Kaylan Yelp painfully and look down at her bleeding self
“What have I done?” Miah bit on her fingers Fearfully as she watch Kaylan
“My baby.. Kaylan held her stomach
The door burst open immediately
“Babe I’m ho.. Dean couldn’t complete his statement when he sighted Kaylan on the floor bleeding profusely
“Kaylan.. he called and rush to her
“Dean.. Miah also called since he didn’t notice their presence.
Dean tilted his head sideways and his eyes landed on her
“Tyler?” He gasp hatefully.
“Dean it wasn’t intentional.. I swear” She cried as she walked up to him
“Who told you you could show your ugly face in this house?” Dean yelled, his eyes glinted with hatred
“I’m sorry Dean” She held him
“I didn’t mean… she couldn’t complete her statement when he push her rou-ghly away from himself and she landed on the floor heavily
“I would never lay my hands on any lady, but I might make an exception for you if you don’t leave this house, snake!” Dean said angrily and quickly carried Kaylan in a bridal style to his car
He got to the driver’s seat and drove off to doctor bank’s hospital
She stood up on her feet and glared at Bluey
“You’re of no use Bluey” Miah yelled and the boy began to cry
“Just stop! Your noise irritate me” Miah yelled again but little Bluey didn’t stop crying instead his cries became louder.
“I said shut up” She said and immediately landed him a slap and he cried even more
“You’re just as useless as your dad, he wouldn’t even let me explain. He choose his recent girlfriend over me and you also want to choose her over me?” She shouted and brush her hair backwards
“Mom, you’re scary” Bluey cried and she exhaled de-eply
” I’m sorry” She said and wanted to hold him but he shifted back
“C’mon blue eyes, I didn’t mean it, mom is sorry” She said and pulled him into a hug
” Your dad will have to accept us no matter what!” She smir-ked

“Why are we here?” Sapphira asked looking around the restaurant
“Nothing.. just wanted to see your beautiful face” Collins replied and sapphira could feel her cheeks turning red immediately
“What do you wanna eat?” He asked, picking up the menu
“It’s fine, I’ll take just soda”
“Just soda?” He asked and she nodded
He called the waiter and told him their orders.
“You haven’t given me an answer yet.. Collins said and Sapphira started picking on her nails
Collins noticed it and smiled
“I’ll wait.. he said She looked up at him
“I… Dean’s call came in immediately, cutting him off.
“I will pick this.. he said and she nodded.
? I’m at uncle’s hospital. Kaylan got admitted
? What happened to my pretty Kaylan? Collins asked concernedly and Sapphira gulp
Somehow she felt jealous

“I’m sorry sapphy but I need to be on my way now” he told Sapphira
“Did something happened to ‘your pretty Kaylan? She asked jealously, emphasizing on the ‘Your’
“Oh, she’s my brother’s girlfriend. The one you saw with me the other day at the beach.. Collins explained
“Is that so?” She asked awkwardly and he giggled
“You don’t have to worry, it’s you my heart beat for”. Collins said and peck her without warning. Sapphira blus-h heavily
“Let’s go together.. Collins said but she shook her head
“My regards to her and sir Dean, I told my mom I wouldn’t stay long… I’ll see them some other time” she said and walked close to him such that their faces were just inches apart..
Collins gulped down nothing as he stared at her li-ps
“I will be on my way now.. she said and he nodded
She tiptoed and pecks li-ps shortly before leaving his presence
What just happened? Is that a Yes? Collins wondered as he watch her leave.
“Sapphira. He called but she only flash him a smile.
“Take care of yourself and 143.. She Made signs with her fingers and smiled at him before finally exiting the restaurant
“143? What does she mean? He wondered.
“gosh She’s driving me nuts… He laughed and paid the waiters before leaving for his car
“Pretty Kaylan I Hope you and my little angel are fine.. he sigh as he drove out of the restaurant

“Uncle how is my wife?” Dean asked in tears.
“Your wife?” Doctor Banks furrowed his brow. “You didn’t tell me you got married.. he added
“Please uncle, no time for joke, how is she?”
” Aren’t you gonna ask about the baby?” Doctor Banks asked
“She needs to be fine first. Even if she lost the baby, we can always make another one.. so how is she?” He asked
“Aren’t you…
“Can you just go straight to your point uncle?” Dean shouted
” I’m sorry” he apologized when he realized he had just raised his voice at his uncle
“You’ve grown up” Doctor Banks smiled widely. He couldn’t believe his little nephew was in love
“Kaylan is fine and..
“Yes.. Dean exclaimed. “Can I see her?” He asked
“Of course you can. Thank goodness you brou-ght her on time else she would have lost the pregnancy… but the babies are doing great” Doctor banks smiled
“Babies? uncle, did you just say babies?” Dean asked excitingly and Banks nodded
“Yeah… and according to the scan, they’re both girls” Doctor banks said and Dean immediately ran to Kaylan’s ward leaving his uncle behind.
The news gave him excessive joy that he didn’t know how to express it
“Dean.. Kaylan called immediately he got into her ward while he stood, staring at her pa-ssionately
“Sunshine.. A tear rolled down his cheeks, confusing Kaylan
“What’s wrong, did I lost the baby?” She asked.
Tears had began gathering in her eyes and Dean took long stride to her and hug her tightly
“Nothing would ever come between us. Not even the dog that attacked you” Tears left his eyes as he hug-ged her
“I will never leave you. I will stay by you throu-ghthick and thin” Kaylan hug-ged him back and he couldn’t stop his tears as those words left her mouth
“How are you feeling? Do you want anything? Are you craving for anything?” He asked, all in one breath and she nodded
“What’s that? Anything.. he said and she pouted her li-ps
She pointed at her li-ps and he smiled before ki-ssing her
He made to break the ki-ss but she pulled him back to herself, de-epening the ki-ss
He smiled and held her head in place, ki-ssing her pa-ssionately.
He disengaged from the ki-ss and rub her earlobe
“I love you Kaylan, I swear” He said and she blus-hed
“When are we going home?” She asked
“What did she tell you? I mean Tyler.. Dean asked
“She’s Tyler? That gold digger?” Kaylan exclaimed and Dean smiled.
He had finally learned to let go of his past all thanks to the girl Infront of him
“She said Bluey is your son.. Kaylan replied
Dean was actually expecting her to get angry or question him but none was coming
“Aren’t you gonna asked me if it’s true or not” Dean replied stro-king her hair
“Even if it’s true, I will accept him but not her… I trust you… She said and Dean hug-ged her again
“So what did doctor banks tell you?” Kaylan asked disengaging from the hug
“He said you should have enough rest and that…….. He paused
“And?” A frown creased her forehead
“That we should Fu-ck often” he whispered and she smacked his head
“Language!” She scolded and he pouted
” I should start giving enough milk to my babies.. he smiled
“B-babies? Kaylan asked, surprised
“Yeah..am gonna be a father to two beautiful girls… He said
” Omg” Kaylan exclaimed and hug-ged him immediately
“Dean…she sob
“Why are you crying? Are you hurting somewhere?” Dean asked fearfully and made her face him
“I’m just too happy” She smiled as tears left her eyes
“Why are you crying? Is something wrong” Collins asked from behind walking to them with Brittany
He pushed Dean away and he (Dean) landed on the floor heavily but no one seems to care about him
“Does it hurt anywhere?” Collins asked, checking her out
“My baby.. Brittany hug-ged her
“Is everything alright? I heard you bled. Is everything okay? And the baby? How is she?” Brittany asked tearfully
“Mom ….
“Pretty Kaylan, what’s wrong..
“Mom.. it’s a twin..she smiled
“Twins? ” Brittany asked to be sure
“Yeah, two girls.. Kaylan replied and Brittany hug-ged her again
“Why is everyone crying?” Molly asked from the door
” Molly” They all turned to her
“Bestie, what happened to my sister? You sounded like something terrible had happened” Molly said
Collins had called and informed them too
“Mrs Anderson, you’re here.. Brittany said and the two women hug-ged each other
“I think I need to rest now.. Kaylan said and they all nodded
“Sis.. hope you are okay?” Molly asked and Kaylan nodded
“You should be taking care of mom and not stressing her”
“I know.. Molly rolled her eyes
“Will you come visit us tomorrow?” Molly asked and Kaylan hummed a reply
“Alright then. Let’s go home mom, she’s doing okay.. she turned to her mom and her mom chuckled
“My baby, take care of yourself okay?” Mrs Anderson said and ki-ssed her forehead
“I will mom.. she smiled
“I will go see them off.. Brittany said and walked out with Mrs Anderson and Molly

“So that’s what happened?” Collins asked and Dean nodded. Dean had explained things to him
“That bitc-h.. Collins balled his fist. ” She even has the guts to come back”
” She’ll surely go back the way she came.. Dean said and Collins furrowed his brow

“You’ve change…..Collins smiled.
“I was expecting you to have strangle her(Tyler) to Dead” He said
” I’ll never lay my hands on a lady” Dean replied and walked to where Kaylan was sleeping while Collins followed behind
“I’m glad you came into his life” Collins smiled as he watch her sleep

“No one else will have you. I will definitely make you mine again” she muttered and smoked from the cigarette
She stared at sleeping Bluey.
“None of you can drive me away not even Brittany.. Dean is rightfully mine” she smir-ked and puff out the smoke from her mouth and nostrils

“So Dean, what happened? Why did Kaylan bleed? Did she get into a fight with someone? Brittany asked

“Collins… Hiding something from momma?” Brittany furrowed her brow
“No mom,.. it’s actually nothing.. Collins lied since he und-erstood Dean’s actions
“Alright, I’ll have to go home and cook something for her then.. Brittany said
“No mom.. Dean and Collins said at once.
They both stared at Brittany who had a confused look on then faced each other
“Are you two hiding something?”
“Mom, you worry alot, uncle said she only needs to be closer to me that’s all. So don’t stress yourself and go home.. Dean said
“Yes mom.. you don’t need to stress yourself. I’ll cook for her” Collins a-ssured
Brittany heave a sigh before nodding slowly.
“I will be on my way now,,, tell Kaylan I left already” she said and they nodded
“Bye…they waved and she waved back

“did Sapphira reject you? Do you want me to talk to her for you?” She asked again
” Who told you about her?” He frown
“Dean” She pointed at Dean and he smiled goofily
“You really have a loose mouth.. Collins faced him and he scoff
“Anyway pretty Kaylan, if someone tells you 143, what does it means?” Collins asked
“143? Isn’t it just a number? Does it have any hidden meaning?” Dean asked
“143…. Kaylan trailed off.
“Wait , did Sapphira tell you that?” She asked and Collins nodded
“It’s a code, she was indirectly expressing her feelings to you.. Kaylan said but Collins and Dean gave her strange looks
“How does 143 express feelings?” Dean wondered
” Are these part of pregnancy signs?” He touched her forehead and she slapped his hands off
“I’m serious.. she was just telling you she loves you indirectly.. Kaylan frown
“Pretty Kaylan, can you please don’t mind this di-ckhead and make me und-erstand?” Collins said sitting closer to her and she smiled
“I can’t believe I am about lecturing you both… She said proudly and Dean scoffed
“1 indicates “I”, 4 indicates “love” and 3 indicates “you”. So she simply told you ” I love you.. Kaylan said and Collins eyes widdened–Just what he wanted to hear
“You love who?” Dean asked, feigning annoyance
“Awwn, I love no one else but you” Kaylan said and ki-ssed him while Collins scoff
“I’m tired and want to go home.. Kaylan said again. When she discovered Dean was hesitating, she began to sing it as a song instead

Her voice sounded horrible that They had to close their ears
“Okay fine.. let’s go home” Dean said and she shriek in excitement.
“You will soon become a mother, yet you’re so childish” Dean said and carried her in a bridal style as they walked out of the hospital
“I will be on my way now Uncle” Dean said to banks who had walked them outside
“Alright.. take care of yourselves and make sure she eats enough veggies.. he said and Dean nodded
“I’ll be waiting for your turn.. he faced Collins and Collins fake a smile
“Don’t give me that” Doctor banks flic-ked his forehead
“See you boys another day.. he added and walked back to the hospital while they drove home

They got home and discovered the house was filled with weird smell– smell of cigarettes
Kaylan started coughing immediately
“Did someone smoke in here?” Collins wondered
“Aunt…. Bluey ran to Kaylan and she carried him
“How are you blue eyes?” She asked and he smiled charmingly at her
“You must love the kid a lot” Dean said and she nodded.
“Have you eaten? Kaylan asked and her hands mistakenly touched Bluey’s back and he wince
“Did something happened? Where is your mom?” She asked and raised his clothes up only to see five fingers imprinted on his back. It was damn red
“Omg” Kaylan gasped
“Did your mom do this to you?” She asked and he nodded slowly.
“And what do you think you are doing? Miah asked from behind and they all turned to her
Kaylan walked to her and landed her a slap.
“How can you do that to a child? What kind of a mother are you?”
Miah wanted to talk but Kaylan landed her another slap.
Dean chuckled softly as Miah held her cheeks
” She’s crazily awesome” Dean smiled as he stared at Kaylan
