“I am sorry Catty, I am not your mom either” Miss Mona dropped the bombshell
“Wait what?“ Bryce asked shocked.
“Huh?“ Catty said shocked, her eyes watering already.
“Hey, that why I said you are mine, just mine alone” miss Mona said parting ehr hair.
“On Bryce two years birthday, i took him out to make him happy, so he won’t miss the love of a father, on our way back I saw you by the road, crying in your bloodstained wrapped towel, I couldn’t just walk by, so I picked you, I waited , I waited for the police to come, or you parents will find you but no one came, I thought of taking you to the police, but knowing fully well that they won’t you give you back to me if they can’t find your parent, they are going to take you to the orphanage, remembering my life there, I considered keeping you, I love you just like I had loved Bryce, I never wanted to tell you cause am scared you will eave me” she sighed planing her face.
Catty eyes move from Bryce to her mom.
“You two are the best thing that have ever happened to me in my life, I can’t live without you two, so definitely I can’t leave” she said as tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Do you hà te me now?“ Miss Mona asked.
“Are you kidding, how can I hĂ te my mom, I love you more Mom” she said and jumped into miss Mona’s arms”
Miss Mona smiled sadly and hugged her back, she opened her arms inviting Bryce in too.
He joined too hugging the two together.
“Bryce, Do you really want Holly?“ Miss Mona asked as they disengage from ten hug.
“Yes,” he replied.
“I know your dad, will be back for you, maybe I was wrong, maybe it was all my fault that I didn’t still break the news to him that I was pregnant,” she cried and roughed her hair.
“I can make everything right, everything is all my fault,” Miss Mona sighed.
“Mom” Catty called.
“Yes dear” she replied facing Catty.
“Am I old enough to have a boyfriend?“ Catty asked pouting.
“Yes but..“ Miss Mona said and stopped while Catty stare at her with watery eyes expecting her to say not a rich guy as usual.
“Yes,but, he should be a responsible and caring guy just like your brother” she smiled and Catty smiled happily.
She looked at the sad Bryce and move her hand to his cheeks.
“Hey, son, trust me when I say everything will be alright, if your dad never marry your step mom with his heart and really love me like he claims, then trust me now that he find me, he will be here tonight, he will surely find my address” she smirked wiping her tears remembering how he hardly stay away from her during their teen age.
Bryce just nod and hugged her again.

Holly sat down with a bum short and a T-shirt.
The door open and a nurse walk in with a girl.
“She is here to see you Miss Holly” the nurse said and left.
“Hey” Holly said knowing she has seen that face before.
“Hi” Angela smiled.
“Um…” Holly said not knowing what to say next.
“I have nothing much to say sister, just few words, even if we haven’t known each other well” Angela said and sat on the bed, smiling while Holly move away a little.
“Am angela, Miss Emily’s daughter, your sister” she smiled stretching her hand for a handshake.
“Huh?, Miss Emily’s daughter, my sister?,
Holly asked confused.
“Common, I know you know your dad has a mistress but don’t tell me you don’t know its my mom and am your sister?“ Angela said freely.
“Wait, miss Emily is dad’s mistress, how long have they been dating?“ Holly asked immediately.
“I don’t know but I find out since I find my self existing” she grinned.
“Am 17 you?“ She asked.
“Am 19” holly answered staring at her weidly.
“Don’t find me weird, that’s me, am actually a weirdo” she chuckled and tuck her hair behind her ear.
“Mom actually kept me away all this years, saying she is protecting our dad’s marriage, i wonder why she got pregnant of me in the first if she really care about dad’s marriage” Angela scoffed.
“Why did you reveal yourself to me and why are you telling me your mom’s secret?“ Holly asked surprised.
“Because, I don’t want to be like her, in fact I hĂ te my mom” she said angrily.
“I guess we are in same shît, they only care for their self nothing more, I hà te my mom right now, she drugged me for a guy and the bastà rd succeeded in taking my virginity” she said as tears rolled down her cheeks again.
“I heard it too, heard my mom talking to dad over the phone, he said your mom is at the hospital cause my mom sent a message to dad and your mom saw it, she passed out due to shock” Angela said and Holly burst into a laughter.
“Why are you laughing?“ Angeak asked surprised.
“She told me cheating isn’t bad for men cause it’s their nature, why is she passing out?“ Holly laughed.
Tom barge in angrily.
“Holly” he cried running to her.
“Tom” Holly cried and run into his arms.
“Are you okay?, have been searching for you“ He asked.
“He took my virginuty, he abused me, I don’t know if its still intact, cause he wasn’t inside me well when I hurt him” she cried while Angela just watch them rolling her lollipop in her mouth.
“That bastà rd, where is he, I need to teach him a lesson” Tom gritted.
“Its not his fault, I believed it mom, she had promised me this week that Bryan must have me, I think she durgged us both” she cries and Tom lost it.
“Jeez mom, does she even deserve the name mom?, dad told me what happened, he said he is really sorry, that mom took the lead, he also said we have a step sister outside, i cant believe dad was dating Miss Emily all this while ” Tom said.
“Yeah, just find out too, there she is” holly said pointing at Angela who waved at him.
“She really look a lot like me” Tom smirked.
“Whatever I hate the fact that I look like mom” Holly cried.
“So where is Miss Emily now?“ Tom asked.
“She is under the police custody” Angela said smiling creepily.
“Police?, why?“ they asked shocked.
“I record all what she said and hand it over to them” she said and yawned.
“What?, why?“ They chorused again.
“Hey step sis, you should be kissing my feet now, I saved your ass and that of your boyfriend” Angela said and Tom burst into laughter.
“She is indeed our sister” Tom chuckled.
“Well, mom asked the school chef to be adding substance to your food, so you can die and then fix me in your place, she was also planning on stealing dad’s money,then abduct Bryce and elope with him.“ She said and their jaw dropped.
“WTF” they exclaimed.
“Is miss Emily that mean?“.
“Miss Emily love Bryce?“ Holly asked weakly.
“Well from what I know, my mom has been all over the poor boy’s neck asking him to be her lover, promising him a lot of things but he declined telling her he has a girlfriend, and mom find out, it’s among the reason she wanted to end you” Angela said and Holly felt her heart sanked.
Did Bryce really love her so much to turn Miss Emily down for her!.
“I admire you sis, you are lucky, by the way, he is supposed to be here with you where is he?“ She asked and holly face dropped.
She explained everything to Angela and Tom.
“How could you?“ Tom scold.
“Woah, he really love you not to have use you, you shouldn’t have said those words to him” Angela said sadly.
“After what dad said to his mom, he still came, even when you saw injuries on his face, you said hurtful words to him,do you have to vent your anger on him?“ Tom cried and palmed his face.
“Will stay with us forever kid sis?“ They chorused and Angela nod happily.

“Good night Catty” Miss Mona said as she walk out of Catty room, she checked Bryce room only to find him sitting on the bed edge with his head on his hand.
She sighed and left, maybe he need to be alone.
Just when she heard for her room a knock came on the door and she paused.
“It’s 9:00pm, who could be knocking?“ She thought.
She walk to the door with courage and opened the door.
Her eyes widened when she saw Mr Vincent standing at her door step.
“What do you want?, hie did you get my address?“ She asked frowning.
“can we go in and talk?“ He asked his eyes showing a lot of emotions.
After hesitating for a while, she opened the door for him to come in.
He walk in and they sat on the sofa staring at each other awkwardly.
“Um, the boy, is he really my son?“ He finally asked breaking the silence.
“Why are you asking, not like you will care anyway” she scoffed.
“Of course I will do, can let my blood suffer” he said.
Really?,she wanted to yell it at him, that did he know what they went through for 22 years?, but remembering that its not his fault, she keep calm.
“yes, he is your son” she said and rolled her eye ball.
“Am listening” he said and move closer to her.
She gave him a short stare and bit her lips knowing fully well, she has a big fault in it too, and he will surely blame her for it.
She narrated everything to him and Vincent brows creased together.
“Really?, monalisa?“ he gritted trying all his best to keep calm.
“How could you, at least you should have let me know about it” he gritted angrily.
“Its not fault, you broke my heart and I was thinking you would ask me to get rid of it, that’s why..I..I” she stuttered and shut up.
“Really Monalisa, is that what you suddenly thought of me, am now a monster?“ He asked emotionally.
“Am sorry, but I thought you suddenly hate me to push me away just like that for your rich lover” she stuttered as tears come rolling down her cheeks.
“Jeez” Vincent said and roughed his hair.
“I was only doing things for love, am not a monster Mona, I..i..only did that because my dad threaten to hurt you, if I don’t let go, I know what I went through Mona, I felt sick after the wedding, hoping to see you again but I never did, I thought you have moved on, but I swear, I never for once forget about you” he said as he was already squatting at her front.
Miss Mona face were streaming with tears as she cried more.
“I am sorry, I was just mad at you and I let my emotions take the better part of me, I am really sorry Vincent” she cried and Mr Vincent slowly pulled her into his arms.
“I am sorry too, for not trying everything in me to stand up and fight for my love” he cried as he hugged her to his self.
“What about your wife, you should be with her, what if she looks for you now?“ Mona asked.
“She passed on after giving birth to Delila” he said sadly.
“Oh, I am sorry” miss mona cooed.
She moved closed to him and placed her head on his shoulder.
“I am really sorry Mona” he said and pecked her forehead as they sat on the sofa together with her head on his chest.
They slept off in that position.
Bryce smiled as he watch them from his door step.
“Seems mom can really make everything right” he muttered and walk inside and closed his door

“Wait, why are you smiling too much this morning?“ Catty asked noticing the big smile in Bryce face.
“Nothing” he said and quickly keep a cold face.
“You are lying, you are up to something” she said.
“You will find out later and you will join me in smiling” he replied and dashed into the kitchen.
Miss Mona yawned and placed her head on miss Vincent chest again, its been long she felt this, she have craved for this all this while.
Their eyes flip open only for it to land on Catty who was staring at them with a big smile on her face.
They flinch and quickly sit up.
“Um, Good morning mom, Good morning dad” Catty greeted and they two stare at her awkwardly before answering.
“Morning dear” they chorused nervously.
Bryce walk out of the kitchen with breakfast in his hand as he heard for the dining.
“Let eat and talk more, mom and dad” he smiled and Mr Vincent smiled happily.
Maybe its wasn’t really Bryan and Delila fault they are spoiled.
Its all his fault, he should have taken care of them well, after they lost their mother.

Holly kept looking around like she is expecting someone.
“Are you expecting anyone?“ Angela asked.
“No” she lied as she fiddle with her finger.
They are parking and will be heading home soon.
She just returned from her mom’s ward.
Mrs Donald asked for her forgiveness but she refused to forgive her.
Its gonna take time to heal, how can she forgive her now?
Yes she is going forgive her mom but it will take time.

“Am sorry brother, i realise all this was just so stupîd, I regretted partaking in it” Delila cried sitting beside Bryan.
“Its my fault too, I should have listen to my heart and ignore Miss Donald’s pressure, instead I let my hormones take the better part of me” he sighed sitting up.
Luckily he is getting better and will be freed soon.
“By the way, where is Mae” Delila asked.
“She went to check on her parents, so I called this morning and freed her” he said.
“In was thinking of that too, I want to turn a new leaf, I hope Tom and Holly forgive us though” Delila cooed sadly palming her face.
The door open and Mae walk in slowly.
“Hi Bryan” she smiled.
Bryna couldn’t reply cause he was dam shocked.
“Sorry I came back, maybe I am addicted this time, I missed you last night” she stuttered timidly.
A smile crept into Bryan’s lips as she approach him.
Delila excused them and went out, while she sat on his bed edge.
“Sorry I wasn’t there to stop you from letting your hormones control you” she cooed pouting her lips
“Sorry, I never show you my true feelings, sorry I always let my hormones control me” he apologized as he rub her cheeks soothingly.
“I..l..ove” she stuttered in fright wondering weather to say it or not.
“I love you too Mae” he said and they engaged in a short romantic kiss.
They sweet moment was disrupt by Holly.
She walk in to meet them.
“Sorry” she apologized.
“Its nothing” Bryan said.
“Um” they both said and stopped.
“Am sorry for what I did, its was completely inhuman” Bryan apologized.
“I am sorry for never been there for you, am sorry for what I did to you,my mother is the root of everything though” she apologized too.
“I may be leaving the country next week, I will be going back to Germany to continue from where I have stopped” she said and he nod.
“Please do forgive Bryce, he didn’t do anything wrong, dad call to tell me they are moving in with us cause he is my brother and his mom will be my step Mom, i dont know yet but they will gibe me further explanation when i get home ” he said and Holly felt something hit her head.
Could that be really true?
Is that why he is having same hormonal problem with Bryan?.
“By the way, Shane and jerry are officially dating now” he added.
Holly didnt wait for further information as she rushed out to meet Tom waiting for her in the car.
She wanted to tell him to drive her to bryce apartment, but remembering those hurtful words she said to him, all the excitement died down.
She picked her phone and dialed his contact, but he is not responding.
Tom take a u turn as he was already on the road.
“Are you okay?“ Angela asked and she nod.
“But you are sweating” Angela cooed.
“Am fine” she lied.
Tom got to his house and he halt, they stepped out and head for his sitting room.
The walk into the ditunv room to meet Catty and Bryce sitting on the sofa watching movie.
“Hey man” Tom said and exchange handshake with him.
Holly watch them dumbly.
“Bryce?“ She called almost in tears.
“Hey glue” he smiled and she run into his arms.
“I am sorry,” she burst into tears setting his cloth immediately.
“I am sorry for blaming you, I am sorry for..“ Her words were cut off by his kiss.
“Hey its okay, I know you were just mad that all” he smiled wiping her running tears.
“Beside I love you not your body or your virginity” He said stroking her hair.
She stare a his face and hugged him again.
“Tom and Angela planned it last night” he whispered to her ear and she shot those two a funny glare.
“I have missed you” Tom said and pulled Catty into a hug.
“Me too” she replied.
“Awwn, I think I should chill in the room and check them out” Angela said and we’ll upstairs.
Tom held Catty’s hand and walk out too.
“Guess what?“ Bryce asked Holly after narrating everything to her.
“Am not a good guesser” she blushed.
“According to dad, he said the marriage between you and Bryan will be canceled cause it was like a contract that is supposed to strengthened the bond between him and your dad, now am taking over, so its now set that we are getting married” he explained and she jump on him happily.
“Tell me you are kidding? She cried.
“Am serious” he replied.
“I was thinking of going to Germany by next week to continue my life there, why don’t we go together?“ She said.
“That’s a good idea, then we continue our college there what do you think?“ He added and she nod immediately.
“I love you Bryce” she said tucking her behind her ear as she wrap her arms around his and her keg round his waist neck while he wrapped is arms round her waist
“I love you too Holly” he replied as they engaged in a slow romantic kiss.
He was a poor guy hoping to make his mom proud one day, but she a glue came into his life and make many hidden things around him unhidden making everything to change once.
