? Another flashback ?
At eighteen years old, emotionally damaged Logan started to build his empire, bit by bit. He started to make a name for himself in the business world, he was known for his intelligence and cleverness in dealing with business even at such a young age.
Logan only had three people by his side who cared about him. Liliana, Damon and Delaney. They were always there to support his dreams, and help him achieve the fame he sought after.
Delaney loved him so much, she would do anything for him even if meant displeasing herself. But lately, Logan noticed that she was a bit anxious and distant. He didn’t bother talking to her about it because he doesn’t want emotions to get in the way of his work.
Logan woke up one morning to discover that he had lost 70% of his shareholders. He quickly called in his managers and Damon who all swore to know nothing about it.
“That’s not all sir” one of the managers said, shock evident in his eyes as he stared at his phone screen.
“We’ve been hacked. Someone has hacked our system and we’re losing money!” He exclaimed. Logan swiped the phone from him and stared at the screen.
His jaw dropped when he realized it was the truth.
“No! No! What is happening!?” He yelled.
He was losing everything, everything he has been building is crashing before his very eyes and he couldn’t do anything about it.
Things continued to go from bad to worse for Logan, it was clear that someone was betraying him. Somebody have away all his secrets, his pas-swords, everything! He slowly lost everything again, making him vulnerable and helpless.
Logan wanted to rise again, he swore to himself that he was going to be the best, he promised his late family that their name and his name would be feared all over the world.
He started by looking for petty jobs after being rendered homeless. He got employed as a cleaner for a few months. Damon and Liliana joined him in his petty jobs, and returned all their earnings to him. Because they knew what he was going throu-gh.
It was clear to Logan that being nice got you nothing but failure and mockery, he had to be as stone-hearted as possible if he wanted to achieve his aim.
“You’re a very attrac-tive young man” his boss said, in a tone that seemed rather seductive.
“Sir?” He coughed.
“Logan, have you ever asked yourself why I don’t as-sociate with women? I’m into men”
Logan felt his heart sink into his stomach at his boss’s words.
“You’re.. you’re ga-y?” He questioned, his eyes popping out from their sockets.
“Yes. If you can please me, I’ll give you half of my inheritance.. it’ll belong to you. Only if you decide to keep your mouth shut. Nobody can know about this” the finely built man said. Logan couldn’t believe his ears. He had no idea that he was dealing with a ga-y!
“I’m sorry sir but I’m not into men”
“You have to! It’s an order or you’re going to lose your job!” The obviously s3x starved man yelled out and huffed angrily.
“Then to hell with your job!!” Logan scoffed and turned to walk out but two hefty men stood in his way. The grabbed him and for-ced him to lie on his stomach on top of the desk. He screamed and struggled to get lose but the strong men held him down.
He was brutally r@ped by his boss, not once but on several occasions. He was locked up for days and for-ced to give into the beast’s se-xual advances.
Damon and Liliana spent days at the police station, looking for him and filing so many reports. But Logan wasn’t found. Nobody knew where he was until one fateful day.
Logan decided that he has had enough. His boss entered the room to play with his toy again, but unfortunately for him, Logan was prepared.
“It’s time again, Logan. Now be a good little boy and get on all four” his boss said with a hu-ge grin on his face.
“No, not today” Logan growled and attacked him. He had managed to get free from his ropes and jumped on top of his boss. They struggled for good ten minutes before Logan was able to pull out the gun his boss was hiding un-derneath his jacket.
“Logan, you don’t wanna do this, please put the gun away” he pleaded, raising his hands in the air. Logan paid dead ears, he co-rked the gun and fired a bullet into his boss’s skull.. letting him drop dead on the sp-ot.
It was the first time Logan handled a gun, the feeling of hurting someone else gave him a satisfaction he has never felt before.
So he thought, this was the only way. Hurting people, causing others pain and taking away what they love is the only way to get his happiness.
With the loaded gun, Logan found his way outside and shot everyone in sight, he killed the guards, the innocent women and children, he killed them all.
He had to escape to Africa to avoid the police. He started to build his empire from scratch again. He worked ha-rder than he did before, taking down those that tried to come against him. He became a cold blooded killer.
After two years in Africa, Logan went back to New York and took over many businesses, with Damon by his side. He rose to the top, controlling many firms. He got involved in politics, to protect himself from the law. Being friends and a financial help to the head security agents helped him too.
After all he went throu-ghto be where he was, Logan was going to do everything it takes to maintain it, even if it meant being the most heartless person in the world.
? Back to reality ?
“I didn’t know.. I didn’t know that such terrible things happened to you Logan. I didn’t know” Adena sobbed, still buried in Logan’s arms.
He care-ssed her hair and tried ha-rd not to cry. Those memories were very painful and remembering them only filled him with spite.
“Don’t cry, it’s all in the past” he said.
“Is it really?” She asked, looking up at him.
“If it was really in the past like you said, I’m sure you wouldn’t be the ha-rd man that you are” she added and he chuckled.. she was right.
“I don’t know why you decided to share this with me” she sniffed.
“I don’t know either.. maybe it’s because..” he paused and sighed.
He doesn’t even know why. He didn’t know what Adena did to him, that made him open up like this to her. Something that he has never shared with anybody.
“Because what?” She asked.
“Nothing Adena. Now you know my story, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve stopped being my slave” he smi-rked.
“What?”
“What do you think? Just go to bed okay? Sleep” he said, sounding it like an order.
Adena didn’t say anything further, she closed her eyes and tried to sleep but everything that Logan told her that night wouldn’t leave her memory. She would definitely start seeing him in a different light after that night.

The next morning, Adena woke up on Logan’s bed but he was no where to be found.
“He must have left for work” she thought, getting rid of the blanket and climbing down from the bed. She immediately felt like throwing up and ran into the bathroom.
She spilled the content of last night’s food into the toilet bowl and washed her face.
“Ugh!” She Gr0-ned and sat on the bed, feeling weak. She rested her head on a pillow, trying to regain get strength when the door threw open, revealing Logan’s handsome best friend.
“Good morning Adena.. is Logan not here?” He asked, scanning the room.
“I thought he’d be at work with you Damon” Adena responded, raising her head.
“I think he must have gone for a walk or something.. meanwhile, are you okay? You don’t look too well” Damon asked, approaching her.
“I’m fine, just a little tired”
“I hope Logan isn’t stressing you out” Damon smiled.
“No, it’s okay” she sighed, remembering Logan’s past.
“Well, I wanted to see you anyways” Damon stated. Adena was surprised.
“Me? What for?” She asked, wondering what Damon could want from her.
“Yes, you. I’m sure you’re aware that Tyson and Logan are at each other’s ne-cks right now.. I nee-d your help to put it to an end” Damon grinned. Adena blinked at him in surprise.
“My.. help?”
“Yes dear, your help”
