CHAPTER 71 & 72.

★(The chase)★

“Why would you get rid of my baby?” Lola asked and glared at him.

“That thing in your belly is a nuisance” Earl yelled while pointing at her belly.

Lola shook her head and played dumb . “I don’t know how I became pregnant or how I became your daughter?, no father would order his daughter to carry out an abortion”

“Well I’m not like all fathers and I really wish that Hennessy never showed me your picture!” Earl mouthed and sighed.

“Hennessy?”

Lola was astounded to discover that Hennessy had a hand in her abduction, she knew that the woman didn’t like her but doing something this nasty was unimaginable.

Lola was also confused by the claim of this man to be her father, was he really her father?but even if he was, she wouldn’t care.

“You don’t need to know her,” Earl sighed and turned his face away. “I won’t touch the baby for now till I decide what to do with it”

Lola became more frightened and threatened by his words, she had to find a way in order to escape from there.

Earl snarled and walked away but as he reached the door, he said a sentence underneath his breath which Lola didn’t fail to hear.

“I will just sell the baby once it’s born”After saying that he walked out of the room and slammed the door hard.

Lola released the breath she had been holding and clutched onto her belly more tightly.

“I won’t let you touch me or my child” Lola whispered and stared down at her flat stomach.

‘I am f*cking pregnant and my stomach will soon be big, I would also grow fat ‘Lola thought and chuckled slowly.

‘Are you looking for me, Myles?’ Lola thought sadly and looked around the room.“Well, if you don’t find me then I would have no other choice than to figure a way out of here”

Hunt’s mansion>

Myles stared one more time at the wardrobe that had been completely emptied, there was nothing left apart from a petty letter that he thought Lola had left.

Myles shut the wardrobe angrily and reseted his back on it.

He closed his eyes and when he opened it, his gaze fell on the bed. He recalled their nights together without the torture or his harshness, it felt so smooth, soothing, pleasant and sweet to make love and have so much vanilla s*x.

Myles sighed and went to the door that led to his inner room, he pressed the button and once it opened; he stepped in and switched on the lights.

Every part of the room reminded him of Lola. He walked to the places where the ropes are hung and rubbed his hands on them then the wall where he reminisced on their time spent.

He looked out of the inner room and imagined Lola running around the bed and him laughing with her, kissing and playing like kids.

“Why didn’t you leave when I gave you the opportunity?” Myles asked, feeling hurt.

“Why did you have to leave now when I have fallen so deeply in love with you?” Myles asked and buried his face in his palms.

“Sh*t, I hate this”

Slave quarters>

Allison left the house to begin her duties as expected but then she saw Lance approaching.

“Good morning sir” Allison greeted as he drew nearer. She wanted to leave after greeting but he stopped her.

“Allison” Lance called. Allison stepped back then stood in front of him.

“Sir”

“This m…might not be p…proper but I want to ask you on a date” Lance stuttered and scratched the back of his neck.

After the kiss they had and the apology he rendered, he weirdly couldn’t stop thinking about it. There was also an auction that he wanted to attend and he had no one to attend with him.

The person who came to his mind was Allison. Lance realised that it wasn’t worth fighting for Lola after all, she seemed happy with Myles now.

She didn’t need to escape from him anymore, therefore he had to back off and not soil his hand with more blood, especially that of his friend, Myles.

“D…D…Date?”Allison wondered how many times she repeated ‘D’ but she was shocked and nervous.

Her mate was asking her on a date, her wolf was elated by his request.

“Of course,” Allison replied, trying hard not to stutter and embarrass herself.

“Would the master approve of this?”

“We don’t need Myles’s permission” Lance replied and stepped away from her. “I will send you something to wear;I can already guess your size”

Lance smiled and quickly left from there. Meanwhile Allison was still shocked by what had just transpired.

“Is this a dream?” Allison asked herself and tapped her own cheeks.

“This isn’t a bloody dream!” Allison screamed then covered her mouth almost immediately.

Forest>

“I thought that you were really strong but you can’t even defend yourself now” Cameron mocked Jake who was tied to a tree but had been given a substance that weakened him.

Jake simply stared at him, saving his energy for attack, he had the power to teleport; he needed all the strength he could acquire to do that and kill him.

Nathaniel stood by the corner staring at both Jake and unconscious Summer. He was happy that finally he had separated them and would gain the pleasure of killing Jake who was an obstacle to his fame and getting Summer into his bed.

“You might ask yourself, what have I done to this guy to have him loathe me this much?” Cameron smiled and stared at Jake.

Jake didn’t recognise him as a werewolf and truly wondered how he knew these things about werewolves.

Cameron chanted some words and changed into his real self and Jake could now sense him as a werewolf.

“Illusion” Oliver snickered. “it works almost everytime”

Nathaniel was also surprised by it but refused to give any reaction.

“A kid like you does not deserve to be the Alpha over that pack” Oliver muttered and moved closer to Jake.

“It’s too much responsibility”

Jake refused to react but continued acting weak.

“I should be the Alpha and now I’m going to kill you and claim the Alpha power. After that I would kill my Alpha next” Oliver grinned and stretched out his hand, his claws protruded almost immediately.

‘One, two, go’

As Oliver was about to stab him with his claws, his claws entered into the tree. Oliver’s eyes widened.

“Not so fast,” Jake smirked, standing right behind him.

Summer’s ropes broke from her body and she growled, her eyes changed colours and she shifted into a grey and beautiful coloured wolf, the cracks of her bones were painful but worth it. It was her first shift but it would also be murderous.

‘Deal with Nathaniel’ Jake mindlinked her.

Nathaniel shrieked as he saw when Summer shifted;He was about to pick up the gun laying on the floor but Summer ran to him.

“Ahhhhh!!!” Nathaniel ran away. Summer’s wolf, however, pursued him as her next meal.

Jake and Oliver began fighting brutality. One of them had to die for the other to live and become or remain the Alpha.

Earl’s house>

Lola had succeeded in leaving her room without getting noticed and she had made her way to the back door in the kitchen.

She knew that it was dangerous going through the front door, therefore she had to seek for a back door.

‘Finally’ Lola thought and sauntered to the door, she placed her hand on the door handle.

Lola pushed it down and it wasn’t locked, her eyes lit up in excitement. She was about to open it when…

“Where do you think you are going?”

Lola heard the voice and froze on the spot.
