“Ronny..” Veera said drun!kenly, she almost fell but Kingsley ran to hold her
“You’re a fv¢king bastard” Kingsley said
“Say what you like, I don’t care” Ronny replied
“Ronny how could you… ” Ryder said beside him
“You can go for her if you like her” Ronny interrupted and left the lounge immediately
“That as-s.hole, he’s so dead when I get him” Kingsley said, heaping Veera in his arms and taking her out of the lounge
“That was… harsh on V” Love said
“I wish I can teach him a lesson for saying that” Jewel said
” Tonight got ruined, how will Veera feel? ” Pearl said
” She’s drun!k, she might not remember anything” Love replied
They all walked out of the lounge and met Kingsley by his car about to drive home
“She won’t remember anything when she wakes up right?” Jewel asked
” She will, she’ll remember everything immediately she wakes up , her memory is just… Sharp” he replied
“Take care of her plea-se” Love said
Kingsley only entered his car and the driver drove him off
“I hope she won’t be broken, Our Veera” Jewel said
“She’ll be ok” Pearl said
” I hope so” Pearl replied
In the lounge**
“Are you into Kingsley’s witch? ‘ Jasmine suddenly asked Richmond
“Why did you ask? ‘ Richmond replied
” It seems like it, you were staring at her” Jasmine replied
” Is it obvious? ” Richmond asked
” Well your facial expression when you were staring at her said it all, it’s so obvious that you’re really really into her, in love again huh?, I can never fall In love again, not after what Jasmine and Artemis did to me” Jasmine replied
” Jax, I think you’re right, I’m really really into her, I don’t just know how it happened but… ”
” I un-derstand” Jasmine interrupted
” You aren’t over Jasmine yet? ” Richmond asked
” I’m over her, since a long time ago, but the heart wound she inflicted on me is still there, and that’s why I’ll always say that I can never be in love again, till the end of the world” Jasmine replied and drank from his cu-p
Richmond looked at him and drank too
“What should I do?” He said
“Tell her, if it won’t cause a rift between you and Kingsley” Jasmine smiled and looked at him
” You know about him too?” Richmond asked
“Of course, the idiot feels something for her too, but I guess he hasn’t realized” Jasmine replied
” I’m scre-wed” Richmond said
“But I won’t mind watching some drama, you guys should fight” Jasmine said
“fv¢k you” Richmond said and Jasmine smiled

“What made you do that?, How can you just disgrace her publicly like that just because she confessed to you, are you a fool?” Ryder said, blocking Ronny’s way just in front of the lounge
“Look Ryder, you like her right?, Then go for her and make her yours” Ronny replied
” Ronny you once told me you find her cute, is it a sin to fall in love with you?, You broke her heart” Ryder said
” By now Kingsley should be boiling with anger” Ronny smiled
” Wait, don’t tell me…”
” Yes I did it to infuriate Kingsley, happy now?” Ronny interrupted
” You mean you said those hurtful things to her just because you want to intensionally annoy Kingsley?, You’re one thoughtless guy Ronny” Ryder said
” Rant all you want, I’m off” Ronny said and made to enter the car but Ryder held him
“Must you always behave like an idiot?, Ronny you nee-d to apologise to her” he said and Ronny sm-irked
*No” he said and re-moved his hand from Ryder’s hold before finally getting into his car
His driver drove him while his guards drove behind him
He drove off and Ryder hit his hand on his car bonnet angrily
“Ronny!!” He yelled
” Drive me home” he told his driver who obeyed immediately he entered the car
He was restless althrou-gh and he tried her line countless times but she’s not picking
He decided to try one last time before giving up and luckily she picked
“Veera, are you ok?” He asked hastily
“And why the hell will you ask her that question” Kingsley’s voice said.
” Oh, s£nior Kingsley, how’s she?” He asked calmly
” Why are you asking? ” Kingsley asked again
“I’m just… Worried’ Ryder replied
“Your bloody Ronny will surely pay for what he did I swear it, I know he intensionally did it to make me angry” Kingsley said
” Just tell me how Veera is doing alre-ady” Ryder replied impatiently
Kingsley hung up on him without uttering another word

The Brown’s, next morning**
Veera woke up to a slight headache, the usual one anytime she drinks
“I drank again, I guess I really can’t st©p myself from drinking, I’ll do it till I die” she thought as she got down from the be-d and left her room
” You’re awake? ” Kingsley’s voice said behind her, he’s just coming out of his room too
“Big brother” she pouted and went to him, she gave him a morning hvg
“Hey, why do you seem ok?” Kingsley said
She detached from him and faced him
“Am I supposed to not look ok?” She asked
“No, I just mean…you were drun!klast night and….”
” It’s not the first time I’m getting drun!k, st©p being like this’ she said and smiled cutely
“Ronny is a bastard” Kingsley thought, looking at how pretty Veera Is
“I nee-d to prepare for school” Veera said, ma-king to enter her room
“Why don’t you rest for today?” He asked
“I’m not re-ady to stay at home without seeing my babies” she replied and stole a pe-ck from him before entering her room
An hour later, after a light breakfast**
*Let’s go to school together” Kingsley said
” Strange, is something wrong?” She asked
” No, let’s just ride together” he replied
She smiled and held his hand. ” I love you” she said
*I hate you” he smiled and they both left the house together, got in the Benz and the driver drove them to school
Kingsley kept wondering why she didn’t remember anything this time around till they got to school
Walking on the hallway with her, Kingsley started hearing comments and quic-kly plugged headphones on Veera’s ears
“I hate listening to songs in the morning” she complained
” You love me right?, Then do it for me” Kingsley replied
? she’s so shameless, can’t believe she still c@m£ to school after getting disgraced
? Last night was fab, Veera Brown got disgraced
? You nee-d to see how Ronny rejected her, the video is on the school blog, Halsey posted it
? Veera is just… worthless
That p@rticular comment drove out the anger in Kingsley
He rushed to the girl who said that and gr@bb£d her shoulders ti-ghtly, doing the hitting on the wall stuff and that made her g@sp in pain
“One more word from you and I promise to do something you don’t expect” he said seriously
The girl trembled obviously un-der his hold and can’t seem to look him in the face
Kingsley looked back at Veera and saw her phone on the ground, it obviously fell from her after she watched the video of how she confessed to Ronny at the lounge last night
Now she remembers everything and she un-derstands why Kingsley has been acting weird
“Veera…”
Kingsley wasn’t chanced to say the rest when she ran out of the hallway with tears in her eyes
Kingsley ran after her till she got to the parking lot, she entered the car and told the driver to take her home and he obeyed immediately
Before Kingsley could get there, she’s alre-ady out of the school
Kingsley rou-ghed his hair frustratedly and went back into the school, straight to the junior block
“Ronny Bennett, follow me” he said
Ronny stood with a big annoying smile on his face and followed him without arguing
“What do you think he’s gonna do to him?” Love asked
” Probably make him bleed for doing that” Pearl said
“He won’t do that, Ronny is the president’s son remember?, He’s richer than Kingsley” Jewel replied
” St©p acting like you know much about Kingsley” Pearl replied
” Huh?” Jewel said
” Kidding” Pearl replied and smiled but it later turned to a frown after she looked away
“We should go see Veera after school” Love said
“But we don’t know her house” Jewel said
“You can ask Kingsley since you’re so close to him” Pearl said
“Pearl why are you talking like this?” Love said
” Well, they both seem close, aren’t I right Jewel?” Pearl said, facing Jewel straight
” Why that look?” Jewel asked
” Sorry sis” Pearl replied and looked away, ma-king Jewel wonder the reason for her behaving like this
“Will Kingsley tell you if you ask him?” Love asked
“I’m not sure” Jewel replied

Back of the Juniors block**
Kingsley faced Ronny who has an arrogant look on his face
“How dare you say that gross statement about my sis” he said
” It’s just the truth, I hate skinny and she’s one, so?” Ronny replied
“If you’re my mate, I’d have dealt you with punches right now but I don’t punch my juniors” Kingsley said
” Well you can try that and get locked up by my dad” Ronny replied arrogantly
” Because you’re the president’s son, is that why you’re being a ragamuffin and arrogant?” Kingsley said
” we both know that you’re more arrogant, you turned humble just because she’s your sis, but it’s great to see the great Kingsley Brown angry with nothing to vent his anger on” Ronny replied
” I just hope you won’t regret this” Kingsley said and left the place, knowingly hitting his arm on Ronny’s
He c@m£ across Jasmine and Richmond just at the base of the stairs
“Where’s she?” Jasmine asked
*She left, and I’m following her, I hate seeing her tears” Kingsley replied.
” What about Ronny?” Richmond asked
“The arrogant dude did that cos of me, and I have to do everything possible to make Veera happy again” he said
” We’re coming with you” Jasmine said
“No you both should stay” Kingsley replied
” Ok I’ll stay, you should go with Richmond” Jasmine said
Kingsley looked at Richmond for a while before leading the way to the park, Richmond followed him while Jasmine went back to clas-s
They got to the park and drove off in their respective cars before Jewel could get there
She breathed ha-rd and loud
“Gosh, should I call him instead?” She thought

Night, The Hales**
The triplets has tried Veera’s line countless times but she’s not picking
Jewel called Kingsley too but it’s same, he’s not picking too
“Veera will be so hurt, I can’t imagine her tears,she’s too fragile to be treated like that by bloody Ronny” Love said
” I’d have tackled Ronny but he’s the president’s son, I can’t” Jewel said
” Now what do we do?” Pearl asked
” I don’t know” Jewel replied
They all relented sadly and Love went into her room immediately
Jewel did her as-signments and when she found everything boring, she decided to watch Kingsley’s video and laugh a bit
She got her earpiece and plugged it in her phone then started watching the video and it worked, she laughed after watching it over and over again
She felt thirsty and went to the freezer to get water but there’s no cu-p so she has to go get it in the kitchen
Pearl got curious of her earlier laughter again and checked her phone
Seeing that she has retrieved the video and pictures, she rolled eyes and deleted it again, she went to the media trash and deleted it from there too so she won’t be able to retrieve it then went straight to her room
Jewel c@m£ back and poured herself some water then drank before coming back to her phone but surprisingly the video is gone, even the pictures and it’s not even in the media trash this time around
“I must change phone tonight, why is it deleting things by itself” she said, thinking it’s the phone’s fault then went in to get her debit card
“I’m going to get a new phone” she said to Rosie who’s alre-ady preparing to sleep in her room
Beverly is asleep alre-ady and Joey is not back yet
“It’s late, wait till tomorrow” Rosie said
“No mum, I can’t put up with this phone anymore, I’ll be back in thirty minutes” she said and left Rosie’s room to Love’s room
“I’d have followed you but I’m writing my as-signments” Love said
” It’s ok baby” Jewel replied
She got to Pearl’s room and Pearl pretended to be asleep so she left the house and decided to trek to the nearest sto-re
It’s fifteen minutes walk but she just wants to stroll

The Browns**
Veera won’t open her room door, won’t talk or see anyone, she just kept crying in her room no matter how much Kingsley pets her by the door
Kingsley had attem-pted to break the door but Richmond st©pped him
“Don’t do that, give her sometime, let her cry it all out first, just be patient I know you don’t like this but let her be for now, it’ll help” Richmond said
Kingsley relented and went back downstairs
It’s late alre-ady but it seems Richmond won’t leave till Veera opens up, like he’ll sleepover
“Have you seen my phone?” Kingsley suddenly asked
” un-der that pillow” Richmond replied and Kingsley had to lift the pillow before picking the phone
“Witch called me?, Can’t believe I missed ten calls from her” he smiled
” You have her number?” Richmond asked
“Sure” Kingsley replied and Richmond drank from the cu-p of water to calm himself down
Kingsley immediately dialled Jewel’s number

Jewel is alre-ady coming back home after getting the phone when Kingsley’s call rang on her phone, she has actually inser-ted her card into the new one
“Hey j£rk” she smiled.
“Hey witch, why the calls?, You don’t own my phone you know” he said
” I don’t have your time tonight, how’s Veera doing?, I was calling to ask that and also ask your home address” she replied
” She still refused to talk to anyone but I’ll soon end her crying , but about our address, what will you be giving me in return if I tell you?” He replied
” St©p joking j£rk, just tell me alre-ady, I nee-d to come see my baby tommorow” she replied and noticed three guys behind her
She as-sumed that they’re just walking behind her coincidentally but when she st©pped and they st©pped too, she got alarmed
“I can’t tell you my address for free” Kingsley said on phone
“j£rk, there guys are following me right now” she said, walking fast and looking back, they’re walking fast too
“What!, Where?, You’re not at home?” Kingsley asked
” I actually went to get a phone and I’m on my way back home” she said, sprinting lightly, getting scared
” Calm down, where’s your street?” Kingsley asked
” Daeyun-su, not far from the newly constructed sto-re right now” she replied, running alre-ady and the guys started running after her
“They’re coming after me I’m so scared!’ she said fearfully and her phone mistakenly fell from her hand as she hid beside a car that’s parked beside the road
The three guys ran past her and she waited for five minutes before coming out, little did she know that they’re still there
“Got you!’ one of them said and before she knew it, they gr@bb£d her and dragged her to a corner
She’d have defended herself it it’s one guy but they’re freaking three, she got scared a lot and when one of them hit her face, she fell and spit blood
“Don’t hurt me I’m begging” she said but that only earned her another hit from the second one
She was hit again and she spit blood again, even her nose bled and her face got swollen fast
“plea-se don’t do anything to me, just let me go” she pleaded painfully
Her swollen red face hurts
“Your bag” one of them said and she handed it to them
They to-re her bag and took her purse then took the money they found there and her debit card
“Say your account pin” the third one said
“Huh?” She said and that earned her yet another sl@p
“Your pin!” The first one yelled
“You’re….so dead” a voice said from behind and they turned back
Kingsley and Richmond are standing there gallantly
“Oh, the rich idols?, You wanna die?” One of them said
” You guys will get wounded” Richmond said and advanced towards them with Kingsley
They attacked with punches and kicks but surprisingly the guys held knives so it was difficult at first but later, they were able to kick the knives from them and gave them real kicks and punches, ma-king sure they pas-sed out
Richmond is breathing heavily by the time they’re done and when he felt a slight pain in his arm and checked, there’s a wound there, probably by the knife
Kingsley rushed to Jewel and bent beside her..
“Are you ok?” He asked but she only stared at him
He noticed she’s wearing armless and took off his jacket then covered her with it
He helped her up and stood facing her
He saw her swollen face clearly and felt no nee-d to ask if she’s ok again, she’s definitely not ok
She revealed that by letting out her tears
“It’s ok” he said and pu-ll-ed her into a hvg, she continued crying on his shoulder
Richmond quic-kly turned his back on them, unable to watch the scene.
