Chloe stood up,max sat down and Bryan did the same
Chloe was still standing when max cleared hi throat “what your name?”

” You want to work here? “He asked
“Yes sir, I’m really good with household chores” she replied
“Well we already hired someone”he said
She gasped ” but sir I can do it please I really need this job”
” Are you saying I should fire the person I already hired? “He asked and she nodded no
” But there’s another job for you if you are willing”
“Anything sir”she said happily
” It a contract”he said ” you are going to carry my child and I will pay you at the end of the whole thing”
“I don’t understand you sir”she said
” You are going to get pregnant for him and after *giving birth you will be paid but don’t worry, you will get half of your p* ayment once you are four months pregnant”Bryan explain better to her

” Wait”Bryan said and she halt ” don’t worry *about the expenses or anything during your pregnancy period we will cover any possible expenses you have and that won’t be part of your payment it will be more like a b* onus”

” Idiot”max mutter and went back to his room,a bi-tch was lying on his bed

Chloe went back home sadly, when she got home the door was locked
Chelsea was supposed to be at home, she went to their neighbor
“Excuse me ma’am have you seen my sister Chelsea?” She asked

” Hospital? What happened?”she ask worriedly
” I don’t know but I think it is serious”she replied

Chloe started running to the nearest hospital to their house,which was St Patrick’s hospital.
“Nurse a girl about ten years of age was brou-ght here”she said pan-ting
” What her name?”the nurse ask
She was about to talk when Kyle called her “Chloe”
She rushed to him “what happened? Where chess?”
“She fainted the doctor is attending to her”he said
After a while the doctor came out, Chloe rush to him “doctor how’s my sister?”
“She’s stable now” he said
“What’s wrong with her?” She asked
“Well it Lukemia”he replied ” it a cancer of the blood”
” What do we do?”she ask
” Well in your sister case chemotherapy can’t help so we have to perform surgery and we need a bone marrow donnor”he said
” Surgery”she called again as if she doesn’t understand what the word means
“We will be testing you two to see if you are a match well that’s if you are willing”he said
” We are willing”Kyle said and the doctor left
” Kyle what do we do? Where do we get the money?” She asked
” Didn’t you get a job?”he asked
” I did but I declined”she said
” Why? We need the money”he said
“I can’t do it” she said and explain everything to him

Chelsea was lying on the hospital bed, in a general ward with drip fixed on her hand
“Chloe” she call as soon as she saw her
“How are you feeling chess?” She asked taking a seat beside her
“Better” she reply with a smile
“That’s good” she said “are you hungry?”
” Yes”she replied
” What will you like to eat?” Kyle ask
“Fried noodles”she reply
” Alright I’ll go get some”Chloe said and left Kyle quickly follow her
” Hey”he call and she halt “where will you get the money?”
“I don’t know probably get it on credit or go borrow some money”she said
” Here this is my last saving”he said and gave her some money
She left while Kyle went back inside to look after Chelsea

“I’m sorry ma’am you should go talk to the doctor” she said and left

“Nothing Chess,I’ll be back” she said and went to the doctor office
She knock on the door and opened it
“Good day doctor” she greet taking a seat

“Doctor the nurse said you ask her to stop treating my sister without payment”she said

” But doc we will pay soon”she said
” I’m sorry that’s our policy,and if you want to pay you should pay for the test soon”he said ” and your sister might be ask to leave the hospital if you don’t pay”
” Alright doctor”she said and left
She was returning to the ward when she saw Kyle waiting for her
“What did her say?” He ask
“He said chess might have to leave the hospital if we don’t pay”she said sadly and took a seat on the chair, Kyle did the same
” Chess is asleep” he said and she nodded “Chloe the job you said earlier”
She raised her head at the sound of that “what are you getting at?”
“Maybe we should consider it it not like you will be getting married and they will cover chess expenses”he said
” I can’t believe you are suggesting such a dirty job Kyle”she said angrily
” We don’t have a choice,we need to save Chess”he said
” No matter what we always find a way and we will get throu-ghthis too”she said
” We need money for hospital expenses,we need money for her surgery and after that she won’t be the same she might need to stay on medication for a while and eat good food, where do we get all that, think Chloe think”he said

Chloe slept at the hospital, she woke up early and went to look for job again.
This time luck was on her side, she got a part time job as a waitress in a restaurant
After six hours she got her payment, the money was enough to pay for the hospital bills and to get the results, she was hoping Kyle would buy the food.
“Chloe where have you been?” Chelsea ask as Soon as she got into the ward
” Went to work”she reply looking around “where’s Kyle?”
“He went to work too” she said
“Have you eaten?” She ask
” No, I’m famished”she said yawning
” Alright I’ll go get you something” she said and went to pay for the hospital bills
” If I pay for the test I won’t be able to buy chess anything, I will pay once Kyle is back”she said staring at the money before going to buy her sisters food
Right after she left Kyle walk in “hey chess”
“Kyle” she call “did you see Chloe?”
“No, was she here? “He asked

” We missed each other, where was she headed? “He asked

” Alright”he was still talking when the nurse came in and fix Chelsea drip

” Not really, the girl with you pay half of the money do we decided to countinue her treatment for the meantime”the nurse said and left after fixing the drip
” Hey”Chloe call walking in with a nylon containing food in her hand

“Here you go chess” she said giving her the nylon
“What about you guys?” She ask staring at them
“Don’t worry we will eat later, you eat first” she said
“No u can’t finish all this”she said
” Eat to your satisfaction first”Kyle said and she nodded
“Chloe let talk” he said and they walk outside
“Where did you get the money for chess treatment?” He ask
“I got a part time job” she said
“That’s good” he said
“How was work?” She ask

“What? But why?” She ask
“I don’t know,they said our payment has been delayed for certain reasons”he said
” I hope you get it soon”she said patting him

Chloe was in the restaurant cleaning the used mug when a customer ordered
“Two cup of cappuccino please”
She quickly rinse her hand and went to get it ,she was going to the table when a little bit pushed her and she pour the cappuccino on a customer phone
“I’m really sorry sir I didn’t mean it” she pleaded
” My phone is damage how are you going to pay for this?” The man yell
They were still arguing when the boss came and promise to pay for it
” I’m really sorry sir” she apologise bowing
“I’m sorry Chloe but you can’t get your payment today and you are fired”he said
” But sir”she tried to say but the boss made a signal for her to stop
“Leave now” he said and she nodded,she changed her clothes and left with tears in her eyes
She went to the hospital but to her surprise,her sister wasn’t There
She went to the nurse office and ask of her sister
“Nurse, where’s Chelsea Micheals?” She ask
“She was discharged today” she said
“But why?” She ask ” we already payed half of the money”
“I’m sorry miss but until the full payment she can’t stay here”she said
Chloe quickly went back home,she saw Chelsea asleep on Kyle leg
” Where have you been?” He ask as soon as she walk in,he notice her mood ” what wrong?”
” I got fired and I wasn’t given my pay” she said sadly
” What happened?”he ask and she explain to him
Their conversation woke up Chelsea “Chloe I feel nauseous”
“Wait I will go get a bowl” she said and rush to get a bowl, Chelsea puke in it
Chloe cleaned her up and put her back to sleep
“She just vomit everything she ate by the time she wakes up she will be hungry again”Kyle said
” I don’t have any money”she said
” I don’t have any too”he reply
“What do we do?” She ask
“Chloe I think you should go for that job” he said
“I’m not sure” she was still talking when Chelsea started vomiting again
They rush her to the hospital,she was taken to the emergency room
The doctor came out “she’s fine it just indigestion”
“Doctor will she get worse?” She ask worriedly
” I’m not sure but the earlier the better” he said and left
“Chloe we need to help chess”he said
” Kyle if I hope get that job you have to promise me something” she said
“Whatever you want”he said
” Promise me you won’t leave me and you will wait for me”she said
” I promise”he said
” Alright look after Chess,I’ll be back” she said and left
She went to max house she knock on the door and it was opened by Bryan
“Good afternoon sir” she greeted
“Afternoon” he reply
“Sir I came here three days ago,for a job” she said
“Yeah I remember you, come in”he said and she followed him inside
” Why are you back?”max ask as soon as he saw her
