” They’re not in there ,i just got news from my men . This was just a distraction so he could sail away with her on his speed boat ” Dylan said and We all hurried after them .
If I get my hands on that animal ,I’d make sure he doesn’t get out of this alive .
As we made our way towards the open beach , we noticed his men out there guarding his boat and anger cursed throu-ghmy veins as I saw her in his custody .
Gunshots filled the air as I chased after them , he Zoomed off while laughing crazily .
I got on a jet ski as I chased after them in hot pursuit.
He stopped the boat and smirked in my direction as we stopped in the middle of nowhere .
” What do you think of me ? He asked as he smirked .
” You’re a bastard and I’m not here to exchange words with an animal .
” Emelio go back please ” she said weakly and that’s when I lost it as I fired Angrily at him .
He wasn’t expecting it because it hit straight on his chest and I didn’t hesitate to waste all my bullets in his worth`less body .
His eyes wide-ned in as he fell into the water ,I moved to his boat immediately and my eyes wide-ned when I noticed There was bl**d everywhere and how cold her skin felt against my hands .
” Sh!t ” i cursed under my breath as I bent to her level in hurt .
” Harmony look at me don’t do this please …..” I said in pannick over and over again as i began to pannick .
My whole heart ripped in hurt .
” Emelio ….!” I heard her brothers voice and I gro-aned as they helped us get on their boat .
I cried as she bled in my arms.
” She’d be fine Emelio ” Cardo a-ssured as Enrico drove in speed .
I was scared and i couldn’t help but blame myself for what happened to her.
If only i had listened to her ,all this wouldn’t have happened.
She was rushed into the intensive care unit and I cried immediately .

” Oh my figlio ” mom cried as she walked over to us and pulled me into a hug .
” I couldn’t hide it for long ,she knew immediately y’all left ” Aria said to Cardo .

Not too long the others rushed into the hospital as I sat quietly.
” How is she ? The Don asked mom .
” There has been no news yet ” I muttered under my breath anxiously as I looked around.
I heard soft cries and stared painfully as Neomi cried in Sergio’s arms .
She has always been a strong woman and watching her break down like this was really painful to watch .
And it’s all because of me ,I’ve always been unlucky when it comes to love .
First Sophie lost her life , now …..

” Walking away won’t help at all ” The Don said and I rubbed my face as my heart squee-zed in hurt .
The Doctor walked out immediately and everyone rushed towards them .
” Huh the lady is still unconscious and in critical condition.
” But ….we are hoping things would get better , who’s the fiance of the patient ? The doctor asked and I walked over to them .
” I’m her fiance ” I said and he stared at me then gestured towards his office as we left together.
” Mr De Luca please have a sit ” he said and I sat down immediately.
” Is everything okay ? I asked as I tried to stay calm.
The Doctor stared at me as he sighed softly .
” Did she tell you anything about her health before the accident ? He asked and stared at him in confusion.
” No …she didn’t tell me anything ” i said and he sighed softly.
” Your fiance ..had a very early pregnancy which I’m afraid she lost . Due to attacks on her stomach which affected the fetus” he explained .
I stared at him in shock as I gave a nod.
” Is everything okay ? What did he say ? Frederico asked immediately I walked out .
” Bro you need to calm down and get treated as well , you’ve wasted a lot of….” Kristov trailed and I cut him short immediately.
” She was pregnant” I said immediately and they froze.
” …….She didn’t even get the chance to know about it ” I said as I cried .
” I fu-cking put her life in danger ….
” It’s not your fault …even if you guys weren’t a couple right now ,she still had dragon on her trail ….” Ma-ssimo said and I shook my head .

I was put under treatment after which mom stayed with me and we waited patiently for more information.
I stayed in the hospital for two weeks waiting for Harmony to open her eyes and there was still no positive result at all .
Ma-ssimo came to check on me in the hospital as he dropped lunch on my table ,he gestured for us to take a stroll .
” Chill Grace and Neomi are around ” he said and I gave a nod as I joined him .
” How are you ? He asked as we strolled together outside .
” I don’t know how I feel ,the doctors think it’s high time she regains consciousness ,but ….” I sighed softly.
” You know it’s not as if I don’t get what you both going throu-gh, especially about the baby ” he said and I looked at him as he smiled for the first time in my life I saw tears in his eyes for me .
” It’s not as if I don’t understand what pain feels like Emelio …I had to grow up really early around things that weren’t exactly pleasing to the eyes .

Moments like this with the Don are what we cherish more than anything else in the familia .

I tried to walk towards her room but my heart hurt .
