Kai came back into the room but Nina was gone.
“I should have known better..she’s really stubborn!” He said.
Baron came into the room, he wasn’t happy.
“What?” Kai asked
“I heard you wipe the princess memory” he said
“So?” Kai said rudely and sat on the bed.
“You can lie to everyone, but not to me, Kai!” He said. Baron was not just Kai’s right hand but also his best friend.
“It has nothing to do with you!” Kai said
“You bite her didn’t you?” Baron said and Kai’s eyes wide open in shock
“How did you know?” He murmured
“I don’t know but you just told me!” Baron said and Kai frowned his face. “How did it happen?”
“I don’t know….I really don’t know….I was angry…so angry at her…I wanted her to stop talking but she was too stubborn…she kept on saying stuff about Victoria….she was crying…I…I wanted her to stop…it…I hate myself for making her cry…I…I kis-sed her….”
“You what!!!” Baron yelled
“Just let me finish…, So I kis-sed her….it was like my heart wanted to explode….I wanted to taste her….and…I did….she….she was….” Kai eyes start to change to green. Baron was shocked.
“K…kk…Kai your eyes!!!” He yelled but immediately it changed back to dark blue, it’s original color.
“What….?” Kai asked
“Your eyes turned green….just now…when you were talking about Nina…..it….” Baron was speechless. “I now believe what the shimmer said….she’s the one for you Kai”
“Stop it Baron….not you too!” Kai lye on the bed.
“Please Kai….give it a chance!’
“And what if she leaves?” Kai asked, “what if I love her and lose control again if she leaves?”
“You already love her Kai….and she wasn’t met to stay here…..” Baron said and Kai sigh.
“You’re wrong….I don’t love her….I love Victoria…..” a gentle knock hit the door.
“Your highness, The crown princess is here to see you” a guard announced.
Baron decided to tag along Victoria and Kai.
“It’s been long since you came looking for me Tori….am really happy” Kai smiled.
“It’s fine Kai….I was actually here to see Nina too” she said and Kai’s face stiff.
“What about her?” He asked as anger flash in his face.
“About what happened…I didn’t know my maids got her arrested…I wanted to apologise to her” she faked a sad face.
“You don’t have to apologise to her….I wipe her memory…she won’t remember anything….and she deserve it for hurting you” he said, unknown to them Nina was behind.
Baron look at Nina and swallow hard.
Kai continue “you don’t have to be so nice to her…..”
“Kai…she’s your wife….why won’t i be nice to her” she said.
“But she’s not the one I love…, It’s you Victoria” Kai said.
I cleared my throat. They both turned around.
“Ni…. Nina…..!” Victoria called.
“I didn’t mean to disturb your sweet love chat….I’ll be going inside now” I smiled mocking them.
“Where were you?, I thought I told you to stay in doors” he said.
“Where I was is none of your business…. excuse me” i said.
Kai got angry and followed me. Victoria frown and gnash her teeth.
Baron bow to her and followed them.
“Wait right there Nina!” Kai grab my hands.
“Let go of me!” I resist his hold.
“Shut up and follow me!” He drag me along.
We got to the room and push me to the bed.
“What do you want?!” I yelled.
“You…..” He said but quickly correct himself “I mean…I want you to stay in door!”
“Kai…can you just leave me alone…we both promise to stay away from each other business…..what more to you want?” I yelled.
“I…. didn’t you say we can be friends….. you’re my friend!” He said. Look at him.
“Fine….” I said and lye down.
“Where did you go today?” He asked.
“I told you it’s none of your business….I don’t ask you when you go meet Victoria” i said and he frown.
“Ok….. tomorrow….I….”
“I have plans tomorrow…and I heard you wipe my memory, why?” I asked.
“I can’t tell you….just rest”.
Moo and Eva met me at the guarden.
Moo kept on gazing at the side of my neck.
“Moo….is everything okay?” I asked and he frown.
“You’ve been marked….” He touched my neck.
“Huh?” Eva said. Moo moved close to me.
“Let me see……”
“Moo!!!” We heard Kai’s voice. Eva moved far from him.
“Greetings to the second prince” Eva and moo greeted.
He glare at Moo like he was about to eat him up.
“I thought you said you have plans today?” He asked.
“Yes ..I do….you can go spend time with Victoria….am meeting Kaleb here….oh look he’s already here” i point. Kaleb walk down to use. The weather began to turn dark. Kai was angry.
“Great the weather was nice….just a while ago…must you ruin it?” I asked Kai and his gaze soft.
“Am sorry…..” He said
“D…did he just say sorry?” Kaleb asked.
“I guess” i mocked.
“It’s not me….am the the one Changing the weather!” Kai said.
“Everyone run inside…..it’s the skull vaders!!!!!!
” Moo yelled.
Kai grab my hands and we all run inside.
The big ball was being rang…..I look throu-ghthe window…. everyone were running inside.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
“Skull vaders….they are spirit creatures….they go throu-ghyou and….and take your life” Eva shiver.
“I have to make sure Victoria is safe!” Kai said and ran out.
“They hate light….. keep a touch close to you….” Kaleb gave me a burner and ran off.
Everywhere was quiet…only strange sounds were heard. Then it hits me……the kids!!!!.
“The kids….!!!” I yelled.
“No Nina” Han said.
“It’s too late…there’s nothing you can do!” Moo said.
“No….no…..I…I can’t just leave them there…..!!!” I yelled and ran out, I quickly look the door so they won’t stop me.
Kai and Kaleb walk back to the room. They opened the door and say Han and Moo beside the door.
Seeing Kai they jumb up. “Nina…..!” Moo yelled.
“What happened here and where is Nina!!!” Kaleb asked.
I successfully got to the house. I knock on the door. “Kids it’s me…..it’s Nina… open up” the door open almost immediately….I look at them and they all ran to hug me.
“Am scared!” Ella cried.
“Shh…Ella don’t cry….” I calm her down.
“Our touches won’t last long…..we are going to die” Alex said.
“No…am here… nothing will happen to you…..we have to get out of here….trust me…i won’t let anything happen to you” i said.
I carried Ella on my back……we start walking .
“It’s okay….just follow behind me…..” I confront them.
We were half way when the strange noise came closer to use…..the kids scream and run to my back……I saw the skeleton skull….it was covered in smoke and was in thin air…so scared.
“STAY BACK!!” I yelled at it. “Don’t hurt use…..can’t you see they are just kids…. please” i said and it started laughing.
“I want your warmth!” I said.
“Please…just…just let the kids go…I’ll let you have my warmth” I pleaded.
“Nina .. no…don’t make a deal with a Vader!!!” Alex yelled.
“I will take you all!!” It said.
“No….no please…..” I pleaded and they complete three. I was so scared.
“You’ve heard from the girl from another world which lives in the palace and was married to the second prince if Vansham?, Am that girl….am very special…if you let the kids go…I promise I’ll do anything you want!” I said.
“Remember your world…..we will come back for you!!!”
“Nina!!!!” I heard Kai’s voice and they disappeared.
We were taken back into the palace.
“Nina….what deal did you make with the vaders!!!” Kai asked……….

Kai look at the kids…. So she’s been sneaking out of the palace to see them?, He look at Nina. Her head was low and she was drawing on the floor with her leg.
The king and the queen came to us.
“Greetings to the King and the Queen” everyone said, well except me, I was cut off guard.
“What are these kids doing here?” The king asked. Victoria came to join us.
All eyes where on me when I lift my head.
“Nina?” The queen called.
“I….I….” My body seems to change…, I suddenly started to feel cold. My throat was dried too. “Sorry….I brou-ght….. ” My voice cracked.
Kaleb walked closer to me and his hands hold mine. “She’s cold” he said.
“What wrong with me?” I asked.
Kai walk closer to us. He’s face was not pleased. “What deal did you make with the vaders!!” He yelled, maybe because I was cold…his voice scare me.
“Kai…don’t yell at her!” Kaleb fire back.
“Then make her talk!” Kai wave his hands in the air.
“She said she’ll give them her warmth!” Ella said.
“What!!” Kaleb yelled.
“Great!” Kai said.
I looked up to Kaleb “am cold” I said.
“Summon the shimmer!” The King yelled. I look over at Victoria and she has a small smile on her li-ps.
Kaleb was the one I was leaning on, Kai just tag himself with Victoria.
Kaleb pulled his jacket off and wore it on me.
“Thank you Kaleb” I whispered
“It’s okay Nina…. are you getting warm now?” He whispered back.
“No….but thanks to you…my heart is still warm” i said and he smiled.
Kai eyes darkened as he saw them…. Kaleb was so close to Nina….the image of Kaleb kis-sing her flash in his head which made him got angrier.
Kai walked to them. Kaleb wrap his hands around me. His huge figure protected mine.
“I…uhh…” He cleared his throat “I’ll take care of her now…” He reach his hands to drag me away from Kaleb. Kaleb released his hold.
“I want to be with Kaleb!” I said and Kaleb smiled while Kai face showed he was irritated.
“He’s your husband…let him take care of you” Kaleb said, he patted my shoulders and stood up.
Kai sat closer to me and I moved away from him.
“Don’t be stubborn!!” He yelled.
“Don’t be so harsh on her” Kaleb said harshly
“Kaleb don’t go!” I said and hold his hands “I feel safer with you.
“It’s okay Nina….he won’t hurt you” he said
“Even if he does he’ll only wipe my memory…” I said holding Kaleb tighter……………..TB
