Most times, I walked to the church premises and stayed there from morning till evening in prayers.

I became a more active member in the church.
I did almost all the cleaning.
Everyone became so happy with me.

Nothing enticed me more than listening to the word of God all the time.
I began going from one house to another preaching the word of God.

Repent brethren, for the kingdom of God is near.
Repent, for after death, there is nothing like repentance.

Mothers, teach your children the way they should go, so that when they grow, they wouldn’t depart from it.
Teach them morality, teach them righteousness, teach them the way to heaven. I preached.

I did this for a year and my host parents became so proud of me.
One day, I dressed up for evangelism when Pastor Adomako called me for a fatherly talk.

My daughter, I have called you here for two reasons.
First of all, the church has come into an agreement to make you the youth leader.

I personally asked them to give me few days to pray over it.
Baaba, I have prayed day and night over it and what I saw is unpleasant. He said.

Daddy, please talk to me, what did you see? I asked sadly.

Baaba, I saw you standing on a platform with darkness surrounded around you.
God told me that, there is something you must confess and let go, before you can fully engage in the work of God.

Baaba, sin is the only thing that separates us from God. If you don’t confess, you are not worthy to be called a child of God. He advised.

I bowed down my head in tears.
Daddy, I am very sorry for this day. I have been wanting to talk to you but for the fear of loosing this family and going back to the atrocious life I once lived, I decided to keep it to myself.

Daddy, in the first place, I am terribly sorry for keeping this away from you.
The truth is that, my parents are very much alive. I confessed.

Really? Talk to me my daughter, I’m all ears. Pastor Adomako said.

Daddy, I have sinned against God and humanity.
I caused separation between married couples, I infected someone with HIV, I slept with men for fun, I blackmailed a pastor with se-x and finally, I killed my sister and fled from the city to this village. I confessed.

Pastor Adomako bowed his head down in tears.
We both wept for minutes and he broke the silence.

Baaba, tell me, what was your reason for doing all these? He asked.

Daddy, my mother was the strength behind all my atrocities.
She told me that, if you are beautiful, you must make good use of it to gain everything in life.
She told me that, wealth was power and beauty was strength.

Mummy gave me reasons to sleep with men, because even in her matrimonial home, she still cheated. I explained in tears.

Really? Your mother cheated on your father? What for? Pastor exclaimed in disappointment.

Yes daddy, after I completed High school, I was always in the house but mostly indoors.

One day, I was in my room when I heard voices from my mother’s room.
I thought it was my father who had returned from work that early, so I quickly rushed out to talk to him.

When I got to the door, I realised the voice was not my father’s.
I stood there for a while and I recognized the voice.

It was my father’s bosom friend.
I got so confused.
What is my father’s friend doing in his matrimonial room with my mother? I thought.

I peeped throu-ghthe door hole and I saw the man making love to my mother.

I got so furious and for-ced my way into the room.
They both pleaded with me not to blow their cover.

Daddy, that was when my mother intensified her pampering attitude towards me.
She equally encouraged me to sleep with men, not knowing she was using me to cover her guilt. I explained in uncontrollable tears.

Calm down Baaba, cry no more. Our God is a forgiving God. Pastor Adomako consoled.

Daddy, when I look back at my life, I feel like committing suicide. I have sinned greatly. I responded.

Baaba, there is nothing impossible to God Almighty, but in the case of murder, I think we have to go back to the City and report to the police. He said.

I quickly went down on my knees.
Pastor please, have mercy on me. Don’t give me up.
I promise to go to the city and talk to my parents when things are calm.
For now, what I want you to do for me is to help me apologize to God. I pleaded in tears.

Hmmm, if you say so Baaba, I will help you in prayers, but you have to embarked on a three days dry fasting to plead with God. He said.

I fasted and prayed in tears to God Almighty to forgive me.
I wept day and night in remorse.

Months later, the church made me the youth leader.
I mobilized the youth and gave them the word of God from time to time.
We organized programs with the other villages to share the word of God.

One day, when we went to a village for a program, I met the head pastor of the Pentecost church.

Miss Baaba, my church and I have heard a lot about you and I must say you are doing a good job for your church.
I wish to talk to your God father Pastor Adomako to allow you to come and stay with us for a month or two to help stabilize our church. He said.

That will be no problem at all Pastor, just talk to Pastor Adomako and let’s see the way forward. I responded happily.

Days later, he visited my village as discussed and ask permission from Pastor Adomako to take me away.

We finalized everything I moved to stay with him in his village.
He gave me to one of his deaconess to stay with me.

I did my very best to visit all the youth one after the other in their various homes.
I preached the word of God to them and made them un-derstand the need to come back to the church.

Gradually, I won a lot of souls for his church.

Gradually, I won a lot of souls for his church.

Two months later, Pastor Adomako visited to monitor the progress of Pastor Moses’s church.

Welcome home Pastor Adomako, I owe you a gratitude for lending me your daughter.
I must say she has availed herself for God to use her to win many souls for my church.
Pastor Adomako, Baaba is indeed a blessing from God. He narrated happily.

I am very happy to hear these words from you Pastor Moses, but now that she is done with her mission here, I will like to take her back to my village. My church is also waiting anxiously for her. Pastor Adomako responded happily.

That is no problem at all Pastor, but I hope you will allow her to visit us from time to time? He asked.

Sure I will. Baaba is not mine alone but for the entire Pentecost church in this district.
Anyway, we must get going now. Pastor Adomako said.

I quickly went for my bags and followed Pastor Adomako back to our village.
The entire village was more than happy to see me.
Mama Gyamfuaa kept showering praises on me. She loved me so much like her own daughter.

I began my evangelism the next day after few minutes rest.
A month later, Pastor Moses visited again.

We welcomed him happily and he gave us his mission for the visit.
I am very happy to be here once again Pastor Adomako and Mama Gyamfuaa.
As we all know, I am still single and and would want to marry someday.
And I want to marry no other person than your daughter Baaba. He narrated.

My jaw dropped with shock.
Marriage? Me? After all these atrocities? After all these wickedness? I thought in tears and remorse.

This is a real good news Pastor Moses, but we will have to inquire from Baaba if she is willing to marry you. Pastor Adomako responded.

Baaba, I hope you heard everything? Now tell us, do you want to marry Pastor Moses? He asked.

I smiled in between my tears.
Daddy, please give me time to pray over this. I responded amidst emotions.

Alright Baaba, I will be waiting for you. Pastor Moses responded happily.

The entire family was happy for the proposal.
I kept praying to God to show me the right way.

Finally, I decided to accept Pastor Mose’s proposal but to first of all, confess my past to him, if he still wishes to marry me, then I will. I thought.

Pastor Adomako called on Pastor Moses to our village to alert him that, my response was ready.
He arrived that same day and I confessed all my atrocities to him in tears.

Baaba, I will never judge you with your past, because, as far as I’m concerned, Christ Jesus has washed your sins away with his blood.
I will personally go with you to the City and plead with your family to forgive you. He responded.

I was so happy to hear those words from him.
Thank you God, at last, I am also going to get married. We truly serve a miracle working God. I thought.

Days later, Pastor Adomako informed me that we had a crusade in the district’s capital and I was the motivational speaker for the program.
I didn’t sleep that night, I stayed awake giving glory to the most high God for bringing me that far.

All preparations were made and finally, the day was here for the crusade.

I was called onto the platform to deliver my speech.

I quickly honored the call and took over the microphone.
First of all brethren, I will like us to bow down our heads in prayer and ask God for the forgiveness of our sins.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 51:5 that, we have been evil from the day we were born, from the time we were conceived, we have been sinful.

Beloved, pray to God Almighty to forgive you your sins, for His anger last for seconds but His mercies endures for a lifetime.

Please pray, tell God not to banish you from His presence, tell God not to take away His Holy Spirit away from you as written in Psalm 51:11.

Spare our lives O God, and save us. And we will gladly proclaim your righteousness. I prayed.
