Madelyn’s pov ➫
I opened my eyes slowly,letting out a tired yawn . I sat up ,my eyes roaming around the room in search of him .
“Did he left without waking me up ?” I muttered and took the phone he got me few days again even tho I tried talking to him not to ,he still did .
“ damn !!” I exclaimed when I saw the time .
“ he will be back soon “ I muttered and immediately got down from the bed .
Trying to leave the room ,my eyes got a glimpse of something,gaining my attention. I walk towards the table and opened the note on it .
“ I made something for you ,heat it up ,Eat and do take the drugs “ I read and my face lit up .
“ he left so early . How then did he got the time to prepare something?” I thought my cheeks turning red .
I ran out of the room to the kitchen. Lo and behold , he really did .
“ He’s so sweet “ I muttered and heat the food up as instructed by him ha .
I danced happily, waiting for the food to get heat up . Got it out and took it to the table ,the smile on my face getting wider and wider just thinking about his sweetness.
“ Madelyn your teeth “ my instinct reminded and I gasped loudly.
Keeping the food on the table ,I rushed to the restroom .
I just couldn’t wait to have a taste of the food. His food are always delicious. I hurry up with it and before you know it , I was done .
I rushed back to the table and sat down , staring and smiling at the food .
Slowly I scooped a spoonful of the food and ate it . It taste really good I’m not gonna lie .
“ hmmm” i hummed smiling ear to ear .
“ I love you boy “ I said with a wide smile .

“ hmm. I saw some people yesterday,that’s why I’m just asking “ Eli whispered and he stopped.
“ who are they ?” He asked
“ I don’t know ,but they were dressed in black suits and by their looks ,I could tell they were rich .they were just walking around without getting anything. I wanted to tell you that last night ,but couldn’t “ Eli replied
“ do you think they know she’s alive ?” He asked
“ I don’t know . If I see them again ,then I’m gonna approach them to know what they want “ Eli replied

Wealth got in the truck and started driving. Noticing black cars following him . taking every route he took , was kinda suspicious.
He continue without thinking much about it ,but still the cars was after him .
He stopped the truck somewhere close to a shop ,staring at the side mirror, they stopped too .
“ they are after me ?” He muttered and got out , pretending to get something.
The cars were still there , waiting for him to keep moving .

“ do you think he knows ?” One of them asked .
“ I think so . I will approach him , to confirm the necklace, just hold on “ Jaxon said and got outta the car .
He walked towards the truck,looking around for him .
Wealth got out of the store he went into earlier and gave him a questioning look .
“ I don’t know ,but I miss my way “ Jaxon said ,staring at his neck .
“ you missed your way ? Where are you going to ?” Wealth asked .
“ umm….I’m…im searching for someone “ he replied,stuttering which gave wealth more reasons to be suspicious.
“ don’t you know the address of the person ?” Wealth asked
“ I do, but just can’t remember it . My phone died down and I can’t contact him “ Jaxon replied
“ if he’s looking for someone, does he have to come with two cars ?” He thought staring at the cars from where they were both standing.
“ can I make use of your phone for just a minute?” Jaxon asked .

Pretending to dial a number,he scrolled through the contact list carefully.
“ Noona Madelyn ?! “ Jaxon thought
“ aren’t you supposed to dial the number ?” Wealth asked
“ oh yes “ he muttered . He dialled the number and placed the phone on his ear .
📞” it’s me Jaxon . Where was the address again ? My phone died down and I had to make use of someone else’s “ he said .

Wealth stood there , looking at him ,till he got in the car and drove off , with the other car driving behind him .
“ that was suspicious “ he muttered and got in the truck after they disappeared from his sight .

He walked out of the room and bumped into her ,just coming out from the bathroom . She slipped and fell on his arms in a fast motion.
“ ahh!!” Madelyn screamed thinking she’s gonna hit the ground .
She slowly opened her eyes when the strong arms caught her .
She looked at him and he immediately look away
“ what’s with the feisty look ?” Madelyn thought staring into his eyes .
