Delight finally gained admission into the University of Lagos as a mas-scommunication student while studying law… Every thing was working as planned, she goes to school from home as a Mas-scom. Student in school she changes to a law student and she comes back home a mas-scom student.
She was doing perfectly well in her academics and one of the best in law department. she has a lot of friends and those she tutors but was very careful to limit them all in school and not to bring anyone home or get too attached to her friends so that her plans won’t be expose.
That’s why most a times her friends will always tell her that she’s too secretive but she cares less of what they think about her. She now has an account that her mother pays in money for her, her father also pays in money for her into the same bank without her mother knowing anything.
Delight spends most of her days in that house in her own room…. She used curtain and demarcated her room just like she sees those that leaves in lodges or hostel does, she brou-ght the fridge in the kitchen down to her room and bought electric stove for herself which she normally cooks with….. She was very determined to shut her mother out from her world and she is gradually achieving it.
She changed her door key to padlock and always make sure to bolt her door whenever she is reading to avoid her mother finding out the course she’s actually studying.
She was almost caught by her mother one day that she was reading her law textbook and didn’t noticed when her mother comes in and turn the cover of the book, she was shocked seeing it was a law text book that she was reading but thank God for her quick intervention and conviction, she told her mother that the the law is a borrowed course and in the next level she won’t be doing it…. It was just like a magic and relieve when her mother believed her without trying to argue or go further to find out,she became extra careful in everything she is doing.
At the end of each semester, because of the way the barr. Was close to the vice chancellor of the school and how Frank explained the conditions in which Delight was allowed to attend school , it made everything easier for Delight.
At the end of every semester, the Hod of mas-scommunication department will also Forge a result for her with faire grades because that’s what Delight requested for in order to convince her mother that she is really not doing so good in that imposed course she is studying…. While she will collect her main result and keep it very well where her mother or anybody else can see it.

Barr. Franky was really a tremendous help to her in many ways and her father was also of help and source of encouragement to her in many ways and finance not excluded.
Wow! how time flies, four years has almost approached and that’s the number of years for mas-scommunication. Delight was a bit panicky because of the way her mother brags and talk about her graduation and how she will proudly and lavishly celebrate her graduation party for her. She talks of how she will invite almost the entire Lagos to be a witness to her successful daughter……. This always gets her worried when ever she thinks about it and imagines what will happen when her mother will finally find out that she is studying law and that she has two more years to stay in school.
Then Delight mapped out a day she will visit barr. Franky Frank to hear out his suggestions towards the forth coming challenges on her way.

She went to barr. Franky office and as usual they all had a conference call with her father.
Every arrangement was made and everything seems so great and excellent if only the plans will be very successful.
After concluding the plans, the call was ended and as usual Delight was so grateful to barr. Franky Frank and thanked him so much for everything he has been doing for her and her father and for his supports and advice even towards her academic pursuit.
The barr. Was embarra-ssed by how she showered praises on him and he told her that he will do anything for her.
They both drank and toasted too for how successful their plans has been moving without interruption for so many years now.
But one thing still kept Delight worried about barr. Franky, she can’t really take off her mind from seeing someone that resembles her mother in his office and countless times she follows her mother around without her notice
She always finds her coming to this building but she can’t quite place her finger on the particular chamber she often comes…. How about if their whole plans fails at this last time?
I am not quite secured about how barr. Franky entertained her mother right in his office.. I think is high time I confront barr. Franky face to face and remove this burden off my shoulder once and for all….. She was really lost in thought thinking about how to direct her speech towards towards barr. Franky when he finally brou-ght her out from her de-ep thoughts.
Hello princess what are you thinking?
Ehmm….. Scratching her head…. Nothing really was just thinking of the whole thing over and over again from the onset….. Every thing was just like a movie to me and I can’t really believe that I acted this whole thing all the while.
So are you entertaining fear that this won’t work out at last minute?
Wow! How did you know my thoughts barr.? Honestly I was thinking about it just now, what of if everything that we have been acting or our plans finally got exposed at the dying minutes what will be my fate or my dad’s fate….. I am a bit scared
Is always like that my dear…. Been nervous is necessary but don’t overly entertain fear that things won’t work out, you have been throu-ghit all even when you was just too tender, why won’t you survive or make it now that you are all grown up……. Don’t worry my angel, I know you very well, you are brave, smart, intelligent, bold and a very strong lady that when you put your mind together to do something you scale throu-ghjust like an eagle, this is our final plan, we have to hit it so ha-rd without giving any room for lapses….. (patting her on the shoulder) don’t worry about anything God has already crowned our efforts especially yours.
Yes, I believed so but I am still worried about something
What could that be dear?
I have seen my mum in this building countless times but I don’t actually know the chamber or the lawyer she normally sees but barr Franky Frank I must say the obvious that I have seen her in your chamber once.
The barr. Was very focused looking at Delight with rapt attention………… In his heart he so much loved this girl, she’s so full of wisdom.
Yes go on my baby girl.
Sir it has been about 4 years now, the first time I came here with my driver and I saw my mom in your office.
Are you sure it was your mum you saw that very day?
Yes, she was the one, after I saw you was with a client I have to wait at the handrail after sometime my mom came out although I didn’t notice the particular chamber she came out from but I am very certain that she wore the same cloth with the woman in your office that particular day
So why haven’t you asked me all that years?
Nothing I was just trying to be sure before I speak.
The barr. Started laughing and after his laughter subsided, he said to Delight..
My darling your wisdom knows no bound. As soon as your father comes back I will advise him to allow you to further your education abroad, you are a born lawyer and your potential is very wonderful.
I love that well…….
