There was total silence after Reed confessed,Summer didn’t utter a word,she was totally speechless.
“Summer?” Reed called and she came back to reality
“Reed,I…”
“No,I don’t want the answer right now. You are free to take your time,I don’t want negative answer please. Just take your time,okay?” Reed said and Summer nodded slowly
Reed smiled and pec-ked her cheek before going out
Summer tou-ched her cheek where he kizzed and shook her head unbelievably,She exhaled and inhaled.
“Calm down Summer,calm down” She sighed out and slowly walked out of the cl@$$. She saw Kingsley coming out of the libr@ry with Noelle,she didn’t take a second glance at them,she went straight to her room.

SHOPPING MALL**
Jasper followed closely as Josephine picked different clothes,she was wearing a big smile on her face. She took one dress and turned back to Jasper
“Jas,what do you think?” She asked showing him
“It’s black” Jasper said and she frowned
“So what?”
“Almost all your clothes are black” Jasper replied and she scoffed
“We both know my favorite colour is black and it always look so good on me,so what are you talking about? I’m taking this” She said and continue picking more clothes handing it to the mall attendant.
She saw a ne-cklace
“Wow,it’s beautiful” She said and immediately rushed to it
“Give me that,give me” She said
“Yes ma’am” The attendant said and helped her with it
Minutes later,they were done. Her guards started packing the stuffs to the car. She was about going out with Jasper when a guy walked over to them
“Hi” He said,smiling at Josephine
Jasper immediately covered her up
” I just want to talk to her” The guy said
“Jasper” Josephine called and Jasper faced her
“You really want to talk to him? He doesn’t look like….”
“I will talk to him,you should go” Josephine snapped
Jasper shot the guy a glare before walking away,he lean against the car watching them as they talk,He saw them exchanging contacts and he scoffed,how can she smile that way in front of a guy she ba-rely know when all she do is being cold all day?
Soon they started walking toward the car,still talking
“I will call you Jose,I promise” The guy said with a wink and Josephine nodded,he was about to say more when Jasper opened the car door and ushered her in.
Jasper closed the door and turned back to the guy before p@$$ing throu-ghthe other side. The driver drove off
The drive was silent,Jasper wouldn’t spare Josephine a glance. She wasn’t supposed to care but she really cares because it’s not like him,he will always try to make her smile no matter what
“Jasper,are you okay?” Josephine asked
“Yes ma’am” He replied without looking at him
Josephine sighed and decided to leave him alone

JOSEPHINE’S HOUSE**
Jasper and Josephine stayed together as the maids help in arranging the stuffs into her room,Jasper faced her
“I’m leaving,it’s late” He said and Josephine also turned to him
“But,,I want us to have dinner together…”
“I’m sorry I can’t wait,goodnight” Jasper said and bowed slightly before walking away leaving her speechless
“Ma’am,we are done,we prepared you a warm bath too” The maids said as they came out
“Thanks” Josephine entered her room and dropped her bag on the bed,she went into the dressing room and took off her clothes before proceeding to the bathroom.
She entered the bathtub gently and settled in,the water was so warm. Just perfect,she mo-aned and shut her eyes. Her mind suddenly went to Jasper and she sighed
“What’s with him? Is he mad about something?” She muttered and bite her li-ps. Jasper never rejects her offers but he did tonight and he was looking cold too.

NEXT DAY,STANFORD**
EVENING**
Kingsley checked the door again for the umpteenth time and sighed,the group is complete already aside Summer who isn’t there yet
“Where the h*ll is she?”
“How can she be so damn Late?”
“Gosh this is annoying…”
They members are beginning to complain
Kingsley banged his hand on the desk and they all looked up
“You all are free to leave,but we aren’t starting a thing until she’s here. You guys are not even smart so why are you complaining?” Kingsley snapped and they all kept quiet.
“No one is leaving?” He asked again
“We are sorry,but she’s taking…oh she’s here”
Kingsley immediately turned to the door and saw Summer running breathlessly until she entered the cl@$$
“I’m…sorry…I slept off” Summer said breathlessly
Kingsley only smiled
“Sorry for keeping you all waiting,it won’t happen again” She added before sitting down
“Here” Kingsley gave her a bottle water and she looked at him
“Drink it” He said
“I’m fine…” she wanted to reject it but Kingsley took her hand and dropped the bottle on her palm
“Thanks” She muttered and immediately opened it,she gulped down half of it before dropping it.
“Let’s start” Kingsley said
HOURS LATER**
“Bye everyone” They all greeted themselves as they walked out one after the other. Summer also carried her bag and walked out,Kingsley followed her and they started walking together
“Are you okay? You look tired” he sadi
“Yeah,really tired” Summer muttered
Kingsley smiled
“Wanna do something fun? Your tiredness will fade off,trust me” He said and Summer faced him
“What’s that?”
“Wanna take a long and fast ride around Cali with me?” He asked swinging his key in the air
“Seriously?” Summer asked and he nodded
Summer smiled
“Okay,,I’m gonna change my dress” She said looking at the short gown she was putting on and Kingsley nodded
“As you wish”
Summer smiled and immediately ran off,she entered her room and met Naomi on the bed writing.
“You’re not done yet?” Summer asked,rushing to the closet
“I think I left my PC with br@yden,I nee-d it so I can submit the @$$ignment. Are you going somewhere tho?” Naomi asked
“Yeah,will be right back” Summer said,she was now putting on a trouser and a hoodie,she wore her sneakers before rushing out. Naomi Gr0-ned and hit her head on the bed
Kingsley was waiting on the bike already when she came out,
“You look hot” Kingsley said
“Take your eyes off before I remove them” Summef Snapped and Kingsley smiled
“Here” Kingsley gave her the second helmet
“Thanks” She smiled and took it from him,she used it and then climbed on the bike gently
“I ride this crazily,don’t be scared” Kingsley said
“I trust you so don’t worry about me” Summer replied and Kingsley was surprised
“You trust me?” He asked again
“Yes I do”
He smiled and took off immediately,
“You might wanna hold me” Kingsley said naughtily
“In your dreams” Summer scoffed and then all of a sudden,Kingsley added more speed
“Kingsley!” She screamed and immediately grabbed hold of him,holding him from the back
Kingsley smiled in satisfaction as her hands wrapped around him,the ride was really fast but fun,the night breeze making it more amazing and different colour of the street light was something to write about,even from the helmet,Summer could see everything clearly.
Summer suddenly saw fireworks as they rode throu-ghthe bridge,she immediately tapped Kingsley and he stopped at once.
“Are you okay?” Kingsley asked
“Fireworks,look” Summer pointed and immediately got down from the bike,she removed her helmet and moved closer to hold the bridge abutment.
Kingsley also joined her
“Wow,,so pretty” Summer smiled not taking her eyes from the fireworks.
“Do you enjoy watching this?” Kingsley asked after some minutes,he finds nothing important about the fireworks
“Of course,isn’t it pretty?” Summer asked
“No it’s not” Kingsley scoffed
“Really?” Summer faced him and he nodded
“There’s nothing fun about watching fireworks to me” He said
“You don’t know anything” Summer roll her eyes
“You’re the one who doesn’t know anything,you’re dumb” Kingsley said and her eyes wide-ned
“Me? Dumb?”
Kingsley nodded
“Now I Know you’re really a je-rk,Fool” Summer said and Kingsley laughed
“It’s not the first time anyone would call me a je-rk,but a fool?” He chuckled
“Then should I keep calling you a fool,punishment for ever calling me dumb” She said
“Don’t call me that,I have my reputation to protect”
Summer laughed out
“Reputations? pla-yboy reputation? Oh right,you don’t want your numerous girlfriends to know you’re a fool” She smi-rked
“I don’t have a girlfriend,and I’m not planning to have one” Kingsley said
“Why? You want to keep being a pla-yboy forever?”
“I prefer being a pla-yboy than falling in love or having a girlfriend” He replied
“Seriously? Why?” Summer asked curiously
“Why must I be the one telling you stuffs? Tell me about your self too” Kingsley said
“Are you trying to escape that question?” Summer asked
“I won’t deny that” Kingsley smiled
“Fine i’m gonna tell you about myself,,My name is….”
“I know your name,just go somewhere else” Kingsley cut her off
“je-rk!” She snapped and hit him
They both laughed
“Okay,My parents are in France,Paris to be precised. I have a little brother,He’s really little but sweet. I think that’s all” She smiled
“Wow,that’s interesting. I will love to meet your brother someday,I’m sure he’s going to like me” Kingsley winked
“Just because of your face? Oh please” Summer scoffed
“You should know I am really proud of my face,I’m thinking of becoming a model,what do you think?” he teased
“Don’t try it,you’re too ugly” Summer shook her head
“Gosh,you’re perfect in hurting people’s feelings”
“Say yes!! Say yes!! Say yes!!!!” They heard people chanting and they turned to see a man on his kneel in front of a lady.
“Who the h*ll proposes on a bridge?” Kingsley scoffed
“We met here honey,remember?” The man started and Summer faced Kingsley
“Did you hear that? They met here” She scoffed
“So,he have to propose here just because of that?” He asked
“That memory is really amazing when you think about it,,meeting your soulmate in an interesting and unforgettable place..” Summer said dreamily
“Soulmate? What’s that?” Kingsley asked
“You don’t know the meaning of soulmate” She faced him looking surprised
“Tell me”
“A soulmate is probably someone you can spend the rest of your life with,just like now,they are getting married if she accept that ring” Summer said and Kingsley scoffed
“Not all couples spend the rest of their lives together,don’t you think?” He asked
“Why did you say that?” Summer asked
“Some ends with regrets” Kingsley replied
Summer wondered what he meant by that but she focused back on the couples and the lady really accepted
“Wow!” Summer clapped her hands
Kingsley looked away and turned back to the fireworks,Summer joined him.
“It’s because you’ve never fallen in love,if you do,you will start thinking about the future and you want to really stay with that person for ever” Summer said and Kingsley looked at her
“I agree to that,I’ve never fallen in love,but what about you? You sound like you’ve fallen in love” Kingsley said and Summer laughed
“Of course I have,,I had a boyfriend in high school. But it didn’t end well”
“What happened?”
“Let’s just say it was my fault,I wouldn’t even let him kizz me or do anything with me,so we broke up” Summer faced him
Kingsley started laughing
“What’s funny?” Summer asked
“You don’t mean it do you?”
“I’mfu-cking serious” Summer scoffed
“You two were dating but,no kizzing? At all?” He asked and Summer shook her head
“That’s crazy,really crazy” Kingsley chuckled
“Must we kizz? I was still fourteen for heaven sake” Summer Gr0-ned and Kingsley started laughing again
“You’re really something else,I had my first kizz when I was 9” Kingsley said
“What?!!!!!!”
Kingsley nodded
“She was older,but we were friends and she just,pressed her li-ps on mine,silly me couldn’t even un-derstand what that means,but it was amazing” He winked
“Oh just kill me,you’re really a pervert” Summer said
“I won’t deny that either” Kingsley Smiled
Suddenly Summer felt a drop of liquid on her face and she tou-ched it
“Kingsley,I think it’s gonna rain soon” She said
“Really?” Kingsley looked up and almost immediately the rain started to pour
“Let’s go”
They immediately got back on the bike and went off.

STANFORD**
“fuc-k, why now?” Naomi Gr0-ned as she was about getting to br@yden’s room and the rain started pouring heavily
She had to run and she finally got there looking we-t,,
“How will I go back with the laptop?” She murmured and knocked on the door,it opened and Weston showed up. He looked at her from her we-t hair downward
“Is br@yden in??…” She asked
Weston shook his head and told her to enter
“Where did he go to?” Naomi asked after he closed the door
“I don’t know” he replied
Naomi immediately carried her laptop from br@yden’s study table
“I came for this” She said showing Weston
“But you can’t leave,it’s raining” Weston said
“That’s right,I will just wait until the rain stops” Naomi dropped it
She tou-ched her we-t hair and bite her li-ps slowly,she turned toward Weston and he immediately looked away,He’s been staring at her
“Hey,what are you doing?” Naomi asked and moved closer to him
“Nothing important” Weston responded
“Wow,you love watching movies?” Naomi smiled and sat down beside him,Weston shifted immediately but Naomi didn’t notice,
“Oh no,you’re just like Summer. She love Kdramas alot” Naomi smiled,her eyes not leaving the screen of the Laptop
“What about you? What do you like?” Weston asked
“I prefer hanging out,it’s more fun” She replied and wrapped her arms together,she was beginning to get cold
“You might catch the flu if you don’t change your clothes” Weston muttered
“I just want the rain to stop,I nee-d to submit my @$$ignment” She said
Weston stood up and walked away,he returned with a large towel and wrapped it around her. Naomi smiled
“Thanks” She said and Weston nodded before leaving again,minutes later he returned with a hot tea and handed it to her
“You really don’t have to do this,I’m fine” Naomi said looking up
“I don’t want you to catch the flu” Weston said
“Thank you” She smiled and took it from him,he sat down again and they continue watching the movie together.
Minutes later,Naomi fell asleep and her head dropped on Weston’s shoulder which made him turn. The rain was still heavy and doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon.
“Where did he go?” Weston muttered referring to br@yden
He gently carried her and walked to br@yden’s bed,he was about dropping her when the door opened and br@yden entered looking soaked with the rain. His eyes wide-ned immediately
“What the h*ll are you doing?!” He yelled angrily
Weston dropped Naomi first before facing him
“You’re finally back” He said and br@yden scoffed
“I’m asking you that what are you doing with my girlfriend,how dare you touch her that way!!” br@yden snapped
Weston scoffed,he didn’t want to talk but he couldn’t stop himself
“Girlfriend? Do you even care about her??” He asked
“What?” br@yden said
“I’m asking if you care about her feelings? If you’re not interested in her anymore,justfu-cking tell her and stop pla-ying with her emotions you bastard!” Weston snapped and a heavy punch landed on his face which made him fall.
Naomi’s eyes opened and was shocked,she immediately stood up
“Weston!” She almost rushed to him on the floor but br@yden grabbed her hand and dragged her out of the room
“br@yden wait,why did you do that….”
br@yden stopped and faced her with an angry look
“Why did you come here? Why didn’t you just call me before coming? Why did you stay alone in that room with Weston!” He shouted
“I came for my laptop and it started raining”
br@yden went in without saying a word,he returned with an umbrella and her laptop
“Here,just go” He said and went back in
“br@yden” Naomi called but then the door opened again and Weston came out,he had a cut on his li-ps
“Are you okay?” Naomi asked but he ignored her and walked away
