Irish just arrived looking so tired, last night she was not able to sleep because she kept thinking about what Della had told her
She spent the whole night thinking about her feelings, that is if she likes him too or not
“No Irish no, you’ve spent nights thinking about this, you won’t start again” she said to herself and shook her head before going to Jenna’s room
Jenna was alre-ady awake, she was sitting on her be-d and pla-ying games in her l@ptĀ©p as usual
“Baby, is time to pause the game and enter the bathroom” Irish said
Jenna immediately turned to Irish and smiled
“Mummy, good morning” she flew off her be-d and rushed to hvg Irish
“Hmm, morning to you too, come on let’s get you showered and re-ady for school” Irish smiled and carried her to the bathroom
After showering and dressing Jenna up in her uniform, Irish styled Jenna’s hair
“Thanks mummy you’re always the best” Jenna smiled happily
“And you’re a sweetheart” Irish pinched her cheeks
They both c@mĀ£ down for dinner and as usual, Jake was found in the dinning, drinking coffee
“You two, good morning” he smiled at them
“Morning daddy” Jenna rushed to jump on Jake’s l@ps and hvgged him
“Morning Jake” Irish smiled and sat opposite him
“So did you sleep well?” He said
“Hmm” Irish lied, Jake looked at her and from figured out that she was lying
“You don’t look to good this morning, all your eyes are a bit swollen” he said

“It’s nothing, let’s eat, Jenna is late for school and we are also late for work” she said
“I’m the boss, I can’t possibly get late” he chuckled
“Whatever” Irish muttered
They were all eating when Suzy c@mĀ£ to them
“Mr Jake there’s something I’ll like to discuss with you” she said
“Go ahead and say it here” Jake replied, not taking his eyes off his food
“I want to quit this job” she said
“Huh?”
“I just got a call My father is sick, he nee-ds me right now,I can’t leave him, when I first started working here it was for my father and now it’s time to exhibit it” she replied
“Oh, that’s sad… It’s sad that we’ll have to loose you here” Jake muttered
“I’m sorry” Suzy bowed
“I’ll miss you bae” Irish stood up and hvgged her
“I’ll miss you too aunty Suzy” Jenna stood up and hvgged her
“I’ll miss you all to” Suzy smiled
“So, you can meet madam Brook and discuss your salary with her, tell her to give you a 20% bonus for taking care of Jenna sometimes” he said
“Thank you Mr Jake” Suzy bowed
Irish waved at her Happily before she left after she had left Irish pouted and sat down
“Why is everyone just leaving first it was Peter and now Suzy” she complained
“Are you sad that Peter left do you want him to come back?” Jake asked
“Hmm, I missed him so much.. I’ll be so happy if he can come back, plea-se can you hire him back plea-se” she pleaded
Jake looked at her and just f0rƧĀ£d a smile before facing his food back. Throu-ghout the dinner Jake was silent.

Crystal c@mĀ£ out of the bathroom door angrily, she met Viva and Samantha doing their make up
“Hey girls” she frowned and moved to them angrily
“Babe, you’ve been frowning since morning, are you okay?” Samantha asked
“Look at my face and ask me that question again!!, Am I okay, do I look okay?, Huh?” Crystal snapped and breathed out
“Someone is trying to mess with me” she added
“Huh?” Both Viva and Samantha asked
“Someone is trying to mess with me, each time after running my things he leaves a letter that’s written Damen at the back,it’s so annoying” she yelled and scattered her hair
“Damen Damen I don’t really know any Damen” Samantha shurgged
“What about you Viva, do you know who Damen is?” Crystal asked Viva who was busy spacing out and smiling

“Sorry what, did you ask me something?” Viva asked snapping back to reality
“Don’t mind her, she only looks like this each time she’s thinking of Brian” Samantha laughed
“The both of you are helpless!!, I’m so out of here!!” Crystal frowned and stormed out, on her way out she bu-mped into br@yden
“Woah, Crystal who styled your hair this morning was it a blind woman?” He asked
Crystal hand just flew up to his head and she sl@pped his head ha-rd

“Damen?”
“Yes dummy, do you know anyone in this college named Damen?” She asked again

“What is she always up to?, And I’m not a maggot face” He muttered and shurgged before walking towards the cafeteria

Crystal got to the clas-s angrily, students that were ma-king noise when she entered immediately stĀ©pped and began looking at her
“Is there any Damen in this clas-s?” She asked angrily
Aaron who was sitting next to a guy pointed the guy he’s sitting with
“So it’s you” Crystal moved to gr-ab his collar
“I…I don’t know what you’re talking about” the guy replied
“Don’t pl@yme for a fool and tell me what you want from me, before I snatch your head in this locker!!” She yelled
“They are two Damens in this clas-s, I’m not the one you’re looking for” he replied with a shaky voice
“Then where is the second one?” She asked
“I don’t know we never talk” he replied
Crystal nodded and left him
“I’ll be back here Damen and I’ll get back at you just wait and watch!!!” She yelled before turning around to leave but bu-mped into a guy
“You watch it!!” She pushed him on his che-st and walked out but he didn’t bulge
“I’m the Damen you’re looking for” he smiled when she left.

“Here are the files you asked me to work on” Irish submitted the printed copies on Jake desk
Jake just nodded with looking up at her
“Are you okay, you’ve been silent since morning?” She asked
“I’m fine” he replied
“Oh, so about Suzy will you replace her with another maid?” She asked
“Definitely” he replied again without looking at her
Irish bit herl-ips and nodded, she watched him acted like she want there as he picked the call and began calling madam Brook, telling her about a new replacement
After ending his call he continue working like she is not there
“Did I do something wrong why have been giving me the silent treatment since morning, last night you were all cool with me now today you…. I’ll never un-derstand you!!” She frowned and made to leave but he gr@bbĀ£d her hands and pu-ll-ed her to his l@ps
“It’s not like that I was silent because of me” he said
“Why?” She asked

He was cut short when herl-ips landed on his, Irish pu-ll-ed away and he stared at her in surprise, did she just pe-ck him to shut him up
“You’re getting it all wrong, I don’t like Peter anymore, it was all a crush and it didn’t last” she shook her head
Jake smiled when she said that
“Really?” He asked
“Hmm, so you don’t have to be jealous of anything” she poked his cheeks
“Then who do you like, I know you don’t like me yet but I don’t wanna give up” he said
“I… I don’t know what I feel for you, I’m still trying to figure it out, that’s why I didn’t sleep yesterday” she muttered
“Ha!, I knew it, I knew that you didn’t sleep yesterday, don’t you know that’s it’s not good for your health” he said
“You don’t have to worry about me, I’m used to it” she smiled and rested his head on his che-st
“You also don’t have to worry about anything, if there’s one person I want to love then it’s you alone, I don’t want my heart to beat for anyone but you, just give me a little time I really don’t want to keep you waiting anymore” she said sincerely

But their beautiful moment got interrupted when the door opened and Eric stepped in

He paused with wi-de-ned mouth, Irish immediately pu-ll-ed away from the k!ss, she wanted to stand up but Jake hvgged her w@!st ti-ght, he didn’t let her stand or move
“Yes Eric what is it?” Jake asked
“The CEO of Thornton Investment is on the phone now” Eric cleared his throat and spoke
“Okay give it” Jake stretched his palm out, Eric walked up to him and gave him while Irish blocked her face on his che-st
šGood morning Mr Ricardo, you called me so early this afternoon any problem?… He began talking and motioned for Eric to leave
Eric nodded and left while Irish looked up at Jake and waited for him to finish talking after he was done talking he looked at her and smiled
“So was that Ricardo Thornton?” She asked
“Hmm” he nodded
“OMG I’m a hvge fan of his technology” she smiled
“What about mine?” He asked and she chuckled
“Funny you,I better get back to work” she smiled
“Just stay here for a bit more” he pouted
“Mr Jake, you let me go to work on” she said pla-yfully
He smiled and re-leased her, she stood up and waved at him before walking back to her office

The monitor beeping could be heard, everywhere kept turning dark and light every now and then in her face
After a while her eyes flew wi-de open, what cought her attention first was the ceiling
“Where I am?” She muttered
A nurse just walked in and smiled seeing the lady awake
“Miss, you’re finally awake, I’ll go inform him” she smiled and left
Kaylee looked at the nurse confusedly, why was there a nurse here, was she in the hospital, so she didn’t die, was she given a second chance
As she was thinking the door opened and a man dressed in neat suit stepped in,he had a kind of worried expression on his face
“Miss, I’m so glad you’re awake,damn I was worried as hell” he breathed out and ruffled his hair
Kaylee heaved and looked up

She sat at the long bench, pressing her phone and crossing her legs, this would be the fifth time she’ll be sighing
“What’s taking him so damn long” she muttered and checked her wristwatch
She logged into her Instagram account and began searching for something, she stĀ©pped at a picture of Jake and smiled
“Jake Jake, you have become so big and fine now” she chuckled looking at his pictures with a smile forming herl-ips
“I left you for 7 years and you’ve turned to a big man even our daughter is looking so pretty” she smiled, ru-bbing on Jenna’s picture
“I promise to come back for you once I’m done with my target and once I get to you, I’ll never ever let you go… We’ll live and die together” she smiled
A car just stĀ©pped at her front and the same man that was with Kaylee in the hospital c@mĀ£ down
“Babe” he called
Noami raised her head up and smiled at him, she stood up and moved to hvg him ti-ght

“I miss you more hunny, though you were gone for two months, it felt like two years” he pouted

“Good afternoon Mr and Mrs Martinez” she bowed
“You can just call us mom and dad, we know about you and my son” Mr Martinez smiled
“Huh?” Irish asked
“Don’t worry dear, we are not worried about your status, we are just happy to see our son smiling again, so when is the wedding” Mrs Martinez smiled
“Love is too soon to talk about wedding” Mr Martinez hit her
“I’m sorry I’m just so excited” Mrs Martinez squeeled
“So grandma can we come visit sometimes?” Jenna asked
“Yes baby I was about to invite you all next week, your father and I will be having a business p@rt and I want you guys to be there” Mrs Martinez replied
“What about Jenna’s school” Jake frowned
“Quit frowning it’s just for a week” Mrs Martinez pouted
“I know I know mom, but the thing is what about Irish I’m sure she won’t be chanced to…
“Whether you like it or not, I’ve booked a flight for the four of you too Las Veg@s” Mr Martinez said
“Four?” Jake asked
“br@yden will be coming to, do inform him about it” Mrs Martinez replied
“Great, that trouble maker” Jake sighed.
