CHAPTER 10
☆FIRST kis-s/FIRST FIGHT☆
AMAZON’S HOUSE.
“So guys I made some food…you must be hungry let’s have something to eat before we proceed with the project” Diego said to Kim and Onda.
“You cooked? Really??” Kim asked while he nodded.
“I’m sure you’re gonna love it” He smiles cutely.
“But…I don’t see Verna around” Onda asked slowly.
“Don’t worry…she went out…for her project too” Diego replied while Onda breathe in.
“Come on” He led them to the dinning.
“It’s not much but you’re gonna love it” He said pulling the chair out for Kim who blus-hed.
They took their respective seats and Kim wowed on seeing the food.
“It’s pasta!”
“Come on dig in. I put in some efforts in making it perfect”
“I’m sure it’ll be good” Kim winks before she started eating.
“What do you think?” Diego asked eagerly.
“It’s…it’s…spicy…” She said while Onda tasted it also.
“Mine isn’t” Onda said.
“Ohh…I heard you love spicy food…so I made yours extra spicy” Diego itch his ear.
“What? I do??” Kim finds herself asking.
“Wait! Did…Jay perhaps told you this?” Onda asked.
“Ohh…this is embarra-ssing…I actually asked him for some tips” Diego replied while Onda took her gaze to Kim who had a sour look on.
“But are you okay Kim? Don’t you like it?” Diego asked on noticing her expression.
“Ohh…I’m alright…except for the fact that it burns my throat” Kim replied awkwardly while Onda couldn’t help chuckling silently.
“Eat a lot…I still have more. Or you want me to add more chilli?” Diego asked.
“NO!”She snapped.
“Oh…I mean…it’s spicy enough…Jayden really knows me well this is just the right amount of chilli I needed” She chortle forcefully.
“Sure Kim….eat a lot. You love spicy food” Onda teased while Kim gave her a glare.
“After this we can start the lesson” Diego smiles joining them. Onda wouldn’t stop smiling at Kim’s misery.
Onda’s phone suddenly started ringing.
“Um…excuse me guys” She said leaving the dinning to the living room.
It was actually a video call by an unknown number. On picking it up she saw Verna sitting on a bed.
“Verna?” She mutters about ending the call but then stops when she heard her say something.
“So tell me…what do you think about her?” Verna asked.
“Why are you asking about her?” A familiar male voice asked back.
“Jade?” She mumbles as Jade came into view getting on the bed with Verna.
“I just wanna know where I stand with you…you guys kis-sed earlier”
“That…that was nothing”
“You don’t know how devastating it was for me to witness you kis-sed another girl” Verna pouted while Jade suddenly burst out laughing.
“Why? Did you enjoyed it?”
“Don’t kid me…you don’t know how…how torturing it felt. I was trying to forget tha. why did you have to bring it up?”
“It was torturing?”
“Come on Verna…i don’t even wanna talk about it…let’s just focus on the project instead”
“Which of the projects? My project…or the school’s project?” Verna asked seductively hanging her arms around his neck.
“Of course…your project” Jade replied placing his li-ps on her neck.
“Of course…my project” Verna whispers back smirking to the phone which was placed on the desk a little far from them without Jade’s knowing.
Onda covers her mouth with her palm ending the call. So to Jade…what they shared was torturing…no wonder he made the digust face earlier. He must have so much hated kis-sing her.
“Onda…are you okay over there?” Kim asked from the dinning room while Onda quickly wipe off the tears that escaped her eyes. She turns back to them with a small smile.
“I…I think I’ve got to go…there’s an urgency at home” She said taking her bag in a rush
“Is everything alright?” Kim asked worried.
“Don’t worry…I’m sorry I won’t be able to do this today”
“It’s okay…go there’s tomorrow” Diego smiles while she nodded and rushed out of there.
Kim sighs.
“She looks worried”
“She’ll be fine” Diego said while Kim nodded.
“Now…it’s us alone…what should we do?”Diego teased.
“The project…we should get on it now” Kim said standing up leaving the dining while Diego stood also following her. In a jiffy he carried her while she gasped.
“What are you doing Diego?” She asked wide eyed as he carried her back to the dinning placing her on the table there.
“I’ve been holding myself back all day but…now I think I should go for it.”
“What?”
“I really wanna kis-s you badly Kim” He whisper while Kim’s cheek turns red.
“No kis-sing…I’m here only for the project” She cautions while he smiles.
“Exactly” He said and before she knew it he captured her li-ps in his. She gasped into the kis-s holding onto him tightly. Her eyes went tightly shut as he kis-ses her.
She releases a sudden gasp unlocking from the kis-s when he push his tongue throu-ghher mouth. Diego gave her a look for a while before smirking.
“First time” He asked but she keeps her head low in embarra-ssment.
“I feel honoured..” His voice came and she looks up to him blinking repeatedly.
“Let’s go on a date this weekend” He said and she nodded.
“And don’t worry…we can take everything slowly…”He said again kis-sing her reddened cheek.
“Diego…” She called.
“Why?” He answered. Kim got hold of his face and gave him a short kis-s.
“I like you” She grins while he pulled her into a tight hug.
“I know…and I do too…” On hearing this Kim grins more.
HOURS LATER.
Jay was already getting ready to bed when the door suddenly opened and Kim rushed in.
“What the heck! You scared me!” He said holding his chest while Kim only rushed to him on the bed hugging him tight.
“Hey_”
“We kis-sed!” She announced.
“What?” Jay pulled her away.
“I got my first kis-s tonight Jay! Gosh! It feels so surreal! I thought I was gonna go out of my senses” she enthused holding her chest.
“So…you went there for the project but ended up making out with him?” Jay frowns while she hit his chest.
“Who talked about making out? I only said now that we kis-sed.”
“Hey it usually start from that!” Jay snapped back.
“We didn’t made out! He promised to take things slowly” She said while Jay scoffs.
“Slowly my foot. Either way you two are still gonna make out and eventually have s-ex” He pointed out while Kim blus-hed.
“Hey…you shouldn’t say those things randomly…you talk as if it’s nothing special”
“Don’t tell me you’re actually thinking of doing that with him?”
“I never said I will”
“But your face says it all. Look at you blus-hing at the mention of s-ex”
“Just that…I still can’t believe this is happening. And also it’s no big deal. He’s my boyfriend now…who cares if I do it with him?”
“Wow….how unbelievable of you Kim! Are you really the Kim I know! I made a terrible mistake.” He shook his head. While Kim just grins non stop.
EASTWOOD HIGH.
Onda was on her way to clas-swhen she spot jade coming towards her way also. The two stopped on seeing each other. Jade looks at her and his face darted to her li-ps. The kis-s reappeared in his mind and he shakes his head. Likewise Onda, what Jade said in the video the other night replayed in her head and she couldn’t but to help fist her palms.
“Hi…Onda” he greeted awkwardly before rushing away. Onda breathes out and was about leaving but Verna appeared out of nowhere smirking with her hands folded.
“You heard him right? You should know your place. He isn’t in your league and he can never..stoop so low to a trash like you. To him….you’re nothing but torture” Verna smirks while Onda fists her palms more. Verna moves closer to to her and whispers to her hearing.
“Don’t think I forgot what happened yesterday…I promise to repay you and that psycho back. I’ll destroy both of you completely”
“HEY!!” They suddenly I heard a thunderous voice and look back only to see Kim marching forward to them. Before Verna could knew it Kim landed on a hot slap on her cheek.
Onda gasp covering her mouth with her palm.
As if that wasn’t enough, kim grab her hair while Verna cried out in pain.
“Let go b*tch!” She spat holding Kim’s hand on her hair.
“I bet I warned you not to get close to her ever again! How dare you bully her behind me uh?!” She pushed her to the floor getting on her. By now students are already gathering filming them.
Verna managed to grab her hair also and the two started rolling on the floor.

Agnes brou-ght out a cigarette and lit it.
She insert it in her mouth and just then a bag flew over from the fence. She looks at the bag and just then she heard a groan from the fence.
“Ouch!!” Jay rubs his butt as he jumped down from the fence.
He dusts himself and carried his bag but just then he saw pair of boots in front of him. He looks up slowly just to see Agnes staring back at him.
“Oh! That scared me” he breathes out.
“You should be scared” she said.
“It’s you so I’m relived. I almost thought it was a teacher.”
“It’s must be part of your daily life to jump over the school fence”
“I don’t usually do this….this morning is just different. Pretend you saw nothing”
“Why should I when I did see something?”
“If you do I’ll pretend I saw nothing also”
“What?”
“That thing in your hand” He pointed to the cigarette she’s hiding behind her.
“Sh*t”
“Don’t worry…I’m ain’t a tattletale”
“So what?”
“The call is on you”
“Whatever” She rolled her eyes dropping the cigarette and stepping on it.
“I’d love to know more about you”
“Stay your lane. I hate your gender the most”
“I could change your view on us”
“Why don’t you get out of my sight first…that’ll be a big help to me”
“You’re feisty”
“I can be rude too.”
“If you keep this attitude up you’re gonna have no one by your side…you’re just like someone I know…Kim”
“I need no one by my side and also who the hell is Kim?”
“A crazy girl like you…I’m the only one who can tame her you see. She’s a total nut job” Jay said while she sneer.
“I’ll turn a blind eye to this just this once…don’t expect me to be nice another day” She said and started leaving. Jay follows her.
“You gonna die soon” He said behind her while she stops and frowns at him.
“What?”
“Because you smoke…smokers die Young you see…it’s such a pity” Jay shook his head before leaving.
“What the heck is wrong with that psycho?” She asked no one in particular.

Kim was still taking lead. Though she got some bruises from Verna, Verna was already half way to unconsciousness by the time Diego arrived there.
“KIM! KIM STOP!!” He howled on getting there pushing her away rou-ghly from Verna.
“WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING?!!” He yelled at her before facing the injured Verna on the floor.
“Are you okay?”He asked worried carrying her in his arms.
“I’m disappointed in you Kim” Diego said to Kim before leaving with Verna in his arms.
Kim scoffs sweeping up her hair in frustration.
INFIRMARY.
“Are you okay?” Onda asked Kim.
“Of course I am…what do you expect?”
“Why did you do that?”
“Because she crossed her lane…that vixen”
“Will you be okay?”
“What?”
“Diego…you must be mad at him?”
“Him? I don’t know. Honestly I feel a little disappointed…just a little”
“It’s all because of me” Onda mumbles with her head down.
“Don’t say that….it’s not. I’m actually sorry…for not been there when you needed me. I promised to protect you but…she did that to you…you must have been scared”
“Luckily…I was saved by someone…like you”
“Who?”
“She’s a new student…and a new friend of mine”
“Ohh.. .you’re now making new friends…I’m proud of you Dada” Kim ruffles her hair while she smiles. Just then the door opened and Agnes rushed in.
“Onda??” She called running to her while Onda stood up.
“Agnes”
“Oh my gosh! Are you okay dear? Are you hurt? What did that witch did to you?” Agnes asked checking her out.
“I’m fine Agnes…she did nothing. I’m okay”
“Who is she?”Kim asked while they both turned to her.
“This is Agnes…she helped me the other day. Agnes this is Kim…my best friend” Onda introduced.
“Hi Agnes…I’m Kim I heard you are a new student?” Kim smiles at her while Agnes face Onda back.
“I ran here on hearing what happened. I’m glad you’re okay.” Agnes rubs Onda’s face softly ignoring Kim.
“I’m fine…thank you Agnes” Onda smiles back.
“Hello…am I invisible?” Kim waves at them.
“Alright…I’m glad to hear that.” Agnes said to Onda ignoring Kim again.
Kim scoffs standing up. She got hold of Onda’s hand pulling her away from Agnes.
“Let’s go Onda….I suddenly feel uncomfortable here. We should go to clas-snow” Kim said glaring at Agnes.
“Agnes see you later…byee” Onda bid Agnes goodbye as Kim pulled her out of the infirmary.
Agnes scoffs watching them leave.
“So she’s Kim” She mutters.
“Interesting…”

“You said Kim is your friend right?” Agnes opted joining Jade and Jay on their seats.
“So?”
“I’m curious about her”
“Why are you curious about her? You should be curious about me” Jay said.
“I already know you’re a loser do I have to know more?” Agnes shrugged.
Jade stifles a laugh.
“That’s cruel…you just broke my heart” Jay said.
“I’m having a slumber party this Friday”
“Of course I’d love to attend”
“Bring her. I want her there”
“But why? You like her? Wanna get hooked up with her?” Jay teased.
“She isn’t my type…just wanna confirm something”
“Don’t worry…she’ll come along with us” Jade chipped in.
“I never asked you to come”
“If I didn’t then…it isn’t complete”
“Whatever…”
“Just bring her and her friend Onda”
“Why Onda? She isn’t the party type” Jade said.
“So she won’t come? If she doesn’t then you two don’t bother coming” Agnes pointed at them before leaving them.
“Why does she wants her there?”
“Why? Is there a reason why she can’t be there?” Jay asked.
“Of course she’s a party pooper….she shouldn’t be there”
“Is that only the reason?”
“Then what else?”
“I think you’re just trying to avoid her”
“Why would I?”
“Probably because you kis-sed her”
“I didn’t! It was an accident”
“Yeah….maybe you should say your girlfriend bullying her is also an accident”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Verna bullied her didn’t you know?”
“What?”
“You really didn’t want? Everyone who knows about that…seriously…you know nothing….how pathetic” Jay shook his head standing standing up.
“I better go tell Kim about the party” He grins before leaving.
“It can’t be because of me right?” Jade mutters.

“Kim wait!” Diego held Kim’s hand but she whipped it away.
“What do you want from me Diego?” She glared.
“Look I’m sorry about earlier….I was angry and_.”
“Okay…accepted. Can I leave now?”
“Wait! You’re coming over for the project later right?”
“Not sure…I’ve got a sudden headache.. I’ll work on the my part from home and send it to you throu-ghemail. Is that all?”
“Kim I…”
“Then I’ll get going” she said and started leaving.
“Hey kimmy!!” Jay who was approaching her waves but Kim just walk by him. Jay wondered what’s wrong but then saw Diego looking down.
His face dissolve in a big smile.
“Don’t tell me it’s a breakup!”
“So soon! I knew this was gonna happen sooner or later. They don’t fit. I better go console her. Kimmy wait for me” He ran to her putting his arms around her shoulders.
AMAZON’S HOUSE.
Diego got home looking solemn.
“You’re early” Verna entered his room looking rather happy.
“What happened earlier?” Diego quizzed.
“Ask your girfriend…she suddenly attacked me though I did nothing to her” She shrugged.
“You must have done something for her to do that”
“I don’t care if you believe me or not. What’s important now is that my hatred for her grew more” she said while Diego sighs.
Verna moves closer to him hanging her arms around his neck.
“Don’t be sad brother…things are just getting started. Remember I promised to ruin your relationship with her? I’m planning on doing that now. I’ll make sure you two are never happy together. I’ll be destroy her and those crazy witches also.”
“Enough already….you’re becoming something else by the day and I won’t allow that. I’ll protect my relationship with Kim. I won’t let you jeopardize it” Diego affirms..
“Protect it well brother…if you can” She whispers to his hearing.
Withdrawing, she bit her li-ps giving him a seductive look before sashaying out of his room.
