” Good evening grandma ” dunni greeted as she dropped her bag on the table and ronke came out of the room with dinner on a tray .
” Dunni you’re back how was work ? Ronke asked and she gave a nod.
” It was… …….” She was saying but her mind drifted back to the foreigner she’d seen at the hotel .
Why did his stare feel like he was staring de-ep in her soul ?
She Gr0-ned in frustration .
” Dunni ” her grandma called and she for-ced a smile .
” It was fine ” she answered as she sat to eat .
She hadn’t even ate anything when they heard a knock on the door. She looked at her aunt who looked as clueless as her grandma .
She got up and opened the door .
” It’s the police ” dunni said as the cops walked in with madam Bose not far behind .
” Officer na this people , na them they owe me ” she bursted in pidgin .
” Sir Please give us some time we have promised to pay up all we owe her , infact dunni is even paying but she keeps adding interest making it ha-rder to pay up ” ronke explained sadly .
” Oga I no care about this grandma ronke they do so , I nee-d my 300 thousand naira today today ” bose said shewing her gum seriously .
” We don’t have that kinda money sir , infact even if you arrest all of us there’s no one to bail us you’d only fill up your prison, and madam Bose will stay without her money ” dunni said and Bose gasped .
” O haba don’t listen to this girl ….she fights with my men anytime we come to ask for my money ” Bose said.
” We borrowed just a hundred thousand and we’ve payed you 80 ,how come only the interest has reached 300 k ” ronke asked .
” Ha madam 100 k to 300 k you get conscience ” the cop asked and madam Bose glared at them .
” This is not a serious case ….you will pay madam Bose 150 thousand since you’ve paid 80 k you’d pay her 70 thousand naira ” one of the cop said .

Promising to deal with them as she stormed outta their house they thanked the police who left a while later .
” I’m so sorry dunni it’s my fault that all of this has happened to you sweetheart I’m such a failure , I couldn’t give you a good life ? Ive only added to your suffering ” she cried bitterly .
“Aunt come on dont say that , you only made wrong choices in life especially with wale but everything will be fine ” dunni said as she hu-gged her aunt and adebisi smiled at the duo .

” ACE I’m fine what happened to your face you look sick ? Aiden asked his brother as they where on a video call .
” It’s a long story I’m already looking better if you’d seen me while I was looking battered you’d have wept ” he said dramatically .
” Wept ? It was that bad ? Aiden chuckled .
” Forget about me ,how’s Nigeria seen any ……” He raised his eyebrows .
” Well I haven’t even gone out buh there’s this girl…..”
” Aiden I didn’t ask you to love ” ace attacked .
” Cheel first , I haven’t said anything you’re already attacking me ” Aiden frowned .
” I told you no strings attached your too fragile right now you just got outta a bad relationship nine years ” Ace panicked .
” I … Know ” Aiden said sadly .
” It’s just I was intrigued by her …there’s something that pulls me towards her like …” Aiden was saying .
” It’s an attra-ction especially the pull you feel, I feel that with cherry but that’s not a big deal ” ace said and Aiden smi-rked .
” Caught you hehehehe you just admitted you have feelings for cherish ” Aiden chuckled .

” Na I can’t cheat on Gran gran she’s my true love ” ace said making him laugh the guy can never be serious .

” It’s not something I do normally it’s just I if I want to have se-x with someone I want that girl ” Aiden said and ace raised his eyebrows .

” More of the reason you shouldn’t hook up with her , she might stay without feelings but you know how easily you get emotional feelings for someone that’s a girl you should run from dude ” ace suggested .
” Or I can just be blunt tell her I want her ” Aiden said and ace chuckled at how cute his brother looked .
He cut the call and walked over to the balcony and he could see the entrance from there . He saw some girls talking at the garden and the girl from last night walked over to them clad in white sleeve shirt and black skirt which hu-gged her curves se-xily .
Dunni could feel someone’s gaze on her . She looked up and their eyes met , she could feel his eyes trail down her legs .
She smi-rked as she shook her head wondering why he was staring at her .

That’s why she preferred wearing loose geans and shirt especially since her grandma would always tease her about how firm her bre-ast stood and round her bu-tts where .
She immediately escused herself and walked outta his gaze .
Aiden ru-bbed his ne-ck nervously , he couldn’t believe he’d shamelessly checked her out .
He made a mental note to talk to the girl today itself .
He went inside and wore designers clothes watch and diamond laid sli-ppers before strolling out with his phone in his pocket .
” Huh hi ” he said to one of the girls who stared at him wide-eyed .
” Oyibo ” she gasped and he stared at her with a frown on her face .
” Good afternoon sir ….” Another greeted as she pulled her friend who was obviously creeping Aiden out with her stare .
” I’m actually looking for a girl ..she works here ,she’s dark skinned beautiful and her kinda has her hair tinted in gold she wears a ring on her nose and three on her ears ” he was explaining and uju stared at he collugue Wondering why the guy was looking for the trouble maker of all girls .
” Sir you mean dunni ? She asked .
” Dunni ? He called her name softly and smiled at how cute the name was .
” I’m sorry sir I think her shift just ended she left a while ago ” uju answered .
” Oh can you help me with her address or something ? He asked .
” Haba na ghetto that girl they stay o ? the first girl said .
” Sir it’s not safe to go to her place ..
It’s a zone for criminals ” uju advised .
” But if you want a tour I can…
“I asked for just her address please ” Aiden cut in and uju frowned .
” Sure ” she said embarr@$$ed as she wrote something on the file in her hand and gave the paper to him .
” Here’s her address be careful sir ” she said .
” I will ” he answered Wondering how the hell he’d escape his dad’s crazy security.
Just then he saw dunni walk out of the ladies room with her trap bag as she removed her wig and strolled outta the hotel .
A smile appeared on his li-ps .
” Let’s see how you’d escape me this time ” he chuckled as he walked behind her slowly .
Dunni Frowned when she felt someone behind her . She turned around and saw no one she shook her head and walked out .
Aiden switch off his phone so the team wouldn’t find him and rushed after her .

“I don’t even know why your brother gets angry easily it’s like he’s a time bomb waiting to explode Emerald complained whilst Kayla and Val burst out laughing .
” You and Ashton should be careful though there’s a thin line between love and hate ” Valerie chuckled .
” I’m not sure the north guys are capable of love well accept Aiden ” cherry said and the girls chuckled .
” And ace ? Emerald Asked .

She walked into a narrow road and entered another .
Aiden stood confused Wondering if the girl had vanished into thin air and their where already dirt on his sli-ppers making him wonder how humans could live in such places .
He turned and saw some woman seriously pounding something white in a tool that looked like a wooden bowl .
They didn’t even have shirts on .
” Na my turn ” he heard one kid shout and watched as they drove tires around wearing only pa-ntand shirtless .
Where was he ? He wondered .
He turned and saw some men arguing seriously about what seemed like football whilst others where pla-ying cards whilst smoking .
This was seriously not a safe place .
” Mommy see big doll baby ” one na-kedkid said pointing at him and he nearly chuckled .
She thought he was a doll really ?
” Hey ” one of the men called as he strolled towards him with a stick of ciggerrate in his hand and Aiden immediately took to his heels not even knowing where he was running to .
” Got you ” dunni said as she hooked his ne-ck from behind and he raised his hands in surrender .
” What had he gotten himself to .
She left him with a frown and he turned .
” YOU ” they both said in unison .
” Wait why the fu-ck are you following me ? She asked annoyed and he couldn’t believe her temper .
” I …well…I …” He was saying but the guy from before and some group of men attacked .
” Give us everything ” one of the guys said and whilst he stood in confusion dunni stood infront of him .
” He’s with me ” she said and they eyed her suspiciously .
” DD make him pay homage ”
” Him no dey stay for this ghetto …brighto respect yourself ” she said and he wondered what the hell they where saying .

” Didi leave this matter or we go on follow you ” another said and broke a bottle on his head making Aiden’s eyes wide-ned .

” Dunni smi-rked as she walked over to a ladies shop and broke two bear bottles on her head .

” You want it the harsh way or not ? She asked and at that moment his dad’s security team arrived with the cops .
” Mr North thank God your alife ” the manager from the hotel he was staying out said breathing in fear as he hu-gged him like his life depended on it .
The bad boys ran at the sight of the police and before they could say anything about dunni he interfered .
” She’s with me ” he said and she threw away the bottles .
” Mr Aiden north what you did was dangerous ” the manager scolded as they walked towards the car and he couldn’t stop staring as she walked boldly towards where she came from with confidence .
