they went back home on Thursday , Damon dropped Daisy at her place and decided to see Ariel .
“welcome back ma’am” Laura said and Daisy nodded .
“where’s Ariel?” She asked .
“Ariel your mommy is back ” Laura yelled and Ariel ran down as soon as she heard that .
“she didn’t go to school?” Daisy asked surprisedly.
“she was feeling sick ” Laura replied
she ran into Damon’s arms, not minding if Daisy was there .
“I miss you ” she said .
“I miss you and you smell so good ” Damon replied and kissed her cheek.
“did you buy something for me ?” Ariel asked .
“I will never miss something like that ” Damon replied with a smile .
“I’m standing here ” Daisy said .
“I know mommy, but wait ” Ariel replied and Damon and Laura laughed .
“is she really sick ?” Daisy asked Laura and she nodded
“she’s not ” Daisy muttered.
Laura went upstairs to keep Daisy’s bag .
“what did you get for me ?” Ariel asked .
“guess ” he said and she put her finger on her cheek , trying to think.
“tell me ” she said when she wasn’t able to think about any
“just guess okay ” Damon said looking at her .
“How can she not remember about that night” he thought and looked at Daisy.
“I think it’s someone else and not her” his inner self said .
“I’m 101% sure she’s is the one ” he muttered.
“huh ?” Daisy asked .
“nothing” he replied.
“don’t you think we have a similar smile ?” Damon asked .
“who ?” Daisy asked .
“Ariel and I ” he replied still not taking his eyes off her .
“in your dream” Daisy replied.
“yes we do , we even got same nose ” Ariel replied.
“high five” Damon said and they clocked hands together
“it’s okay if you don’t want to give mommy a hug , I’m traveling again tomorrow”she said .
“no mommy” Ariel said and started crying.
“come here , I’m just joking so stop crying” she said and carried her in her arms.
“I miss you Mommy” Ariel said and sniffed in .
“mommy miss you sooooooo much ” Daisy replied.
“see you tommorow, I have to go now ” Damon said .
“are you gonna come here tomorrow?” Ariel asked .
“no , but don’t worry we will go on a date on Saturday” Damon said .
“date ?” Ariel asked
“yes , just the both of us like father and daughter’s date ” he replied.
“yeahhh!!!!!! . pinky promise?” she said , bringing out her finger .
“yes Pinky promise” he replied with a smile and made a pinky promise.
“here” he said and handed the gift to her .
she opened it and it was a necklace with a butterfly pendant.
“wow , it’s beautiful” Ariel said .
he took it out and put it around her neck .
“thank you” she said with her tiny voice.
“here ” he said and also gave Daisy something.
“what’s is it ?” she asked .
“open it when I’m gone and wear it if you like it ” he replied
“come closer” Ariel whispered and Damon squated in front of her .
“I love you ” she said and kissed his cheek
“I love you too , bye ” he said and went out.
“he didn’t even say a goodbye to me ” Daisy thought.
“stop acting nice towards me, be the rude and mean Damon you were before ,I don’t wanna get attached to this side of you ” she remembered
“why did I even say that ” she thought and hit her head .
“mommy are you okay ?” Ariel asked .
“yes I’m fine ” she replied.
“I love the gift so much ” Ariel said and started jumping all around.
“Ariel be careful so you won’t fall ” she said .
“mommy have to shower now , let’s go momma also got you something” she said .
they both went upstairs, with Ariel singing happily.
Daisy kept the gift in her bag thinking of the right time to open it .
she received a message on her phone which says
“WELCOME BACK , I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU ”
she looked at Ariel and fear gripped her heart .
mommy are you okay ?” Ariel asked .
“yes I’m fine sweetheart” she replied and covered it up with a smile .

“hey Cherry” Rudy called .
“where are you going ?” Lena
“library” Cherry replied and held Leo’s hand .
Lena looked at Leo and he smiled at her.
“wanna join us ?” Cherry asked .
“yeah let’s go ” she replied and they all went to the library.
while others were studying , Cherry and Leo was busy with something else.
“why are you two not reading?” Clark asked .
“none of your business” cherry replied.
soon Clark and Lena was playing lovey_dovey which got Leo’s attention.
Rudy looked at him and smile knowing fully well of how jealous he was.
“listen to this ” Lena said and held Clark ear.
“it’s hurt ” Clark said .
“listen to me now , because I’m not gonna explain it twice” she said .
“yes ma’am” Clark replied and kissed her cheek.
“don’t do that ” Lena said and looked away , blushing.
she looked at Leo and he looked away .
Leo got fed up of them and walked out angrily.
“see you guys later ” Cherry said and also followed him .
Leo got to the school garden and sat down on the bench.
“I know you like her ” Cherry said and joined him .
“What are you talking about?” he asked
“it’s written all over your face , she’s just too dumb to understand” she replied.
“don’t insult her ” he warned.
“I also like you ,no I love you ” she said sadly.
“I don’t” he replied shortly.
“I know you don’t wanna ruin your Friendship with her and Clark also, doesn’t that make us even ” she said .
“what do you mean ?” he asked
“Clark is waiting for her reply. he confessed his love to her and he’s waiting for her reply” she replied.
“that’s a lie , Lena never hide something from me ” he replied.
“I guess she will think you’re not gonna approve it , bacause you’re always arguing with Clark .
“I’m not gonna believe that ” he replied and scoffed.
“okay then , watch her give her reply to my brother and you won’t be able to do anything about it” she said .
he didn’t say anything and just looked away sadly.
they were both like that for what seems like forever without saying anything.
Lena came looking for them and as soon as the school bell was rang
Leo saw her first and quickly pulled Cherry in for a hug.
after the hug , he smiled and kissed her on the lips deeply for Lena to see .
she stood there with her two legs numb, staring at them .
she walked away when she couldn’t hold it anymore.
“why I’m I hurt seeing that ” she said trying not to cry , but she just couldn’t.
she let the tears flow down as long as they want to and walked to the rooftop with a heavy heart .
