Scarlett stared at him then at his hand on her cheek. She frowned as anger slowly boiled in her…
“How dare you touch me?!” Scarlett yelled and raised her hand to her cheek.
Raymond caught her hand midair and pulled her closer to him, staring de-ep into her eyes.
“You’re really stubborn aren’t you? Thought I warned you not to raise your hands on me” Raymond said..
Scarlett snatched her hand from him and pushed him away before leaving. She entered her car and drove off heading to the gate.
Raymond dipped his hands in his pocket as he watched her leave. A sm-irk slowly crept up his li-ps.
“Let’s see how that birthday pa-rty will go..” Raymond said and continued what he was doing.

Ethan walked out of the supermarket while pressing his phone with a wrapped gift on the other hand.
Suddenly someone hu-gged his arm. He furrowed his brows when he saw it was a cute girl, one of his chícks.
“Ethan?” She smiled and winked at him.
“Oh….you” Ethan smiled, to be honest he doesn’t even know the name of this girl. They’re just too many.
“Mind if we have dinner together? Yunno..you, me..” She paused and leaned to his ears.
“And the bed.” She whispered seductively.
Ethan smi-rked and looked at her.
“Sure!, but not today. My best friend’s sister’s birthday is today and I want to be there” Ethan said.
“Tomorrow then?” Ethan said..
“I won’t miss it for anything” He whispered to her and she chuckled.
The door to the supermarket opened and Phoebe walked out with a basket of groceries in her hand.
“I’ll text you later, bye!” Ethan winked and left her.
“Gosh!, he’s so hot and cool… I wish there was more than that to our relationship” The girl gushed.
“Hey! Hey! Se-xy !” Ethan called walking behind Phoebe.
He caught her arm and she winced before facing him. That made Ethan furrow his brows..
“What’s wrong?” Ethan said and pulled up her sleeves. His frown dee-pened when he saw bruises on it.
“What happened?”
Phoebe slapped his hand off her body and pulled back down her sleeves.
“Who gave you the permission to touch me?” Phoebe glared at him.
“I just saw..”
“Stop talking to me, just let me be!!” Phoebe yelled at him and walked away.
Ethan watched her as she left with a lot of questions running throu-ghhis mind.

The guests clapped for Monica as she walked up stage, looking so pretty and cute.
“Thanks to everyone who came here for my birthday. Thanks to my friends and family who showed me how much they love and care for me throu-ghtheir gifts and wishes, I really appreciate you all.” Monica smiled…
They clapped for her as she went down. The music began playing and those who were in the mood for dancing were busy dancing.
“Just look at how our little sis is pretty” Scarlett said, sipping from her drink.
“Well its normal, I was the one that did her makeup” Stephanie said
“I designed and made her dress as my present” Scarlett said.
“I wished her happy birthday before you!” Scarlett retorted.
“And here we go…” Arnold sighed while Julia just chuckled.

Donovan’s mansion**
Raymond walked out of the bathroom with a towel round his wa-ist. He quickly sli-pped into one of his shorts before sitting in front of a computer.
“Time to see what’s going on in that family” Raymond said and began pressing the keyboard..
The tiny camera he sli-pped on Scarlett’s dress beeped. Well that was the maid reason why he approached her.
He sat properly as he watched all what was happening at the pa-rty, all the places that Scarlett went to he could see it…

“Happy birthday once more Monica” Ash smiled as she danced with Monica.
“Thanks bro” Monica chuckled.
“Bro?” Ash furrowed his brows.
“Well yeah! You’re like my other big brother” Monica said.
“Okay little sis.. But don’t let Angelo hear it, he might get jealous” Ash said and Monica laughed..
“Your sister is really cute!” Ethan said as they watched Monica and Angelo dance.
“Don’t even think about it…” Angelo gave him a warning look.
Ethan laughed and raised his hand up in defeat.
“Hey guys!!” Melody popped up her head in between them from behind.
“Mel, what’s up?” Ethan smiled.
“What you doing here?” Angelo said.
“Monica invited us” Melody said.
“Us?” Angelo said.
“I and Phoebe” Melody said, coming to sit in between them.
“Where’s she?” Ethan asked
“She… She isn’t the kind of girl that loves pa-rtying” Melody said.
“Oh….” Was all Ethan could say.
Angelo looked at Melody but when she looked at him, he quickly looked away. Ethan smi-rked and stood..
“If you nee-d me, I’ll be there with that girl” Ethan winked and left.
Angelo cleared his throat as he looked away. Melody was busy humming the music which was playing while looking around.
“Hey!” She said. Angelo turned to her.
“Still won’t sing for me?” Melody said.
Angelo Gr0-ned..
“I said no alright? Stop pestering me!” Angelo Gr0-ned.
“But why?” Melody asked.
“For the thousandth time, I don’t want to talk about it” Angelo said.
“C’mon…” Melody placed her head on his shoulder and pouted.
Angelo stared at her for a while and closed his eyes before looking away.
Melody cu-pp-ed his cheek and turned him to her, their face was so close to each other..
“Please….” Melody grinned innocently…
Angelo stared at her face..
“Is she doing it on purpose?” Angelo thought.
He removed her hand from his cheek and looked away.
“You’re so boring…” Melody frowned and crossed her arms.

“Can I have this dance?” Skye said.
Monica smiled and nodded then looked at Ursula and Ash.
“I’ll be back guys!” Monica said and stood.
Ursula stared at her and Skye as they walked to the dance floor.
“If you love him, why don’t tell him?” Ash said.
Ursula looked at him. He shrugged and took a sip from his drink.
Skye held Monica’s wa-ist and she held his shoulder. They began swaying to the rhythm of the music.
“Do you like my gift?” Skye asked.
“Of course! Look I’m even wearing it..” Monica showed him the br@celet on her wrist.
? They look so good together.
? Do you see the look in his eyes?
“You look beautiful tonight” Skye said.
“Thanks Skye” Monica smiled cutely.
Skye brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear. That made Monica look up at him.
“Look Monica, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a very long time” Skye said.
“Yes…”
“Monica look, from the very first time I set my eyes on you… I became mesmerized” Skye said.
He cu-pp-ed her cheek and leaned in slowly. Monica’s eyes wide-ned as he came closer.
“I love you Monica..”
He brushed his nose against hers. Monica slowly closed her eyes when she felt his li-ps just few inches away from hers. She held onto her dress ti-ghtly.
As Skye was about to the gap between them.
“Monica?”
Skye paused when he heard Monica’s name. Monica’s eyes flew open and she looked at who called her.
Surprise could be seen on her face at who she saw.

Surprise could be seen on her face at who she saw.
“You?!” Monica exclaimed.
Skye looked back to see who interrupted them. His eyes locked with that of a guy.
Same height as him, white sp-otless face, pink small li-ps with dark hair… He looked really handsome and cute.
Beside him was Tara. She hu-gged his right arm while glaring at Monica.
“What are you two doing here? I didn’t invite any of you two?” Monica pushed Skye aside, coming to stand in front them. She glared back at Tara..
“Nice way of welcoming me” He smiled, showing off his dimples.
? Who’s he?
? He’s…gosh!!
? Just one night with him will do. He’s so Fu-cking cute and hot!!
“You two aren’t welcomed, leave!!” Monica pointed the exit..
“Stop barking will you” Tara rolled her eyes.
“I didn’t talk to you so you better shut up!!” Monica said, coming closer to Tara.
Skye held her back by the arm. Tara scoffed and hu-gged the guy’s arm ti-ghter, smiling sheepishly.
The guy stylishly removed his hand from Tara’s grip and walked closer to Monica, bending to her level.
“I didn’t come for you shorty… I came for them” He smiled and turned to Monica’s family.
“OMG!! Jackson is that you? Gosh!, you’re now taller than me. Just look at how handsome you’ve become” Scarlett said, coming front.
“Scary Scarlett” Jackson smiled.
They hu-gged each other ti-ghtly. They broke the hu-g and he hu-gged Stephanie.
“Kiddo” Angelo smiled as they bumped fists.
“Senior Angie” Jackson smiled.
“Jack…”
“Okay, I’ll stop calling you Angie” Jackson laughed.
Monica glared at him with folded fists. She suddenly stormed upstairs.
“Monica!” Skye called, going behind her.
Tara folded her arms un-der her che-st and smi-rked.

“Monica?” Skye called when he saw Monica sitting on the floor of the hallway.
He came and sat down beside her.
“Moni, what’s wrong? Who’s he?” Skye tou-ched her shoulder.
“His name is Jackson.” Monica said sadly.
“Jackson? Is he related to the reason why you anf Tara hàte each other this much?” Skye asked and Monica nodded
“Jackson, Ash, Tara and I we used to be the best of friends. We grew up together and did practically everything together the four of us. Sadly, Ash’s family had a three years trip to Dubai so they left with Ash. I and Tara we were 11 by then so it was just the three of us… Jackson’s family and mine were closer so we spent more time together than with Tara. Two years went down and Tara kinda developed this hu-ge crush on Jackson and seeing him and I together, jealousy slowly settled in in her heart. She began being mean at me and honestly that hurt.. On the day of my 14th birthday I invited all of my friends and I was so happy that Ash was back. Little did I know that she plotted something on my back.”
“Tara suddenly got missing on the day of my birthday. We searched for her everywhere in the house till my room. Jackson went to search in the bathroom and that’s where he saw her. She was lying on the floor, blood coming out of her head. They all accused me that I was the one who did that her. Jackson was so furious that he even slapped me and said hurtful things to me, that I tried to kîll Tara because i was jealous of her.. When Tara woke up, she was so angry at me that she poured pepper on me.. Everyone was so mad at me, even my family. It took months before they could forgive me for something I did not do. I broke ties with Jackson and Tara.” Monica said.
Skye sighed loudly…
“That was really intense…” Skye muttered.
“Believe me, I didn’t do that to Tara. I’m innocent” Monica said, fighting back her tears.
Skye hu-gged her and kizzed her forehead.
“I believe you Monica..” Skye said.
Monica hu-gged him back.
“Thanks”
“Tell me, why must they ruin my birthdays. They ruined my 14th birthday and now they ruined my 17th” Monica muttered.
Skye just stro-ke her hair…

Donovan’s mansion**
Raymond came out of his room, dressed for work already. Scarlett didn’t come back and honestly, he cared less.
He walked downstairs de-ep in thoughts. The camera he placed on her was completely uséless.
“No one I saw from that camera looked suspicious. That means the only person who knows are Julia and Arnold” He thought as he entered the dining room..
“I nee-d to get more closer than I am to Arnold but how?” Raymond thought..
“Good appetite boss” The maid said once she finished serving his breakfast.
“I only see two options and honestly, I don’t like both of them…” He frowned.
His phone suddenly began ringing. He brou-ght it out to see it was Lucy.
“Yeah”
“Grandma will soon arrive and she said she’ll be staying with you” Lucy said.
“Sh*t! Why me?” Raymond sighed.
“Your luck!” Lucy chuckled..
“Anyways, I called to also inform you that a group of drug syndicate from Columbia just landed…” Lucy said.
“You’ll lead this time around, I have another mission to do” Raymond said
“Alright boss. Don’t forget that today is the fashion runaway show of your sweet wife” Lucy smi-rked.
Raymond rolled his eyes and hung up. He kept his phone aside and decided to face his food.

“Moni…Moni!” Scarlett tapped Monica’s cheek. She slept with her
Monica slowly opened her eyes and yawned loudly. She ru-bbed her eyes while pouting.
“Good morning sis” She muttered.
“Morning cutie. Come, let’s go get ready. Today is a big day remember?” Scarlett smiled.
“Oh the runaway show! Can’t wait, I’m gonna crush that Tara” Monica said, the sleep had already cleared off her eyes.
“Speaking of Tara.. I’m sorry about yesterday, your pa-rty got ruined.” Scarlett said.
“It’s fine, it was perfect in the beginning. Beside I’m used to it”
Scarlett already knew what she was referring to. She made to speak but Monica quickly stood up from the bed.
“When will the runaway show start” Monica asked.
“By 7pm but we nee-d to get you ready since you haven’t modeled before.” Scarlett said.
“Okay, that means I’ll skip school today.” Monica said.
“Yeah and Monica I wanted to give you my second birthday gift yesterday but you were already asleep…” Scarlett said.
She handed a note to Monica. She read and her eyes immediately grew wide.
“You enrolled me as model un-der the biggest modeling institute in town?!” Monica exclaimed.
“Well yeah, I know it’s been your dream. Since you’re still a minor, I can be your guardian” Scarlett smiled.
“Like…gosh!!” Monica hu-gged Scarlett ti-ghtly.
“Thanks so much sis. I love you”
Scarlett smiled.
“I love you too baby. Now let’s get ready… Today is a long and hectic day for us” Scarlett said.
Monica broke the hu-g and made to go have her bath.
“Uhm Moni,, I’m sorry to say it but the reason why Jackson is here is because he’s going to be our male model for this show” Scarlett said.
“What?!” Monica swiftly turned back.

The bell rung, signalling the end of the first cl@$$. Angelo and Ethan with Avery went to the libr@ry to read.
“How i hàte this stuff called reading” Ethan Gr0-ned.
“If you wanna leave this school then you gat no choice” Avery smiled.
She looked at Angelo and saw her wasn’t even with them but rather on his phone.
“Angelo, what-”
“I’ll be back, nee-d to place a phone call” Angelo said and walked out of the libr@ry.
He dialed Monica’s number…
“Finally someone is awake after snoring like a go.at” Angelo smi-rked.
“Hahaha really funny” Monica said sarcastically.
“Just wanna wish my stüpíd sis goodluck coz i don’t think I’ll attend it” Angelo said.
“Thanks f*ōl” Monica chuckled.
He hung up and smiled then made to go back in but stopped when he saw Melody coming. She wasn’t looking where she was going so she tripped.
“Watch out Me-” Angelo said rushing to her.
Before he could reach where she was, Andrew was fas-ter. He caught her by the wa-ist and Melody’s face landed on his che-st.
“Thanks,,, Andrew” Melody smiled.
Angelo scoffed and entered back the school’s libr@ry.
