I said to Linda.
It has been a month since everything bounced back to normal.
It has been a beautiful, lovely and a blissful month for us.
“Wow! Yummy! Yummy! This food taste so delicious like my handsome prince charming that prepare the food”
She said nodding her head as I gave her the spoonful of the food.
“Did you like the food?
I asked with a smiles.
“Likeness is un-derstatement! I love the food, you know what my love, you will teach me how to cook”
“Sweetheart you don’t have to bother, I will be the one cooking”
I said.
“No dear, I don’t like that idea, I nee-d to learn how to cook so that sometimes I will also cook for you and not only you that will be cooking”
She sounded.
“Okay love, no problem I will teach you”
I said as I gave her another spoonful of the food.
“Thank you so much my love, did you know what, I have a heart and that is true,But now it has gone from me to you,So care for it just like I do,Because I have no heart and U have two, my heart now belongs to you so handles it with care”

I said as I brou-ght out the drugs.
“I don’t like taking this drugs, the smells makes me to throw up”
She frowned.
“I know my love but you have to try and take it, it will help in ma-king your bones stronger”
I said.
“Stronger as you said! As if the drugs will make me stand to my feet so I got no reasons of taking this drugs because they are no use in my life, I have accepted my fate of being cripple and in wheelchair forever, my only fear now is Mom I don’t know how she will feel if she find out my pres£nt condition”
She sounded so bad.
It breaks my heart when she remembers her predic@m£nt and am the cause of all this.
“See my love, miracle still work one day you will stand to your feet again”
I said.
She laughed and said,
“You said miracle! From where? When the doctor has confirmed me being paralyzed, when I can’t feel my two legs, I don’t believe the word MIRACLE”
She sounded.
“My love I know and believe with the faith in me that you will not be in this wheelchair forever in your life, you stand to your feet”
I said as-suring her.
“I know you are saying all these to cheer me up but don’t worry I have accepted my fate so give me the drugs”
She said.
I gave her drugs and drank it.
“Will you like to sleep now?
I asked.
“Yes my love!
She said and her face was not bright at all.
I carried her up to the room and l@yher down on the be-d.
“I will be right back”
I said and went downstairs to cleaned up the dinning table.
Few minutes later, I was done with the cleaning, I went up shower and went to be-d.
She has not sle-pt and her face was not bright too, I c@m£ up with an idea to light up the face, I started cracking jokes which she laughed and laughed still we sle-pt off.

I rushed in with so much excited.
“What is the good news all about?

I sat down beside her,
“I met one of my longest friend who the wife have the same condition with you, I asked him about the wife he told me the wife I can walk again which I found it so shocked to believe, I asked him how did it happen, he said that someone connected him to a doctor in India and the doctor operated on the wife’s legs so I told him about you he said that I got nothing to worry about that you will walk again like his wife that the only thing I nee-d now is arrange for us to travel to India he will connect me to the Doctor”
I explained with so much joy.
“And you are sure that the operation will work for me?
She sounded.
I held her hands and said,
“My love all we have to do is to have faith and give it a try, it will work”
“A try!
She sounded.
“A try and with the faith in us it will work and you will start walking again my love”
I as-sured her.
“I have to think about it first, you no it is my life we are talking about here”
She said.
“No problem sweetheart, give it a thought, have you eaten?
“Yes babe! I had some snacks with jui-ce”
“And you are okay with that?
“Yes my love, am okay for now”
“Okay, see you let me go up and shower”
I went up.
I thank God for ma-king it possible for me to meet Dave, I know Linda will go for the operation and it will be a successful one.

One week later, Linda has accepted to go for the operation so we booked our flight and we will be leaving on Monday, Dave has also connected with the Doctor so he will expecting us on Wednesday.
On Monday morning, we waked up early prepared ourselves, our fight is 10 o’clock.
Before 9am we were alre-ady done and drove to the Airport, did the necessary things that nee-d to be done by 10am we flew to India.
We arrived on Tuesday because it was a long journey.
On Wednesday, we went to see the doctor and he examined her and told us that it is a manual case that the operation will be the next day.
On Thursday, we c@m£ to the hospital for the operation.
“My love listen to me don’t have any negative mind at the operation room,just be declaring in yourself and with the faith in you that the operation will be a successful one”
I said.
I brou-ght out a br@celet and put it in her ankle.
“When you look at the br@celet smile because am with you okay, nothing will happen to you, I love you and everything will be fine”
I gave her my word, she was crying.
“Be strong for me and always remember that I love you and I will be right here waiting for you”
I said and gave her a k!ssbefore the nurse took her to the operation room.
I was walking around the waiting room, kneeling and praying to my God.
Two hours later, they are still at the operation room, I keep on praying and declaring for a successful operation.
One more hour, the doctor have not come out and I bec@m£ so restlessness and worried.
“What could be going on in the operation room?
I thought as I keep on praying.
Minutes ago, the doctor c@m£ out and I rushed to him immediately.
“Doctor how is my wife?
I asked.
“Congratulations sir! The operation was successful, once the bandages are re-move she will start walking perfectly well again”
He said and my whole b©dy bec@m£ life again.
“Thank you so much Doc! Am so greatful”
I shaked him with so much joy.
“You are welcome!
“Can I go and see her?
“For sure, she is in room 112 but dont disturb her she nee-d rest”
“No problem doctor”
I said.
I went to her room, my heart was filled with so much joy, the happiness am feeling right now is beyond human imagination.
She was slee-ping like a beautiful angel she is, I care-sses her hair and k!$$£d her on the forehead.
She blinked her eyes and opened it.
“My love!
She said.
“I did not mean to wake you up, I was being so excited that you can now walk again”
I said with so much joy.
“My love I thought that will not see you again but this br@celet gives me hope and the strength and reminds me that you are here with me”
She said.
“My love am so happy I can’t wait to see walk again, the doctor said that once the bandages are re-move you will start walking”
I said.
“My love am so happy that I can feel my legs again”
She sounded with tears of joy.
“Am I also happy too,let me leave you to rest, the doctor said that you nee-d a full rest”

“I will see you later, I nee-d to see the doctor”

I never thought that I will ever walk in my life, I have accepted my fate of being cripple but what can I say the thought of man can never be the thought of God.
I felt this so much joy in me that I can feel my legs,it was not really easy for me at the operation room but with the love I have for Maxwell have me the strength.
Maxwell’s phone ranged and it was Pamela on the line.
“Maxwell I have been waiting to hear from you, how is Linda? Have she come out from the operation room?
“Yes Pamela!
“Is you Linda! How are you doing? How was the operation?
She sounded with so much joy.
“The operation was so successful, once the bandages are re-move I will start walking again Pamela”
I sounded with joy.
“Am so happy to hear this and I cant wait to see you”
She shouted.
“Even me, I have missed you, how was Sliver’s wedding?
“Linda, you nee-ded to see the wedding, it was so clas-sic and wonderful, Sliver and her husband traveled to New York for their honeymoon, I gave her your number so she will call you”
She sounded.
“That’s so lovely, I be expecting her call so babe what’s up with you and Henry?
I sounded.
“We are d@t!ngnow and am so lucky to find such a caring, lovely and adorable person like Henry, Henry is exactly the type of man I have been praying to have in my life”

“The doctor said that this bandages will be re-move tomorrow”

The bandages was re-moved and i was so happy that she can walk again no more wheelchair for her.
The doctor ruins so tests on her before discharging her before we flew back at Nigeria.
Three days we c@m£ back, me and Henry decided to surprise our loves by hosting an engagement p@rty.
The decoration of the venue was so beautiful and awesome, everywhere was sparkling and shinning.
Friends and relatives were invited even Linda’s Mom c@m£ without her daughter notice.
As they were about to enter the light went off and it the moment they entered it was turned on.
They looked so surprised, shocked and speechless.
We went to them, I held her hand while Henry also dose the same with his love.

We walked to the table and she was so excited to see her mom.

I knelt down in front of her and said,

And here… It’s me who live for you, Pamela marry me?
I said as I pres£nted the ring to her.
“Henry, Sweet Fruits Nice 2 Eat, Sweet Words Easy to Say But Sweet Person ha-rd to Find And, it’s My Goodness How Did I Find such a kind and loving person like you, Herny I love you so much and I will marry you”

The engagement was so awesome, two friends being engaged the same day.
The wedding was fixed and both friends wedded the same day.
The wedding was so awesome and a memorable one even Sliver and her husband also c@m£ for the wedding.
We traveled to New York for our honeymoon while Sliver and Henry traveled to Spain.
What can I say? My hire b©yfri£ndended up being my loving and caring husband and we lived happily ever after.
