“Meet my roommate” Julie told him.
He looked at me and smiled.

I walked slowly with the basket of jeans on my hand. I met few students on the way.

Evening***
I la-id down on my be-d and was re-ady to sleep when Julie’s voice c@m£ out.
I thought she was asleep. Her face was on her wall, with her b©dy laying on the be-d by the side.
“Rose?” She called.
“Yeah, Julie?” I replied.
“What do you study? I’m a chemistry student” She told me.
“I study philosophy” I replied.
Julie looked at me and smiled.
“Cool. You know philosophist are supposed to be wise since they are lovers of wisdom. They ought to have s-en-se,, alongside logic” She told me.
I blinked my eyes.
“I’m not a philosophist” I told her.
Julie chuckled.
“That’s what you be called since you study philosophy. I can be called a chemist since I study chemistry” She said.
I shook my head.
“A philosophist is a person who pretends to be wise. Instead of philosophist,, we call ourselves Philosopher. That’s the real and true word”
Julie’s forehead brou-ght out de-ep wrinkles.
“Oh…” She muttered.
“Have a nice sleep then. I’m getting really sleepy” She told me.
“Me too” I replied.
“Have a good sleep” I added.
“Sweet dreams, Rose” She said, and turned over again.
“You too, Julie” I said, before dozing off.
Next Morning***
I was able to ask around for where my other course mates were. I eventually made friends with two people by name, Lily and Vin.
They were friends alre-ady. I even wondered how a guy and girl were able to be friends without falling in love. To me, it was ru-bbish cause I thought even if they don’t d@t£, they might have se-x sometimes.
Friends with benefits as they would call them…
They took me to where the clas-s was holding and also met with the course repres£ntative who took my number and added me to the WhatsApp clas-s group.
I slowly entered the hvge hall with Lily linking her arm with mine. Vin’s hands were tucked inside his trou-sers pockets as he entered.
“Here,, let’s seat down here, Rose” She told me, pointing at an empty row of seat.
I nodded and walked with her. We sat down and I ended up sitting in between Vin and Lily.
Clas-s hasn’t yet started so I decided to while away time by asking them few questions.
“Lily?” I called.
“Hmm?” She replied, and looked at me.
“I wanna ask about you both… can I?” I asked, pointing at Vin.
Vin and Lily exchanged glances before looking at me.
“Ask away… though I’m not surprised,, Philosophers ask a lot of questions” She chuckled.
Lily was cute. She has a baby like attitude and face. Her face was small with a bit of plump cheeks.
Vin is handsome. He’s average in height,, unlike Lily who is really short. He looks a bit introverted,, just like me.
“For how long have you been friends?” I asked, softly.
Lily blinked her eyes.
“It’s been a year now” She answered.
“Oh” I nodded.
“Was that what you wanted to ask?” Vin asked.
I looked at him and nodded.
“Yeah… yeah”
Soon, a lot of students began to flock into the hall like they planned it.
“Wait. Are these ones also studying philosophy?” I asked, staring at the people who rushed in.
“Nope. They are English students… I guess they computer lecturer didn’t show up today again” Lily said.
“Oh. We are supposed to have computer?” I asked.
Lily nodded.
“English students are supposed to have computer as well but since they teacher is abs£nt, they might have it with us” She further explained and I nodded.
“Hey, dude…” I heard a familiar voice say.
I quic-kly turned around to see Axel. He was looking at Vin but when I turned to him, he looked back at me and gave a quic-k smile.
“Huh? What’s he doing here?” Lily freaked out.
I looked away. What does he want! Oh wait,, He wants my pu-ssy again. He’s such a luna*tic.
“Go to the other side. I wanna sit here” He told Vin.
Vin inhaled de-eply and stood up. I quic-kly held his arm.
“Seat” I said.
“No, I’m fine” Vin said, and took my hand off. He went to Lily and sat close to her.

I felt my whole b©dy vibr@te. I just took my eyes to the front and that was when the lecturer, a woman with glas-ses walked in.
On the other hand, Axel kept on disturbing me, calling my name in clas-s and whispering all kinds of se-xual things that I almost felt we-t.
I could ha-rd ly concentrate in clas-s.
After Clas-s***
“Lily. Leave without me. I wanna check something out. You can go with Vin” I told her.
She nodded and followed Vin away.
I went after Axel and pu-ll-ed him somewhere hidden.
“I wanna warn you” I started, glaring ha-rd at him.
He only raised his brows.
“Leave me alone! plea-se, leave me! You’re my roommate b©yfri£ndfor crying out loud. I don’t want to have anything to do with you, got it?”
He chuckled.
“You didn’t guess why I c@m£ late for lecture, this morning?” He asked.
“I don’t care so why would I ask?”
