Episode 61
Aubrey’s POV
I managed to describe Samantha’s house to Min Seok as he drove me home.
“Wow! Your house is really big. Why are you pretending to be a poor girl then?” he asked when we got there
“This is actually where my mom work so we live here” I said and bit my li-ps
I really don’t like the way I’m lying to them but I don’t think I have a choice. I don’t even know who to trust now.
“Ohh…. That’s nice. Let’s go in” he offered and started walking ahead of me but I stopped him
“I will take it from here. Thanks for bringing me home, I really appreciate it.”
“Alright. Are you sure you’ll be fine?”
“Yes, thank you”
“You’re welcome. Take care of yourself” he said and got into his car before driving away
I knocked on the gate but I didn’t get any response so I decided to call Sam instead.
“Come and open the gate, I’m outside” I said and ended the call
Within minute, I heard the gate opening. Sam can be so dramatic!
I turned back and started walking inside but then I stopped on my track when I saw Sam in just her undies.
“Like seriously? Do you have to make a big deal out of everything?”
“Just shut up and come in” she snapped
We both went to her room after she locked the gate.
“What happened Aubrey? I thought you planned to stay with Liam till tomorrow” she asked sitting beside me
“We’ll talk about it tomorrow, I want to sleep now” I said standing up but she held me back
“I don’t want to hear it tomorrow, I want to hear it now” she said making me sigh
“Fine then”
I sat back and took in de-eper breaths before narrating everything to her without leaving a single detail.
“What?!!! Liam did what?”
“Let’s forget about that now, I want to sleep”
“No! I thought I warned you not to have se-x with him yet?”
“I know, I just got carried away and all. Besides, it didn’t happen so you don’t have to make a big deal out of it”
“Aubrey!!”
“Fine! I’m sorry okay? It won’t happen again”
“It had better not happen. How did Khloe find out about the bet?”
“Well… I don’t know. Maybe she overhead Liam’s discussion with his friends, who knows?”
“You need to ask her how she found out about it so we can know the next step to take. For now, you should stay away from Liam and his friends”
“I know that already, you don’t need to tell me” I said with an eyeroll
“Who brou-ght you home?”
“It was Min Seok”
“Hmm! The transfer student right?”
“Yeah”
“Be careful around him too! You can’t trust anyone”
“I think I can trust him. Did I forget to tell you he’s Jae In?”
“Jae In? Wait! Do you mean the K-Pop star Jae In?”
“Yes! You know he’s also in disguise like I am so I decided to do a background check on him”
“So you’ve seen his face before?”
“I see his face in school everyday”
“Wow! You’re really lucky”
“But I’m not the only one that gets to see his face everyday. All the students see his face”
“I know! But still, they don’t know he’s Jae In”
“Yeah, whatever! I’m going to bed now. Goodnight”
Khloe’s POV
I’m thinking of going to Liam’s place to apologise for what I did. I know he might never forgive me but I’m willing to try.
I got into my car and asked my driver to drive me to Liam’s mansion. After minutes of driving, we finally arrived there and I got down from the car walking into his mansion nervously.
“Good day ma’am, how can I help you?” a maid greeted when I got to the sitting room
“I.. I’m here to see Liam”
“Ohh…. He’s still asleep. Please wait for him here”
“Can I wait for him in his room?”
“Sure! Come with me” she said and led the way
I got to Liam’s room and truly, he was still sleeping so I decided to sit on a chair there until he wakes up.
After about an hour, he finally woke up. It took time before he adjusted to the light from the sun.
“Good morning Liam” I greeted nervously
I’m really scared right now, I feel like running back home.
He looked around for who was greeting him and when his eyes met mine, he sat up immediately.
“You? What are you doing in my house? Leave now before I do something we will both regret” he threatened but I shook my head and went down on my knees
“I’m really sorry Liam, it wasn’t intentional. I promise to make Aubrey come back to you. Just please forgive me” I pleaded now in tears
“I’m only going to count five Khloe so if you’re not out then, I will order the guards to throw you out! 1… 2…”
“I did it out of love. I know I was foolish but I’m sorry. You were blinded by your love for Aubrey that you didn’t see how much I’ve always loved you” I explained and that seemed to catch his attention
“You’re in love with me?”
“I’ve always loved you even before you took my Vir-ginity. But then I found out recently that you and your friends placed a bet on me and that was why you slept with me.
I was really hurt and broken. The only guy I’ve ever loved just toyed with my feelings. I know you’re a playboy and it will be ha-rd for you to fall in love but I never imagined you placing a bet on me.
How did you expect me to feel?”
“K…Khloe, I had no idea you were in love with me. Why didn’t you tell me earlier?”
“What difference would it make? Aubrey is the only reason why you’ve changed so if I had told you back then, it won’t make a difference”
“I’m really sorry Khloe. What can I do to make it up to you?”
“Make me your girlfriend and love me back, that’s the only thing I’ve ever wanted”
“I’m sorry Khloe but I can’t do that”
“Why? Because of Aubrey?”
“You know how much I love her. It’s her or no one else”
“You don’t even know if she’s ever going to forgive you”
“She will forgive me. Because of the love we share, she will definitely forgive me” he said trying to rea-ssure himself
“What about me?”
“A good guy will come for you. Forget about me, please”
“Okay! You’ve forgiven me right?”
“Yes, I’ve forgiven you and I’m really sorry”
“It’s okay. I will leave now”
I took one last glance at him and left his mansion in tears.

Episode 62
Aubrey’s POV
“Sleeping beauty!” Sam teased immediately I woke up
“When are you ever serious Sam?” I asked sitting up
“That’s not the way to say good morning” she said with an eyeroll
“You started it first. Anyway, good morning! I wouldn’t want your troubles this morning”
“So you’re saying I’m troublesome?”
“No, of course not!” I said raising my hand in surrender
“Better. Just take your bath, your uniform is here already”
“Awwn…. What will I do without you?”
“Absolutely nothing” she said proudly
“Oh stop fooling yourself. We both know I’m better off without you”
“Really? Leave my house then” she said nonchalantly
“Fine! You win! I know you’re looking for a way to stop me from going to school early”
After I finished wearing my clothes, I ate at the dining with Sam.
“Uhmm… Aubrey, what are you going to do about Liam? Will you forgive him?” Sam asked but I just kept quiet
“I will forgive him but we can never be together again” I answered and left the house
All throu-ghthe drive to school, I kept thinking about how to face everyone except Min Seok since he was the last person with me.
I got to school a bit later than usual so I just headed to the hall for devotion. After devotion, I headed to cla-ss and began the day’s lecture.
Khloe couldn’t look me in the eyes all throu-ghthe period we had cla-sses together while I just acted like I didn’t care.
When it was lunch time, I kept my books and went to the cafeteria. After getting my food, I sat at a different table from the one I sit with Khloe and Natalie.
“Hey Aubrey, why are you sitting alone?” Natalie asked sitting beside me
“Nothing” I muttered and continue eating
“I heard about what happened between you, Khloe and Liam”
“I don’t want to talk about it” I said before she could say another word
“Can I sit?” I heard Khloe ask
“No! I want to be alone, including you Natalie. Please”
“Okay” Natalie said and left
Khloe stared at me for a while before deciding to leave too.
“Aubrey, can I sit?” I heard the voice I’ve come to hate most
“Sit where?” I asked looking up at Liam
“S… Sit here” he stuttered
“Just leave now before I loose it”
“Aubrey we…”
“Leave!!” I screamed drawing the students attention to us
“I… I’m leaving” he said and left
“Calm down Aubrey, it’ll be fine” Min Seok said patting my back
He then took me to a quiet place and I broke down immediately
“Stop crying Aubrey, it’s not good for your health”
“You don’t know how I feel Min Seok. I trusted Liam and he betrayed me”
“You still have to hear him out. Listen to whatever he has to say okay? He’s your boyfriend so… ”
“He’s not my boyfriend!” I cut him off immediately “Dating him is my only regret in this world so don’t you dare make the mistake of calling him my boyfriend ever again” I warned sternly
“Take it easy. You love Liam, I know you still do. Don’t make a mistake because of what he did. Hear him out and forgive him”
“Stop it Min Seok. Don’t even worry, I’m leaving”
“Aubrey! Fine, I won’t talk about Liam again”
“Okay then”
I sat down and just stared into space.
“Will you like to go out with me after school? I know of a place that will help brighten your mood”
“Really?”
“Yeah. I’m serious”
“Okay, I will go with you”
We held hands and walked to cla-ss. On the way, we met Liam.
“Aubrey, just few days of having a misun-derstanding and you’re already with him? We haven’t broken up, you’re still my girlfriend”
“Really? Let me make it clear then. It’s over between us from this moment! I don’t want to see you ever again” I said angrily and left with Min Seok
Min Ju’s POV
I’m enjoying school these days, it’s just so filled with fun!
Liam placed a bet on Aubrey and that’s why he was dating her but she felt on top of the world dating the hottest guy in school.
I haven’t heard anything about Khloe for a while and I only see her in school occasionally.
I want to teach her a lesson before I leave this school and I will make sure I accomplish that one goal.
I was walking to cla-ss when I suddenly saw Aubrey and Min Seok holding hands. They were also heading to cla-ss. Time for a little show!
“Min Seok” I called and ran to hug him
“I’ve really missed you! You know you’re not treating me fairly right? You don’t even ask of me anymore, you’re always with Aubrey. Do you hate me?” I asked close to tears
“Of course not! I don’t hate you, I’ve just been really busy lately”
“Alright then. Can we go out after school today?”
“No! Maybe tomorrow, I have some things to do today”
“Okay. Hi Aubrey” I waved at her with a smile
“Hi” she answered lowly
“I heard what happened to you, hope you’re fine?”
“I’m fine, thank you. I will be leaving now Min Seok”
“No, let’s go to cla-ss together”
“Yeah! Let three of us go together” I said with a smile
Khloe’s POV
I really don’t know what to do to make Aubrey forgive me. I’ve thought ha-rd but nothing is coming forth.
I know I don’t deserve her forgiveness, but I still want her to forgive me.
I’ve accepted the fact that I’ve lost Liam for good so I won’t fight it anymore but there’s something confusing.
If Liam had really cancelled the bet when he told me he was in love with Liam, he won’t take things the way he’s taking it and when I was telling Aubrey, he didn’t even say anything.
I shouldn’t be thinking about this things. The bet shouldn’t concern me anymore, I only want Aubrey to forgive me.
Yes! I will search for her birth date and give her something special and maybe throw a surprise party for her?
Yeah, that’s what I will do! I just have to get the date. I quickly went to the principal’s office for that.
“Good day sir!”
“Good day Miss Zoey, how can I help you?”
“I want to check Aubrey’s birth date, please sir just this one favour”
“Alright. But don’t come to me after this”
“Yes sir”
I checked the date and I was beyond shocked when I discovered her birthday was just in three days time. Her birthday will be coming up on Thursday!
Gosh! What kind of a friend am I? I really don’t deserve her forgiveness.
I left the principal office and just went home. I will try to make this birthday an unforgettable one for her.
