” Rest ” his words echoed in my ears as I glared at the door where he just exited from .
How could he be so arrogant .
And his shirt , I frowned as I raised the shirt stared at it and back at where he he just left from .
My mind went to the way he peeled the shirt from his body …his biceps and abbs .
” Fvck ” I cursed under my breath as I rubbed my face in frustration .
I succeeded in taking a shower and when I walked out of the bathroom in my robe .
He was sitted on the bed and drinking coffee .
” You haven’t left for work ? I asked with arms folded .
” I’m making sure you arrive safely before I leave ” he said and I scoffed immediately.
” That’s not necessary Mr De Luca , we are only business partners and I can take care of myself ” I said and he smirked .
” I can see that ” he said mockingly and I knew he was referring to the bathroom incident.
I ignored him as j strolled towards the wardrobe and picked my outfit for the day .
” I made you breakfast ” he said and I turned .
” Go serve it to your fiance ,I’m sure she’d appreciate it better ,after all you warned me to control my Ass around you ” I said and he opened and closed his mouth like a fish .
” I should never have cared about a heartless woman like you anyways ” he said and stood up immediately.
” Good cause I don’t look like someone crying for help Mr Cheerful helper ” I snapped and matched in the opposite direction.
” That’s why you’re like this , bitter soul ” he muttered under his breath and I turned with my eyes widened.
” Well why do you care about this bitter soul then ? Save it Dylan …we both know this cat and rat fight between us is just a facade …deep down you can never move on ” I said before I could stop myself and my eyes widened.
” I’ve moved on …I’m not that Dylan who went around hoping you’d take me or love me back ….you killed him with your countless rejections” He said and walked passed me .
” One more thing ,I’m just trying to be Civil with you …of cause I remember my Wife and daughter” he said immediately and my heart squeezed in hurt as he left the room.

I took a cab and when I arrived at the mansion ,the maid invited me immediately .
And I set to work ,I was busy cleaning the floors when I heard a male voice descending the stairs .

I felt his dark gaze burning at my back and I raised my eyes as our eyes locked ,he stared at me for a while .
” Who are you ? He asked cutting the call .
” I’m the new maid ” I said immediately.

” I’d see you during lunch at blue dinner ” he said and I gave a nod , Making a mental note to find my way to the restaurant on time .

” You are late Garcia ” The lead Bodyguard said with a frown as I hung my bag close to my body .
” My wife was sick ” I said immediately as my eyes scanned the room .
” This is not the way you earn the bosses approval ” he said and I gave a nod .
” I’m sorry man ” I and he lead me inside .
There wasn’t much to do around and I noticed most of the guards I met the previous day , weren’t around.
” Where are the others ” I asked and he stared at me suspiciously.
” They’re out , Working” he said and I gave a nod.
” You ask too much questions ” he said and patted my back .
There wasn’t much to do around the company ,we just stood in one spot making me understand that the job was just a cover up .
His guards where just pawns in his shady business.
” Elroy …c’mon the Boss wants you to join his escort ” he called and I rushed over immediately.
” Good day Mr Viktor” I said and he turned to my direction with the shades on .
” Elroy … Welcome on board ” he said and I walked over as I opened the door .
He got in and I joined him as the driver drove off .
We arrived at the expensive looking Restaurant and I escorted Viktor to his sit as he sat down .
I guess he has a meeting or he’s here for a date . I changed my mind when I saw the bouquet of flowers.
Definitely here for a date .
I stood straight as he made different business calls.
Not too long my eyes met Cora strolling into the restaurant.
Wait what is she doing here ? I wondered in suprise.

It’s part of the game ” my mind reminded me .
” Game my foot , that was supposed to be in his Mansion ,not in some fancy restaurant ” I thought as I glared daggers at her .

When I got back she was no longer there , I guess she left already .

After work I bored the public transport back to the neighborhood where we lived .

” Yea she stepped out with Mom for a while ” she said she I gave a nod as I went to our room .
My phone rang . I stared at the caller ID with a frown on my face.
” Sergio ” I said immediately I picked up .
” Woah man chill I’m not Cora ” he said and I pinched the bridge of my nose .
” Was dating Mr Viktor part of the stupid Sh*t ! I bursted angrily before I could stop myself.

” It’s non of our business ,it’s her game besides m…..you have a fiancee and daughter ” he said and I rubbed my face as he burst out laughing badly .

” Sergio we both know it’s complicated ” I said immediately.

It was already dark when she walked into the room .
