Within a week things change. We got a new house. Mom and dad got their personal car.
“Kai.. where did you get all these money?” I asked.
“Relax….it’s just Shimmer doing a little magic” he said.
During this week I was scared….what if Kai ask me to go with him back to Vansham.
I don’t like it there….am always scared there…
“Nina?” I heard him called my name and I was shocked. “Are you okay?, What are you thinking about?”
“…n… nothing….it’s nothing…just…”
“Just what Nina?” Kai asked
“It’s nothing Kai” i said
He hold my hands “Nina….I know something is bothering you…tell me” he said.
“Kai….I….” I was so nervous
“Speak my love” he said. I know he was trying to ease me but I was scared….what if he leaves me….I really want to be with him.
“Kai….I don’t think this will work” i said and he looked shocked
“Why Nina?, Did I do something wrong?, Am sorry….I promise to change….Nina…
tell me what I did wrong…I’ll make it right!” He said, I saw the fear in his eyes.
“No Kai..it’s…it’s not you” i said
“Then what!!!!” He suddenly yell.
“It’s me…..I can’t go back with you…I don’t want to go back to Vansham….I want to stay here in my world Kai….” Tears broke free from my eyes. “I want
to be with you…i love you but….”
“Then I’ll stay here with you” he said
I was surprised…. happiness filled my eyes but it hits me.
“But Kai… Vansham needs you….more than I do…”
“Nina I need you more than anything in my life” he said. “So stop….stop saying all this…it’s driving me crazy!!!” He yelled and walk out.
Baron run in. Kai push him off the way.
“Kai…!!, Kai….!!!” I yelled and run after him but Shimmer hold me.
“Let him go…..he’ll be fine” she said.
I waited all night for Kai but he didn’t return. My eyes were heavy the next morning as the door open I jumb off the chair but it was Moo.
“Did you find Kai?” I asked
“I did….but he doesn’t want to come home” he said.
“Take me to him….” I said
“No Nina….you can’t go to him” the Shimmer yelled
“Are you hiding something from me?” I asked as they all look suspicious.
“Kai went back to Va…….” Eva covered Ella’s mouth before she can finish her sentence but I already know what she wanted to say…tears filled my eyes.
“He left me!!” I asked
Kai went to Vansham to make things clear to his family but he felt his heart sad.
“I have to go back” he said to Kaleb.
“Kai…you can’t just leave Vansham….. Victoria ran away….she’s plotting something really bad….you have to be here to stop it……”
“I can’t….Nina needs me” Kai said
“There is nothing Victoria can’t do…if we don’t stop her this time she might go to her world and hurt Nina……Kai…get back to your senses!!!!!” Kaleb yelled.
Then the shimmer appeared to them.
“Who are you?” Kaleb ask as he draw his sword at her.
“Am shim” she said and Kai rolled his eyes
“She’s the shimmer” he said. Kaleb
“Go now Nina ..she knows your here and she think you’ve left her” she said and Kai disappeared almost immediately
“I’ll take care of Victoria….let’s go” she cat walk with her exposing gown. Kaleb couldn’t help but admire her.
Kai landed ha-rd because he was in haste to see Nina and explain things to her.
He saw Moo and Baron. Without asking they said
“She’s in her room”
Kai rushed to her room and met her crying
“He left me…..I should have bare and go with him…..I was so stupid!!!!!” Eva and Ella both console her. “Kai…..!!!!!,
She cried. Kai felt his heart so sad. She was heart broken and he could feel it.
Without saying anything he walk towards her and say on the bed.
“Am here…..and I’ll never leave you”
I heard his voice and quickly look up. He looked rou-ghand dirty.
“Kai…?” I asked to be sure I wasn’t seeing things
“Yes it’s me….am here now…and I was thinking…. maybe we should buy a bigger house” he said
“Why?” I asked crying and smiling
“Well because I want to live the rest of my life with the woman I love in her world” he said and I smiled again with more tears in my eyes. His warm hands caress my cheeks and wipe my tears.
“Really?” I asked and he smiled. He drew close about to kis-s my but I stop him.
“You’re dirty” i said jokingly and he laughed.
“I’ll go wash up….want to join me?” He asked and I nodded shyly.
Victoria was so angry.
“What do we do now godmother…. everything is over…we are done for!!!” She cried
“No…we are just getting started….why don’t we pay a little visit to our little pet” she said.
“Really…you mean we can go to her world?” Victoria jubilate
“No…not so fast…I’d like you to manipulate her dreams….” She said and Victoria smiled
“Nothing please me more than tormenting that Nina…..hehehe” she giggled…..

Kai and I were alone in the room.
“Let’s go see your parents tomorrow” he said
“Why?” I asked
“To get their blessings”
“But we are already married” I said
“Yes…in my world…not yours….let’s get married again in your world” he said and it sweetens my stomach. I couldn’t help but smile. “You like it when am like this right?” He asked
“Like what?” I asked
“Sweet…” He said and I shamelessly nodded. He giggled. “Nina….tell me what’s bothering you”
“It’s nothing…am happy” i said
“I know..but…” He hold his chest “it’s still worried”
“You can tell?” I asked in surprise
“I can…so tell me….what is bothering you my queen” he said sweet talking me. I smiled.
“Kai am just scared….what…what if….what if you go back to your formal self when you see Victoria….what if you…..”
“I’d never….. Nina…” He hold my hands and drew closer to me “am yours now….”
“You still love her?” I asked
“…” He didn’t say anything….anger flash in his eyes.
“Am sorry I brou-ght her up….it’s just…she’s my greatest fear and you asked me to tell you” i said. I didn’t dare look at his eyes.
“Nina….it’s like.you don’t trust me….why?” He asked looking hurt.
“Because I don’t want this new you to change….it happened before…you suddenly change…and….and….” Kai stood up and walk towards the wall. Suddenly he started punching the wall.
“Kai stop!!!” I yell, he was being scary. Baron heard the noise and ran in with Han. “Stop him hes hurting himself!!!” I cried.
Baron pulled Kai back and saw the most unthinkable….tears in Kai’s eyes. He was crying.
“K…k..Kai?”
“Just go Baron……” He said and look up to me with his eyes now red. “I regret everything I did to you Nina….it still torment me when I remember how I treated you…..will you ever…..ever Forgive me…..?, I hurt you too much” he was like a cry baby….he was so cute….
“Kai……I forgive you….I’ve always forgiven you…..” I said and he walked towards me and hug-ged. So tight. “It’s okay” i said.
He broke the hug and I wipe his tears….I was actually touching Kai’s face without permission…he’s really mine how.
He could only smile “Nina seriously you’re melting me softly….I can’t remember the last time I cried like this”. “Nina I have something for you” he added and brou-ght out his necklace…the one he once gave me. He wore it on me.
“Thank you…..” I said and bite my lower li-ps….the truth been told I was expecting a kis-s. I was disappointed when the kis-s hit my head and not my li-ps.
I remembered his knuckles….I reach out for his hands but they were heal….I breath in relief….I couldn’t bare to see him get hurt.
“I can be very romantic….you’ll want that right?” He asked out of the blue…my face flushed….I took courage and nodded…and immediately I lowered my head.
“Let’s go to sleep now…, Tomorrow is a long day” he said.
I lay on the bed with my side.
“Come lay on my chest….I want to hold you to sleep he said and I jump.almost immediately to his chest. He chuckled.
“Good night” i said
“Goodnight love” he replied and I smiled.
I find a comfortable place in his chest and fell asleep.
Victoria slam her hands on the table.
“Why can’t I get in her dreams!!!!!” She yelled
“She has the amulet on her neck….and Kai is close to her….” She said
“No…no….we can’t just sit back and watch them Happy….. godmother… please….do something!!” She cried
“Child there is nothing I can do…..”
“Then take me to her world” Victoria yelled
“Not now child…..let’s let them be for now…..if we make a move..it will only back fire….” She said and Victoria cried in anger.
