Chapter Thirty Five:
Ares
My body kept trembling, rage continuously building in me, who would want to hurt my little mouse, if I wasn’t there in time they should have took her or worst killed her
” sir ” the moment I heard the doctors voice I quickly rise to my feet and face him, his gaze met mine, he flinch ” start talking ” I gro-an losing patience of sitting here while they do whatever to my Zoe in there
” she is okay, just some broken ribs and nose. She should be awake any moment from now ” he rush his words ” she needs to stay in the hospital for a week or two, to receive treatment ”
” can I see her ”
” yes but she is still unconscious ” nodding I made my way to her ward and open the door, closing it behind me I stare at Zoe, her eyes closed, her face pale. She looks dead
Moving my hands to touch her face I stop mid way, my gaze drop to my hands fill with blood, squeezing them I pull back, this is all my fault. If only I didn’t leave her alone
Shit.
Turning around I walk into the bathroom in her ward, wash my hands thorou-ghly before heading out, Zoe still unconscious. Running my hands throu-ghmy hair I nod knowing what to do
Whoever touch what’s mine will pay
Storming out of the hospital, murmurs fill the air about how am drain in blood. Ignoring all that I walk straight to my car, get in and straight to lunox place

With each step I take the ground kept cracking, all my eyes has turn dark green not even a touch of white nor silver. I didn’t bother to knock I walk throu-ghthe door ” lunox!!!” I growl, my whole body trembling with need to kill
The only word in my mouth was to kill kill and kill ” lunox!!” This time her light bulbs broke and her wall crack, maids run all over her mansion trying to notify her of my presence
Lunox run downstairs then stop when she took in my mood, fear emitted from her body, yes she should be scared, scared of what is about to happen to her ” Hell, what are you doing here ”
” don’t you dare play innocence with me ” within a blink of an eye, my hands are grabbing her hair ti-ght while she yell ” I made one thing Crystal clear, what’s mine is protected”
” what are you talking….. ” before she could complete her sentence I grip off all her hair from her head as she scream, tears dropping from her eyes, she fell to the floor and crawl back ” please stop…..I have no idea what you’re talking about ” all her words fell on deef ears
I wasn’t hearing anything anymore, I had no idea what I was doing anymore, all I kept thinking was revenge, my hands move to her right arm and pull it out, blood fill the entire place, she tried fighting back, throwing her leg which successfully engage with my face but didn’t shake me one bit
Grabbing that I pull at it ” Ahhh!!!” She scream, laying helpless on the floor ” this is a message to anyone that mess with me….what’s mine is protected” with that I left her with one arm and one leg gone
Zoe
Waking up I cover my eyes from the bright light emitting from the open windows, I had no idea where I am, lowering my hands a little, the room painted white with blue curtains
” she’s awake”
” oh thank god ”
Murmurs fill my room with voices am finding ha-rd to recognize, completely lowering my hands off my face I stare at the ceiling before turning my gaze to my left
Mum and dad sit there smiling happily, looks like they have been crying, Marston and Marston move closer as I sit up ” mum??” I muttered
” how are you feeling Zoe ” mum asked while I smiled then nod my head ” but my stomach hurt a bit” the door suddenly burst open revealing a worried may
” Zoe you’re awake” may rush to my side” what happened ” I stare at them then everything came back to me, the men, their punches and the green eyes just like when Salvador possess Ares body
” Ares ” I muttered my eyes roaming round the room ” where is he??” Marston shook his head ” he called us a week ago that you got into an accident then send the address of the hospital and nothing else….he hasn’t come to see you ”
” you mean I have been out for a whole week” they all nod their head ” I have to see him, he might still be mad at me for what I said…he shouldn’t hate me ” I tried standing up but mum hold me back ” I have to see him ” pulling the drip off my body I tried pushing them off me but the doctors rush in, injecting me with something, causing me to lose my consciousness

Chapter Thirty Six
Zoe
” I hope she forgets about him soon, which boyfriend don’t check on his girlfriend after she got into an accident ”
” right from the start I knew that boy was no good” my dad muttered, pain in his voice ” she is running mad looking for him, from today she is moving back into our home and as soon as the holiday is over she is going to a boarding school to finish her high school”
” what about the boys they will miss her” mum tried changing dads mind but I know that won’t work
” well she haven’t been staying with the boys have she??, all she has been doing during this holiday is to stay with that bastard” he gro-an ” look at my daughter condition, if I haven’t seen this Ares man for myself I will think he is a drug dealer and have made Zoe addicted”
” maybe you’re right ”
I remain quite, pretending I was still asleep, did Ares really leave me, he did help me but didn’t even try checking on me?? Not even once..why??
” am going to get the fruits be right back ” dad excuse himself out, I opened my left eye and watch my mum move to the bathroom, I exhale before sitting up, I have to see Ares, something is wrong
Pulling the drip off my hands I slowly stand to my feet, holding my stomach as I open the door slowly, I look left and right, doctors, nurse and patients on wheel chair pa-ssing by
I quickly close the door and head to the way out, with each step I take my stomach hurts badly, why didn’t Ares heal me himself, that will have been fas-ter. This still hurts
I got a glimpse of may face accompanied with my dad, they seem to be talking and in less than few minutes their gaze will land on me
I look around myself, sp-ot a door which I quickly open, get in and close it ” that was a relieve ” turning around I stare at the different clothes hand all over the room
Now this will be a good disguise, taking off this plane blue dress, I put on a jean trouser which wasn’t my size but manageable, followed by a brown shirt, roll my hair and put on a cap
Nodding my head I open the door and fasten my steps throu-ghthe doors and finally out of the hospital, a red alarm turn on alerting everyone of a missing patient
The moment I heard that I ran as fast I can before anyone notice me, I was scared of taking into a cab so I decided to walk, the hospital was really far from Ares place
My legs and stomach hurt badly, I was growing weak and I have no idea if I could make it to Ares in time, I just have a feeling that something is happening to Ares
Instincts or not, am scared for him, my mind went back to the dead body I fell on while running away, I did stare at it for a while and know it was a woman body, a woman with dark hair
What was she doing on the ground in the middle of the road and what do these people want with me, I have never hurt anymore and I don’t think I have enemies
Is it because Ares is with me, is that why he haven’t visited me for days, is that why he acted so cold to me, is he still mad at me, I want to make it up to him
Walking by the side of the road, cars, bikes and bicycle pa-ssed by. taking my last step I fell down, the whole world turning upside down right before my eyes

My breathing won’t slow down ” blood, more blood, more descendants hearts!!” I laughed, the need was too strong for me to handle, I had no idea why was I was killing or what my body is doing right now
Nor do I know what I keep saying out loud, it felt like I couldn’t control my body, a scent caught my attention, my nails grow longer, the instinct of killing came back to me in full for-ce
I tried moving my hands but couldn’t, I tried standing but I couldn’t then it all came to me, Xar and Zar chained me up in the basement
The scent came closer as Zar came in view, he stare at me like I was a different person, has my face also changed?? ” what happened to Ares” he gro-an
I wanted saying it was me but I couldn’t, some other words came out of my mouth ” he is dead and gone for life ” I know this is Salvador doing, I shouldn’t have allowed rage and revenge consume me like that
” did you know what you caused by killing lunox, do you know how that shit will affect us huh” Xar is yelling now ” why do you allow this stupid skull to control you and still controlling you ”
Because Zoe isn’t here, I want my little mouse if not what am I living for, absolutely nothing ” lunox death might have probably reach the counsel…. We are fu-ck ed, fu-ck ed up”
” are you missing the fact that my little mouse almost got killed by her ” I gro-an, they step back as I tried breaking the chain ” do you have any idea how they punched and break her bones??? Do you know Zoe almost die!!” This time I yell getting angry at them
” he won’t say anything else, I have a plan ” Xar muttered, they both turn around to leave me in this shit hole, when am out of this am teaching them a good lesson
” get this thing off me ” I tried breaking the chain but no matter what I do it doesn’t bulge ” now!!”
