? JESSICA’S POV ?
You! I said immediately I saw the person who stared at me surprisingly.
“Good day miss. Please do I know you” she asked staring at me confused.
“Oh! I’m sorry you must be Alexa’s partner at work right? I mean in the concept” I asked smiling at her and she nodded.
“Yes I am, and you must be his manager if I’m not mistaken” she said and I smi-rked.
“No actually I’m his as-sistant” I said and she smiled at me nodding.
“So is he at home?”she asked and I nodded smiling.
“Yes come in” I said and gave her way to move in and as soon as she entered the house I closed the door.
I directed her to the living room where Alexis was sitting and watching TV.
Immediately their eyes lock Alexis looked surprised and didn’t look at her anymore but at me.
“Sit down let me get you water to drink” I said and she nodded.
I went in brou-ght her water and heard her conversation with him.
“How are doing Alexis?” she asked and he just nodded.
“Alexis are you okay? I brou-ght you some medicine to help cure the pains around your mouth” she said showing him a box from her purse.
She brou-ght it out and I also saw it from the far end I was standing.
“Let me apply it for you” she said moving towards him and I walked in, interrupting the whole thing.
“Here’s your water” I couched out saying and she moved back and collected the water from me.
“Thank you” she said smiling and I nodded.
“your welcome miss Felicia ” I responded and sat down looking at Alexis.
“What’s that on your hand?” I asked pretending not to know about it.
“Aw it’s medical for Alexis. It will help cure the pains around his mouth” she said and I nodded.
“You can give me I will help apply it on him” I said and she nodded.
“your he’s as-sistant so I’m going to hand this to you make sure to apply it” she said and I nodded smiling although Alexis shook he’s head refusing but I insisted and collected it.
Wait a minute. Why has Alexis not said anything since I got here and he’s not being himself, are you two hiding anything from me? she said and I smi-rked.
Actually he’s…. immediately I wanted to say another knock came from the door and I left there immediately to open it. That was close I almost told her he can’t talk.
I opened the door by another knock and saw someone family, this time it was the girl who had instructed me several times to get her coffee.
“What are you doing here?” I asked angrily and she looked at me and smuggle.
“I’m not here for you so get out of the way I want to see Alexis” she said and I chuckled.
So you still come here to cause trouble. By the way he’s not at home, so go back I said and blocked the door.
“So you have grown winds to talk back at me right” she said trying to make her way in but I block her.
She looked around and pushed me running in and calling Alexis. I wanted to lock the door and run after her from reaching the living room when another person blocked me from closing the door.
“Please let me in am with her” a manly voice said and I looked at him in fear.
“Who are you?” I asked holding the door so he wouldn’t just enter as she just did.
“I’m Michael, a friend of Alexis and I’m here to see him and like I said I’m with Tracy the lady you just let in” he said and I looked at him thinking if I should let him in or close the door.
“So that’s her name and by the way I didn’t let her in she for-ced her way in” I shouted and locked him outside
I breathe in and walked my way to the living room and she was just approaching Alexis
Alexis I think you nee-d to get rid of that your as-sistant. She just didn’t want me to get in” she shouted and I snub.
“Why would I let someone like you in and I’m sure he doesn’t want to see you” I said raising my voice just as she did.
“Alexis why aren’t you saying anything?” she asked and he just looked at both of ours.
That’s because he can’t talk I shouted immediately and closed my mouth. ohh no I just busted everything out.
You mean he can’t talk? what did you give him to eat? she asked sitting by his side.
I…
“what is he trying to say?” she asked staring at the movement of his li-ps.
“He said he’s okay and that you don’t nee-d to worry about him” I repeated just what I saw and guess he was trying to say to her.
“How are you sure that’s what he said?” she asked turning and facing towards me.
“Didn’t you see the movement of his li-ps that’s what he definitely said. you can ask him if you don’t believe me” I said and she turn to him and he nodded.
“I guess your right but don’t think I’m apologizing” she said and I chuckle.
“Who nee-ds your apologies” I said, sighed and sat on the couch staring at Alexis.
“Did you hear her?” she said and looked angry more like a chimpanzee.
“Leave him alone and can’t you see he can’t talk. if he could have, I’m sure he would have sent you out already” I said and she point her finger at me then turned back to him.
“I’m sorry about you losing your voice. I’m going to cook you the medicine that will help cure your voice back” she said and I chuckled.
And how are you going to do that I asked and she smi-rked at me.
She quickly got up from her sit and was heading to the kitchen when a sound was head from the kitchen.
What’s that sound is anyone else in this house she asked and then I remembered about Felicia.
“maybe it’s Felicia she must probably be the one in the kitchen, I totally forgot about her” I said and stood up too.
“Felicia is here and what’s she doing in the kitchen” she asked surprisingly and Alexis was trying to tell me not to let her go to the kitchen but look for a way so she cloud leave.
“how would I know. I left her in the living room with Alexis and didn’t think she will go inside the kitchen” I said and she sighed.
Well let go find out she said and we both moved into the kitchen slowly so she wouldn’t notice any sound.
immediately we go there we saw her and she was.

Immediately we got there we saw her and she was cooking and we both moved closer to her.
“What are you doing in here? “Tracy asked and she shook in surprise.
“You two scared the hell out of me. I’m trying to make some medicine for Alexis so he can take it so by tomorrow morning he will be able to talk again” she said and we both nodded.
“I hope he can talk very fast we have a show tomorrow” Tracy said and we both nodded giving her a helping hand.
“I’m all done just nee-d to add one more thing and that will be… water.. water both Tracy and Felicia” said said at the same time and I looked at them surprisingly.
“Do you also know how to make the medicine” I asked Tracy and she nodded smiling.
“Yes!!! it’s not the first time he’s losing his voice and I do used to make it for him back in the states” she said and I narrowed my eyes.
“So you and him have lived together? “I asked and she smi-rked.
“Of course yes! we have known each other since childhood” she said and frowned.
“I’ll take the medicine to him” Felicia said and I stopped her.
“Let me do it, I know you must be tired from making the medicine” I said and Tracy also jumped in.
“I’ll do it” Tracy said as both of ours kept insisting on who will do it and Felicia just watch both of ours.
“You two should stop fighting over who will take the medicine to him, I made the medicine so I’ll take it to him” she said and walked away with the bowl.
We followed her and stared at each other angrily still we finally got back to the living room.
As we approached Alexis he was sitting with a man in the living room and I ran to see who he was.
“You? what are you doing here? I thought I..” I said surprise to see him inside the house.
“Are you surprise? you know even if you didn’t let me in I’ll still find my way in” he said and I sighed.
“So what’s the situation here? why are you all girls in Alexis house. Tell me are you guys holding a party here” he said and Alexis tamp his arm.
“Wait what’s that?” he asked immediately Felicia handed the bowl medicine to Alexis.
“It’s medicine can’t you see” Tracy shouted and he smi-rked.
“I do have eyes and why are you giving him medicine?. Is he sick?”. Alexis are you okay? “he asked and no body responded to him.
Alexis drank the medicine and everyone was quite watching him drink it.
“How are you feeling?” Felicia asked and he nodded. While the rest of ours breath in relief.
“You know I can guess what’s happening here just by the way you all are acting” he said and all of ours turn towards him angrily.
“Cloud you stop talking it’s so annoying. what even made you to come here in the first place” Tracy shouted and he still smi-rked.
“You made me come here. After I saw the way you walk to your car out there I decided to follow you to see why you were behaving suspicious” he said and we all turn our attention towards Tracy.
“Why are you stocking in the first place?”she shouted and he claimed himself down and breath in.
“Because I have to look after my partner, I don’t want anything to happen to you” he said and Tracy laughed.
“I don’t nee-d you to look after me like a pet, I’m fine on my own. No wander Alexis is way better than you” she said and Michael stood up.
“What do you mean by that? don’t compare me with Alexis he’s no match to me. Can’t you see I’m more handsome than him and I’m not cold hearted like him” he said and Tracy got more angry and I didn’t like what he said too.
“How dare you say he’s cold hearted?” she questioned and moved closer to him.
“You two should stop arguing and let Alexis rest look he’s not looking good” Felicia said and we all paid our attention on him.
“What really wrong with him? you guys should tell me and stop keeping in the dark” he said and turn towards him nodding.
“He’s lost his voice but just for few days he will be able to talk again. it was all my fault” I said sadly and he embr@ced me.
“It’s okay. actually I know about this, he’s a musician it’s normal for him to feel sick don’t worry I’m sure he will be fine by tomorrow” he said as we entangle from the hu-gh.
“You two should stop acting up and come over here” Tracy said and we both turn to Alexis.
“Your phone is ringing Felicia” I said and she quickly pick it up and went away from us before answering it.
Few minutes later she joint ours back in the living room and we all looked at her moving towards us.
“I’m sorry guys I will have to leave you all, take care of Alexis okay. I’m sure before the competition tomorrow he will be able to talk” she said and we all nodded.
She left us in and went away. We all sat still and kept looking at each other and Alexis woke up from his sit and went to his room upstairs.
“I think I’ll be leaving now. let me say good bye to Alexis before I leave” Tracy said standing up.
“Me too I’ll also be leaving you. so take care of him still he gets better okay” Michael said and I nodded.
“Tracy he might be asleep and doesn’t want to be disturbed so I’m going to tell him that you already left when he’s gets up” I said and she nodded.
“It will be good if I don’t disturbed him, he should rest himself up and prepare for tomorrow’s competition” she said and walk her way to the door and Michael followed.
“Why are you following me? “She asked and he stopped standing right behind her.
“I’m also going out can’t you see? “he said and I chuckled.
“You two should just go out together aren’t you partners” I said and Tracy immediately shouted.
“No we aren’t and he’s not going my way and he’s not allowed to follow me” she said and walked out.
Michael showed me a thumbs up before walking out after Tracy and I closed the door and looked upstairs.
I guess I’ll head to my room too since he might be resting.
? DANIEL’S POV ?
“I’m sorry for keeping you waiting dude” I said appreciating my bestfriend at the bar me and him are drinking.
“You went to call her right? “he asked and smiled at me.
“What are you talking about??”I asked chuckling at him.
“Don’t try to fool me I know you went to call Felicia and how is she doing?” he asked and I took a glas-s of drink and sli-p it down my trou-gh.
“She’s fine just having been in this competition I don’t like and she’s with Alexis the guy I’m thinking is a threat to my relationship with her” I said and he scuffed.
“You know I envy you two. I mean your a doctor and she’s an actress and yet you two seems to keep your relationship going and secret from the media and public” he said and I smi-rked.
“I’m happy to hear that from you but do you think I like keeping our relationship secret. If only you know how I want to let everyone know how much I love her especially that idiot of a guy called Alexis” I said in angry and took another sli-p of drink.
“You shouldn’t venge your anger on him. I know when the time is right and you and her decide to make your relationship public he will have no option but to give up” he said and I smiled.
“Your right dude, let’s have a tout to the day…that will finally happened” I said and we both drank together.
About thirty minutes later we had drank to our satisfaction and Felicia walked in looking beautiful as ever but she covered her face with a davent so people won’t recognize her.
“Daniel was wrong with you look at yourself your all drunk and smell of alcohol” she said and carried me out of the bar.
“What took you so long? I’ve been waiting for you come join me”I asked on entering the car.
“I was stock in traffic and just look at what you have done to yourself today. your a doctor for crying out loud. you have to take care of your own health so you can cure others tomorrow” she scroded at me and i just smiled.
“Okay Chief doctor I’m all yours” I said and she started moving the car and finally we got to my house.
“Why did you bring me here I thought we were going out to have ice cream” i said and she nodded holding me and trying to open the door.
“Look at yourself, you’re so drunk and your talking about having ice cream” she said and I fell on the couch snoring.
“Wake up and heard to the room, you can’t sleep here” she said and I just stayed there.
She tracked me and managed to carry me to my room and immediately I fell on the bed I also tracked her along with me.
I turned and was untop of her and she smiled at me.
“promise me you won’t leave me and for Alexis” I said in a low tune and drankinly.
“What nonsense are you even saying?.you know I’m not going to leave you for anyone” she said and i nodded.
“Then promise me or I won’t get off your body” I said and stared at her her li-ps.
“I promise I’m not going to leave you for anyone else. I’ve said it can you get off me now” she said and I smiled moving my li-ps to hers.
I ki-ssed her slowly and fell to the bed facing the ceiling and sleeping happily.
