’ll be trembling.
“Attending to something?! You know I can fire you right?!” Mom threatened her.
“Common Ma’am I apologized already. Can we just get on with it instead.” She said looking around ignoring Mom that’s in front of her. I am very sure that Mom is already boiling in rage cause I saw how ti-ghten her face suddenly became.
“The two of you should go get your makeup done and we’ll begin.” Mom said.
“Makeup? I think we should try something different.” Eva said and Mom fold her hand up to her che-st.
“Interesting. What do you possibly have for us?!”
Okay, I’m starting to like her.
“How about we go without any make-up? Something natural.” Eva said and she herself wasn’t even sure of what she just said.
Mom kept mute staring at her and I wonder just what was she thinking?
“If we try something that no one has ever done before believe me there will be a chance for us to top the number one.” Eva said convincingly and to my greatest surprise Mom agreed.
“Alright then, let’s try that. Go get prepared.” Mom said and left the sp-ot.
“What did you just do?!” I asked her as we were walking to the dressing room.
“Something none of you would have done? Look, your mother is nice it’s just you people that don’t know how to work with her.” She said as we got in.

In less than an hour the shooting began.
Julius, Madam Esther and Vivian are standing side by side each other watching the shoot.
“Who is that girl with Ryan? It looks like she’s fli-rting with my grandson.” Madam Esther said
“That’s how photoshoot is Mom.” Julius replied her while Vivian is just trying her best not to join in their conversation cause she’s getting irritated already and if not because her husband is standing with them, she would have excused herself.
“Because they’re photoshooting they should be holding hands and look at that, Ryan is even holding her wai-st.”
Vivian rolled her eyes at this.
“Don’t be paranoid Mom. Excuse me.” Julius said and walk away and as Madam Esther sees that Vivian wasn’t paying attention to them, she decides to engage her in one.
“Do you know that your child is of same age as this girl?”
Vivian shut her eyes in rage and whisphered to herself to just calm down and not ruin today for herself. She turned her ne-ck to Madam Esther smiling.
“I already know and there’s no nee-d for you to remind me. And you don’t have to worry cause once I find my child you’re going straight to jail.” Vivian said and Madam Esther chuckled.
“Still uptill now you’re still holding into the fact that am the one who kidnapped your child?”
“You kidnapped me and locked me up even when you knew I was pregnant with your son’s child and you said you were going to take the child away from me but I escaped from you so tell me Esther, who else has the motive to steal my child?” Vivian ask her still displaying that smiling face and Madam Esther place her hand on Vivian’s shoulder.
“You should move on from a child that’s already dead.” Madam Esther said and Vivian was just about to hit her when Chris called her and it helped her calm down.
If there’s anything she’s going to do, that is she’s going to put Madam Esther exactly where she belongs.
Eva POV ?
“Good job guys.” Chris said giving the crew members thumbs up while I’m just by a corner drying my hair using a towel and Ryan is sitting operating my phone.
I don’t know what he’s looking for there.
“Chris, won’t you congratulate me atleast? I mean you guys have drained all the energy left in me.” I said in sarcasm but true though.
“You’ll get your congratulations when the result comes out.” He said and went his way. I clic-ked my tongue and continue with what I was doing then I heard my phone ringing and I rushed to meet Ryan and took my phone from him. It was grandma Andrea that was calling.
Damn, I’ve missed her.
“Hello grandma.” I said calmly cause I know exactly what will follow next and I was right, she start yelling on the phone telling me that I got them all worried because I was not calling them and they can’t call me unless I called them.
“I’m sorry grandma. I’ve been busy with work but how did you manage to get throu-ghto me? Wait, don’t tell me that….”
I shock at the realization.
“We’re here in Texas Eva!” I heard Angel’s voice from the other end.
“What? Why? What are you doing here in Texas?”
“I’ll give you an answer when you come pick us up. I want to see where you’re staying and with whom.” She said and I nod my head.
“Where exactly are you?”
I ended the call after they told me where to come pick them up.
I drop the phone on the plastic table that’s in front of Ryan who didn’t even give me a glance as he was busy with his phone.
Why didn’t they tell me they were coming?
What am I going to do now?
I can’t possibly take them to Auntie’s house?
I’m leaving the house this weekend so what’s the point of bringing them there?
And I haven’t been paid my salary so how am I going to rent a house?
And now that they’re here?
What am I going to do?

Ryan Pov ?
“Are you okay?” I asked her dropping my phone on the table in front of me and she looked worried as if something bad is about to happen or has been happened.
She was hesitant to give me a reply maybe because she didn’t want to tell me or she’s just thinking on how to break down the sad news.
“Can you ride me to the park?” She said and I took my phone and put it in my pocket then got up.
“What are you going to be doing in the park?” I asked again as we were walking towards my car and that was when she told me that her grandmother and younger sister are already in Texas.
I don’t know but it’s like she doesn’t even want them here or is there something else that am missing?
I asked if they didn’t tell her before coming and she said they’re just calling her when they arrived. She was sounding kinda mad saying that what if she has gone out of Texas to take her photoshoot that where will they go and stay?
“Your house of course. They’ll just break the lock and get in.” I said driving.
“A house that’s not even existing.”
When she said that I reduce the speed limit I was riding on and turned to her then back to the road.
“Where have you been living?”
“Nevermind.” She said and her phone start to ring again and I think it was her grandmother calling her again.

I am leaning by my car and crossing my arms to my che-st watching the family rebounding and at the same time smiling like a føøl.
The second we got to the Park, we go down and there they are waving at her as if they’ve been waiting for eternity. They were talking and laughing and even though I can’t hear what they were saying I bet they are happy to see each other and hey, they just turned to look at me and continue with that their conversation.
Are they talking about me now?
What must they be saying?
Or is it that Eva is checking me out?
This time it was only her that turned to look at me and when our eyes met, she waved at me and turned back to her family.
I push my hair backward and changed my posture.
If she’s checking me out then I nee-d to be standing confident.
I’m still admiring her when my phone start to ring and on checking the caller ID it was Mom that was calling.
What is it this time?
I answered the call and the first thing I heard her ask was where I was? I told her I and Eva had to go someplace then she said she wants me home in the next hour that there is something she would want us to talk about.
I told her no problem and ended the call and when I raised my head, I saw Eva standing in front of me while her grandmother and sister are still on same sp-ot.
“Is something wrong?”
“Do you know of any cheap hotel around here which I can book?” She asked me and I wondered why she will nee-d to book an hotel when she has a place to stay.
“What happened to the place you’re staying? Oh, you’re ashamed of where you’re living?” I asked trying to tease her. I haven’t seen her smile since the photoshoot, maybe it’s cause of all this stress.
“I’m staying with my friend’s aunty and she has asked me to leave this weekend so I can’t possibly take them there and then move again. You un-derstand me right?” She asked me and I nod my head cause I un-derstood her completely.
“Do you have money to book any hotel?” I asked her cause I know very well that she hasn’t been paid her first month salary so where will she get the money.
She turned to look at her family and back to me again.
“What should I do?”
“How about you come to stay with me?”
Oh no, I’m sounding like a pervert now.
“Won’t that be a burden? I mean your family might not like the idea.”
Is she agreeing to it already?
“Don’t worry about them and besides it’s just for tonight right?” I don’t know if am supposed to ask her that cause the look she has on her face is that of worry.
“Do you….”
“Sure. Just for tonight.” She said and waved towards her family and her sister brou-ght the while her grandmother followed behind.
I greeted her and led her to the backseat and Eva’s younger sister joined behind while Eva is sitting on the pas-senger’s seat.
“What’s your name?” I am referring to Eva’s younger sister.
“Angel. You have a nice car.” Angel said and I replied with a smile.
“Grandma, we’ll be going to my boss house tonight and by tomorrow I’ll get us an apartment.” Eva said.
“Who are you young man?” Her grandmother asked me.
“Ryan. Ryan McKings.” I said smiling as my hands are on the wheel.
“You’re the grandson of Esther McKings?” She asked as if she knew my family. Or did she?
“Yes. That’s my grandmother.” I said driving.
“We’re not going to that house. Please take us back.” She said
Eva Pov ?
“We’re not going to that house. Please take us back.” Grandma said. I don’t nee-d another person to tell me that there is a problem somewhere and am not surprised cause that Madam Esther look li terror.
But where will we stay if Ryan took us back??
“Why grandma?”
“There’s no problem, let’s just go.” She said and rested her back on the seat backrest.
Ryan drove into a big compund and it’s having beautiful views around it.
We got down front the car and he asked someone to bring our luggages from the boot.
When we got inside, we saw the devil and her son watching news on the Television.
“Good evening Grandma. Dad.” Ryan greeted and when they turned to look at us. We too greeted them and I noticed that the devil is just staring at my grandmother like she wants to devour her.
I don’t know what’s between these two but won’t it be fun to find out?

“Who are these?” She asked referring to us. I can’t even see Ma’am Vivian here. Maybe she’s already asleep or doing another work.
“This is Angel and Grandma Andrea, they’re Eva’s family. They arrived at Texas tonight and they nee-ded a place to stay so I volunteered to help them.” Ryan said.
“You don’t do that Ryan. You can’t just be bringing in strangers into our house? What if they’re hire killers or worst?!”
“Stop overreacting Mom.” Mr. Julius said and he faced me while I kept a smiling face.
“Eva is working for us and I don’t think Ryan did anything bad here. You can show them to their room Ryan and you guys are welcome to stay for as long as you want.” He said.
“Thank you very much sir.” I thanked him. He’s really nice.
He went back to his seat and then Madam Esther phone began ringing.
“Who’s this?” She said making a disgusting face.
Just pick the call to find out!
If this woman is my grandmother, she’ll wish I was dead cause I’ll so much frustrate her.
“Hello, Madam Esther on the phone. Who’s this please?”

Suddenly she made a shocking expression.
“Stanley, son?! Is that you?!”
When she sees that I was listening on her, she roll her eyes at me and walk away.
Who’s Stanley?
And she called him her son?!
Does this mean that Madam Esther has two sons?!
