I sat outside of the studio waiting for Alexis who had gone in to record his music.
I had try my best to hear his new song he will be releasing after his done singing but I couldn’t get a thing coming from inside.
So I sat down and decided to play games as usual, while waiting for him I just kept playing and playing and all of a sudden he opened the door and walk to the couch and sat down tiredly.
I pipe at him and he had closed he’s eyes looking as if he was sleeping. I pause the game to look at him carefully but all of a sudden he opened his eyes.
“What are you looking? “he asked seeing me close to him.
“Nothing” I quickly said and shit from his side back to my current position and resumed my game.
He brou-ght out his phone and his arm was on the couch and the other side supported he’s head.
He Crossed his legs and pressed he’s phone on with his right hand.
?Hello Kaine.
?Hi Alexis.
?I’m will be done with work for today soon? how about you? he asked.
?My boss seems to not want to let me go home as he’s behaving as someone who has been working for over a year without rest” I responded and pipe at him but he was still concentrated on his phone.
“He must be tired, I myself is very tired and I think I need some sleep” he said.
“Then you should get some rest maybe we can talk some other time your health is more important” I texted.
“It’s not as easy as you think. For days now I can’t sleep due to an incident that happen to me I just can’t stop thinking about it” he said.
“What’s it that will get you thinking like mad and won’t let you take care of your own health” I asked.
“I don’t really want to talk about it just want to clear my mind off it so I can get some sleep” he said.
“But how do you intend to sleep when it’s gives you sleepless night” I asked.
“I wish I knew what to do but I can only remember how boring logic cla-ss used to be and it’s cloud make all the student sleep during lectures” he said.
“So have you thought of visiting any near by school and attend their lectures so it’s can help you sleep” I asked.
“I can’t, because I’m popular and I’ll get notice by the students I can just rely on trying to forget about the issue” he said.
“Okay if you say say so, just try to fix the problem bothering you so it’s won’t affect your health and also your music.
“I’ve heard you I’ll text you later. I need to get back to work bye” he said and responded with a good bye.
Immediately he stopped talking he dropped his phone on the table and closed his eyes still maintaining his current position.
“Alexis come, there are some adjustments to be made on the music” the director said as he opened the door and Alexis nodded walking back into the studio room.
I decided to search if there was any university around and I found one. I quickly went out of the company followed my google map still I got there.
I quickly joint a lecturing cla-ss which was currently going on and sat on the first bench.
And to my surprise it was a logic cla-ss, i looked around and some students were already asleep.
I brou-ght out my phone and put it on recording so as not to miss a part of it.
“Logical division is the spliting up of the genus into its constituents species in order words it is the an-alysis of breaking down of the whole into it constituents part” the professor said and kept lecturing as sleep began to fold my eyes then I knew Alexis was right to say a logic cla-ss makes you fall asleep.
I fell asleep as I kept listening to him and by the time I woke up the cla-ss was empty with only me left in it but I had enjoy the sleep of my life.
I slept like a baby who has no aim of waking up at a specific time or didn’t have anything to do other than sleeping.
I checked my phone and stopped the recording and played it, everything he said was recorded.
I rushed back to the company after leaving the cla-ss and as soon as I got in front of the company I quickly rushed in but stopped when I saw Alexis already sited back on that same couch.
“Where did you go to, I’ve been waiting for you for over an hour now? “he asked and I nodded.
“I went to have lunch, since I was very hungry and couldn’t wait for you to get back” I lied and he nodded.
“Okay you can sit we will soon be leaving you didn’t have to go waste your salary on restaurant food” he said and I nodded sm-irking.
“Alexis try this on” I said and he nodded.
“What’s this your giving me?” he asked.
“it’s a Bluetooth, put it on and I’ll play a music I promise you will sleep immediately you listen to this” I said and he nodded.
“And what if I don’t fall asleep? there’s going to be consequences if it doesn’t make me sleep” he said and I nodded.
He collected it from me and placed it on his ears and supported his head with his hand and I played the record.
His eyes instantly close as he listen to the recorded speech. I moved closer to him and smiled at him as he slept.
“He looks so adorable while he sleeps” I said and hit myself with my own hands.
“What I’m I saying I should let him sleep and don’t make him wake up” I said to myself and moved back to my sit.
I brou-ght out my phone and continue to play my game while he slept peaceful on the couch.
He woke up and stretching his body after hours of sleeping. He gro-an as he continued doing that.
“Sarah where did you get this thing from I feel like I’ve slept for a week without waking up” he said and I nodded.
“You can kept it Alexis so anytime you can’t sleep you use it” I said and he nodded smiling.
“Thank you. What’s the time? “he asked picking up his phone.
“It’s almost dark” I said and he looked shock.
“Let’s go home I’m feeling hungry, need to cook something to eat right now” he said and I nodded waking up from my sit and smiling at him.

“I’m not going to sign that contract Monica, you know I’m engaged and you want me to sign a contract that says I’m suppose to be single” I yelled at her.
“I know your engaged but you have to sign this contract. Daniel will un-derstand that it’s part of your job, I’ve already told him you agreed to it” she said and I gro-an angrily.
“Daniel will get mad at me if I signed that contract and beside I can’t lie to the public that I’m still single when I know very well I’m engaged” I said and she nodded.
But you know we really need the money and by the way you have been hiding your relationship for a long time now it wouldn’t course anything of you telling the public your single” she said and I sighed.
“I’m only going to do this just because you told him I agreed already, since it’s only for two months” I said and she smiled.
“Thank you for accepting it, can we go in and meet him he must be waiting for ours after you just rushed me out while we were speaking to him” she said and I nodded.
We walked back into his office and took our sits respectively.
“I’m going to sign this contract knowing that I’m to be a model for your website for just two months” I said and he nodded.
“Thank you for accepting our offer miss Felicia will are looking forward in working with you” he said and we both nodded.
“Thank you also for looking out in bringing this deal to ours” Monica said smiling and stared at her.
“Can we proceed to holding a conference later for the signing of the contract??”he asked and Monica nodded.
“Sure, we will be ready before the conference is set a place” she said and I just kept wandering how Daniel will take this.
“Let’s go Felicia what are you thinking about??”Monica asked drifting me from my thoughts.
“I’m okay let’s go” I said and we both walk out of his office with me not looking happy about signing this contract.
? ? DANIEL’S POV ??
“Daniel what are you looking at that you are glue too and didn’t notice I walked in to your office” James asked and I looked at him.
“it’s nothing” I said trying to hide the ring away from him but he insisted and dragged my hand.
“O MY! A RING” he said and the view of it.
“Are you planing on purposing to Felicia without telling me? “he asked and I collected the box of which the ring was in from him.
“I just thought I could tell you after I’ve done it cos I don’t want you ruining everything for me” I said and he nodded.
“So you think I’m going to ruin everything for you, won’t want to help you instead, is that it” he said with a shaky voice.
“It’s not like that, just wanted to surprise you about it that what I meant” I said and he shoke his head.
“just inform me after you must have done it because I don’t really get what your saying” he said and I nodded.
“One more thing, Good luck with it I can’t wait to hear that your engaged for real” he said and I smiled.
“Your parents really pair you both like they knew you two will like each other when you grow” he said admiring me.
“It’s wasn’t like that when we first meet ourselves you know that right” I said and he nodded taking a sit wanting to listen to my story.
“You know the day she had that accident and was the doctor appointed to take charge of her treatment right” I said and he nodded.
I didn’t let her see my face, so I put on a face mask which prevented her from knowing it was me but each time I visited her she was curious to know who was behind the mask until one night I went there and she ki-ssed me just to find a way to take off the mask” I said and he ordered me to stop.
“Wait, so it was you and her manager Monica had told our chief doctor that I ki-ssed Felicia” he said and just chuckled.
“What do you mean?” I asked in amazed by what he’s saying.
“Monica said she saw me ki-ssing her in the middle of the night and I was suspended by the chief not to come to the hospital for two days so it was you” he said and chuckled.
“I didn’t know that happen to you I cloud have explained it to her” I said and he nodded.
“It’s already too late no need to bring that up again since I’m now dating Monica and you know I haven’t been able to get a new house” he said and I nodded.
“But aren’t you comfortable in leaving in your girlfriend’s place” I asked and he chuckled.
“Who wouldn’t be comfortable after all I’m not even planing on looking for a new apartment anymore” he said and I nodded.
“Then that settles the matter” I said and he nodded.
“But during the first week of leaving with her I had to go throu-ghsleepless night” he said and I smi-rked.
“What happened tell me all about it” I said and he nodded.
“I always slept on the couch and my body arches the following day” he said making me want to laugh.
“The worse one was when she asked me to sleep with her on her bed, bro each minute I had to go use the bathroom cos I cloudn’t control it” he said and laughed really hard.
“You won’t kill me before my time, don’t tell me you had to go throu-ghsuch thing” I said and he nodded.
“Well there were many others it’s good I don’t mention them but I’ve gotten use to it and now we are leaving in peace and harmony” he said and I nodded.
I’ll talk to you later Jane, I have to go check up on how Jenny is doing” I said and he nodded.
“You can go, I don’t have any patients to check on I’ll just wait for you here still you get back” he said and I smile nodding.
“Don’t touch anything in there” I said as I walk out and he nodded saying he wouldn’t touch anything.
