” Good morning love ” Aiden said as he whispered into her ears she chuckled at his cuteness overload.
” Good morning Aiden now let go of me ” she said slapping his hands off making him pout .
” Dunni …”
” Aiden you wan ki me ? You didn’t let me sleep last night ,now you’re doing Mr R0m-ntic so early in the morning we are not going for another round thank you ” she said and Aiden burst out laughing .
” So now it’s my fault ? Who was asking me to go fas-ter ? He teased and she blus-hed red .
” Later you’ll be forming Mr innocent leave me jhoor ” she said as she got up .
” Babe I’m coming ..
He trailed .
” Oh just say you want to shift my wo-mb na ” she said and he burst out laughing on the bed .
Every moment with dunni was really crazy exciting and special .
After breakfast they both sat on his bed whilst he was doing something on his laptop .
He got a video call from Emerald .
” Hey princess ” Aiden said and dunni stopped what she was doing on his iPhone and peeped to see who he was talking to .
Okay why was this guy @$$ociated with beautiful girls ?

” Hey my baby what’s up Jeremy ? I heard about Bella buh things have been so crazy lately so I couldn’t call ” she said and he smiled whilst dunni glared at him then turned to the preety girl .
” Wow Jeremy who’s that she’s beautiful ” Emerald said naughtily and dunni smiled .
” She’s dunni the stubborn girl I’m trying to tame ” he said and she laughed beautiful .
” Ah don’t listen to him I’m quiet the innocent type ” dunni said and Aiden faked cough .
” You don’t look like one , besides I’m Emerald Castillo Jeremy’s friend’s with benefits ? Emerald said sm-irking and dunni glared at Aiden .
” It’s a lie don’t listen to Emerald she’s crazy ” Aiden said immediately in pannick whilst Emerald burst into laughter.
” Aiden seriously you’re that scared ? Emerald teased .
” You won’t un-derstand ” Aiden said remembering how dunni breaks bottles on her head .
” Don’t play that kind of play in front of dunni , I still love my life Emerald ” he said and Emerald laughed crazily .
” I like this girl she brings out the outgoing side of you ..we are family friends dunni we basically grew up together ” Emerald said and dunni loved her cheerfulness .
” Are you bringing her with you for the get together ? Emerald asked curiously .
” Huh planning to ” Aiden said and Emerald squiled happily ..then her phone rang .
” What …since last night ? She asked and laughed .
” Ades I’ll call you back I nee-d to go bail cherry from the prison her dad has asked all her siblings not to ” Emerald chuckled .
” What’s she doing in jail ? He asked confused .
” She’s with ace ,you should have guessed what happened by now ” Emerald said and Aiden burst out laughing .
” Sure no problem …” He said and cut the call , making a mental note to come call ace later .
“That girl is funny ” dunni chuckled .
” Ya and really fun to be with , you’ll enjoy the get together if you come with me ” he said and she stopped smiling .
” Aiden the contract would have ended by then ” she said and he froze .
” You’re still thinking about what we have as a contract ? He asked shocked .
” Of cause Aiden it’s a contract …at the end of one month we go back to our normal life ” she said and he stared at her as she looked away .
He could feel a familiar pain on his che-st .
” Aiden ” she called .
” I …I’m fine ” he said as he escused himself into the bathroom she could hear the shower run.
They where both different and she knew sooner or later ,they had to face reality even if it’d hurt .

” What where you thinking fighting in the middle of the road you fool ” Ashton snapped angrily at his brother making cherry sm-irk .
” Shouting at them wouldn’t stop them from doing it next time , North’s tend to be so full of themselves ” Emerald said
” Escuse me ” Ashton turned and Emerald raised her eyebrows .
” Escused Mr North ” she said and he decided to ignore her .
” I’ll just look for a way to get you outta here Ace , if you like next time go and fight in public , you’d rot here cause I won’t come ” he said as he matched to sign the rele-ase papers .
” My brother is so mean , if they where selling brothers I’d have surely sold him since ” ace said making cherish and Emerald burst into uncontrollable laughter .
Some mins later the cops released them .
” You mean dad and mom asked you not to bail me ? So I’ve now become trouble to them ? Ace said dramatically .
” Ace can you just shut up for once ,I had a busy day at the office as you can see my head is spinning ” Ashton bursted .
” Aah see why I said we should sell him ? Ace asked and cherry chuckled whilst Emerald gave ace an high five .
” Permission to sell him ” Emerald said laughing and Ashton turned .
” You know what no weapon formed against my sanity shall prosper …I refuse to go insane because of the both of you ” he bursted and everyone burst out laughing.

” Aiden where are you going ? Dunni asked and he turned .
” Out ” he muttered tieing his shoe lace and she smiled at him .
” Can I join you please ” she said and he hesitated for a while before giving a nod .
” I wanna huh visit my parents first ” she said after changing into a black dress and sandals .
” They stay here in Lagos ? He asked
” No they’re late ” she said swallowing the lump on her throat and he immediately felt guilty for not knowing .
” I’m sorry ” he said and she shrugged .
” It’s okay ” she said and they both strolled out .
They got to the cemetery about an hour later and she dropped some flowers on the grave .
” I miss them ” she mumbled softly and he held her hands for support .
” You can tell them that you know it helps a lot ” he said and she Frowned .
” How ? She wondered .
” I’ll teach you ” he said and turned.
” Good evening DD’s parents ..I’m Aiden her ..friend ” he the last part sadly .
” I’ve known her for quiet sometime and she’s cool she acts tough but she’s a baby at heart …Ive enjoyed my stay here so far and I can tell DD loves you guys a lot ” he said and dunni smiled out tears .
” I miss you dad and mom ” she cried and he hu-gged her as she cried bitterly .
He knew getting dunni to open up to him wasn’t gonna be an easy task ..she believed true lovers didn’t live long like her parents and being in relationship was as toxic as ronke and wale .
God knows he was scared of getting hurt by dunni , he could survive Bella buh dunni heavens knew he’d loose his sanity .

” I’m here to see Nathaniel Ortega ” red Morales said as she fli-pped her hair angrily .
Nate was really serious with avoiding her and it had really gotten outta hand .
” Ma’am Mr Ortega is busy and has asked no one to disturb him ” the security said and red glared at him .
” You know me right ? Go and tell Nate that if he doesn’t come out I’d go to club and he knows what I’d do if I go ‘ she said and he left about some mins later Nate came out angrily .
” What is wrong with you Red ” he bursted and the security escused them .
” Oh didn’t you say ,you didn’t care what I did ? She asked and he ran his fingers in his hair in frustration .
” You think I have time to babysit a spoilt Br@t red ? He bursted .
” Nate did you just call me spoilt ? She bursted .
” Well that’s what you are , a spoilt arrogant Br@t ,that thinks she can have everything done her way …you don’t do feelings red well I can no longer @$$ociate with you knowing I’d be getting hurt every fu-cking time ” he bursted and tears stung on her eyes .

He stared at her as she matched outta his mansion in tears , he bit his lower li-p as tears rolled into his li-ps .

” Red .. you’ll get sick if you keep drinking sweetheart ” Stephanie Morales said as she watched her daughter cry with empty bottles of alcohol on the floor with a used pack of cigarette.
” Go away mom I don’t want to talk okay ” she said tiredly .

” Mom I’m trying to be different for Nate isn’t that enough for him ? He’s a good guy ,first he stopped me from clubbing I agreed cause I liked him then he stopped me from wearing things that showed too much skin ,I did it for him and now he wants to tie me down ” she bursted .
” Red he didn’t say he wants to tie you down ..your considering being with him because you love him ” Stephanie said chuckling .
‘ love ? Seriously mom why can’t we just be what we where ? Why does he want more it’s annoying ” she bursted .
” Think it what you want princess cause Nate is a good guy girls would be lining up to take his heart ” Stephanie said
” I’d commit murder I swear ” she said and Stephanie’s jaw dropped .

A week later .
” Aah uncle Aiden thank you so much ” funmi screamed happily as she opened the pack of her new iPhone excitedly .
He was gonna leave for his country a day later and decided to keep his promise to funmi .
He played for adura’s school fees and enrolled most of the children on a scholarship program .
The kids cried when he told them he’d be going back and dunni stood on a distance staring at him as tears rolled outta her eyes .
He’d been distant these days like he was thinking a lot and didn’t even touch her ..
” You know you can just tell him how you feel girl , that man just changed your life dunni ..you now have a house you can start a good business with the money he gave you plus wale is in jail ,are you gonna him go without stopping him ? Kele asked
He couldn’t un-derstand what was stopping dunni from accepting her feelings for Aiden .
The guy was like God sent to them . He’d even helped him secure a job abroad despite the fact that he knew his the feelings he had for her and should have been jealous.
” I don’t know kele …I don’t know….I don’t wanna talk about it either ” she said and he let her be .
He knew she’d talk to him when she really nee-ded someone to talk to .
” Oh take good care of yourself son you’ve been nothing but kind to us ” ronke cried and Aiden smiled .
” Huh it’s nothing aunt ” he said and dunni looked away .
” I was wondering if you’d let me take dunni with me ” he asked and dunni Turned.
What the hell was he doing hadn’t they talked about this ?
” Oh we have no problem if dunni agrees to go with you ” adebisi said and ronke gave a nod in support .
He hung around for a while and dunni was viBr@ting in anger .
” What the hell did you do back there Aiden ?she asked angrily
” I’m not doing this , arguing is not on my list tonight dunni ” he said softly as he unbottoned his shirt .
“Arguing is not on your list ? So I’m the one that likes arguing ? Didn’t I already tell you I’m not going back with you what was the nee-d to complicate things by asking my aunt ? She bursted .
” Dunni ” he said
” Don’t dunni me ,we had a contract I just had to sleep with you so ….”
” CAN YOU STOP ” he bursted angrily he never got angry easily but she was really pushing his bu-ttons this night .
” I should stop ? So now you’re angry I’m the one that’s supposed to be angry here you crossed your limits ” she bursted .
” Dunni I don’t get you , I try to to un-derstand you buh you’re shutting me out , you don’t want me to love you , you’re scared .” He said and she glared at him .
” Aiden stop talking about feelings …” She said and he chuckled bitterly .
” I’m such a fool , I thought you felt something ”
” Aiden ” she snarled .
” You’re angry ? Go on get a bottle hurt me make me stop talking , buh that wouldn’t change the fact that you’re a coward ” he bursted .
” You’re scared of what you feel for me , the intensity of how much you love me ” he said and she looked away .
He Walked over to his door and opened it .
” GET OUT” he said and she looked at him in shock .
” Aiden …”
” Leave me alone dunni ” he said as his body shook with emotions .
Bella hurt but this was a whole new level .
” Fine ” she said as she walked out .
He went over to the chair and as he sat down tears refused to roll down his eyes .
He wasn’t gonna let dunni leave him , if she was stubborn he’d show her he’s ten times stubborn he thought as he ran his fingers in his hair .
He heard a knock on the door and opened it .
” I told you to leave ” he said .
” Aiden I’m sorry ” she said tears rolling outta her eyes.
He left the door open and walked inside .
” Aiden I’m sorry ” she pleaded and he pushed her hands .
” Aiden ” she called and he stared at her chocolate coloured eyes.
He knew she’d hate him for this , buh he knew what he was about to do was the only way to toe her down .
He walked over to her and kizzed her softly she pulled him into her and he Se-duced his way leading her to his room .
” Aiden wait …” She tried to tell him she hadn’t bought new morning after meds and they’d run outta condoms buh he didn’t give her the chance to .
She didn’t even realize when they’d gotten rid of their clothes and he’d made his way into her .
She moa-ned as they made love .
” Aiden …” She called when she knew he was close .
She tried to push him off .
” Aiden what are you doing ….stop ” she kept hitting him buh he cadged her both arms as he filled her with his seeds she cried .
” Aiden ”
” I’m so sorry love ….I’m so sorry I love you too much to let you go ” he said kizzing her as she cried un-der him .
She was so gonna get pregnant …she was close to her month and Aiden had to do this to her .
” I’m so sorry love ” he kizzed her forehead and she slept off .
