LEGEND POV
We’re going back to school today. I really don’t want to go back to Rock Prim not after what I’ve been throu-gh in the hands of my fellow cl@$$mates.
I can feel it in my bones, today is going to be a great day but why would I feel so when cl@$$es starts today. How can ones dream be so long and never ending. I can’t believe I almost got killed in my own dream.
“Legend” Kaiden called from downstairs and I ruffled my hair in frustration.
“Legend, I know you’re hearing me. Mother said I should make sure you don’t stay home today. You must be planning on not going to school today right” Kaiden said bluntly.
“I can’t hear you” I shouted sarcastically.
“I know you heard me” He scoffed.
“Mother will be like, Liam you have to go to school. Don’t even think about skipping cl@$$es this session like you did last session. I’m off to work” I mimicked as I sluggishly went into the bathroom.
After freshening up, I got dressed into my uniform, picked my school bag and head to the dinning table for my breakfast.
“Good morning Liam” Kaiden greeted with a smile but I ignored him.
“Guess what I made for breakfast?” He added in a sing song as he went into the kitchen.
“Of course you made my favorite strawberry pancakes” I uttered with a frown as he c@m£ out of the kitchen with a tray on his hand.
“Oh, I thought I would put a smile on your face with that” Kaiden pouted and I grinned wi-dely.
“I got you” I tea-sed laughing as I took one of the pancakes and cu-p of coffee from the tray.
“Liam, you really know how to pl@ysilly. About your cl@$$es today” He cut in and the smile on myl-ips disappeared.
“Can’t I just skip school for today. I really don’t want to go to school today” I complained as we both sat down.
“Of course you can’t do that. Mum gave her instructions alre-ady and you know how strict she can be when giving out instructions” He explained.
“Mum can really change my school if she wants me to go to school that bad. Going back to Rock is like a nightmare to me. Not after what I went throu-gh all the years I’ve been there. They really make me feel like a piece of shit” I complained then had a bite from my pancakes with a frown.
“Legend everything will be fine. Don’t forget this is your last year in highschool. You don’t have to put much pressure on yourself because of what people think of you. You’re very handsome and that’s what you should always put on your mind when you get into the school gate” Kaiden comforted and I couldn’t help it but boost into laughter.
“A second ago I almost thought you to be someone else. I got deceived, bad @$$ dudes like you never comfort anyone. You joined hands with those bad guys when you were in highschool to bully me. Now I think of it, you were a complete je-rk” I scoffed and he grinned.
“I don’t keep rooms for cool dudes that’s why I had to for-ce you to become a bad@$$ so no one bullies you. Can’t you see how bold you’ve become. That’s a good thing because I can’t always be around to have your back little bro” He grinned and I pouted.
“Don’t call me that. You’re only a year older than me” I argued and had another bite from my pancake.
“Legend” Grayson called from outside as he rang his bicycle bell.
“Legend you’re not allowed to skip cl@$$es today so get your bu-tt off your be-d, let’s go to school” Grayson shouted as he hit my room’s window ha-rd.
“How did I end up like this to have made someone like that my buddy” I g-asped staring at the door seriously and Kaiden chuckled.
I couldn’t take his grumbling anylonger so I ran to my room and opened the window for-cefully.
“Oh my goodness, who’s this” Grayson g-asped as his jaw dropped.
“What are you saying? Did you leave some p@rt of your br@in at home” I hissed rolling my eyes.
“Legend how did you become so fine, you look handsome. Did you perhaps put on some makeup” Grayson questioned curiously.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about. I always wake up this way. Nothing changed so get back to your s-enses” I blurted.
“I can’t lie, you look so fine. Didn’t know you will be that eager to go to school today, who wouldn’t be with a pretty face as yours” Grayson tea-sed.
“Did my mum drop by your house today because I see no reason why you’re in a good mood today and it’s really pissing me off” I said to him seriously.
“She did and she told me to drop by and wake you up if Kaiden couldn’t do so. Happy now? And I’m happy because we will get to spend more time together now schools session started” He explained with a silly smile.
“You sound like we didn’t spend time together when we were on holidays” I scoffed and closed my window.
“Legend you’re going to school right” Kaiden reminded and I rolled my eyes.
“I am. What about you Kaiden, are you not going to college today” I asked sarcastically and he dragged me out of the door.
“I will head to college when I’m done with what I’m doing. Bye see you later” He added and locked the door in front of me and Grayson laughed.
Grayson and I head to school.
FLASHBACK*** “Hahaha…. Grayson how can you make someone like that your personal buddy”

“He’s so ugly” So many students ridiculed me as I walk into school with Grayson.***FLASHBACK ENDS.
I won’t forgive each and everyone one of who humiliated and mocked me. My stars are shinning on me now, I’m done with the puberty stage. I muttered in my mind seriously and brushed my hair backwards.
“Grayson” Some girls called out as they ran to us and their eyes turned to heart as they stared at me admiringly.
“Who’s he Grayson” They asked curiously and I stared at them confused not knowing what they meant by that question.
“Don’t you get tired of teasing your fellow cl@$$mate. We just resumed today so don’t even think you will get away with it if that’s what you’re planning” Grayson rebuked seriously and I smiled but the girls fell to the ground staring at me like they would lose their minds.
“Grayson what’s wrong with everyone? Why are they acting strange” I asked a bit confused with everyone’s stare and wi-nking. I will say some were bl-owing flying k!sses.
We got to cl@$$ and here’s where the real show began.
“Everyone listen, listen. We’ve got a new student. Oh my goodness I can’t believe we will be having the most handsome in our cl@$$. Grayson you found yourself a very handsome buddy” Angela my biggest annoyer announced with a wi-de smile on herl-ips.
“Wow he’s so handsome… I never seen anyone as handsome as him before” The cl@$$ murmured staring at me with hearts on the eyes of the girls and boys.
Did she just call me the most handsome? I can’t believe my ears or Am I dreaming? I can’t believe my dream is coming throu-gh. I’m becoming the center of attra-ction. I muttered in my head as fireworks blew in my br@in.
Now let’s show them who the boss is. I’m not letting those who mocked me go so easily. I thought and a malicious smile appeared on myl-ips.
“Go for it Legend” Grayson g-asped with a mean smile as we got to our desks then I hit the desk ha-rd and everyone shrunk in shock.
“Angela did you just call me the most handsome. Friendly reminder,take that back because you gave me a pen name alre-ady, UGLY @$$HOLE” I said coldly with a sm-irk and everyone’s eyes went wi-de open.
“Legend !” They all g-asped out in shock and I laughed out loud.
“Those who humiliated me, watch out. I’m not letting that slide” I forewarned with a mean glare.

Been mocked and ridiculed by the whole cl@$$ was something everyone thought will continue till they all graduate from highschool but look now, everything’s changed. Legend got back on his feet as a ruler of his own world.
“Mum you’re not going to work today” Legend asked curiously with a smile as he c@m£ out of his room with his uniform on.
“You’re all dressed for school. Is there something I’m missing out my handsome son” Cindy asked with a smile as she took off her gl@$$es.
Cindy is Kaiden and Legend’s single mum. Cindy works her bu-tt off to give Kaiden and Legend a very comfortable life. She made their schooling her first priority although the pressure doesn’t work much on Legend because he’s very lazy student who enjoys pla-ying games and eating different kinds of edible.
“Mother do you think I’m good looking now than I used to be in my last school session” Legend asked with a smile.
“I don’t quite get you because you’re always good looking son. I’ve never seen as a ugly dude before” Cindy g-asped and Legend gro-an ed staring at his mum tiredly.
“What’s wrong” Cindy asked curiously.
“Nevermind mum. I will be going to school now” Legend announced as he sat down to put his shoes.
“You didn’t have breakfast yet” Cindy reminded and Legend chuckled.
“I did mum. All your concentration must have been on what you were doing. I’m off” Legend g-asped and went out.

“Melody when do you plan on telling Legend how you feel about him” Jasmine uttered staring at Melody on their ride to school.
Melody and Jasmine the two beauty queens in Rock Prim s-enior high. Melody is 18 years old from a middle cl@$$ family same as Jasmine.
“What do you mean? You told me you’re not in support of me chasing him” Melody g-asped staring at Jasmine suspiciously.
“That was when he used to be an ugly @$$ dude but now everything’s changed, Legend happened to be the most handsome guy in our school. Isn’t that amazing or should I say surprising. He turned out to be a hot and good looking dude at a turn of night” Jasmine said smiling going throu-gh some pictures on her phone.
“There’s nothing to be surprised about, Legend has always been an handsome guy. He was only going throu-gh late puberty which kinda gave him sp©ts all over” Melody defended looking at the window.
“I still don’t believe that story. Or do you think Legend couldn’t take the humiliation and mockery anymore so he went for face surgery. He’s so handsome I can’t help it but think strange things” Jasmine mesmerized holding her two cheeks and Melody hit her ha-rd on her hand.
“Ouch! Won’t you just leave me be with my imaginations” She pouted ru-bbing her hand.
“Don’t even think about it” Melody forewarned with a frown as the bus got to the bus stop and some students hop on.
“Wait…. Wait….” Grayson and Legend screamed running after the bus because it was about driving off.
“Legend” Melody and Jasmine g-asped out as Legend and Grayson ran into the bus quic-kly.
Melody’s heartbeat raced as she stared at Legend from afar. Legend didn’t even notice her as he looked around for a seat.
“Oh your secret crush is here. Should I call him over” Jasmine tea-sed and Melody blu-shed ha-rd looking away.
“Jasmine stop being silly” Melody blu-shed staring at Legend. She couldn’t get her eyes off him.
FLASHBACK*** When Melody and Jasmine first arrived in Rock Prim junior high.
Melody was been bullied close to a trash bin quarters when Legend arrived.
“You’re not even from a wealthy family, yet you claim to be a beauty queen. Ha! Beauty queen my foot. You’re not even worth my sandals” Some girls bullied her.
“What the heck is going on here” Legend appeared from no where which a frown on his face.
“This is something you shouldn’t concern yourself with so get lost” One of the bullies warned and Legend scoffed then gr@bb£d Melody’s hand gently.
“Try stopping me. She might not be from a wealthy family but she’s way more prettier and smarter than you. With all your riches I suggest you go for a face surgery. You really look like something one can’t define” Legend fired coldly and took Melody with him.
“Dummy, why did you just stand there like that? You shouldn’t let them do that to you. It’s not your fault you were born with a pretty face so why are you feeling inferior” Legend scolded her and Melody felt bu-tterflies in her stomach as she stared at Legend’s beautiful face.
“I can take care of myself. You shouldn’t have gotten involved” Melody protested with a frown and walked out.*** FLASHBACK ENDS.
“Ahhh! Why do I have to remember that now” Melody gro-an ed frustratedly battling her eye lashes as her smile disappeared.
“Yeah…. Keep on reminiscing on that till you say a proper thank you and an apology to him. I can’t believe you did that to someone who helped you. I’m not in talking terms with Legend because I’m so embarr@$$ed about what you did years back” Jasmine lamented obviously ma-king Melody feel even more bad.
“Why are you saying this now? You never wanted to talk or have anything to do with him because you said he was an ugly dude. Try looking for someone else to put the blame on” Melody half yelled.
“Take it easy okay. We’re at our bus stop or don’t you plan on going to school today” Jasmine gesticulated looking at the door as all the students dropped down including Legend.
“You can’t miss a chance like this Melody. Go go go” Jasmine added as she dragged Melody off her seat out of the bus.
“What do you want me to do” Melody asked thorou-ghly chastened as she stared at Legend heading into the school gate.
“Watch me” Jasmine sm-irked.
“No Jasmine don’t do it” Melody protested covering her face, she was feeling so embarr@$$ed.
“Are you sure you won’t do it or you want me to take your crush away” Jasmine added with a silly smile.
“Okay fine, I will do it” Melody affirmed and ran to Legend and Grayson.
“Legend” Melody called out nervously and they turned to her. The whole student couldn’t help but watch Melody because she has never spoken to Legend before.
“Yes, you called me” Legend answered softly and Melody nodded nervously.
“I’m sorry and thank you for the other day you saved me from those bullies and plea-se re-ad this when you’re less busy” Melody fidgeted as she swiftly di-p a letter into Legend’s pocket.
“So she got it all planned” Jasmine grinned as she watched them from behind.
“O ok” Legend stuttered not knowing where that c@m£ from then Melody ran off.
The whole school made that the latest news blog that the beauty queen gave the trending handsome dude a letter, probably a love letter.
“Legend what’s going on” Grayson asked with jealousy written in his voice.
“Do I look like I have any idea. Do you think she wrote me a love letter” Legend said jovially grinning and brou-ght out the letter from his pocket.
“You look very happy that the beauty queen gave you a letter. Go ahead and enjoy your re-ading I’m off to cl@$$” Grayson said bluntly in jealousy then walked fas-ter.
“What’s wrong with him” Legend scoffed not putting much thought into Grayson’s action.
Wait a minute, this writing looks exactly like the ones I see on my desk everyday.
