Harriet’s POV
????”I guess theirs a mixed up somewhere, am coming right away,” I quickly said into the phone before hanging up.
I sat down feeling so dizzy, my head was aching so bad.
“Are you okay Harriet? Williams asked while I just nodded.
“Am going to the station right now, I need to see officer Phil, he said the culprit was arrested,”
” and who was that? Williams and Nigel almost asked at the same time.
“I, I… don’t know that’s why I have to go now,” I said feeling so nervous, my heart was beating so fast. What did officer Phil mean by saying Annie was part of it.
“Am going with you then,” Williams insisted.
“No, you have to stay back with Bianca and beside since you’re Bianca’s donor i guess you’re needed right here.. right Nigel?
“Sure, we need the blood immediately,” he said.
“I will give you a call when I arrive there,” I a-ssured them, then picked my bag and headed to Drake’s ward, I meet him there with his mom, Gina.
“Drake, how are you feeling now? I asked sitting on a chair next to his bed.
“A lot better aunt, what about Bianca? Is she gonna survived this? He asked looking so worried.
“She will Drake. The Bianca I know will scale throu-ghthis,”
“So Drake are you trying to tell me you haven’t seen any of the kidnappers or you can’t recognize them? His mom asked.
“It was Bianca that save me mom, i don’t know how she escaped from her room but she was right on time to save me and then things got so messy, Gary showed up and I shoot him, Annie ended up shooting Bianca too,” he said looking so angry as he clenched his fist.
” they have to pay for this mom,”
“Who is Gary and which Annie are you talking about? Gina asked while Drake glance at me.
“Hmmm… i have to go now Gina,” I quickly stood up and left, am sure they notice how nervous I am. I just don’t want to believe what am thinking right now…
I hurried to the station and meet officer Phil and that’s when he told me about everything. Annie was brou-ght to me and she was in tears already.
“Mom,” she held my hand as she cried the more.
“Do you believe I can actually do this?
“No Annie, but what’s happening? Were you truly the one that kidnapped Bianca and Drake? And what were you doing there? I asked trying to hold back my tears too, this was what I’ve been afraid of- what has Annie gotten herself into.
“Am also the victim here, I don’t know how I get there either, I was ra-ped mom, they all gang up on me and ra-ped me including Drake. Gary was the mastermind behind everything. Please mom you have to get me out of here am not used to this place,” she wept so bitterly.
“You were ra-ped? I asked shocked by what she said.
“Yes mom. Gary was just a casual friend from my faculty at school and earlier today he lure me into following him somewhere, I was so stupid not realize the fact he isn’t the right person to make friends with,
i was as well shock to see Bianca and Drake there too. They all gang up on me and ra-ped me and I was scared when the police arrived I have no option but to run away in order not to implicate myself. Mom i know I can be so stupid and annoying atimes but you have to believe me, am saying the truth,” she cried.
“So how sure are you she’s the one behind the kidnapped? I asked officer phil.
“she’s the suspect for now and we are still carrying our Investigation,” he said.
“Investigation! The person that should be arrested now is that Gary and not my daughter. Can’t you hear her, she was ra-ped so she suppose to be in a hospital and not here,” I yelled at him.
“Not until that Gary is found Annie have to be release am sure she’s done answering whatever questions you asked her. And since you have no prove against her then am sorry we have to go now,” I stood up and held Annie hand as we walked out of the station.

We headed straight to home and I call Doctor Mira to attend to her at home.
” your daughter was brutally ra-ped and there was penetration…
“Doc just do anything you can to help her,” I said walking to and fro at the sitting room. Annie was already Clad in her night robe after taking a long shower.
“Mom, am i going to get pregnant now,” she whimpered while i moved closer to her.
“I don’t think so Annie,”
“Since you’ve taken the appropriate drugs given to you I don’t think there’s any higher chance of getting pregnant,” Mira explained.
“I have to go now I will come here tomorrow to check up on you,”
“Thanks Mira, I said before she left.
“Annie but how did Bianca get shot and why was Drake tortured? I asked.
“I don’t know mom, I was locked up in a room when i was ra-ped,”
“Are you sure Drake ra-ped you too? I asked still finding it difficult to believe that.
“Are you doubting me mom. Drake ra-ped me and am sure of that, him and Gary ra-ped me,” said obviously trying to hold back the tears in her eyes.
Ellen’s POV
I arrived back home not being able to see Bianca, I heard that she was shoot and i just hope she survive. I can’t believe am gonna live so lonely without anyone who will call me mom again. Bianca has become every part of me that i don’t want to lose again, Harriet can’t do this to me, she can’t take the only child I have raise to love so much. I stare at Bianca’s picture on the table and that brou-ght more tears to my eyes.
” I guess this the beginning of another frustration for you,” Jones said angrily as he stood in front of me.
“You have to let go, this is something you should have done a very long time ago but you didn’t and now you have to be the one to suffer for it alone,”
“Everything I did was because I lost Loretta,” I yelled back at him in tears, ”
“you were the causes of her death, you were so evil at heart and you were even ready to let go of your family if only Williams has choose to marry you. So everything that happen to Loretta was your fault.
You destroyed another woman’s marriage and that was why Loretta was gone, my little Loretta was in involved in all the mess. So blame yourself for everything. You claim to love Bianca yet you deprive her of her right to know her real family and live that luxury life, you deprived her of so many things Ellen,” he said in a hoarse voice.
“But i loved her as a mother would,” I said.
“Sometimes love isn’t enough,” he said and with that he walked away leaving me so shattered.
I broke down into more tears as I recalled back every goddamn thing that has happen to me, at first I was willing to help Harriet carry her baby because she once saved Loretta but along the way I realize I was selfish, I wanted to be in her position, I want to be rich, famous and have all the fame and worst part is that I have wrong Harriet in many ways but I was too proud to ask for forgiveness. I just realize I was the cause of all my misfortune- I caused it all!!!????

????Harriet’s POV????
Williams arrived late in the evening yesterday. Thank goodness after series of tests he was just the perfect donor for Bianca and after denoting it for her he returned home late in the evening and that’s when in told him about what happen to Annie.
But I still have that biggest fear in my heart, is Annie actually telling us the truth.
I got dressed ready to visit Bianca at the hospital, I told Annie to stayed back and get some rest.
Throu-ghout the drive was silent and Williams kept stealing glances at me.
“Don’t you think you are stressing yourself too much? He asked.
“I know but you can’t just expect me to sit down at home and do nothing. I don’t know why things turn out this way. Bianca really needs me and Annie need me too, I don’t want her to be traumatized about the whole thing, she was ra-ped and her nude pictures are all over the internet Williams who could have do something evil like this to her in just a day,” I said getting so frustrated about the whole issues.
” I will make sure I get to the root of all these but what I can’t believe here is that why would Drake even think of raping his best friend. I know Annie was his girlfriend but the broke up for some reasons best know to them – but could he have ra-pe her as his payback! Am so confused,”
“You see, that’s what am saying Harriet, all these is having so much effect on you and this might affect your health,’
“I don’t care about my health anymore, I just want to fix my family before I die,” I said wiping the tears from my eyes.
“And just stop reminding me of how sick I am, stop reminding me of my health that’s one of the reason I decide to keep all this a secret to myself, I don’t want anyone to constantly remind me of my health and I don’t want anyone to pity because am doing just fine, am fine! I half yelled at him then turn my face to the window trying to hold back my tears.
“Am sorry if you’re offended about that but am just looking out for you Harriet, am just concern about you and I always want you to know am with you every step of the way,” he said- then halt the engine.
“Why did you stop the car? I asked angrily.
“i just want us to talk,’
“not here Williams, we are running out of time,”
“okay then but you should at least hear me out, you’re not the only one hurt here, do you think i will able to bare the pain if anything should happen to you, am sure Bianca won’t be happy as well.
So it’s not only about you but us too, we’ll get so hurt if anything bad should happen to you Harriet and that’s why i want to look after you, i want our whole family to be complete, let’s have a positive mindset about it please,’ he said calmly, then reach out for my hand and squee-zeit gently into his.
“please Harriet, i don’t want you to leave us behind especially now that the journey is so tough and now that we are still close to have that happy and complete family together once Bianca is awake, i know you can survive this,” he a-ssured me while i pulled him into hug.
“i think you’re the only one who still believe e in me, thank you so much Williams,”
“and you should also believe in yourself,” .
Bianca is yet to be awake but Nigel a-ssured us she’s in a stable condition. I visited Drake in his ward to hear the full story of what happen when the were kidnaped but it was really a different story am hearing from him, different from the one Annie told me.
“gosh! that daughter of yours still have the nerves to accuse Drake of raping her,’ Gina said so angry.
“am so confused here,” i said.
“there nothing to be confused about, i guess Gary has escape and you have to find him as soon as possible, that guy is really a criminal and whatever Annie said are just bunch of lies, she was the one who wanted to have Bianca ra-ped but i saved her time,’ he said.
“you don’t have to trust Annie too much, i know she’s your daughter but she’s a different person from you so try to be thoughtful for once,’ Gina said to me.
“this whole thing is just so confusing.. why will Annie do that,”
“she needed more than enough money to leave the country but i guess her hatred for Bianca was just too much and that’s why she shoot her,”
Drake explained
“she did? i asked more surprised.
“Annie can’t escape this not this time, the more we cover up for her the more she become more dangerous and seeing how desperate she have become am sure she can even think of killing you someday,” he said and the last part of what he said really got me scared..
Drake’s POV????
Mrs. Harriet later left -i know she find it difficult to believe all of this but this shouldn’t come as a surprise to her because Annie once planned for Bianca to get ra-ped and she knew about it, so she shouldn’t
be surprise if Annie was behind our kidnapped and this time she have to pay for it because we almost die and Bianca is still fighting for her life and as for that jerk Gary i hope the cops will find him soon. I walked to the Bianca’s room but stood at the door when i saw how pale her body was with lost of wire connected to her, i felt my eyes clouded with tears as i walked over to her, sitting beside her bed.
“you’ve to get better soon Bianca because everyone is waiting for you and we have lots of things to talk about it,” i said calmly as i took her fragile hand in mine. Even in this condition she still looks beautiful.
“get well soon Bianca, i love you,” i whisper then ki-ssed the back of her hand…
Harriet’s POV????
After the visiting the hospital i later headed straight to work to cool off my head, i wish Annie didn’t involve herself in all these, i don’t want to confront her just yet, she still going throu-ghthe trauma of getting ra-pe and confronting her won’t help issues here.
I arrived home that evening and just after few minutes the cops came knocking on our door.
Annie was at the sitting but freak out seeing those people.
“Annie Gonzalez you are under arrest for the kidnap of Bianca and Drake and also for the attempted murder of Bianca,”
“do you have any evidence for your accusation,” i asked them.
“searching thorou-ghly in the hide out we found out the truth about everything in the CCTV footage, it was her and a guy who were behind it, we have our prove and we can show you everything in the footage if you want you,” he said.
“is that true? i asked Annie who wasn’t saying anything, i moved closer to her.
“am asking you for the very last time Annie, were you the one behind all this? i yelled at her angrily.
“mom…” she cried.
“just answer me and don’t you even think of lying to me again,’
“yes,” she said and i felt my heart shred into pieces, a broken heart that can never be mended.
“i did that because i don’t ever want to live with Bianca in the same mansion,” she cried.
“but she’s your sister Annie, she’s my daughter too- the one i have been longing to see again,”
“she’s not my sister mom, Bianca can never be my sister because we re not in any related to her,” she said so angry while i slapped her.
“she’s not your sister… because you’re not related to her in anyway. Will it be pleasing to your ears in i say am no longer your mom,’ i said, seeing the surprise look on her face.
“please take her away officer, she’s not my daughter too after all she’s just adopted,” i said while the police quickly handcuff her.
“please mom don’t let them take me away,” she cried.
“Annie if you’re going to love me as your mom then Bianca is also part of my life that you need to accept,” i told her but she was quickly taken away by the police, i felt my whole world crushing down on me. Annie has been with me starting from the very beginning – why will she do something like this to ruin my family…
Things are only getting more complicated for me to handle????
