” What are you doing here ? He snapped Angrily as he set his files on the table and stared at the ruthless woman in front of him .
” I ……wanted to explain myself Dylan ” she said softly and he scoffed out loud as he laughed.
” Explain yourself ? Isn’t that too late right now ? You Hid things Cora not just things you watched me break down every single time ….” he bursted and she looked away.
” I thought my involement with the mafia was your reason …you lied ”

” You are literally a slave to the mafia Cora …! ”
” I don’t want you anymore ,I’ve learnt to live with the fact that I’d never matter to you in this journey of life …” He said as his eyes stung .
” Dylan I can’t be with you ,I’m a curse … ..I can die anytime. I’m a slave to the mafia. …” She broke down completely .
” Then why do I desire you so much even though it’s wrong ? He asked as he walked close to her .
” DYLAN…..” She gasped as he pulled her into his arms her butts made contact with the table behind .
” Wait …we can’t ..m” she gasped as their lips met in a burning kiss .

” The Goods have gotten to the seaport already, and I’m sure Mr Armando knows what is required of him ” I said to my older brother the Don as I dropped the files on his desk .
He stared at me from where he sat ,in his black three pieces suit ,which fit him perfectly .
He leaned on his chair as he drummed his ring fingers on the table .
Massimo De Luca the ruthless Don of the Italian mafia .
The mafia is not just a place of bloodshed , Guns and Crimes . But a place where only the ruthless and the selfish succeed .
The weak are exploited and the rich got richer ,while the poor get poorer .
I used to think exactly the same until I met the De Luca’s who Adopted me as their son .
I used to be known as the illegitimate son of Mr De Nero .
Who used to be one of the most Dangerous men in the mafia , his mistress Lina Gonzalez happened to be mine and Sergio’s Birth mother who planned evil against the De Luca family but was brought down at the end .
That’s how I ended up adopted by the family after I proved my loyalty .
Santiago and Giovana might not be my birth parents , and although I’m only related maternally to Sergio they all treat me as their sons and there has been no time where I felt out of place or unloved .
Everything is going smoothly ,we’ve encountered a lot of up’s and down in the mafia , but we’ve survived them due to the fact that we always have each other’s backs .
Sergio walked into the office and smirked when his eyes met mine .
” Hey bro ” he said as we shakes hands .
” Don ” he said and dropped the files in front of Massimo .
” We have something very important to talk about ” he said and although he was trying to hide whatever it was I could hear the tensed state of his voice .
” The Shipping at Venice did not go as planned , We lost 5 soldiers ” He said and Massimo rubbed his face .
” Again ? Whatever happened this time around Sergio ! He bursted angrily as he lit up a stick .
And pulled it off the smell filled the room and Sergio ran his fingers in his hair .
” Neomi and I ,got this covered but this time around whoever is trying to get his or her revenge on us has it planned out ” He said angrily .
” This is New ,I mean who would want to fight us ..” Massimo Asked and Frederico the Second son of the De Luca family made his way inside .
” I’m just hearing the news what’s going on ? He asked and it was preety obvious that he was stressed like the rest of us .
” Who do you think is responsible for this ? Have you gotten any warnings or threats as of late ? The Don asked in his calm yet dangerous voice .
” None , Absolutely none and everything has been going smoothly for some months now . Emelio’s Wedding happened smoothly …” Sergio trailed.
” Emelio’s Wedding happened Four months ago ” Frederico said and Massimo drank from his glass of alcohol.
” I’ll call someone ….she’d know what’s going on ” Massimo said and Sergio raised his eyebrows.
” She ? ” Sergio asked curiously as he sat at the opposite Chair .
” Who is this Person that I have no idea about ? He asked and even Frederico and I looked equally suprised .
Sergio has always been considered the smartest and infact he is fondly called the eyes of the De Luca’s because no information gets passed his sources .
His wife Neomi is a Genuis ,so the two handle anything concerning the information and technological Aspect of running the business .
So if he has no idea about what’s going on now ,how possible is it that someone else would know .
” You’re kidding me right ? Sergio asked and the Don raised his eyebrows .
” I’m not permitted to Expose her identity Sergio …she works for me ” He said with that tone that leaves no room for Argument.
” This person works for the mafia , and we all are part of this same mafia bro ” Sergio said and he ran his fingers in his hair .
” Fine if that’s what you all are Eager to hear I’d tell you ”
” I’m taking Cora’s help ” he said and dropped his glass .
I choked at the mention of Cora’s name .
Cora Bermundo …the only woman that has my heart ripped off over and over again till I have nothing left to offer .
How is she involved in any of this ?
I’ve always been unlucky when it came to love ,the first woman I fell inlove with was Anna …I thought she was the one to the point I stupidly proposed .
Just to find out she and my mom had conieved from the beginning just to bring an end to the De Luca family.
The sickest part of the revelation was the fact that she was my mom’s younger sister , Making her my aunt .
I never recovered from the trauma especially when I had to take her life when things got out of hand .
I met Cora just when I thought things were gonna be fine with me ,she was like the Rose that blossom beautifully in the garden .
Beautiful ,smart se-xy and a temper to match . Cora used to be Bella’s manager .
I met her when Kristov and Bella’s relationship for preety Seriose and then we found out she was the illegitimate Daughter of the Bermundo’s and needed protection .
The Don took her into the De Luca Estate and that was the beginning of my doom .
Cora was the forbidden fruit I should never have tasted , But when the Don appointed me as her bodyguard and personal trainer ..
I fell for her …I don’t know how or when but Cora became my addiction .
The way she was Cared deeply for Bella . And the way she laughed whenever She was happy .
Cora loved to put others first ,it’s just so sad that she never did when it came to me .
I always wondered why she hated me ,it always felt like she couldn’t breath in the same space as long I was I’m present there .
But that I made the biggest mistake on the day of Kristov and Bella’s Wedding .

Few years Ago
It’s the Wedding reception of Kristov and Bella and Dylan watches Cora as she laughs With The couple then presents a gift .
She looked Extremely beautiful in her blue dress .
Her eyes met his from the other end and she smiled at him then looked away.
He smirked as he drank from his glass of wine while staring her beautiful body and how the dress did well to reveal her curves .
Cora wasn’t a Slim woman neither would she be considered fat .
She had flesh in the right places and her smartness was just what anyone would notice in first encounter.
” Hey ” Dylan said immediately he joined her in her table .
” Dylan ” she said as she folded her hands immediately .
He smiled at the cute frown on her face as she looked everywhere then at him .
” What ? She asked nervously when she noticed his stare .
” You look really beautiful ” he said and she looked away as her lips curved in
a smile.
” Thanks ” she said and he poured wine into her glass .
” What happened to your Date ? He asked and she stared at him with her Hazel Green eyes .
” I …don’t have one ” she said as he poured into his own glass .
” Perfect then ,I’d be your date for tonight ” he said and she chuckled.
” You’re not scared I will murder you before the end of the night ? She asked and he burst out laughing.
” You’ve told me countless times that you don’t want a mafia man …even if I’ve told you I like you ” He said and she rolled her eyes.
” My answer remains the same Dylan ” she said and drank from her glass .
” Can you be nice at least just for today ” he said and she smiled.
” Fine …friends just for tonight ” she said and he raised his hands dramatically.
The night was still young when they drank themselves to stupor .
” You’re so beautiful ” Dylan said as he stared into her preety eyes .
She smiled as she moved closer to him ,he brought his face close and she joined her lips with his .
He groaned as he tasted the sweetness of vanilla mixed with the Alcohol they had drank for the night .
” Cor….a we should stop you’re drunk I’m drunk ….” Dylan said in between the kisses and she pulled him right back to her .
” Shhhhhhhh” she said against his lips as she smirked naughtily.
” Just kiss me. ..Dylan ” she whispered softly as sent her hands to his sleeves taking it off .
He raised her up as she curved her legs around his waist he carried her into the guest room .
They fought for Dominance immediately her back made contact with the walls they kissed hungrily.
” Dylan ” she cried when she felt him down there .
It was a crazy night of passion as he took her up against the walls … creating beautiful memories she didn’t know existed .
” Dylan ” she cried out in pleasure as he worked his way in and out .
★ PRESENT★
” Dylan are you listening ? ” I heard Sergio’s voice and I snapped back to reality as I rubbed my face.
” I’m fine ” I said immediately and I noticed the Don spare a glance at my direction.
But I didn’t flinch neither did I give away my Emotions.
if I heard anything related to Cora I would always react in pain or hurt ,but right now I feel numb .
I’ve done everything to get her in my life ,to help her fight her inner demons yet she kept pushing me away to a point I nearly got into depression.
” I don’t love you Dylan ,stop doing this ….I only slept with you because …I was h*rny get over it ” her words ringed in my ears and i licked my lips .
” I ….need to get something done ” I said and stood up immediately.
” It’s okay ” the Don said as I walked away
From his office .
I took a deep breath trying to calm my nerves. I could feel it deep down my heart that ache .
As I got closer to my room I heard the faint cry of my daughter And a smile graced my lips .
” Hey Dyl ” Ivy waved in my direction as she carried out daughter up .
” Ruby is being such a naughty girl ” she said and I walked over to them .
” Is everything okay ? She asked worriedly and I gave a nod .
” You’re here ? I asked and she rolled her eyes.
” Before you pannick I’m not staying over ,I know you’re still uncomfortable with me around I’m not forcing things” she said immediately.
” I didn’t say you where forcing ….” I trailed and she chuckled bitterly.
” You need help Dylan. ..you don’t know you need it …but you’re in Seriose trouble ” she said and handed our baby to me .
” Ivy ” I called as she walked into my toilet and banged my door loudly.
” Hey baby ” I called my daughter and she Chuckled as she snuggled close to me my heart warmed up .
Why is she always trying to ruin any bit of happiness I have going in my life .
Cora Bermundo ,I don’t care what your role is in the mafia this time around .
