“Why did you fv¢king have se-x with me when you were d@t!ngJulia!!?” I yelled.
He bit hisl-ips ha-rd .
“And don’t you dare tell me, its cause you are a bad boy”
He looked away before looking back at me, with that serious look.
“Why not ask Julia, yourself? She has the answers to your questions” He replied, with a serious voice too.
“No,, I want you to tell me” I quic-kly said.
“I thought she’s your roomie. Ask her yourself” He said, and left.
I folded myl-ips and inhaled de-eply. I looked around and saw the ultimate darkness. I even heard the loud ch!pping of insects.
It was scary.
“Wait for me!” I yelled and ran off,, to meet him.
The Next Morning**
It was a Saturday so there was no lectures. I stayed back home and so did, Julie.
We prepared cornflakes and slowly ate from our fancy looking bowls on our different be-ds.
“Rose?” She called.
I looked at her.
“How was it?” She asked.
I ate another spoonful and swallowed it before asking;
“What?”
“Yesterday night. I mean the club” She muttered, looking at her bowl.
“I don’t know” I answered.
She looked at me and chuckled.
“Hey,, why wouldn’t you know?”
“I was f0rç£d there so there wasn’t a possibility that my mind would be there” I said.
“Oh,, Dana and Ann at their worst again. Don’t pay attention to them next time and just simply ignore them”
I nodded.
“Will do that”
Julie nodded and tried to take a spoonful of cornflakes into her mouth when my statement paused her.
“I saw Axel at the club” I said.
She blinked her eyes and slowly took her hand down. She dropped the spoon back into the bowl and looked at me.
“And why are you telling me that?” She asked, with a f0rç£d smile.
“Why? You hate him now?” I asked.
“I’m okay… Don’t want to eat anymore” She said, and stood up. She dropped the bowl on the table and covered it.
She tried to leave…
“Why not tell me why you gave him your vir-ginity? Did he f0rç£ you?”
She quic-kly looked at me.
“He’s not the type to f0r磅”
“So, why? Why are you being a coward”
“What?… Hey,, watch your mouth” She warned.
“Julie,, tell me everything. Like fv¢k,, I think everyone knows but why can’t I?”
“Cause we aren’t close?”
“We are at least roomies” I said.
“Roomies aren’t closies” She said, and opened the door.
“If you tell me what happened,, I’m gonna tell you what transpired between I and Axel… before we even met in school”
“What’s that?” She asked, before turning her eyes to me.
“You curious right? What to do? I’m curious as well” I smiled.

Julie sat on my be-d, and I looked at her though her eyes fell on my be-d.
“It happened on July 13th” She murmured.
My eyes opened wi-dely. July 13th? That was I and Nolan’s first anniversary. That was the day I sle-pt with Axel….
“So,, what happened?” I asked, with my wi-de-ned opened eyes.
“Firstly, let me start from when he asked me out on a d@t£. I was falling for Axel then,, even though he had a girlfriend. The day he broke up with her, everyone knew about it and I was so happy. His girlfriend was actually Dana”
“I went to his hostel one night to give him food when I decided to pour my heart to him”
Flash Back***
Axel was on his be-d, ma-king a tiktok video when he heard a knock. He looked at the door angrily, with his brows arcing. He wasn’t expecting anyone so who could that be?
“Who’s that?” He asked, and kept his phone. He slowly walked to door and opened it.
For the first time, Juile’s eyes locked with his. He looked at her from head to toe before asking;
“Who are you?”
“I’m Juliet” She answered.
“I don’t know you” He said, keeping a straight look with her.
Julie blinked her eyes.
“Wait… Are you the Dana and Ann’s lackey?” He asked.
Julie blinked her eyes.
“Cause I follow them?… No,, I’m not their lackey” She shook her head.
“They are really annoying. So, why do what they ask you to. They pressure you a lot. Why are you even so submissive to them?”
Julie looked down.
“What are you doing here by the way?” He asked.
Julie said nothing. She stretched her hand towards him. She was holding a polythene bag.
“What’s in there?” He asked.
“A food flask. I prepared some dishes and decided to share them with you”
“Oh,, I see. Thanks” He said, and took it.
Julie looked at him for a while and looked down. Axel inhaled de-eply.
“Is there anything you wanna say?” He asked.
“Huh?..No” She replied.
“Okay then” Axel replied, and made to walk away but Julie quic-kly gr@bb£d his arm.
He slowly turned to her.
“What’s it, Juliet?” He asked.
“I like you, Axel” She confessed, slowly,, looking down.
Axel looked at her after looking at her hand. He wasn’t moved cause he wasn’t surprised.
“So, what do you want?” He asked.
“d@t£ me” She whispered.
“I d@t£ girls with unique names” He whispered.
Julie slowly looked at him.
“What?” She whispered.
“Don’t you think Juliet is old fashioned?” He whispered.
Julie slowly let her hand sl!paway from his.
“That’s my name and I think I like-
“What do you think of Julie?” He asked, with a smile.
“What?”
“Julie. I like that” He whispered.
Juliet swallowed ha-rd .
“Okay then. I like it too,, Julie”
He nodded and stro-ked her hair.
“Julie, If you can’t beat them,, why not join them”
“Huh?”
“I’m talking about those two. Dana and Ann”
Juliet blinked her eyes and looked at his che-st.
“By the way,, I can’t eat this alone,, you wanna join me? Come on in”
Pres£nt Time**
“That was when I knew he accepted my request to be my girlfriend” Julie explained.
“So… You got these piercings and tattoo and even changed your name cause of Axel. You fv¢king changed your lifestyle cause of him?” I asked, blinking my eyes fast.
“Yup” She nodded and I shook my head.

“So… You got these piercings and tattoo and even changed your name cause of Axel. You fv¢king changed your lifestyle cause of him?” I asked, blinking my eyes fast.
“Yup” She nodded and I shook my head.
“Anyways,, can you just go on?” I asked.
Julia nodded.
“When I met him, I was still a vir-gin…”
“We finally started d@t!ngand I felt I was on t©p of the world. I was so happy”
“But,, my heart began to palpitate each time he asked for se-x. I was fv¢king scared and just wasn’t re-ady. It happened I promised him I would have se-x with him on the 13th of July…

Axel’s Lodge, 9:47pm**
Axel left Julie who was sitting on the sofa. Her face was made up with powder andl-ipstick. It fitted her so well and brou-ght forth her beauty.
He was at the table ma-king late night coffee for them both.
“You look pretty today by the way” He said, without looking back at her, since he was busy with coffee ma-king.
Julie stared at his back and smiled.
“Thank you”
“But… don’t you think the piercings are a little too much?” He asked.
“Huh? You don’t like them? Dana and Ann made me up and gave me piercings. I heard you like girls with lot of piercings”
Axel took the tray of coffee and walked to her. He sat close to her after keeping it on the table.
“Not really. I just love girls with tattoos more” He said.
“Why? You don’t have a tattoo so why would you fancy a girl who has a tattoo?” She asked.
“Do you know my favorite flower?” He asked, and took his cu-p of coffee which he sli-pped into his mouth.
Julie watched him.
“No… Sunflower? Hyacinthus? Hibiscus? Chrysa-
“It’s a rose” He cut in and kept the cu-p back on the table.
“Why didn’t I think about that? I thought it was a simple and plain flower? Never knew you like roses. I mean,, everyone knows about the flower. It’s overrated though it beautiful”
“I don’t like roses cause it’s a flower or its’s beautiful”
“Then, why do you like roses?” Julie asked.
“It because it’s easy”
“What? Easy? I don’t un-der-
“Rose is very easy to spell. It’s really easy to get one at the shop. It easy to see them on the garden. It easy to plant and take care of them”
“Huh?”
“Roses… Everything about rose is easy. I like easy things… you know why?”
Julie locked her eyes with him and said nothing. He sm-irked and carried her to his th!ghs. She swallowed ha-rd nervously, feeling his heart beat.
“I like easy things because it’s not ha-rd getting them. Roses are cheap too” He whispered, and took hisl-ips to her n£¢k.
Julia’s whole b©dy vibr@ted as her lashes fl@pped up and down. Her eyes fell on his n£¢k and she saw the tattoo he had, on his n£¢k side.
She suddenly felt his hand sl!pinside her go-wn and she ti-ghtly closed her eyes.
His hand was alre-ady on her p@n-ties, tou-ching it slowly. He drew her closer to his che-st.
“I don’t care. We are doing it today, Julie” He whispered.
Julie quic-kly stood up and held her b©dy like she was afraid.
“Sorry… I can’t” She shook her head.
Axel looked at her with a straight face. He tried to hide his angry look though it was almost visible.
“Why not?” He asked, quic-kly
“I’m not re-ady” She sobbe-d, quietly.
“fv¢k!” He yelled,, allowing Julie to shiver.
“So, when… when are you gonna be re-ady?” He glared at her.
“…When I get a tattoo?” She replied.
“What?”
“I wanna get a tattoo. You said you fancy girls with tattoos. I wanna get one…When I do that, then, we can do it and we can go as many rounds as you like”
Axel scoffed.
“I don’t really go rounds… I just fv¢k and go”
“What?” She asked, confused.
“Julie,, I might die here if I don’t do it… Besides,, you promised me today” He said, ignoring her last statement.
“Sorry,, that I couldn’t keep my promise. You just have to wait”
“For how long? I just told you I’m about to die!”
“How?” Her eyes looked at him.
“I dissolve something in our tea” He muttered. Veins were alre-ady popping on his n£¢k. His face was getting so red alre-ady. He closed his fist ti-ghtly.
“What’s that? And what’s happening to you?”
“A libi-do booster. It makes our se-x drive high,, allowing us crave for se-x” He said.
“What?”
“You didn’t drink yours, right?”
She nodded, quietly.
“fv¢k! Why did i drink that?!,, I thought we would do it” He gro-an ed, and knelt down. He quic-kly held her legs.
“Have se-x with me, plea-se”
“I’m sorry” She said, and took her legs away.
“Then, what should I do?!” He yelled.
“fv¢k! This sh*t isn’t comfortable” He added, whispering, holding his knelt knees.
“You know what,, just breathe in and out, drink lots of water and go to a bar” She took her eyes down to him.
“What? A bar and do exactly what?” He asked, and looked back at her.
“Just hire an harlot and let her do the job… I ain’t re-ady now, Axel” Julie said. with tears running down her eyes.
“Darn it! You asked for this. Go bring me water, and my clothes. I nee-d to change” He gr-unted and Julie went to do so.
Pres£nt Day***
Julie was just remembering that day. She just paused her words, and kept looking into space not telling me a word.
I shook her l@p.
“Continue from where you st©pped. You said,, I promised him I would have se-x with him on the 13th of July…”
“What?” Julie muttered and c@m£ back to her s-en-ses.
“I said, continue from where you st©pped. You just paused suddenly and blanked out. Won’t you talk, I’m curious”
Julie quic-kly stood up.
“Sorry, rose but I gotta go”
“Huh? hey,, you can’t keep me hanging that way. What happened that day,, July 13th!?” I shouted.
“I really nee-d to go”
“I won’t tell you what transpired between I and Axel before I met you then…since you aren’t re-ady”
Julie sighed.
“Keep that to yourself. Really don’t wanna hear it. However, I’m still gonna say this. Never ever d@t£ Axel… I’m glad you even promised me you won’t” She said, and walked out.
“What’s her problem now?” I said, inwardly and walked her leave.
