SOMEWHERE IN LA

BFFs APARTMENT**

“Did you really expected her to agree into babysitting a kid?”

“I didn’t but I just…what was I even thinking?” Zara face palmed herself.

“Even if you put a gun to her head, Diamond won’t babysit. She would rather look after mice.”

“What? She hates them?”

“Exactly my point.” Ayden said.

“Ugh. How are we going to help her, huh?”

“That’s mission impossible, girl.” He stared down at his phone and sighed. “I’m off.”

“To work?”

“Today is my day off.”

“So where are you headed to?”

Ayden rolled his eyes. “And when did you start monitoring my movement? Focus on yourself and stop poke-nosing.”

“Jerk.” Zara muttered.

“Thanks for the compliment.” He winked and walked out throu-ghthe front door.

Diamond descended the stairs, scrolling throu-ghher phone.

She walked past Zara and went inside the kitchen.

Zara followed her.

“I said I’m sorry.”

Diamond ignored her.

“Are you going to keep ignoring me?”

No answer.

“The woman already left with her kid.”

No answer.

“Diamond…”

No answer.

“Okay, I think this is getting out of hand. I’m sorry, Diamond. I really am. I promise never to pull something like this again.”

Diamond looked away from her phone screen to Zara’s face.

A smile appeared on Zara’s face. “I’m sorry.” She apologized for the umpteenth time.

Diamond let out a de-ep breath. “You should never do something like that again. Never.”

“I promise.”

“You know how much I hate kids. They make my skin crawl.” She cringed.

“Uh…but kids are beautiful.” Zara pointed out.

“No, they are frustrating.”

“But that’s what makes them beautiful.”

“I don’t fu-cking give a fu-ck. And why are you lecturing me on kids now? You want to bring in another kid for me to babysit, is that it?” Diamond raised a brow at her friend.

Zara quickly shook her head. “Of course not. I promise not to do something like that again. Really.”

“Whatever.” They walked out of the kitchen. “Are you not going to work?”

“It’s not yet time for my shift. Seeing you out of your room, it seems like you are done with the chapter.” Zara observed.

Diamond grinned. “Luckily. Took me years though.”

“You are really trying, honestly. I can’t even imagine myself sitting down in one sp-ot for hours while constructing words of 3,000 or more.” She popped up her thumb finger. “You are a true legend.”

Diamond giggled. “You are so funny. Though, I know I’m a true legend.”

They heard a knock.

“Where is Ayden?”

“He went out but didn’t tell me where. Maybe he’s the one at the door.”

“Doesn’t he have his keys with him?”

“You know how forgetful that boy is. Let me go check.” Zara offered as she walked to the door.

She unlocked and opened it.

“Oh. Hi.” She greeted, stepping aside for the guest to enter.

Felix walked in, smirking.

“Where is she?” He asked.

“In the living room.” Zara replied.

They both strolled to the living room and saw Diamond there.

“Hey babe!” Felix said cheerfully.

“Babe!” Diamond ran towards him and jumped into his arms, smiling widely.

“How is my favorite baby doing?”

Diamond dropped down on both feet. “She’s doing great. I miss you so much, babe. When did you return?”

He shrugged. “Few hours ago?”

“Aw. You should be at home resting.” Diamond pouted.

“I can’t. I have to see my baby first before resting. You come first, honey.” He winked.

Diamond blus-hed.

Zara cleared her throat, grabbing their attentions. “I will be leaving for work.”

“But your shift…”

“Don’t worry.” Zara cut her off. “I know how much you two misses each other. Have fun but,” She gave them a warning look. “use protection.”

“Get out.” Diamond said in between laughter.

Zara blew a ki-ss at her before rushing out of the house.

Felix wrapped his arms around Diamond’s wa-ist and pulled her close to himself.

“I miss you, baby.” He muttered, ki-ssing her ne-ck.

Diamond suc-ked in a breath, wrapping her arms around his ne-ck, drawing him impossibly closer to herself.

“I miss you more.”

“Do you know how ha-rd it was for me to stay away from you for that long? I almost died.”

Diamond chuckled. “Stop exaggerating.”

“I’m dead serious.” He ki-ssed her jaw, collar-bone, and shoulder blade.

“mmm-hmm.” She hummed not finding the right words to use.

“I want to make love to you baby.” He walked them towards a couch, not letting go of her until she fell backwards onto the chair.

Felix hovered over her, ma-ssaging her bre*sts and b-utt cheeks.

Diamond mo-aned, arching her back.

“Then…make love to me.” She uttered.

“I will…baby. I will.”

TWENTY MINUTES LATER;

Worst fu-cker of the year goes to Felix.

Diamond looked sideways at him and found him sleeping peacefully.

She looked down at her na-ked body and groa-ned, coming up to her feet.

She grabbed his shirt from the floor and wore it over her na-ked body and then went into the kitchen. She poured herself a glas-sof chilled water and took a large gulp.

She wasn’t satisfied. She’s still very h*rny but too bad her dear boyfriend is tired and fast asleep after fu-cking her for twenty minutes.

Diamond love Felix so much and she has been with him for seven good years but their se-x life was…awfully beautiful. Does that even make any sense?

She’s very loyal and would never cheat on Felix no matter what but sometimes she wish she could just go out there and find that hunk man who will ride her into her world of fantasy.

‘Ugh, my novels are driving me crazy.’ She thought to herself, pouring herself another glas-sof water.

She craved for a good se-x so badly. A se-x that will leave her satisfied and at the same time wanting more. Felix can’t do that and too bad she won’t be able to experience it for the rest of her life because she’s stuck with him. Don’they it wrong, she doesn’t regret being with him. She loves him and nothing will ever change that.

Diamond drank the water and dropped the empty cup on the counter table. She walked back to the living room and went upstairs when she still found Felix sleeping.

She sat down on her bed and took out her laptop, she scrolled throu-ghher list of movies and clic-ked on a adult film.

She plugged in her earphone and started watching the scene.

She find herself getting w-et . She pushed the shirt up to her belly and inse-rted two fingers inside her honeypot. She mo-aned, throwing her head backwards as she began fingering herself.

This wasn’t enough satisfaction but at least it was better than what Felix did.

The Ca-ssano’s Residence**

“Cosa hai intenzione do fare al riguardo, capo?” (What are you going to do about it, boss?) Marcello questioned, clenching his jaw.

Mikhail let out a de-ep breath, running his hands throu-ghhis black hair.

“è la cosa giusta ucciderlo, prendere in mano le sue proprietà, compreso il suo popolo e renderli schiavi ma,” (It’s the right thing to kill him, take over his properties including his people and make them slaves but,)

Marcello studied his boss’s face. “Quindi cosa vi ferma, sirgnore?” (So what’s stopping you, sir?)

Mikhail rose to his feet and rounded the table to stand in front of Marcello, his right hand man.

“Sai perche, Marcello.” (You know why, Marcello)

“Per la signora Ca-ssano?” (Because of Mrs Ca-ssano?) He questioned.

Mikhail sighed as he leaned against his desk, folding his arms over his ch-est. “Le ho promesso…oltre ad Armando e’ un amico fidato.” (I promised her… besides Octavius is a trusted friend)

The frown on Marcello’s face de-epened and he clenched his fist in annoyance.

What’s stopping his boss from taking the right step? Because of his stupid promise with his wife? They are mafias for fuc-ksake!

How are they going to protect their women and children, their properties, everything that belongs to them if they don’t do what’s right?

And how can his boss still tag that useless man as a trusted friend after his betrayal?

“Un amico che ti ha tradito non solo una volta, ma due volte! Capo, non pa-ssiamo lasciarlo andare così facilmente. Dite solo la parola e sa.” (A friend who betrayed you not just once but twice! Boss, we can’t let him off so easily. Just say the word and it will be done.)

Marcello was right.

Mikhail knows the right thing to do but he’s only afraid of breaking the promise he made to his dearest wife.

She hates it when he kills people and him on the other hand, hates to see his wife sad.

“Marcello, lasciarlo andare.” (Marcello, let him go.)

“Capo…”

Mikhail cuts him off. “Non parliamo di questo, ok?” (Let’s not talk about this again, okay?)

“Sei sicuro che sarà una buona idea? Siamo mafie ed è normale per noi punire I reati. Sono sicuro che la signora Ca-ssano capirà.” (Are you sure this will be a good idea? We are mafias and it is normal for us to punish offenders. I’m sure Mrs Ca-ssano will und-erstand.)

“MARCELLO! Ho detto che non dovremmo parlarne di più.” (MARCELLO! I said we shouldn’t talk about this again.)

Marcello clenched his fist tightly, holding in his anger.

How will they be feared and respected by other mafias if their boss keep being such a softie?

Other mafias sees them as weaklings and damnit, Marcello is doing everything possible not to go behind his boss’s back and kill all of them.

He nodded his head and said, “Ok, Capo. Spero che non vi pentirete di questa decisione.” (Okay, boss. I hope you don’t regret this decision.) He bowed his head in respect and left the office.

As soon as Marcello closed the door behind him, leaving just Mikhail in his office, he screamed at the top of his lungs knocking off the stuffs on his desk.

“Fottertì!” (fu-ck!).

He punched his fist on the desk continually, groa-ning in anger and frustration.

How can his own friend betray him like this?

This wasn’t the first but the second fu-cking time.

He needs to teach him a lesson but how can he when he obviously don’t want to break the promise he made to his wife, Diamond.

He stared out of the window, looking like one who just climbed down from the mountain.

His hair fell to his face as sweat rolled down to his body.

He needs to calm the fuc-kdown.

He took out a packet of cigarettes and pulled out one stick. He placed it between his li-ps and grabbed his favorite golden lighter but didn’t flic-k it on.

He just stared down at the lighter for some seconds before dropping it down on his desk. He broke the stick of cigarette he had placed between his li-ps and stepped out of his office to find his comfort. The only person that can calm him down without even trying.

He got closer to their room door _Two guards were guiding the door when he got there_ He nodded at them with a straight face indirectly asking them to leave. They got the hint and walked away.

Mikhail was about to reach out to the doorknob when he heard her beautiful voice from inside making a smile appear on his face.

“torte al meile? No, that doesn’t sound right.” She cleared her throat. “Let me try again. torte al mi…mi…”

Mikhail laughed as he opened the door and stepped in.

“torta al miele.” (Honey pie). He corrected, still laughing.

“torta al miele.” She repeated, grinning from ear to ear as she rose to her feet. “You can stop laughing now.”

And he did. He stopped laughing. He doesn’t want to make her sad or angry. That’s the last thing he wanted to do right now.

He shrugged off the white shirt he was wearing. “cosa stai facendo?” (What are you doing?)

Diamond might be worst in speaking Italian even though she has been married to one for seven years but she was trying when it comes to hearing the language.

She drooled at her husband’s body, admiring how well God created a perfect man like him. A man she was proud to call her own.

“Admiring my husband’s body.” She answered, lic-king her lower li-p with the tip of her tongue.

Mikhail laughed har-der , walking closer to her.

“Feel free, Amore.” (Love). “But I was asking about what you were doing before I walked in.”

She blus-hed. “Practicing my husband’s language.”

“Oh really?” He wrapped his strong arms around her wa-ist, careful not to put pressure. “and what have you learnt so far?”

“torte al miele.”

“And?”

“bambino.”(baby)

“And?” He ki-ssed her lightly on her ne-ck, earning a soft mo-an from her as she quickly wrapped her arms around his ne-ck.

“idiota.” (Idiot)

He chuckled, nibbling at her earlobe. “And?”

“anche io ti amo, mia mafie italiana.” (I love you too, my Italian Mafia).

He growl lowly as he peppered hot ki-sses on her face and ne-ck. She mo-aned loudly, bringing him closer if that was even possible considering her big belly.

“And?”

“Ti voglio, Mikhail.” (I want you, Mikhail.)

“mi fa eccitare sendendoti parlare la mia lingua.” (It Fuc-king turns me on hearing you speak my language.) He moved his large hands down and cup-ped her b-utt cheeks, earning a louder mo-an from her. “Accidenti, non riesco a controllarmi.” (Damn, I can’t control myself.) He squ-eezed her b-utt har-der . “You always have a way of comforting me. You are like a drug I’m fu-cking addicted to.”

She threw her head back granting him more access to torture her ne-ck with his hot ki-sses.

“What do you want me to do, bambina?”

“Baciami.” (ki-ss me)

“Sh*t!”

Without any further delay, he crashed his li-ps on hers, ki-ssing her like his life depended on it. Actually his life, his soul, his body, his intestines, everything are depended on her.

He love her so much and will do anything to protect her even if it means dying. He’s ready to die over and over and over again for her.

“Ti amo.” He said against her li-ps.

She smiled. “Me too.”

“I wish I can fuc-kyou right here and now but I don’t want to hurt the baby.” He ma-ssaged her left bre*st.

“The day I give birth to her, you will fuc-kme.” She told him.

Mikhail laughed at that and ki-ssed her again on the li-ps.

“Your wish is my command, my queen.”

LA

BFF’S APARTMENT**

“See you around, babe.”

Diamond nodded. “Yeah.”

They both ki-ssed and Felix left the house.

Diamond shut the door closed and turned to go to the living room when she heard a knock on the door.

‘Did he forget something?’ She thought to herself, thinking it was Felix knocking. She opened the door and found Ayden grinning widely.

“You.” She rolled her eyes, walking away.

“Okay, that wasn’t the reaction I expected.” Ayden slammed the door shit and followed Diamond to the living room.

“Where have you been since morning?” She asked.

“Around?” Ayden shrugged. “What, did you miss me?”

“Why should I?”

“I know, right? Not when you had Felix over.” He had a Naug-hty smile on his face. “You both fu-cked, hmm?”

“That shouldn’t be any of your damn business, Ayden.” Diamond said, her face heating up.

“I see…hope you both didn’t do it on my favorite couch.”

“Uh…we did.”

“Eww. I have to purify the couch now. Seriously, you should have done it in your room. fu-ck.”

Diamond rolled her eyes. “Stop being so dramatic. You’ve had se-x in every part of the house with your boyfriend, did I purify the house?”

“So?”

“I have nothing to say to you.” Diamond shook her head and went towards the stairs but stopped at the bott-om of it. “Um, Ayden?”

“Yeah?”

“Can I ask you a question?”

“Sure. What is it?”

Diamond stayed quiet for some moments that felt like hours.

“Don’t worry.” She waved him off. “You are going to make dinner for us, right?” She asked, changing the subject.

“It’s high time you and Zara start making your own meal.”

“Why should we when we have you?” Diamond laughed.

“I hate you.”

“I love you.” She blew him a ki-ss and rushed upstairs, storming into her room.

✨✨

Diamond’s bedroom**

“Yes…okay…I will send it over tomorrow…yes…I won’t delay it any further….yes. mmm-hmm. Thank you.” She hung the call and let out a de-ep breath, pinching the bridge of her nose.

She was completely exhausted and her editor, Miss Donna isn’t helping matters at all.

Diamond plopped down on the bed and stared up at the ceilings.

‘How ha-rd can it be to get a fu-cking story down and over with, huh?’ She thought to herself, groa-ning loudly.

Her phone beeped. She grabbed it and read the text message from her boyfriend.

FELIX: CAN WE GO ON A DATE TOMORROW?:-)

Diamond frowned. She can’t go on a date tomorrow. She needs to complete her story and them over to Miss Donna.

DIAMOND: I’M SORRY BABE…BUT I CAN’T:-)

His next message came in almost immediately.

FELIX: WHY? IS ANYTHING THE MATTER?:-)

DIAMOND: NO, OF COURSE NOT. I’M JUST SO BUSY WITH WORK:-)

FELIX: WORK? YOU MEAN YOUR STORY WRITING SH*T?:-)

Diamond read the last message over and over again, not expecting her dear boyfriend to say something as rude and mean as that.

Just as he sent it, he deleted it but it was already too late because she has read it.

FELIX: SORRY. I DIDN’T MEAN TO SEND THAT TEXT. IT WAS RUDE AND STUPID:-)

Diamond bite her lower li-p, playing back the text message Flexi had sent to her.

Was that how he has always seen her career?

Doesn’t he like it?

Felix never said anything about her job as a writer so she took it that he didn’t mind and was okay with it but it seems like she was wrong.

Why didn’t he talk to her about it if he really had a problem with the writing career? Why did he keep quiet and acted to be fine with it?

Diamond was so lost in her thought until another message came in.

FELIX: BABE, I’M REALLY SORRY.

She sighed as she typed a reply.

DIAMOND: IT’S FINE BABE, I’M NOT MAD AT YOU.

She quickly added.

DIAMOND: I WILL LIKE TO GO TO BED NOW. LET’S TALK LATER, OKAY? GOOD NIGHT.

She dropped her phone aside and heaved out another de-ep sigh, taking her lower li-p into her mouth.

‘I hope to dream about what to write in my next chapter.’ Those were her last thought before she fell asleep.
