Decision
Damon POV continues
“ why”. my dad asked
“ because I will never love her”. I yelled
“ with time love will come son”. Tonia father said
“ really”. I scoffed
“ yes”. He said
“Do you want your daughter to remain lonely for the rest of her life?”. I asked him
“ what!!!”. he exclaimed
“I have nothing to offer your daughter, I have no love, no feelings and I can never ever love Tonia”.I declared
“Damon”.my father called
“ what dad, I am just telling him the truth”. I huffed
I looked at Tonia father and asked him
“ do you still want me to marry your daughter”
“ if you don’t want it there is nothing I can do”. he replied
“ Good, I don’t want it”. I said and I climbe-d up to the stairs

I pushed the door to my room opened and was surprised to see Miss Petra
“ Petra”. I called , what are you doing here?”. I asked
“ I heard everything you said down there Damon, you should be grateful to your dad”. She said
“ grateful, really. You must be kidding me
“ when will you get out from your shell?”. She asked
“ I am not in any shell”.I gr-unted
“really, you………….she kept quiet when my dad stormed into my room
“Can you plea-se excuse me I want to talk to my son?” . He said
Miss Petra bowed and left the room
“ Damon, what the hell happened down there?”. he asked
“ nothing dad”. I replied Cooly
“ Tonia is a nice girl, she will make a good wife”. He said
“ really”. I scoffed
He nodded
“ then you can marry her”. I replied
“ Damon, you should learn how to talk to me”. he warned
“Then you should plea-se step out of the room if you are looking for respect because you can never get one from me”. I told him
“ I just want the best for you”.he said calmly
“ then leave me to make my decision myself “ . I told him
He looked at me and sighed
“ Damon”. he called, why do you hate me?”: he asked
“ I don’t hate you father, I just don’t want to be like you”. I replied him
“ I just don’t want any lady to end up like mum”. I continued, she died because she was lonely dad
He looked at me and tried to say something but I cut him short
“ she yearned for you, she always wanted to be by your side but instead you pushed her away. I was with her when she bec@m£ sick and all she wanted was for you to hold her but you never cared for once”. I yelled
“ why?”. I asked , why
He remained quiet
“ it wasn’t really your fault because you never loved her
“ Damon” he called , I am really sorry I never knew you were hurting
“Do you see the reason I can’t marry Tonia”. I asked him, I can’t marry her because I don’t want her to end up like mother so plea-se respect my decision
He nodded and soon left the room
I sat on my be-d still brooding, my mum was my everything but she died from a pathetic sickness but what really killed she was loneliness
I was emotionally down when she died but miss Petra stood by me and filled up the missing gap and I soon recovered, that was when i met Bella who I loved but she died also

Nora PoV
I kept on thinking about Damon, he is not as cold as they say
“ I la-id on the be-d and kept on smiling”
“ Nora”. a voice called me out of my thoughts, I smiled when I saw it was Andrew
“ hi buddy”. I greeted
“ what were you thinking of that made you smile?”. he asked
“ I did not smile”. I said giving him a pla-yful glare
“ Nora you lie too much”.he told me
“ what!!”. I exclaimed and pursued him as he ran round the house. The door suddenly opened and my mom walked in
“ I can see you two are in a good mood”.she said smiling
“ how is Zara?”. I asked
“ she is really recovering fas-ter,The Doctor said she might be discharged before Sunday”. My mum jumped excitedly
I looked at my mom, she was so happy. How can I tell her it was all a lie?, how can I tell her that her daughter is a liar……
Tonia PoV
“ what father, what do you mean he rejected me? I asked my dad
“ sweetheart, you nee-d to forget about that boy”. he said
I looked at him and scoffed. I can’t really believe Damon rejected me.
“ am I not beautiful enough
I begged my dad to talk Damon father into an arranged marriage but he rejected it

Episode 9
Nora POV
I woke up the next morning feeling elated. I went into the bathroom to freshen up but there was no water
I hummed as I walk to the neighbour compound to fetch two buckets of water
“ Good morning Mrs Peterson”. I greeted excitedly
“Morning Nora, how was your night?”. She asked
“ Fine ma”.
I kept on humming and tapping my feet to its rhythm as I fetched the water . I glanced at Mrs Peterson and she was staring at me curiously
“ Thank you ma”. I greeted her as I carried the buckets full of water out of her compound
“She must be wondering why I am so happy today”

I dropped one of the bucket in the kitchen and used the second one in bathing
I returned to the room and walked over to the wardrobe I share with Zara to select a nice clothes
I went throu-gh it looking for a good cloth, I really wanted to impress Damon
“Why am I thinking of him again”

I stared at my reflection in the mirror , is this really me?
I was putting on a ti-ght Sk-irt which brou-ght out all my curves and a crop t©p..
I knew this wasn’t my usual way of dressing but I wanted to feel among…
I plaited my hair into a loosed bun and applied lot of makeup which made me look like a barbie doll
I pu-ll-ed out a black boot from un-der the wardrobe,dusted it and put it on
I am good to go……………

I stepped out of the house and met Anthony with some of his friends, they were obviously going to work
Anthony opened his mouth in surprise when he saw me
“Nora, why are you dressed like this?”. He asked
“ do I look good?”. I asked flashing him a smile
“You look beautiful but in a weird way”. He replied
“ how?”. I asked him with a raised eyebrow
“Nora, this is not your way of dressing. Don’t be like those rich spoilt kids”. He said
“ I like the way I am”. I said
“ really”. he asked
“ bye Anthony, I will see you when I am back “. I said as I walked away
“ will Damon be attra-cted to me if I dress like this ?”.i thought
I got to the school and I noticed most of the boys were staring at me
“She look so h0t “ she got a killer shape, she those as-s”. I heard some say
I ignored all of them and walked into the clas-s
“ oh my gawd”. Noami exclaimed as soon she saw me, you look like a model”. She remarked
“ Thanks”. I replied blu-shing
I sat down on a seat next to hers
“ Noami”. I called her
“ yes”. She replied looking at me
“What does Damon major in”. I asked her
“ I don’t know”. She replied shrugging her shoulders, why do you ask?”. She asked me
“ nothing, just wondering if he goes to school here”. I lied
“ of course he does, he is in year 3 and attends a special clas-s with his two friends”. She replied
“ special clas-s?”. I asked encouraging her to continue
“ yes”, he is the owner of this school, so he nee-ds special treatment”. She replied grinning
“ oh”. I nodded, where is this clas-s?”. I asked
“The third floor”. She replied, but why are you asking? she asked
“ nothing, was just curious”. I replied
“ look over there”. Noami nudged me
I look at the entrance and saw Tonia walking into the clas-s. She glared at me when our gaze met and I immediately looked away…
She walked over to a chair at the corner of the clas-s and sat down, she had this angry look on her face
“ what is wrong with her?”. I asked Noami
“I don’t know but I think something is eating her up”. Noami replied and we both laughed…
After the Lecturer left the clas-s, I decided to go look for Damon and thank him for the drive yesterday
“ I will use it as an excuse to see his cute face”
“Noami”. I called , I nee-d to use the bathroom “. I lied
“ okay”, don’t be long “. she replied without looking up at me
I smiled at her , she was getting used to studying..
“ how do I get to the third fall”. I muttered , There was an elevator at a corner of the building but I was scared to get on it since I have never ride on one before so I decided to make use of the stairs
I climbe-d up the stairs and met only a few students on the way
I got to the third floor and g@sped in surprise, the clas-ses were more beautiful
“ how can I get to Damon clas-s”. I asked a lady who was coming out from a clas-s in front of me
She eyed me and scoffed
“ you must be either Mikel or Donald bit-ch”
“ what!!!”. I exclaimed
“ you don’t nee-d to act all work up , take a walk down, the last clas-s by your right”. She instructed
“ Thanks”. I said to her
“ whatever”. She said with an eye roll and left
“ are all rich kids rude”. I thought
I walk down as instructed till I got to the last clas-s
“ This must be it”. I said when I re-ad the inscription on the door
“ out of bounds to all students”
I pushed the door opened and peeked inside
“ who are you?”. I heard a voice asked , come in properly if you have something to say
I took a de-ep breathe before entering the clas-s and I saw the surprised look on Damon friends face
I looked around the clas-s and saw Damon with his eyes close lying on a be-d
“ There is a be-d in a clas-s, amazing.
“Wow look who we have here”. One of his friends said
“ why are you here?”. the second one asked
“ I am here to see Damon, I mean Sir Damon “. I replied
They looked at me and scoffed
“ what business do you have with him?”. The second friend asked
“ I just wanted…………….
“ Let her be Mikel”. Damon said sitting up on the be-d
“ so he had been awake”. I thought
“ come closer”. he said
I nodded as i moved closer to him , I felt his eyes roamed all over me
“ why are you here?”: he asked
“ I just wanted to thank you for the drive yesterday”. I replied with my head down
There was no response from him
“ sir”. I called again
There was still no response . I looked up to know the reason he was silent when I met his gaze
“ was he staring at me the whole time “
“ sir”. I called but he kept on staring, this time directly at me face
“ i must sound like a fool”.
I turned to take my leave when he called
“ Nora”
I turned back looking at him in surprise
“You are more beautiful without the makeup on”
“ really”. I asked blu-shing
He nodded.” And the outfit you putting on does not suit you, I prefer the real you”
“what did he just say, he prefer the real me”
Episode 10
Nora PoV continues
I climbe-d down the stairs smiling sheepishly
“ Damon complimented me, he told me I am beautiful. Oh, what a miracle!”
I bu-mped into Noami at the entrance of the clas-s
“ Sorry”. I said laughing
“ where have you been?”. She asked
“I went to the bath………….”
“ Liar”. She said cutting my short, I have been to all the bathrooms searching for you
“ oh”. I replied not knowing what else to say
“ where have you been Nora?”. She asked
“ fine, I went to Damon clas-s”. I told her
“ Damon, are you one of his friends bit-ch?”. She asked
“ what!!, I exclaimed in shock, I never expected her to say such
“ why the hell will you go over to Damon’s clas-s if not to see his friends?”. She asked
“ I went to see Damon, not his friends”. I replied
“ why”. She asked
“ he helped me yesterday so I went to thank him”. I replied
“ help you with what?”. She asked
I looked at her wondering why she was so eager to know
“ he drove me home yesterday”. I told her
“Damon what!!!!”. She exclaimed ,are you sure it is him?” . She asked
“Noami you are funny”. I replied laughing
“Is that why you are dressed like a who-re?”. She asked out of a sudden

“ don’t get any funny ideas, Damon cannot look at a poor thing like you not to talk of fv¢king or d@t!ngyou “. She said giving me an icily glare
“ Noami”. I called in surprise
“ yuck”. She said and left in anger

I looked at myself and suddenly bec@m£ ashamed of my dress, no one told me the truth except Anthony and Damon

I walked into the clas-s with my head bent in shame
I looked at Noami and she still have that angry look on her face

Damon POV
“You drove her home Damon, I can’t believe it”. Mikel huffed as soon as Nora left the clas-s
“ There is no big deal about it”. I replied
“No man, there is a big deal”. Mikel said
I looked at him and laughed
“ how?”. I asked
“ you have never glanced at any other girl after Bella died”. he replied
“ don’t bring Bella into this “. I yelled
“ I am sorry man”. He apologised
“ but really Damon, you nee-d to move on “.Donald adviced
I looked at him and scoffed
“ you are just too stubborn”. He remarked
“If you are not interested in that girl, can you plea-se hand her over”. Mikel said l!çk!ng hisl-ips

They both laughed

“ when you are done with her ,can pas-s her to me?”Donald asked grinning
“ I am not promising you, I might want to keep her “. Mikel replied smiling
I looked at both of them and I kind of felt jealous

Nora POV
I waited for everyone to leave the clas-s before walking out
“Noami refused to talk to me and even left without even sparing me a glance
“ what did I do wrong”
“ I c@m£ to school feeling like a queen and I am leaving feeling like a who-re

I stepped out into the compound and was surprised to see Damon and his friends talking in front of Damon’s car
What are they still doing in school by this time”
I kept on walking towards the hvge gate trying ha-rd not to glance at Damon when one of his friends called me
“Pretty girl, come over here”. He commanded”
“ what?”. I asked looking back to be sure he was referring to me
“ i am talking to you”.he replied
I walked towards them trying not to look at Damon
“ you are looking beautiful”. he said as soon I as got to them
“ Thanks”. I replied
“ I am Mikel”. He said grinning
“ Nora”. I replied shyly
“ can we hang out this evening?”. He asked
“I em er m”. I stammered
“ plea-se baby”.he pleaded
“ No”. I replied and he laughed
“ why?”. he asked
“ she does not want you man and that is final”. Damon said out of sudden
We all looked at him in surprise
“ why are you still here by this time?”. he asked
“I just er we”.i stammered not knowing what to say
“Get into the car”. he commanded
really?”. I asked excitedly
“ do you want to sleep here?”. he asked back
I shook my head negatively
“ then get in the car”. he replied
I quic-kly sat down beside him as he drove off without even sparing a glance at his friends who just stood looking on in surprise….
“Thanks”.i said to him as he was driving me home
“ were you slee-ping in clas-s?”.he asked
“No”.I replied
“ then what were you doing?”. he asked
“ I em we er”. I stammered not knowing what to say
he looked at me and sm-irked
“ where exactly do you stay ?”. he asked
“ you can drop me here “. I told him
“ where exactly is your home?”. he asked again
“ you won’t be able to go there”. I told him
“ why?”. he asked
“ you won’t like it”.I replied
“ why won’t I?”. he asked
“ I live in the slums”. I replied
he looked at me and gave me a small smile
“ it doesn’t mean”
I watched him as he drove off, The rich heir to the Adams corporation brou-ght me home
“He dropped me in front of my tiny home , it is really ha-rd to believe”
I walked into my house and sat on the be-d
“ Damon what are you doing to me”. I said aloud as I felt my heart racing…………
Episode 11
Damon POV
I got home feeling a little bit stressed, I met my father eating in the dinning and chose to ignore him.
He has been moody ever since I told him he was the cause of mother death
I Climbe-d up the stairs heading to my room
“What is wrong with me”. I asked myself as I la-id on the be-d, ”
My phone suddenly rang indicating an incoming call, I checked the caller and scoffed
” why won’t this Tonia of a girl leave me alone, I thought I made it clear to her father that I was not interested”
She kept on calling and I had to switch off my phone .
My mind drifted to Nora, why do I have a soft sp©t for her?
She looked beautiful today but the cloth she wore was too revea-ling
” if only she was with me alone I could have………. dang it! I am really going crazy
I stood up from the be-d and went over to the table where I kept Bella picture, I picked it up and stared at it
” Bella, I think it is time I move on”. I said as I to-re the picture and to my surprise, I felt relieved……
I freshened up and headed downstairs. My dad was in the sitting room watching television so I went over to join him
” Dad”. I called
He looked at me with a gloomy expression
” what is wrong Dad?”. I asked
” I am just thinking of your mother”. he replied
” can we plea-se forget about that?”. I said
” son can you ever forgive me?”. he asked
” for what?”. I asked him
” for hurting you and your mother”. He replied
I looked at him and smiled
“I have long forgiven you”.i replied
He looked at me and signed in relief
” I never knew your mom love me, I thought she was not happy with the arranged marriage “. he said
I remained quiet as he continued
” she always had a smile on her face , I never knew she was hurting. I was a bad husband, I d@t£d lot of girls without even caring about her feeling…….
” do you regret marrying her?”. I asked him
” no, the only thing I regret is not showing her enough love”. he replied
“It is alright dad”. I said and he gave me a little smile
I stood up and was about to heading to my room when he called
I turned to look at him
” There is going to be a company p@rty”. He said
” why are you telling me ?”. I asked him
” you nee-d to be pres£nt”. he replied
” why”. I asked
” I will be handing everything about Adams corporate to you, I want to introduce you to some major share holders”. he explained
” I am not re-ady now dad, I am too young”. I said trying to confuse him
” you are 21 Damon, it is time to take responsibility”. he said
I looked at him and sighed
” when is the p@rty?”. I asked him
” Next week Saturday”. he replied
” I will think about it”. I said as I stood up

Noami PoV
I went home wondering what Is between Damon and Nora . I wonder how my sister will react when I tell her….
She made me go to Adams college so I could spy on Damon . I really don’t know the reason why she asked me to do that
I met her in sitting room when I got home , her eyes was glued to the television…..
” hi”.I gr-unted as I joined her
” hi”. she replied
” what is it?”. She asked studying my face
” it is Damon”. I blurted out
“What happened to him?”. She asked in alarm
“It seems he has eyes for another girl”. I told her
” it cannot happen, Damon belongs to me”. She said
I looked at her and scoffed
” how will you get him when he does not know you exist?”. I asked her
” Then I will just let him notice me”. She replied sm-irking
” whatever “. I said as I walked upstairs
” I wondered why she was so serious about Damon……..
Nora PoV
The next morning
I woke up early on a Saturday morning, I did the house chores and washed some clothes
” Zara would be coming home today, I really can’t wait…
I went to the bathroom to freshen up after I was done with the house chores…
I picked up the small one I recently bought and pla-yed a game on it.The phone suddenly rang , I was surprised when I saw the caller. It was Noami
” I thought she was angry with me”
“Helo baby”. She said as soon as I picked it up
“Noami”. I called in surprise, I thought you were mad at me
“How can I be mad at you?she replied
” oh, I was really worried”. I said
” I am sorry for the way I behaved then, I was just not happy that you lied to me”. She queried
” it is alright, i won’t do that again “. I promised
” I am your friend and you should treat me like one”. She said
” I am sorry”. I apologised again
” it is alright girlfriend, I love you”. She said
” I love you too”. I replied as the call ended
” ThankGod I have gotten my friend back”. I said smiling
I ran to hvg Zara as soon as she alighted from the taxi with mother
” I miss you Nora”. She said as she hvgged me ti-ght
” I miss you too sweetheart”. I replied
We all walked into the room and mum immediately went into the kitchen to start preparing lunch
“How is Adams college?”. Zara asked
” fine”. I replied grinning
” did you see the cold- hearted Damon Adams”. She asked
I looked at her and laughed
” he is not cold- hearted, he is very nice”. I said with dreamy eyes
” What is that look?”. She asked looking at me weirdly
” what look?”. I asked her
” wait a minute, don’t tell me you like him”. She said with an eye roll
” I don’t like him, I love him”. I said whispering
” what did you just say?”: she asked
” I said I am in love with Damon Adams……
“Oh my gawd Nora, you are crazy”.she sm-irked
