Episode Sixty Four
âHeyâ Michael said.
âHiâ Becca replied smiling, she looks slim and very hungry âWhy isnât anyone hu-gging me??â She asked jokingly, everyone laughed, Michael held her hand.
âThatâs because the doctor warned us against suchâ Michael replied, as they walked back up stairs. He helped her to sit up on the be-d, he took his phone and made a call, few minutes, a maid entered with a big tray, she bowed and handed it over to Michael, who muttered a âThank Youâ, He prepared her to eat and within seconds, she was eating, after the first round of food, he gave her fruits.
âThanks alot Michaelâ She said smiling.
âNo I should be thanking you, for staying alive for me and being strong, I donât know what I would have done if I had lost youâ He said.
âAm so sorryâ She said âI didnât tell you about my problemsâ
âNo biggie, itâs fine, at least you are here nowâ He said smiling, he took the tray away from her and placed it on the table.
âMichael, why did that foreigner try to kill me and why did she call you a murderer, donât tell me you are a business man and also a mob bossâ Becca said frowning, Michael laughed.
âNo, am not⊠She tried to get to me using you, just someone after our money, jealous enemiesâ Michael said smiling.
âOoohhhâ She said nodding her head âLike seriously, I canât still believe you are Darlington, like girls crush over you guys and everyone talks about you allâ She said with surprise, Michael smiled, She saw Michaelâs br@celet and as she to-uched her wrists, it was empty, she to-uched her ne-ck and looked at her fin-ger, she couldnât find any of the jewelries.
âThereâ He said as he handed them over to her, she smiled âYeah, I was the one that cooked your foodâ He said, She looked at him with surprise.
âReally??!!â She asked shocked.
âYepâ Michael answered her smiling.
âIt was so good, I believe you nowâ Becca said, Michael smiled and for few minutes he stared at her âMichael???â She called but he didnât answer, she moved closer to him and tapped him, he immediately engulfed her in a hu-g.
âI miss youâ He said his voice laced with emotions mixed together, she hu-gged him ti-ghtly.
âSame hereâ Becca said, they both dis-engaged âI nee-d to freshen up and go to pla-y with the familyâ She said excited.
âFreshen up, yes, go pla-y with the family, nopeâ Michael said as he helped her up.
âMike!! Why??â She asked pouting, he laughed.
âBabe you nee-d restâ He said and she gro-an ed. He led her to a room that has been prepared for her.
âWow!!! Great placeâ She complemented.
âThanksâ He said, he opened the bathroom and she stared with total shock.
âJeez!!!â She said looking around the bathroom that was sparkling and beautifully made, Michael laughed at her every reaction âYou guys are freaking richâ She muttered.
âYou just freshen up, I will be here after an hourâ Michael said walking towards the door âAnd if you are bored, there is a TVâ He said pointing at one, the room looks like a mini house âAnd if you are bored with that, call me, I will keep you companyâ He said as he went to the drawers and dropped a new phone on her be-d, the phone has been set up alre-ady.
âYou got everything prepared alre-adyâ She said beaming.
âMake yourself comfortableâ Michael said, she hu-gged him, he smiled over her shoulders. They dis-engaged, Michael left the room while Becca continued to look around, after few minutes she went to take her bath, coming out she saw different female dress on the be-d, She smiled as she began to sort them out.

Veronica is sitted in her beautiful and well designed office which was located at the farther end of a gigantic boutiqueâs building, She had been feeling somehow funny for sometimes, but she kept it to herself and didnât tell Jimi because she feel it was nothing.

think, I have to see a doctorâ She said as she stood up immediately and went out, workers were greeting her, she returned their greetings with smiles, they all seems to love her, she entered her car and drove off to the hospital, After few minutes she came out with smiles all over her face, she has both the expression of surprise and amazement, She fished out her phone and called Jimi.
âHey, my loveâ Jimi said happily over the phone.
âAyanfemiâ Veronica said slowly pretending to be sick.
âBabe, are you alright??â He asked.
âAm at the hospitalâ
âWait what??!!!â He half yelled, Veronica held in her laughter âs-end the address now, I will be thereâ He said and hung up immediately, few minutes pa-ssed, Jimi came running to the hospital, he saw Veronica, he looked over her b©dy and make sure she is fine.
âAm fine, the doctor just wanted to tell you somethingâ She said, he haven a relief, nodded and they both walked to the doctorâs office. After plea-santries have been exchanged, they both sat down. The doctor cleared his throat and started :
âCongratulations Sir, you wife is six weeks pregnantâ The doctor said, Jimi was shocked.
âWait!!! What!!!! But I thought she was pa-ssed the age and we have even be planning to adopt a childâ Jimi said still in disbelief.
âYeah, I know but you see, we have seen cases like these most times and I really do get surprised myself but all the same, God works in divers means you know, your wife is pregnantâ The doctor said smiling. Jimi hu-gged his wife happily but his smile vanished.
âI hope it wonât effect or damage anything â He asked.
âNo,
it wonât, we will monitor the pregnancy and make sure everything goes on wellâ The doctor said and once again his smile returned âMake sure she doesnât stress herself and also make sure you become inti-mate regularlyâ The doctor said, Jimi looked at Veronica with a smiling and mischievous face, she smiled and look sideways.
âAm on it doc, thanks alotâ Jimi said, the men shook hands and the couple walked out of his office. He carried her suddenly in bridal style.
âPeople are looking, oh my goodness!! Some are taking pictures, videos, câmon put me downâ She said laughing as she struggles in vain to get down.
âStop moving, donât disturb my baby, I want every one to know again that you are mine babeâ He said into her ears, she laughed âYou heard what the doctor said right??â He asked as he placed her in the car, he entered too and began to drive.
âHmmmâŠ. Doctor said many things, which one exactly, I canât really rememberâ She said pretending to not un-derstand what he was saying.
âReally, the p@rt where he said I should alwaysâŠâŠ.â He was said dragging his words, Veronica laughed.
âFine, fineâŠ. I knowâ She cut in laughing. They both laughed and began talking about the baby.

Michael and George were in the the formerâs office eating and talking.
âI canât believe everyone ditched usâ George said, Michael chuckled.
âJemima called yesterday, she doing fine in California and she said study is OK tooâ Michael said, George nodded.
âFor these few months the kids too havenât been available, they have been really studying, while Mom is busy with her husband, the ladies too are not left out, ever since Gabe and Becca became friends, they donât act clingy again with us, remind me where they are again???â George said sulking, Michael laughed.
âYeah, but am happy they are all friends, They are at Ruthâs, I must say Gabe really have nice familyâ Michael said, as sometimes ago Gabe has introduced her family to Georgeâs.
âSame hereâŠ. But buddy donât you think is high time, weâŠ..â Goerge said whispering into Michaelâs ear, he nodded.
âI think so, we should carry the men along on our plan, so we can surprise themâ Michael said, referring to ra-phael, David and Jimi.
âYeah, I think so tooâ George said smiling. The two continued to talk.

âWhy are we here???â Ruth asked David who kept smiling. The kids, Veronica, Jimi, Stella, ra-phael, Roland, Nicholas, Becca and Gaberialle are all pres-ent in a very beautiful restaurant, they have been sitted for a while.

for George and Michaelâ Jimi answered.
âYou have been saying that since like foreverâ Ashley said looking around. Then both Michael and George stepped into the restaurant looking dashing.
âWow!!! Hot!!!!â Alexa commented, the rest laughed. Veronica hu-gged both of them as they walked to them, they both frown.
âMom!!! You have put on alot of weight!!!â Michael said frowning as he looked at his Mom who was obviously big and was putting on a very big and long gown.
âDonât tell me you now allow her dress like this, is she a nun???â George said looking at Jimi who laughed.
âShut up stupids, am pregnantâ Veronica said happily.
âWhat!!!!â George and Michael screamed in shock, looking at the others, they had smiles on their faces.
âYeah!!! Itâs a wonderful miracleâ She said smiling, they hu-gged her again.
âAm so happy for you Momâ Michael said smiling and wi-nking at Jimi.
âAwwwnnn, so sweetâ George said smiling, the the two hu-gged their lovers and immediately they dis-engaged, Micheal went on one kneel.
âAwwnn!!!!! I think I know whatâs going on!!â Alexa sequeled, holding hands with Ashley. Then a slow music began to pla-y, they look around but this time the restaurant has totally change, it was decorated with flowers, balloons etc.
âRebecca, I love you, everything about you and I want to spend the rest of me with youâŠ.. Will you??â Michael said as both David and ra-phael held up a big placard, it re-ads âBe my queenâ. The kids squealed including Adrian, Ruth smiled happily, Veronica placed her hands on her cheeks, smiling wi-dely.
âYes!!!! I will!!!â Becca said happily hu-gging Michael, Adrian handed a flower to Michael, he gave his to Becca, after sliding the ring in her fin-ger. He had re-moved the first ring he gave her and placed it in her middle fin-ger on the right hand.
âYou guys planned this right???â Ashley asked Adrian who was now standing beside her.
âYepâ He answered. George went on his kneel too before Gabe, who had tears in her eyes.
âWe have been throu-gh alot but in all I am very happy I still got you⊠plea-se be my wifeâ He said smiling.
âYes, I willâ Gabe said happily, he slid the ring into her fin-ger, they all clapped, Stella took videos and pictures with a big smile on her face. They all celebr@ted and ate happily.

Months LaterâŠâŠ
âre-ady????â Ruth asked both Becca and Gabe who were beautifully dressed in beautiful wedding gowns, Beccaâs gown is white while that of Gabe is pink. Three people were also in the room, they were throu-gh with dressing the brides up, they took their leave. They all agreed to have the wedding in Nigeria together, after having a traditional engagement within the family and friends.
âI am nervousâ Becca said smiling.
âSame hereâ Gabe said.
âYou should be but am glad you both are happy, letâs go and donât keep millions of people waiting, especially your groomsâ Ruth said, the brides smiled. They all stepped out from Gabeâs house.
âWow!!!â Jemima, Stella, Ashley and Alexa exclaimed.
âYou look goodâ Stella commented.
âThanksâ The brides said smiling, they all heard sobs, they turned to see both Ashley and Alexa sobbing.
âAwwnn, donât ruin your beautiful faces dear, today is a day of joyâ Ruth said, she wiped their tears away.
âJust happy to have a mother figure in our livesâ Alexa said smiling. They all entered to the cars which drove off to the hall, that were filled with so many people. The program started, the grooms were smiling throu-ghout, they said their vows happily. Soon the program ended, the new couples drove to their house, after them everyone went home happy and glad for the new couple. On the way home, Veronica fell into labour, Jimi had to hold her and soothe her while the driver drove straight to the hospital.
