Chapter Thirty Two:
Ares
I can’t believe am doing this right down, I sit on a mat with Zoe waiting patiently for midnight before heading back. Just because someone said if you stick around and watch the fire works you will have a great year ahead, Zoe believed and here am I
Moving my gaze to my left, Zoe sit patiently, she look so tired, her eyes closed, her head fall a bit before she wake up. It happened thrice and she finally fall on my lap
Setting her head properly I stare at her face, I can do anything for this little mouse, absolutely anything but what is about to come will be creepy and scary for her. I can’t promise I will always protect but she should have some good luck with her
Tucking her hair behind her ear I exhale then smile, if she is so tired why persistent and staying till midnight, such a silly girl
” 5,4,3,2…” Everybody kept yelling but I refuse to wake her up, she look so peaceful and quite…and quite is something she rarely is so I have to savour this
Looking around, couples kis-s themselves, everyone yelling happy new year to themselves ” oh god ” Zoe lift her head but I quickly pull it down, back on my lap ” I didn’t get to see the….”
” shh” I place a finger on her li-ps ” I saw it for both of us, is that okay ” she nod her head smiling, her li-ps part, I quickly use my fingers and close them ” enough talking for today
She nod not arguing, standing up I hold her hands, we walk back to the jet ” are you happy little mouse ”
” I missed the fire works ” she furrow her brows ” but that’s okay, all that matters is us ” I watch her step into the jet so did I, why is she suddenly quite, what is bothering her??
Starting it I exhale ” tell me ” that’s all I said before she face me, place her heads lazily on her hands ” is nothing, I was thinking of acting more matured from now on, I mean you keep on getting ashamed of me right” I could see that she believed that, I said nothing
She relaxed her head and close her eyes, not speaking while we fly back, what made her think am feeling that way?? Did someone talk to her back there
” little mouse???? ”
” Mmm”
” we have arrived ” she nod then down she went, I don’t like this new Zoe one bit ” aren’t you coming ” I shook my head at her question
” I think I forgot my little mouse over there” I growl frowning at her ” what’s with this new character, I like the old one better ”
” but….”
” no but Zoe, I don’t care about what people think, all I want is my little mouse and where she traveled to??” Zoe face suddenly brighten up, she smile and I know that stupid attitude is gone
Getting off it I place my hands on her shoulder as we walk into the house, Zoe stopped walking suddenly ” what’s wrong ”
” we didn’t do our new years kis-s” she muttered looking at me ” I was sleeping ” wrapping my hands around her wai-st I lift her up a bit crushing my li-ps on hers, I have been starved a whole day from her kis-ses so it wasn’t soft nor was it gently. It was rou-gh
I literally fu-ck ed her mouth, my tongue danced with hers, trying to taste her more I de-eperen the kis-s and she mo-an. The light turn on cause us to break the kis-s
My gaze landing on the vampires I quickly kis-s her five star tattoo, thankfully am fast ” Mr Hell??” Everybody looked so surprised
Unwrapping my hands from Zoe wai-st I whisper to her ears ” go upstairs little mouse ” she looked at me confused ” just do this okay..go” she stood there for awhile before walking into the elevator
My cold gaze was back on and glaring down at these people ” I didn’t remember inviting anybody over did I??” Lunox sitting on the couch only smiled and Evelyn did nothing but continued smoking, the guards with them rise their hands up showing they mean no harm
” what do I owe this visit Evelyn ” shoving my hands into my pocket I walk towards their direction, she stand up, move towards me and slap me across the face, I didn’t bulge only stare at her
Grabbing her wrist I added pressure ” Ares??” She gro-an, who do she think she is to slap me?? She has no idea how much hatred I have for her
” how dare you !!” I gro-an at her, the moment she take in my eyes colours she shuttered ” you come into my house uninvited and that to slap my face” my voice was getting de-eper by the second
” Ares that’s your mother ” lunox half yell and I shoot her an angry glare ” mother my foot” pushing her away I watch her fall to the floor holding her wrists and the guards help her up ” I hate repeating myself, why are you here ”
” vampires have been dieing Ares, what have you been doing huh ” lunox said ” the descendants are taking advantage and finishing our people, we need the old Ares back ”
” is it because of that girl??” Evelyn gro-an and I point a finger at her ” they are limits you shouldn’t cross Evelyn and that girl is someone no body touches. What’s mine is protected ” I gro-an ” and so what if the descendants are killing, what am I, don’t I deserve a break ”
” No!!” Evelyn stand up and shouted ” you are brou-ght to this world for one purpose and that is to kill, kill and kill. Why do you keep seeing yourself as a person instead of an successful experiment ” squeezing my hands I could feel my body trembling with need to kill this woman
” and what about me, you’re marrying me in future and you haven’t marked me yet but keep bringing pets to fu-ck ??” I listen to a footsteps run back and know that Zoe heard what lunox said
Another problem added, shit. How will she react to all these ” shut it lunox, I told you am not marrying you, get that in you skull” I exhale ” get out of my house” was all I said before climbing the stairs
” you can’t keep hiding Ares, you’re born for killing then death just like your useless father!!” I turn around, rage already in my eyes
” Evelyn ” I growl the whole house shake twice ” I won’t repeat myself ” fear flow into their body, the guards flee but lunox and Evelyn remain standing there
” I made you and you will respect…..” Before she could continue her sentence am already lifting her up and adding pressure to her ne-ck, she throw her hands and legs signifying that she can die any minute from now
Throwing her out of my house I exhale, about doing the same to lunox but something stopped me, Zoe hands wrap around my wai-st ” please stop” she has been crying
