I walked up to the rooftop and looked around for the lady. By the description my aunt gave me she must be the one in Red Cross grown.
“Hi I’m Alexis your so called blind date” I said and she offered me a seat.

“The way you sound, it seems you don’t like the blind date idea, I’m Ester by the way”she said and I smi-rked.
“Nice meeting you Ester, I’m not really into the blind date thing” I said and she smiled.
“If you aren’t into blind dates then why did you come here? “she asked and I smi-rked.
“I came here to satisfy my aunt and also maybe tell you that I’m not interested in ours getting together” I said and she chuckled.
“Actually I want to tell you this so you can tell my aunt. Ask her to stop sitting blind dates for me, tell her I already have a girlfriend and I won’t fall for any of the girls she sends on a blind date for me” I said and she laughed.
“Why are you laughing? ,what’s funny?” I asked and she chuckled.
“Just by your words I can run off my seat, you didn’t even let me talk” she said and I nodded.
“If you have something to tell me, you can tell me now and be very fast my girlfriend is waiting for me” I said and she nodded.
“First of all, I’m not here on a blind date with you, I’m just here to check on you’ she said and I looked confused.
Check on me?, what do you really mean? I asked and she brou-ght her face closer.
“You told your aunt about having a girlfriend right? “she asked and I nodded.
“Yes I did, how did you get to know about it?” I asked and she breath out.
“I’m just here un-der your aunts instruction to check on you” she said and I nodded.
Miss what do you mean by that? I asked as she kept beating rounding the bush.
“I’m not here to have a blind date with you but to check if you really have a girlfriend and from my point of view you do have a girlfriend” she said and my mouth drop.
“Really? How did you know I have a girlfriend without meeting her? “I asked and she smiled.
“Before I came up here I had seen you having dinner with some people down the restaurant and I believe that was your girlfriend you lastly spoke with before coming up here to meet with me” she said and I looked at her amazed.
“So you saw all that?” I asked and she nodded.
“My a-ssignment is done, I’m leaving. Tell you girlfriend to stop hiding over there and come out. Nice meeting you she said and wave her hand forward.
I turned and look around to see if Jessica was present there. “Nice meeting you, you do have a nice eye view, I’ll send you off” I offered.
“No thanks, enjoy your date” she said and walk away from me. I pretend not to have seen Jessica and sat me back down peacefully.
“How did it go? didn’t you say you will come down after you were done” Jessica asked approaching me after a few minutes of her waitng and I didn’t move.
“Yeah I did. what brou-ght you up here, are you feeling insecure or where you were afraid of what will happen?.so you decided to come and have a look? ‘I asked and she nodded.
“it’s all Felicia’s fault” she said and I smi-rked.
“What did she do? ” I asked and she buffed.
“I told her everything and she convinced me to come have a look. Don’t get me wrong I was just kidda scared of how the lady looked like” she said and I chuckled.
“Okay since you are here, let’s make this an official date. Order any meal on the menu” I said and she nodded.
“What about the others? they will all look for ours” she said and I smiled.
“Don’t worry about them, they are having fun, let have our time alone” I said and she nodded.
“After we are done eaten let’s go to the amusement park and play okay” I said and she nodded.
“I’ll love to go there, especially now that it’s with you” she said smiling at me and I smiled at her back.
??JESSICA’S POV ??
#three_weeks_later.
“The bride will soon be here” they announced at the church and everyone was busy pairing their self up to enter the church.
“Where has that Alexis of a boyfriend gone too? “I asked looking around.
“Jessica where is Alexis, he is need at the front church? “Monica asked while walking with Jane.
“I don’t know. I’m also looking for him” I said and they nodded.
“If you see tell him, please let him know he is needed at the entrance” she said and I nodded.
“Where cloud he have gone to at a time like this?” I asked myself looking around.
“Is someone looking for me? “he asked standing behind me.
“Where have you be?,I’ve been looking all over for you” I yelled and he smiled.
“I just went to get this flower, every man here dress in suit has it but I don’t so I decided to go get mine” he said and I nodded.
“So you decided to go pick only the yellow colored flower, everyone here has a red flower not a yellow flower” I said and he smi-rked.
“It’s your favourite colour, that’s why I choose to have this one my suit, so it will look different and special from every other person’s own” he said and I chuckled.
“Your presence is needed up there go on” I said and he smiled.
“Can’t I get a kis-s before I go? “he asked and quickly gave him a pek.
“Go on now” I said and he smiled.
“That isn’t enough I said a kis-s” he said but I pushed him to go fast.
“You owe me a kis-s” he said and walk away from me.
Guests started entering the church in order and I walked and fell in line with them while waiting for Alexis to join me.
He later joint me and we both hold hands walking slowly into the church.
“This is how we are going to walk into the church on our own wedding day’ he said and I nodded.
“Cloud you keep quite we are both entering the church and people are taking pictures of ours” I said and he nodded smilingly.
We both walked in and sat on our prospectives seats and others also followed into the church.
“Did you know I never knew Mary was dating until today I saw her and her boyfriend here” he whispered into my ears and I kept quiet.
“The bride is here” an announcement was made and everyone focus their attention on the door even my brother who was the groom.
The door opened and she walked in gentle and very slowly. Cla-ssic music was being played while she walked to her groom with her mother and father.
“Do you really think it is necessary for someone to cry at this moment?” Alexis whisperes again into my ears and I breath out tired of hearing his voice.
She was handed to Daniel by her dad and they both faced the alter, made their vows and the Revd ended everything.

“You may now kis-s the bride” he said and Daniel drown her closer, removed her veil gentle, kis-sed her in front of everyone and we all clapped at the view of it.
As the old saying goes “another one ” that’s how many people shouted and they kis-sed again.
“Jessica remember you still owe me a kis-s” Alexis Said and I walked away from him as the bride and groom made their way to the outside church.
We all took a lot of pictures and processed to the main evening party where the guest where entertained.
Felicia had her first dance with my big brother Collins and Later with Daniel.
Alexis introduced me to her aunt and she likes me. Monica and Jane also took the initiate to go for a dance.
“Care for a dance?” Alexis asked and I just stared at him blus-hing.
“May I have this dance my lady? “he asked again and this time I took his hand.
We both dance ti the music and later ate, drank, played around.
“Follow me its almost time” he said holding my hands and running up the building.
“Where are you taking me? I can’t run fast, Alexis stopped” I said but he ran with me right up to the rooftop.
“Why did you bring me here?” I asked breathing tiredly.
“Wait for it, Wait for it” he said looking at the sky and I looked up to see what he was looking at.
Suddenly fire works displayed in the sky sparkling and blueing.
“Wow the view here is so beautiful” I said and moved more closer and amazed.
“That’s why I save the best sp-ot for us” he said and I looked at him as he looked at the fire works displaying.
“I love you Alexis” I said and he looked down on me. I kis-sed him immediately he brou-ght his head down.
“You cheated me Jessica, that was a surprise kis-s I want a de-eper kis-s” he said with a soft voice and I chuckled.
He kis-sed me pa-ssionately and we both stay like that for over minutes with the fireworks still displaying.
“Someday is going to be me and you getting married” he said and I chuckled.
“Are you proposing to me already?” I asked and he nodded.
“kind off, I’m just letting you know” he said and I blus-hed.
“I love you Jessica” he said and I blus-hed.
“I love you too Alexis” I said and hug-ged me ti-ghtly.
“Let’s just seat up here for a while before going back inside” he said and I nodded.
A ma-ssage rang into his phone as we sat holding hands and looking up at the sky.
Jessica guess who just ma-ssage me to send pictures of Felicia’s wedding?
