Logan didn’t get to finish when a punch landed on his face, that punch cut hisl-ips straight, he ru-bbe-d hisl-ips in anger and looked up to Alex to return his but he received another one instead that sĀ£nt his nose pleading, then another and another
“Alex” Nina yelled, if the principal gets to see this then, Alex might get into trouble so that’s what she cares about now
“Alex” she went to gr-ab him from Logan with f0rƧĀ£ before he kills him
“Don’t, don’t fight anymore I don’t want you to get into trouble” she said with teary eyes
Thou Alex is still angry but the look on her face calmed him down instantly, he cu-mpped her cheeks and wiped her bloody nose

“Whether you say yes or no, I’m still taking you to the clinic, come on” he bent over and scooped her in his arms

Alex kept watching as the nurse is treating Nina’s wound
“Will I..will I have to take niddles again?” Nina gulped and asked
The nurse chuckled and patted her head, “Don’t worry if that happens then your bĀ©yfriĀ£ndis here, you can bite his arm”
“He’s not my bĀ©yfriĀ£nd” Nina muttered and looked elsewhere
“Whatever, she’ll be fine right?” Alex asked, coming closer
“Hmm, I’ve treated it and apply antibiotics, expect her nose to be just fine by tommorow” the nurse smiled and left
“Hey” Alex patted her head while she looked up at him with a cute pout
“What happened?” He asked with a little chuckle
“Won’t I get to go to clas-s?” She asked
“The nurse said you must rest in be-d for a few minutes so that’s what you’ll do, don’t worry I’ll come get you once it’s lunch break” he said softly

“See you at lunch break” he smiled and looked at her again, it’s as if he shouldn’t leave, it’s as if he should just stay with her, it’s as if he wants her to be his girlfriend like right now, everyday his feelings keeps growing but he don’t know how to start
He breathed heavily before patting her head and leaving, Nina looked at him with a wi-de smile, she doesn’t want him to leave instead she wants him to stay with her, even though he’ll do nothing she just wanna feel his presĀ£nt, feel his hvg, that forehead k!sshe gave her is like one in a million, it’s as if he’s trying to tell her that’s he just wanna protect her and keep her to himself

A knock sounded at Charles door, jo-lting him from his work
“Who?” He asked

Charles looked at the file and sighed, finally it’s time to see the real reason for her being in prison but for some reason he’s nervous to check it
Slowly brou-ght his hands to open the envelope and what welcome him first was a letter that is attached to it, he took the letter and looked at it

Charles paused and blinked, him??, How if she has worked for him before then why don’t he remember??, He shook his head and resumed re-ading again
š Things started getting well, the pay was hvge enough to get my son out of the hospital and to pay for my just treatment, I only wanted to work without distractions but it changed when Charles McDonald’s tried getting close to me, I told him I was married but he still insisted that he loves me, he keeps professing his love for me, he even went as far as saying he’s willing to marry me and make me his second wife
He treats me differently from other maids, because of this almost all the workers in the house were envious of me then his wife got to know about this, she warned me servally, she said I should stay away from him or else I’ll regret, she maltreats me in secret, she was like my devil cause I do suffer the most anytime I’m with her, her hatred for me increa-sed when she got to find out that her husband wants to make me his second wife and when she got to find out that her first daughter Bella gets to like me more than her and when she got to find out that I know she was cheating on her husband with another man
She told me she’s going to get back at me, I should just wait and watch, I was clueless in what she’s planning at that point the only thing that matters to me was getting my money so I can get my son home and pay for my husband treatment. Finally it worked I got paid and I went to discharge my son, I didn’t even stay with him for up to ten minutes when I heard about my husband’s death
I rushed to the hospital and truly he was dead but the nurses and staffs didn’t give me a chance to look at him before they started hitting me and calling me names, they accused me of killing him with a knife, they called the Corps to take me, at that point I only had Becky as a witness cause we were at home together but instead she turned her back on me like the rest, she accused me of killing my own husband cause I wanna be with a rich lawyer, she said she warned me not to do it, she lied against me then I was more surprised when I saw the CCTV footage, I saw my face, I saw how I stabbe-d my own husband to death, it was obviously a disguse but no one believed me, they took my sons from me and that’s how I ended up here up till now š
Tears c@mĀ£ out of Charles eyes, so his wife was behind this then why can’t he remember any of this, how could his wife do this, a woman he had trust and loved for over 20 years how can she do this, no he can’t believe until he finds out himself!!
He kept the paper in his desk, locked it automatically and wore his suit jacket, he’s planning on going to the doctor to check if he has amnesia.

Lunch Break**
“Get up or should I carry you?’ Alex asked
“It’s my nose that got hurt remember, geez” Nina blu-shed and accepted his hands as he helped her up from the hospital be-d
“So should we eat lunch first or we should go straight to the school theater house?” Nina asked
“I’ll say we should eat first, I’ll get you takeaways, come” he held her hand and took her to the cafeteria
Students kept looking at them but they didn’t mind, he got to the counter and face Nina
“Pick whatever you want and it’ll be packed for you straight away”
“I’ll take the fried rice with some fried fish” she cl@pped happily
“Alright package it for her and also a lemon drink” he said to the waitress
“How do you know I love lemon drink?’ Nina whispered and he win-ked
The waitress kept looking at them stylishly as she made their orders
“So what about you Alex what will you have?” Nina asked
“The same with you, so get me extra fried rice and fried fish, and a lemon jui-ce” he ordered
“Hmm” the waitress nodded and did as she was told
“Here that’ll be 832.65” she said
“Alright, Nina can you check my wallet and pay up” Alex said, collecting the foods
Nina di-pped her hands on his pocket and brou-ght out his small wallet, she opened it and pay up
“Thanks” the waitress smiled
“Hmm, bye bye” Nina waved and took Alex hand again as they both left together

The whole students that were picked for acting have alre-ady settled down on the audience sit, some were eating, some wee drinking some were chatting
Alex and Nina just got there and sat at the empty space here Fred and Benedict who’s busy eating some fried chicken

“Hi Nina” Benedict waved and cleaned the sauce from herl-ips

Nina raised her food up eyed her

Ming is talking when Mr Lu entered with two teachers

The distribution stared till it got to Nina’s role, Nina covered her food and took the script
