EPISODE 17
everything was shocked that the young man could fly, Brian too was shocked but not entirely..
JOJO
wow…. that’s super cool.
YOUNG MAN
why are you so rude young lady? you gonna hurt yourself if you keep up like this.
IRIS
who are you? how are you up in the sky?
MELODY
please help us…. with the way things are going I’m sure I can’t come back to life…. but you can save my son.
BRIAN
who are you?
YOUNG MAN
I’m Oscar…. I’m the protector of this F
forest.
MICHAEL
pro….what?
BRIAN
oh I see…..that’s how you got to see us, and……
ARIA
(Cuts in)
if you are the protector of this Forest why did you not kill thsoe evil men that v
violated here and dumb an innocent body here?
OSCAR
what should I have done? rain down fire on them like your friend here did?… we spirit don’t think or reason like you humans…. and that’s why you guys are always in bigger problems.
MELODY
arguing will do us no good, so please help me look for my son.
OSCAR
(he shook his head)
it’s a pity you had to face such fate…. but I’m sorry I can’t help you….. I can only tell you one thing for sure.
MELODY
(Her eyes light up in excitement)
I was able to preserve your body, because I knew you people were gonna come
He closed his hands and opened it back, a gray ray of shimy light came out from fromhis hand, he pointed it towards a bush path and it became open.
Melody’s body was lying on a wooden bed he had made with a tree, there was shiny light all over it…. she was looking beautiful.
Everyone was shocked, this few days have been crazy for them, just this few days they have seen things they never thought existed.
MICHAEL
Shut the front door
(he said with his mouth slightly opened)
OSCAR
I could have killed those men with a blink of an eye…..but it’s not in my policy to kill….i have never killed before.
BRIAN
we really appreciate this help…. we will be on our way now.
JOJO
please why were you asking us for money in the first place?
OSCAR
(he laughed)
I was just being Oscar.
ARIA
(she smiled)

Brian walked into the space Melody’s body laid and carried her bridal style, he turn to look at everyone and gave them that look that says ” are you coming or I should just leave you guys”?
they un-derstood his looks and ran to hold him and he disappeared with them….. leaving just Oscar and melody hehind.
MELODY
(Crying)
you are the reason my husband wouldn’t run mad, you are the reason why my poor son wouldn’t be motherless….. thank you so much.
She moved back a little and gave him three bows in appreciation.
she lifted up her head after the last one and hu-gged Oscar
MELODY
I might not remember you after I get into my body….. but I promise that my soul will never forget the man who saved my life.
OSCAR
(he smiled)

He disappeared from her presence, she bow her head for the last time before she disappeared too.
At Mrs melissa’s house Brian appeared with everyone, he gently laid Melody on the bed and step away from her.
IRIS
what now?
BRIAN
it’s left for you….. I think I have done my part ….. I do not have the power to bring her back but you all do.
ARIA
how do you mean?
BRIAN
(He disappear and appeared with a book)
this is the book of witches…. whatever you nee-d is in this book
Iris collected the book and opened it but she couldn’t read what was written inside
IRIS
this is ru-bbish…. you expect us to read this? it’s not even written in English.
BRIAN
it’s an ancient language…. I can not read it too but one among you all can.
Iris angrily dropped the book on the table, Michael picked it up but couldn’t read it too, JoJo did the same too but him too couldn’t read anything written in the book.
so he kept the book down, Aria didn’t even border to carry the book because she thought she’s always behind and if you till now she couldn’t see the ghost everyone was talking to and helping….. there was no way she would be able to read what her friends couldn’t read.
everybody turn to look at her, but she ignored them but when the gaze became too much she spoke out.
ARIA
what? why are you all staring at me like that!
MICHAEL
didn’t you hear what he said? he said that one among the four of us can read it…..its obvious you are the person….so pick up the book.
ARIA
(She chuckled)
it can’t be me….I mean how can it be me?
Melody appeared, she was seriously nervous and hoping it would work.
IRIS
Just give it a trial Aria.
Aria looked at everyone’s face and then the book, she hesitated before she picked it… she opened to the first chapter and she started to read it without even knowing it
ARIA
“to use this book, you must accept your powers andit’s powers”
she read out but that wasn’t what they nee-ded, Brian collected the book from her hand and kept on the table.
BRIAN
this book can only work for you four so I can’t use it…. but I’m going to tell you what you will do.
ARIA
alright…..so what should we do?
BRIAN
everything you nee-d and which to learn is in this book, all you have to do is ask and the chapter will be opened to you.
MICHAEL
show us how to resurrect a dead person.
Immediately Michael said that, the pages started to fli-p quickly till it got to the chapter and it stopped.
they all turn to look at each other in amazement.
JOJO
wow….. this is so cool
ARIA
(She hit his shoulder softly)
you can say that again.
BRIAN
go ahead and read what it says
(he said looking at Aria)
immediately Aria picked the book and started to read it.
Brian knew everything Aria mentioned in the book sounded so strange to them, so he went into Mrs Melissa’s secret room and started to bring all the things that were nee-d to do the ritual.
Iris didn’t trust Brian so she followed him while the rest of them waited in Iris’s room.
BRIAN
you must really be feeling insecure
IRIS
you can say whatever you want…. for all I know you are just a random guy that we do not know
BRIAN
(He smiled)
if you continue like this, you are going to get yourself killed…. what if Oscar was a bad spirit? he would have killed you…. you don’t nee-d to be so rude and mannerless before the world realize you are mourning your late gramma.
IRIS
(Her eyes were teary but she stayed strong)
don’t talk like you know me…. you have no idea what I’m pas-sing throu-gh.
BRIAN
I might not but your friends do…. if you continue this way you will end up pushing them out of your life….. and right now you all nee-d each other.
He told her and picked all the things he nee-ded and left the room….. Iris tears dropped and she quickly cleaned it up….and join them in the other room.

EPISODE 18
Brian took all the necessary things they nee-d for the ritual to the other room.
Immediately he entered they all those up on their feet waiting for his next instructions.
He dropped everything on the floor and pas-sed JoJo and Michael some chalks.
BRIAN
draw that symbol you see in the witch book.
MICHAEL
but I don’t know how to drew
BRIAN
it’s high time you start believing in what you are capable of doing…..the better for you…. now drew.
Without wasting of time, JoJo set to it and Michael joined him…. not long Iris came in too
she went to stand beside Melody’s ghost watching what was happening around.
After a while Michael and JoJo finish drawing the circle.
MICHAEL
what now?
BRIAN
Aria are you done pounding the substance I gave you?
ARIA
almost done with it
BRIAN
make it quick.
She hurriedly finished it up and handed it over to Brian and he poured it on the symbol Michael and JoJo on the ground.
He switched off the whole light making everywhere to be so dark.
He snapped his fingers and all the candle he arranged surrending the circle lights up.
BRIAN
carry her dead body and keep in the circle
He said not mentioning anybody’s name but Michael and JoJo lifted Melody’s body and put it in the circle.
immediately they carried Melody’s body she knew the hour she has been waiting for has finally come.
MELODY
I might not remember you guys after everything is over…..so I want…..
BRIAN
(cuts in)
of course you will remember us…. but if you ever breathe a word of what has happened to anyone you will wish you remain dead.
(he warned her strongly)
that brou-ght an awkward silent in the room, no one has ever seen Brian mean side, they didn’t even know he had one.
BRIAN
we may proceed now.
He told Aria to carry the witch book and read out the incantation spell in it out.
she took the with her shaking hands, and started to read it.
Brian left the circle and asked them to stand in the circle, it was their job not his, he was oy helping them…. his job is to protect the blessed ones not help outisde…. his part was done so he moved aside.
they all stepped in the circle holding each other hands while they all recite the spell in chrous.
After a while Melody felt her spirit trying to attached to her body, the breeze that started to blow was to powerful that Brian had to grab something strong so the breeze won’t blow him away.
The blessed ones kept reciting the incantation till Melody’s spirit was joined to her body and she opened her eyes.
immediately the breeze stopped and they all went flying to the ground….. Brian rushed to them one by one checking if they were okay.
Iris hurt her arm when she fell to the ground, Michael broke his ankle….. while Aria had blood gushing out from her nose.
He first of all healed Aria who was losing so much blood, before he went ahead to heal the rest.
BRIAN
I told you, you guys ain’t ready…. you haven’t gone throu-ghthe basic of your abilities yet and you are already bringing someone to life…. one of you could have died tonight.
IRIS
did it work? did she survive it?
(she asked holding her head)
BRIAN
you can see for yourself.
(he said moving out of the way so they could see Melody.)
Iris ran to where Melody laid and tou-ched her, she smiled at her
MELODY
thank you
(she said crying)
ARIA
(She signed and cried too)
oh my God, it’s worked.
JOJO
now let’s go kick that m*th*rfuc-ker who calls himself your father in-law.
he gave Melody his hand and she took it,
immediately a shiny light appeared and elder Charity came out of the portal.
Brian knew he was in a big problem immediately he saw her…. elder Charity never comes out unless a white lighter has broken the rules and he just broke the rules.
BRIAN
Hi, it’s a surprise to see you…..
(he pretended like he didn’t know)
elder charity walked around looking at the whole room, then she stood in front of Melody looking at her intensely.
ELDER CHARITY
you put your life on the line because of this person? someone you don’t know?
BRIAN
I can explain
ELDER CHARITY
I bet you do…. how could you have broken the rules Brian?
JOJO
excuse me ma, we do not know you and if you don’t mind….
he was saying but elder charity mute him, she has the ability to mute people from talking.
that got the rest scared because they never knew such powers existed.
BRIAN
let him go charity, he has nothing to do with this
ELDER CHARITY
You should know that non of your mother’s are bold enough to stand in front of me and speak.
IRIS
what’s our offense? for trying to help someone who didn’t deserve to die?
ELDER CHARITY
(she chuckled)
and who deserves to die? if you go about breaking the rules and obstructing the timeline because you feel someone didn’t deserve to die…..then you are indirectly saying the maker who created life and dead didn’t know what he did.
IRIS
I beg your pardon ma’ma…. that’s not my point
ELDER CHARITY
And what’s your point? this lady was destined to die….. but you obstructed the timeline by bringing her back to life….
ARIA
if we obstructed the timeline why should he be the only one to be punish? we pushed him into accepting to bring her back to life.
MICHAEL
this is on us….. he can’t take the fall for our stubbornness.
ELDER CHARITY
his your white lighter, his supposed to guide you…… not put you in danger.
IRIS
in what way did he put us in danger? ain’t we the chosen ones? ain’t our powers activated?
ELDER CHARITY
I’m not here to answer all your questions…. he knows the rules and he broke it…. he must pay with his life.
She drew out her sword to slay him but Aria ran to hold her leg
ARIA
please….don’t kill him, give him another punishment….. but not this….
(she begged crying)
She tried to free herself but Aria held her strongly…. elder charity tried to free herself but Aria wouldn’t let go.
She pulled her to of her fingers and hit Aria on the forehead which immediately made her fall asleep.
Michael and Iris with JoJo ran to stand in front of Brian over their dead body would they seat and watch an innocent man get killed for their own mistake…. what kind of human would they be if the save another at the risk of their own protector?
Melody too came out and stood in front of elder charity.
MELODY
all this is happening because of me…. would everything go back to normal if I just die again?
ELDER CHARITY
(She chuckled)
you are willing to sacrifice your life again? I mean you just woke up….what happens to your son then?
MELODY
of course I want to see my son again, he with my husband and end my wicked father in-law…. but how can I live with myself knowing someone died because he brou-ght me back to my family? his someone’s son too, someone’s family…who would also he waiting for their son to come back home a the end of the day….how can I ever live with that?
she walked back to the circle and laid on it
MELODY
this is where it all began, you can separate my soul from my body now.
Elder charity immediately received a signal call from the afterlife asking her to let Brian go….. for the first time in a very long time a human has proven to be considerate and not selfish.
ELDER CHARITY
(She pull back her sword)
you have proven to be worthy of the second life you have been given…. I have been ask to pardon you
(she said looking at Brian)
she went back into the portal and it closed back.
Brian immediately ran to Aria and tou-ched her head making her to wake up from the sleep elder charity put her.
she opened her eyes slowly and saw Brian looking down at her, she couldn’t control her happiness….she hu-gged him excitedly and started to cry.
Elder charity came out from the portal again and made everyone scared.
she saw the looks on their faces and giggles
ELDER CHARITY

she said unmute JoJoe before she waved at them and went back into the Portal…. they signed and sat down looking very tired and worked up.
