who’s the father episode 12 & 13

WHO’S THE FATHER
Chapter 12

Few months later, I never thought I would be happy again until I gave birth to Ginger (Gigi)

The moment I set my eyes on her, I felt tou-ched happy again. Gigi is the reason for my happiness. I don’t joke about her, she’s my everything.

I still don’t know her father and I haven’t told her about the ra-pe situation. She’s not ready for it.

FEW MINUTES LATER

I parked my car in the public garage, China, Gigi and I came out of the car and we went inside.

China fell on the couch feeling tired, while Gigi and I went inside my bedroom, I changed into my blue floral light jumpsuit.

I helped Gigi wore pink fluffy pyjamas. She knows how to dress up but sometimes I feel like wearing her something.

“Mommy.”

“What is it, baby?” I asked as I held her hand and walked out of the bedroom to the living room.

I guess Lazy China is inside her bedroom.

Gigi and I sat on the couch and turned on the small plasma TV. Watching The Croods cartoon.

“Did Mrs Randall say anything mean to you when I was in the car?” She asked.

I rolled my eyes with a smile “No she didn’t, okay? Don’t mind her, just finish school and become successful and ignore those people like Mrs Randall, Okay?”

Gigi nodded “Okay, mommy.”

“And don’t be alone no matter what. Always have a true friend by your side and be careful of those who pretend.” I said, feeling bitter inside.

“Yes, mommy.”

“Good girl.” I hu-gged Gigi ti-ghtly and kssed her forehead. “I love you.”

“I love you too mommy.” she said.

I stood up and went to the kitchen and was making small meal. Vegetable salad and bacon.

I served them in two blue plastic plates and went back to the living room and gave Gigi a plate.

“Thank you mommy.”

We were eating dinner and watching cartoon together.

I heard the door knocked.

I frowned feeling weird because I’ve never expect any visitor since the past 5 years except food deliveries.

“Gigi, wait here okay?” I said as I stood up and went to the door.

I wait for them to knock again and they did.

“Who is it?” I asked.

“Child service.” She answered.

I frowned “Child service?” I opened the door and saw a blonde woman in black suit. “Hi?”

“Hi, I’m Mary, I’m a CPS worker, a middle aged red hair woman called us that there’s been a child abuse.” She explained.

“What?” I exclaimed.

“Yeah, she said a young mother has been living her daughter alone and going to parties.” She added.

I clenched my fist angrily “Mrs Randall.”

“Yeah, so can I check your house for a week to know what’s going on?” Mary asked.

I scoffed “Look, woman, I don’t know who you are and what gives you the right to enter my house?”

“I have every right and don’t worry. You’re safe as long as you don’t leave your daughter like you used to.” she said rudely.

“That’s a lie Mary, that woman just think that I can’t take care of my child because I’m young.” I protested.

“How old are you?”

“21.” I replied.

Mary sighed “Then I have to check this place out for a week. If it turns out what the woman is saying wrong then fine.

I’ll leave you. But if she’s right, I’ll have to take your child for foster care.”

I rolled my eyes “Fine, do whatever you want but stay away from me and my daughter.” I said rudely as I went inside with Mary.

“Nika, what’s going on?” China yawned as she came out ‘‘Who’s that?” she asked.

“My name is Mary Brook, I’m here to inspect the house.” she asked.

“Why?”

“Mrs Randall.” I replied.

“Again? Someone nee-ds to teach that teacher a lesson.” China said feeling annoyed.

I shrugged “Don’t worry, as long as my house is clean. The woman can leave.”

I went back to the couch and was watching movie with my daughter and the woman was sitting at the dining room inspecting us. China went back to her room and sleep.

Gigi and I were enjoying the movie till she fell asleep. I turned off the TV, carried her to her bedroom.

I lay her on her small pink mattress and covered her with blanket. I turned as I saw Mary starring at us.

I didn’t trust that woman so I lie on the floor beside my daughter’s bed.

This is exactly what I go throu-ghbecause I’m a young mother.

Fine, I’m a teenage mom but does that make me a terrible person?

CHAPTER 13

FIVE DAYS LATER

MONICA’S POV

I walked into the guest room, during the dark, feeling scared because I heard some weird steps and laughing.

The four of them with gas mask approached me and grabbed my arms. People surrounded us and was laughing and mocking me.

“Leave me alone!!! Leave me alone!!!” I cried.

They pvshed me and to re my gown and the guy removed his trouser.

“Argh!!!!!!!” I screamed louder and louder then I woke and jumped in panic as I noticed the sun rise.

Phew! It’s just another nightmare. I kept having the same painful dream since the day I was rapped. I don’t know why.

I’m just trying to forget about it. But I can’t. Gigi always remind me of the person and the rappe but I don’t want to let her go.

I noticed my little angel still sleeping. I checked the time and saw that it’s 7:20

I smiled lightly as I beside her and woke her gently “Gigi. Come on, time to dress up for school.”

“I don’t wanna go to school.” She whined.

I nodded “I guess the tickle monster will attack you.” I grabbed her playfully.

“Argh!” Gigi screamed and laughed as I was tickling her.

“Mommy stop it.” Gigi laughed.

I stopped and hu-gged her ti-ghtly “Now let’s get ready. Okay?”

“No!” Gigi pouted.

“I’ll buy a cheeseburger.” I said.

“Then I’ll go get prepared.” She said as she pulled away and went to my bedroom.

My smile fade away as I noticed Mrs Mary is starring at us. I rolled my eyes feeling annoyed.

That woman has been watching us since the past five days, I don’t know what she wants to see.

I didn’t even see Mrs Randall for the past few days, I would have confront the stvpid woman.

I stood up and fake smiled “Good morning.”

Mary smiled “Morning, I can see the way you are watching your…”

I walked away from her rudely as I went inside my bathroom to take a bath for Gigi.

MARY’S POV

I sighed as I went back to the living room and sat on the couch.

That Monica girl might be rude and disrespectful but I can see she’s a good mother.

I don’t know why Mrs Randall hired me to watch her.

I took my black bag and walked out of the house.

CHINA’S POV

I yawned walking out of my bedroom, still feeling sleepy and dizzy “What time is it?”

I sniffed “Mrs Mary?” I called “Hmm, she’s gone.” I shrugged as I went to the kitchen.

I open the fridge and brou-ght out a plastic curved plate of tuna salad and kept on the table and started eating it.

I’m pretty lazy and funny. I’m China James. I’m 22 years old and I’m an orphan. My parents died when I was 15 years old.

My aunt was taking are of me or maltreating me. Using me as her slave and her son and husband trying to sleep with me.

Because of that I ran away from home and was living (hiding from her aunt) on the the streets for one year till Mrs Greg, my boss hired me and I earned enough have an apartment and to take care of myself.

I didn’t really have time for high school or college so that kinda hurts. When I saw pregnant Monica living on the street.

I felt pretty bad for her so I decided to help her and she’s now helping me.

Because of her and Gigi, I felt that I have a family, sister and niece.

My boss added to my salary and I have great company.

Monica told me her whole story, I felt really tou-ched. I hope she finds a happy life and be successful again. I’ll help her.

MONICA’S POV

I took my bath and Gigi’s bath, wore her a white shirt and black tie, a black pleated skirt, her white cute socks and black flat shoes with bows, with her cute little pink Barbie backpack.

I also fixed her curly hair in br@id pigtails.

I wore my blue and white Big Burger’s t-shirt and my black ripped jeans and white sandals. I fixed my hair in ponytail.

“You ready, baby?” I asked my daughter.

“No.” She shook her head with a pout.

I wore my black long strap purse and smiled “That’s the spirit baby.” I held her hand and walked out of my bedroom.

I met China still in her pyjamas, eating her breakfast already.

I sighed “Aren’t you gonna get ready for work?”

She shrugged “Don’t worry, I’ll meet you there.”

“Good morning, Aunt China.” Gigi greeted.

“Awww, at least someone greet me this morning.” China said iconically.

I rolled my eyes “Morning, where’s Mary?”

“I think she left.” China replied.

“Okay, seriously, you nee-d get ready for work.” I said.

China Gr0-ned “Fine, I’ll meet you there.” She said as she started lic-king the empty plate.

I cringed “Ew.” I sighed “Well, see you at work. Gigi’s late for school.”

“Alright. Bye Gigi.”

“Bye Aunt China.” Gigi waved her hand as we left the apartment.
