Kai followed me to the room and I saw the big smile on his face.
“Kai what was that?!” I yelled
“You know what it is!” He said and walked closer to me. He li-cked his li-ps and I moved backwards.
“K…Kai…Kai stay away from me….what exactly do you want!” I asked as I landed on the bed and continue to move back.
“Relax…you know what I want….don’t you?” He asked
“N…No….I do… don’t….”
“Oh yes you do Nina….” He cut in and landed his hands on my hip. I regret ever wearing a mini gown with only an underwear in it.
“K….Kai stop….it’s broad daylight…d.the….its…..i can’t….” I stammered…he suddenly pulled back. I look at him and his eyes turned blue.
“Why don’t you want me?,
Did I do something wrong?, Do I irritate you?” He asked looking sad as his eyes get colder and colder.
“Kai….it…..”
“Don’t bother to say anything…I don’t want to hear it….” He stood up and left.
I was still in daze….how did Kai eye color change again all of a sudden?, Or can Kai control his powers now?
My phone started ringing I saw it was Kate calling. I picked the call.
“Baby!” I said
“Nina…I missed you….alot…how come you don’t even ask of me anymore?, Dis I offend you?” She asked
“Am.sorry bestie…it’s not what you think okay…how about I come see you today?” I asked
“Really?, There are rumors about you….can you still come?” She asked worriedly
“I’d come…I’ll go get ready” I said
After getting dressed I came outside. I saw Baron and the others, Kai was no were to be found.
“I’ll take a stroll round the estate….I’ll be back shortly” i said about to go but Baron stood up.
“Am coming with you” he said
“Don’t!” I yelled “it….it’s an order” I said and walk out. I look back ànd Baron wasn’t following me, I sigh.
I took a taxi to the company. I called Kate informing her that I was at the lobby. She ran in shortly and hug-ged me. While we walk to the company cafe, workers point and whisper at me. I didn’t mind.
Alex shut his eyes as he rested on his chair.
“Sir….” His guards rushed in.
“What?” Alex opened his red and frustrated eyes…..he lost his lover and alot of money in the same month. But nothing hurt him more than losing Nina.
“Nina…she’s at the company cafe with Kate” he said and Alex jump up.

“Am sorry Alex am married to Kai now” i said and anger flush in his eyes as he grab my wa-istand kis-sed me. I struggled to break free but he tightened his grip. I whine until something pulled him back and a slap landed on his face.
I looked and saw Kai. ‘Oh my God….am finished….Kai saw me kis-sing Alex’.

“Baron take her home” Kai said and Baron appeared out if no were.

“What if she still love me?, What will you do?!” Alex asked

is why you don’t want me?!!!” Kai yelled…anger mixed with pain in his eyes. Tears filled my eyes….I was hurt that Kai doesn’t see how much I love him.
“No…no Kai….you know it’s you I love” I said. Hearing her say she loves him in front of Alex made his heart relief.
“Nina…..” Alex called
“Alex…. Please enough…..I thought we could be friends but you’re here ruining everything” i said and he laughed

“You devil………I regret……I regret everything!!!!!” I yelled, it suddenly began to rain……I ran inside the rain…..if only it could wash my heart clean.
Kai close his eyes in his car…….”I fu-cked her” Alex voice echo in his ears…….he was so angry.
I walked inside the rain until it stopped.
I didn’t have anywhere to go…..my phone was socked with water and have turned off. If I go to my family they’ll ask too many questions, if I go to Kate it’s too embarra-ssing and Alex will come find me. If I go to Kai…..my heart break again and I bent down crying.
“Did I come at the wrong time?” I heard the shimmer voice from behind……………………….

Shimmer took me to a hotel room.
“Nina….let’s go home”. She said
“No…am too embarra-ssed to face Kai….what will he think of me” tears rolled down my face.
“Nina…. listen to me…..” She squee-zemy hands
“He won’t even look at me after Alex say so…..am scared what if he doesn’t love me anymore?, What if he sees me worse than Victoria” I cried
“Oh no Nina…. you’re very special to Kai….I can a-ssure you if he doesn’t see you home soon he’ll start searching for you” she said.
“Am sorry shimmer” I said
“It’s nothing…..you talk a rest I’ll go see Kai” she said
“Please don’t tell him……”
“Don’t worry…..just rest” she cut in and I nodded.
Kai sat at the sitting room. He has long stopped the rain but Nina wasn’t back yet. He has called everyone to ask her were about even her parents don’t know.
He was still angry but he was worried about her. He remembered leaving her in the cold rain and his chest tightened.
Kai close his eyes and began to use his powers to connect Nina to him.
“Nina…..where are you?” He whispered
“Some where you won’t find her” Kai opened his eyes and saw shimmer.
“What are you doing here?” Kai asked
“You’ll know later but first just know I got bad news” she smiled
“You know where Nina is….you’re using your powers to guard her so I don’t get to see her or connect to her” Kai said, anger was still in his voice.
“Poor Nina….she’s crying her heart out saying you hate her and she said ‘kai hates me….he didn’t even look at me when he left….. Shimmer what do I do what if Kai see me and thinks am worse then Victoria…..I really can’t leave without Kai….’, you should have seen her….she hit herself and even wanted to drown herself in the bathroom” shimmer added and Kai jumb off, his face was now extremely worried.
“Seeing she wanted to hurt herself why did you leave her alone!!!, Take me to her!” Kai yelled
“I thought you didn’t want to meet her……I even drag the knife she wanted to use to cut her wrist” she lied Kai felt like fainting.
“Please take me to her….she mustn’t hurt herself Please!!!” He begged
“You don’t have to worry….you left your wife in the cold because she slept with her ex.. what were you thinking…..she’s not 18….she can’t be a virg-in forever….you not only hurt her pride you hurt her love for you because you didn’t defend her…..now that Alex is happy…..Nina is out there crying and hurt that you don’t believe her love for you…..as your punishment and her punishment I won’t let you two see each other for a week!!!!” Shimmer was angry.
“Am sorry…..”
“Don’t say sorry to me….am really disappointed in you….what if Victoria had entered this world and harm her…..well I came to break the bad news to you….since she can’t enter this world she will be planning to torment people and control them to harm Nina……if you’re not careful she might even control you!!!” She yelled.
“Please tell me where Nina is….. please if I spend another hour without her I won’t be able to breath…. please” Kai said.
Shimmer was quiet for sometime. Shee stroke her finger and broke the spell. Kai was able to feel Nina again…..her heart was filled with pains…..he could feel her sadness. Without wasting time Kai teleport himself to the front hotel.
“Nina…..” He whispered. He saw I his head room 404…..he rushed towards the door, the closer he gets the more he feel her painful heart.
Kai stood by the door and knock. But there was no response he knocked twice again then he heard.
“Who is it?” He heard her broken voice it made his heart su-ck again. “A…am coming”
I manage to stand up from the bed and walk to the door, maybe it was the room service.
“One moment” i said and walk slowly to the door and opened the door. My eyes met his red and blue eyes. He was breathing heavily.
“Nina….” He whispered. I didn’t know if I was dreaming….if it’s a dream please wake up Nina….how can I face Kai….am too embarra-ssed.
“K…k..Kai?” I stammered. He forced himself in and hug-ged me tight. I breath in his scent and I was surprisingly calm……
“My Nina” he whispered as he broke the hug. He grab both of my wrist and examine it. “A..are you okay?, Are you hurt anywhere?” He asked I still couldn’t speak. The only word that could escape from my mouth was
“Am sorry” tears followed up. I cried as his hands cup my cheeks. “Am so so sorry…I….I…. failed you….I hate myself……I should have open up to….to you ……Kai….. please…. please don’t leave me…..my love… My love for you is really….I really love you…..a….Alex….Alex….I never loved him……m….my parents…..they……”
“Shhh……..” He said and covered the space between us. He kis-sed my tears.
“It’s okay…..I don’t hate you…..I’ll never hate you….. I love you Nina….and am sorry I left you earlier…I should have stand up for you….I love you” he said more tears drop from my eyes “it’s okay….. it’s okay” he hug-ged me and Pat my back I couldn’t help but cry out loud.
Shimmer felt a dark energy was unleashed. It was so powerful. She gathered everyone but the dark energy didn’t come to them.
“Call Kai….tell him Victoria is making a move….and it’s not good…he should hold unto Nina tight* shimmer yelled and Baron did as he was told.
Alex felt something hit his chest. He gro-an and lye on the ground…he started hearing noises.
“Nina is mine…..Nina belong to you Alex….don’t let her go…..take that love charm necklace from her neck…..that Kai is bewitching her….the necklace the necklace”. Alex could hear his own voice tormenting him.
Meanwhile after receiving the message from Baron Kai frown.
He looked at Nina she was long asleep. ‘Hold her tight’ shimmer does mine something and he understood.
Kai took a de-ep breath and climb the bed. He started pressing warm kis-ses at Nina’s back.
“Nina…..Nina…” He woke her up and kis-sed her neck.
“Khi…..” I said with my sleeping voice.
“Nina…what do I do…..? , I really want you here…you won’t stop me right?” He said.
I felt my hands on something long. I wasn’t 100percent sure because I was still sleeping. But with the way he kis-ses my body and breath hot breath I knew where my hands was…..it was inside his boxers. I wanted to jumb off but I remembered with happened earlier.
I turned to him “then take me Kai….if you want me…you can have me” I said
A sweet smile escape from his li-ps. Without haste he captured my li-ps and climb over me.
