” Hey Danny sugar ” Celine said as she catwalked over to her bestfriend .
” Celine … What’s up where have you been …? Stefano said you went out with a guy and he hadn’t seen you since then ? Daniella asked as she sat down on her love sofa .
She was clad in a loose shirt and looking s-xy as hell .
It’s been two days after the morreti je-rk had scolded her …. She didn’t mean to interfere between his fight with vincenzo buh who ever could see beyond his coldness would definitely realize just how much he missed his brother .
” Ah it was a guy I met in club , the guy is ….. ” She trailed and Daniella immediately cut her short .
” Please don’t tell me about the s-x Celine …. Thank you ” she said and Celine burst out laughing .

” Wait , the same Mr Rodriguez your mom asked you to meet the other night ? Celine asked putting things together .

” Call who up ? Wait you want me to call Marco ? Danny asked amused .

” He was rude to me Celine , you had to see the way Marco asked me to get out of his kitchen …. If we where dating I’d have broken up with him that instant …. ” Daniella said angrily .
” Okay then you can both as well let pride kill you ” Celine said .
” With honors ” she said and her phone rang .
” Ulala another lover boy calling ” Celine teased .
” it’s Derek … ‘ she said .
” Pick up , buh I’m team Marco ” she said and Daniella rolled her eyes .
” Hello Derek ” she said .
” What , now ? She asked with a chuckle .
” Huh okay ” she said and cut the call .
” Let me guess , you’re going out ? Celine teased .
” Ya ” she said and Celine squiled happily.

” Grandpa Tobi ….” Lenora said as she ki-ssed his full cheeks .
” Have they prepared dinner She asked sitting on the table .
” I think sooooo …buh don’t you think you should be in the kitchen learning how to cook ? He asked .
” Learning how to cook ? Why ? She asked with eyesbrows raised .
” Lenora you’re 19 very soon you’d start a family of your own with wonderful kids and a man who would love you ….”
” For the first few years and start cheating when the loves fade ? She asked with a bitter chuckle .

” Oh c’mon grandpa Tobi , marriage is all about s-x …money power status ….once that’s there …. other things do not matter both pa-rtners can cheat ….they can live their lives the way they want …” She said each word with hate and Tobias felt bad for his poor grand daughter .

” Grandpa why are we talking about marriage ? Look love and marriage do not exist ….marriage is for convenience and emotions like love just bring pain and makes one weak and vunerable ‘ she said as she stood up .

” I lost my appetite Grandpa ” she said and strolled upstairs .
She went into her room and a big family portrait with their complete family stared back at her on the wall .
They looked so happy …Marco Vincenzo Manuel and their parents ….but that was a long time ago …she was just a kid with her favorite doll in the picture …..
That was when things didn’t matter ,when Gilbert hadn’t turned to the beast he was today ….
When Vincenzo hadn’t hurt Marco who stood and supported him throu-ghout .
When Manuel hadn’t lost his true happiness .
When she still believed in the beauty of family .
She sat back on her be-d as her bo-dy shook with emotions and she burst out crying badly .
She missed her complete family .
She missed when Marco would cook for everyone,when Manuel pla-yed the guiter and vincenzo would pick things from Marco’s plates and they’d run around the house ….?
When her parents used to be happy and inlove ….

” Good evening sir …. welcome ” the guests said immediately he saw Vincenzo come out of his car with his suit jacket in his hands and briefcase in his other hand .
He hadn’t come back since the day he left .
The other guy pannicked as he took his boss’s stuffs .
” You’re welcome Mr morreti ” the other one bowed .
Vincenzo matched into his mansion and straight to his room .
He wanted to see Nicole ….de-ep down he wondered how she was ?
He hadn’t seen her after their last encounter because he had important meeting to take care of outside the country .
” Welcome vincenzo ” nanny fair said as she walked over to him with a smile .
He looked around the house for sometime and turned to her .
” Where’s Nicole ? He asked and nanny fair swallowed down nothing .
” She’s …huh .. outside ‘ she said immediately .
” Outside ? Didn’t I give orders not to let her outta the mansion ? He asked .
” She’s stubborn ”
” I know …” He said and took a de-ep breath .

” Come over here papa ” she called the gardener excitedly as she bent to pick the flowers he looked in shock .

” Hey ” she said and he noticed she was happy due to the flowers .
” Nicole you’re not supposed to be out here ? He said angrily .
” Hey why are you frowning your face like the devil ? Is there even a time you’re genuinely happy ? She asked and he rolled his eyes .
” Let’s go inside Nicole ” he said and turned to leave .
” No I’m not going anywhere ,we still have many flowers to work in ”
” It’s not your job ,I have workers for that …” He said .
” Well I’m not doing anything inside so …I’m staying here …right ? She asked the workers who gave a nod and immediately shook their head negativily when Vincenzo turned to them .
” Nicole let’s go inside ….” He said camly .
” No I don’t want to …” She said and gasp in shock when he carried her on his shoulders .
” Vincenzo …..!!? She screamed in shock as he moved inside his staffs stood with jaws dropped .

He felt bad for Jessa , because it looked preety obvious Eli was never gonna feel the same way .

” Wait I think someone is after me ” he said as he cut the call .
Who was tailing his car ? He wondered with a sm-irk .
He was gonna find out ..
He thought as he drove around the person continued to follow him around .
He drove in circles and cornered the person .
He wore his black shades and unlock his car door .
He walked out and someone shut at him immediately he dodged it and .
” fu-ck ‘ he cursed un-der his breath seeing he was out numbered by them .
” Who do we have here ? The Marco morreti ? One of them asked sm-irking .
” In flesh ..” he said sm-irking .
” You bastard ” one of them said and they immediately got into a blood bath .
He brou-ght out two guns from the pocket of his geans as he shut at them skillfully at the same trying to protect himself .
One of the guys shut at him and he cursed un-der his breath as it hit straight at him .
Then another .
He bit his lower li-p as he realized he had to get away ….
He shut at the lead guy and as the others ran after him he looked at his car and realized .they’d punctured his car Tyres.
” Derek I’m on my way ….” Daniella said on the phone as she drove …
” Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah ” she screamed as she’d nearly ran over someone .
She stopped the car in shock and froze seeing someone knock at her car door
She immediately recognized him .
” Marco ” she said un-der her breath as he opened her car door and got in .
” Drive ….”
” Marc….what happened to you ….? She asked shocked as he su-cked his lower li-p trying to bear the pain .
” Ella fu-cking drive ” he said as he leaned back ….
” Sure….
” She said worriedly as she drove off .
She had so many questions on her mind .
Where was he coming from ?
Who where those people after him ?
Why was Marco so stubborn and mysterious ?
She looked back at how he struggled with the pain.
” Don’t go to my mansion .
” What ?
” Take me ….” He said as he brou-ght out his phone she looked away angrily .
” Marco don’t you think I should take you to the hospital ? She asked .
And he just ignored her .
