” Fred ” I laughed as he kis-sed my ne-ck softly.
” Im sorry about this morning …I just ….” He trailed .
” It’s okay ….I’m over it …just don’t do it next time” I said and kis-sed his cheek softly .
” C’mon ” I said and we retired to the bed where we cuddled into each other’s arms and eventually fell asleep.
The next morning Fred stared at me whilst I prepared for the office .
” Aria …” He called and I turned to him with a smile.
” Love ” I said and he ru-bbed just forehead .
” I have huh …. something to tell you ” he said and I stared at him with concern.
” Are you okay ? You look so worried ” I said and walked over to him .
” I …huh ….the thing is …I ” he trailed .
” Fred ” I said and he chuckled .
” It’s nothing. ..it’s nothing …” He said and I looked at him suspiciously .
” But you definitely wanted to tell me something ,you looked worried ” I said and his phone rang.
” Hello ” he said and left me in the room .
I waited for him for sometime and when I didn’t see any sign of him I got ready and went downstairs .
” Mom I’m fine and my tutor would be here soon ” Fred said whilst solving some maths on his laptop .
” Hey Grace ” I greeted my sister in-law immediately I saw her signing some docu-ments downstairs .
” Going out ? She asked suprised .
” Yup …” I said and noticed her eyes where fixed to my formal wears .
” Work ? She asked and I gave a nod .
” Oh …you didn’t tell me you wanted to work , I would have found you something on one of our cover up companies or …” She trailed .
” It’s okay Grace ,I actually wanted to work outside the mafia” I said and she stared at blankly at me .
” Do you know how risky that is ? I know being married to a De Luca can be frustrating sometimes but …I think it’ll be more safer to be close to the business” she said and I for-ced a smile .
” I’m not yet comfortable with the business Grace…” I said and she gave a nod .
” The Don wouldn’t take it likely with Frederico though” she said and I wasn’t suprised.
Ma-ssimo has never even liked or approved me for his brother from the beginning anyways and after what I did on our wedding day In the past ….I’m not actually his favorite person .
” I’d be careful I promise” I said and She gave a nod .
” Just be sen-sitive about the your surroundings …” She said and I walked out of the mansion with my bag .
” You going out ma’am ? One if the drivers said and I gave a nod .
” Ya I’m going to work can you drive me down ? I asked and he gave a nod .
As he drove towards the company I work , my mind went back to whatever Frederico had to tell me and I sighed tiredly .
Frederico Likes hiding things too much , whatever it is he’s hiding from me ,I hope it doesn’t ruin us in the end .
” Good morning Sophia ”
“Good morning Lana ” I greeted my colleagues.
” Good morning girls …” I said and sat down on the my chair then opened my laptop .
” Aria actually Mr Luciano asked of you a while ago …” Lana said and I frowned .
Mr Luciano ?
Was everything okay ? The last time I checked I wasn’t supposed to report to him in the first place anyways .
” Was it anything serious ? I asked confused because I just started working here .
” He looked really interested in you. ..I mean in seeing you ” Lana said and she and Sophie laughed .
” I’d go see him then ” I said and got up from the chair as I walked towards his office..
Let’s just hope everything is okay .
I walked to his office and knocked .
” Come in ” I heard a powerful voice from the other end , I took a de-eper breath and walked in .
” Good morning Mr De Nero ,I heard you asked after me ” I said professionally immediately I walked in.
His eyes scanned me from head to toes like he was mentally undressing me ,I couldn’t help but appreciate the fact that I was covered up properly .
I was clad in a white dress shirt and formal palazzo p@n-ts .
My black killer heels and red li-pstick stood out ,I tied my hair in a pony and wore my wedding ring,on my run finger .
I dressed decent and I couldn’t help but wonder why my Boss would look at me in that manner .
Or am I over thinking things ?
” Sir ” I called again and he snapped out of his thoughts.
” Oh please have a sit miss Deluca” he said and I frowned
” Actually sir it’s Mrs De LUCA” I said and he for-ced a smile .
” You are very hot headed Aria …and that’s what attra-cts me towards you ” he said walking towards me and trailed his hands on my shoulders .
I stood up immediately and stared at him with disgust .
” Actually sir ….this is inappropriate and unprofessional ….I’m a married woman and I would not tolerate any form of s-exual gestures from you ” I spat angrily and tried to leave.
” C’mon Aria ….What are you scared of ? I have watched you for years ….and ever since you finally became this close to me , I realized the need to have you ” he said and I looked at him confused.
” I don’t un-derstand what you’re saying Mr De Nero I think you’re mistaken just escuse me ” I said and turned to leave that’s when I felt him slap my A*s .
I froze on my steps and turned , out of Anger I slapped him back .
” You preety little Ingrate ” he screamed and threw me a slap .
I fell to the floor as my back hurt .
” Ah….” I mo-aned from the impact as tears rolled out of my eyes .
” Oh …my God ” I cried out and tried to get up but he kick`ed me right back on the floor and pulled my legs close to him .
” Let me go Luciano
..let me go ” I cried and struggled to get out of his grip .
” Oh c’mon Aria Esposito ,your preety little cries just makes me imagine how sweet you’d taste when I ram into you over and over again” he said and I spat on his face.
” Sh”t” he cursed un-der his breath as he tried to wipe the Saliva off his face .
I removed my heels and hit him Across the face over and over again .
I’m sure I just damaged his preety face .
I ran to the door and tried to open it all to no Avail .
” You think you can escape from me Aria darling ? He asked and the lights went off and on .
” Oh no …. Help somebody help me ” I screamed as I sweat furiously .
” Come on baby let’s have some fun ,,no one would hear your preety little cries ” he said as he became too close for my liking .
I cant let this happen to me Frederico would kill me if this man even dares to touch me .
I should have listened to Rico …I should’ve listened to him .
” Calm down sweetheart ” he said and I pushed his face I tried to get off his grip and he punched my stomach .
” Ah. ….Ah…..” I mo-aned as I fell to the floor.
” Good girl ….very good girl …” I heard his voice as he slowly began to unbu-tton my sleeve .
Sobs escaped my li-ps as my eyes became blurry .

Ma-ssimo hit his hands on the table and we all flinched at how he was furious , like he’d eat us up .
“I thought you where wiser than this Frederico but it just so happened that you of all people had to fu-ck a De Nero What where you thinking ! Ma-ssimo fired at Me whilst I looked at kristov who raised both hands .
I pinched my nose in embarra-ssment .
Dad on the other hand was sitted on the opposite side shaking his head in self pity.
” All your son’s have no control over their di-cks Santi hahahaha” uncle Alfonso laughed.
” Alfie” Dad scolded him .
” That Aside you let her Work outside the mafia …can’t you fu-cking control the woman you married ” he snapped frustratedly .
” Aria is not a submissive woman …” I trailed.
” Then you make her submissive …! He Thun-dered Angrily
” Easy to say though” I muttered un-der my breath.
” Did you just say something ? He fired
” Nothing I said nothing ” I said and Grace badged into the meeting that moment , she looked like she’s ran all the way here .
” You let Aria work outside ? She asked arms folded .
” She doesn’t listen to me ” I said and she rolled her eyes .
” Do you even know whom she works for ? Her life is fu-cking danger right now guys ” she said worriedly .
” What do you mean ? I asked .
” she’s working for the De Nero’s I sent her a driver in other to know where she works and turns out her boss is Luciano ” she said and we all froze .
” Sh*t ”
” fu-ck ” Cursed filled the entire room .
Who didn’t know Luciano DE NERO ….and his love for women , he was an abusive and mad fellow who had no respect for women .
Anyone who knew him in the un-derworld knew just how dirty he plays .
” Aria is Definitely in danger I have to go ” I said and she slapped her forehead .
” I’ve informed Emelio and Sergio and I guess their on their way already , they might even get their before us ” she said and I couldn’t be more thankful as we dashed out of the room .
If I get Aria out of this in one piece , I’d definitely knock some sense into her .
When We arrived at the Company they refused to let us in but When our men opened fire at the security guards that’s when things got bl**dy .
We’d had enough with the De Nero’s and their skims .
” Have you seen Aria …? I asked Sergio immediately I saw him and he looked backwards .
My eyes went with his and I froze
