Stella’s P.O.V
After Daisy helped me packed, Jasper told me that he was going to pick me up. I moved most of my things to the living room as I got re-ady.

“I can’t believe you’re moving out,” Daisy sighed.

“Same. I promise I’ll come and visit,” I told her.

“Okay.”

“And maybe you and the girls can come visit me,” I told her.

“I like that idea,” Daisy said.

There was a knock at the door ma-king me walk over to open it. I saw Jasper there smiling as he saw me.

“Hey,” I said.

“Hi.”

“Come in,” I say, letting him in.

“Thanks. So, are you packed?” Jasper asked me.
“Yeah.”

“Hello, Daisy. plea-sure to see you again,” Jasper smiled.

“Hi, Jasper,” Daisy smiled.

“As a little thanks for agreeing for Stella to live with me, I paid a year’s rent for this ap@rtment,” Jasper told her.

“Really?” Daisy asked surprised.

“Yes,” Jasper smiled.

“Wow. Thanks,” Daisy said a little baffled.

“Shall we get your stuff into the car now?” Jasper asked me.

“Right. Daisy, can you help?” I asked her.

“Yeah.”
We loaded the things into a U-Haul truck which took a while. I gave Daisy a long hvg before getting into the truck with Jasper. I waved to Daisy as Jasper drove off.

“That was really sweet of you for paying the rent for Daisy,” I told him.

“I figured that she might nee-ded it. Besides, she is your best friend. I’d like to keep my new wife happy,” Jasper told me. I looked away and looked out the window.

We reached to a richer p@rt of California and I stared in shock as we went throu-gh some gates and to a large mansion.

“You live here?” I asked him.

“Of course.”

“But how can you live here all alone?” I asked.

“I use to have my family over a lot. Now, I won’t be alone. I have you,” Jasper told me.

“Smooth,” I tell him.

“I’m always smooth.”

We started to put my boxes into the house which was even more elegant as the exterior. I stared in amazement as I was processing this in.

“You like?” Jasper asked me.

“Yeah. It’s amazing,” I tell him.

“Okay, my family are expecting a family dinner on Friday so that should be enough time to help teach you some basics of etiquette behavior, a dress for the dinner, and to know some things about my family,” Jasper told me.

“I think I nee-d those etiquette clas-ses,” I told him.

“Trust me. If my parents found out that I was about to marry someone who is humble and down to Earth, they would love it,” Jasper said.

“Glad that you married me?” I asked.

“Very. You’ll be spending time with my as-sistant, Gwen. She’ll help you throu-gh everything for Friday’s dinner,” Jasper told me.

“Does she know?” I asked him.

“Of course. Gwen is a close friend of mine. She’ll keep this a secret,” Jasper said.
“I’m surprise you didn’t just marry her. Make it easier,” I joked.

“Me too. But she doesn’t swing that way,” Jasper said. I stared at him in confusion before realizing on what he meant.

“Well that’s good to know,” I said.

“It is. Now, shall I give you a tour?”

Stella’s P.O.V

I sat on the couch with Jasper, having a drink while we got to know each other some more.

“So, you got caught leaving the girl’s house?” I laughed a little.

“Well at the time, I thought I was pretty sneaky,” Jasper defended.

“Yeah real sneaky,” I joked.

“Like you haven’t done that before,” Jasper told me.

“I’ve never did. I was kind of a good girl back in high school,” I tell him before taking a sip of my drink.

“Good girl huh?” Jasper asked me.

“Maybe a little,” I blu-shed.

“You know we’re going to have another wedding right? One to prove that we’re very serious about this,” Jasper told me.

“Well, that’ll be nice. I’ve always wanted a big wedding,” I told him.

“Lucky for you, you’re getting remarried to a rich man,” Jasper said, raising his glas-s a little.

“Indeed I am,” I smiled.

“Tomorrow, you’re going to meet Gwen and she’s going to help for the rest of the week,” Jasper told me.

“Sounds like a plan,” I told him.

The next morning, I changed into something casual. I walked downstairs and saw Jasper in a suit. I stared at him for a bit before he looked over at me.

“You re-ady?”

“Yeah. Let’s go.”

We walked to the garage where there were many cars out there. I stared at them in shock before looking up at him.

“You nee-d this many cars?” I asked him.

“Yes. I have to look good for my events,” Jasper smiled.

“Guess, I’m going to have to get use to this,” I said.
“You are. Now, pick a car,” Jasper told me.

I walked over to a white Bentley and he got the keys to unlock it. I got inside and sat down on the pas-s£nger side. Jasper got into the driver’s side and we drove off. We made it to the city and I stared out the window.

“You’re like a tourist who’s never seen L.A. before,” Jasper told me.

“I just like being in big places,” I told him.

When we parked, Jasper opened my door for me which he didn’t nee-d to. I got out and we walked over to the building. As soon as we walked in, a woman in a business outfit walked over with a tablet.

“Okay, first off, you’re a little late but it’s okay. You have a meeting today at twelve, you nee-d to finish those paper work, and your mother is expecting a phone call from you,” She said.

“Thank you, Gwen,” Jasper smiled.

“And I’m guessing this is Stella?” Gwen asked him.

“Indeed. Take good care of her. I have to go now,” Jasper said before giving me a k!sson the cheek.

“Bye,” I said, a little baffled.

“Hi, I’m Gwen,” Gwen introduced herself.

“I’m Stella. Nice to meet you,” I smiled.

“You too. Now, let’s go. We have a busy day today,” Gwen told me.

We went to the parking lot again where we got into the backseat of a range rover. Gwen continued to type into the tablet as I looked outside the window.

“Where are we going?” I asked her.

“To your etiquette clas-s first. That’ll be only an hour each day and then we’re going to look around for a dress,” Gwen told me.

“An hour long?” I asked her.

“Yes. It’ll be okay though.”

We went to a small place where the clas-s was. We walked inside and an older lady was setting things up.

“Hi, Mrs. Humphrey. This is Stella and she is going to be here for the clas-ses,” Gwen told her.

“I can see. First off, some ti-ps,” Mrs. Humphrey said in a slight British accent. You could hear the accent but it sounded pretty faint.

“Stand up straight, and keep your chin up a little higher,” Mrs. Humphrey said. I did so ma-king her smile a little.

“Good, now today’s lesson will be how to act properly around others.

After the etiquette clas-s, Gwen and I went to another p@rt of L.A. We went to an expensive looking dress shop and we went inside.

“Gwen, lovely to see you,” A woman said walking over to us.

“Hey, Valarie. We nee-d a dress for Stella here for Friday,” Gwen told her.

“I see. Come on, let’s get you measured,” Valarie told me. She put me on a small platform before measuring me.

“Hourglas-s figure, good,” Valarie said.

Gwen’s phone rung ma-king her get up and walk over to the other side. I looked around at all of the dresses as Gwen talked on the phone.

“So, are you attending an event with Jasper?” Valarie asked me.

“I’m actually meeting his family on Friday,” I told her.

“Oh then I nee-d to make this as elegant as possible,” Valarie said.

“Have you met them?” I asked her.

“No, but Jasper’s twin sisters have been in here before and had specific instructions from her mother about the dress she nee-ded. It was very detailed,” Valarie told me.

“Jasper said he will meet us up for lunch,” Gwen told me. “I have her measurements so I will start a design right now. You’re free to go. I’ll see you both again tomorrow,” Valarie said. I got down and smiled softly.

“Nice to meet you, Valarie,” I told her.

“Nice to meet you too, Stella,” Valarie smiled.

We went to the car again but my phone started to ring. I looked at it to see my mom calling me. I sighed and answered it.

“Hello?” I asked.

“Hi, Stella. How are you?” She asked.

“Good,” I said with no emotion.

“Happy belated birthday,” She said trying to be happy. “Mom, I have to go,” I told her.

“Oh okay. Well, when are you visiting us?” She asked me.

“I don’t know,” I told her.

“Come visit soon,” She said.

“Kay,” I said, rolling my eyes.

“Bye, Stella. I love you.”

“Love you too,” I said quic-kly before hanging up.

“You don’t seem happy with your mom,” Gwen told me.

“I have a rou-gh patch with my family right now,” I told her. “Does Jasper know?” Gwen asked.

“I’ll tell him soon. It’s just a t©uçhy t©pic,” I told her.

“I un-derstand. My parents aren’t too happy with me either,” Gwen told me.

“Why?” I asked her.

“I c@m£ out of the closet,” She said.

“Oh.”

“I told them after I got the job and moved out,” Gwen told me.

“That was smart,” I told her.

“It was.”

When we arrived at the restaurant, we went inside and Jasper was waiting for us. We went over to him which got his attention.

“Hey guys,” He said standing up. Jasper gave us a k!sson the cheek before we sat down in the booth. I sat on one side with Jasper while Gwen sat on the other side.

“How was today?” He asked me.

“Interesting,” I told him.

“Good. You think she’ll be re-ady for Friday?” Jasper asked Gwen.

“I think so.”

After we ate, we were about to leave but there were paparazzi everywhere. I got close to Jasper who wra-pped an arm around me.

“Scared?” He asked me.
“I don’t do well with crowded people,” I told him.

“You’re going to be alright. Just stay close to me,” Jasper said. I nodded and he held my hand.

We started to walk out as the paparazzi took ph0tos of us. They were practically shoving it into my face.

“Jasper! Who’s this?”

“Is she your girlfriend?”

“Are you two together?”

We got inside the car letting me breath again. Jasper got inside the car and put his arm around me.

“Just breathe. They’re gone now,” He said, calming me down.

“How can you handle that?” I asked.

“You try to get use to it,” He told me. I nodded and continued to catch my breath.

Stella’s P.O.V

Tonight was the night that I get to meet Jasper’s family. Gwen helped me with a run down which was easy to remember. The dinner was going to be held in a restaurant somewhere in L.A.

Jasper had hired a makeup artist and hair stylist for me. Even though it felt too much, I knew I nee-ded to make a good impression.

“Nervous?” Gwen asked me.

“Yes. Are they very judgmental?” I asked her.
“In a way. Have you ever been in jail before?” Gwen asked me.

“No.”

“Have you done drugs or smoke?”

“No.”

“You’re fine. You have a clean record so they won’t suspect a thing,” She said.

“Okay,” I nodded.

“Now, tell me, who’s in the family?” She tested.

“It’s his parents, his young brother,, and his twin sisters,” I told Gwen.

“Good. You’re set to go,” Gwen smiled.

“Thanks, Gwen,” I smiled.

“You’re welcome. Oh, I would put the ring away,” Gwen told me.

I looked at the small yet beautiful ring. I nodded and took it off. I put it by my be-d stand before following her out the door. We walked downstairs to meet with Jasper who was on the phone.

“plea-se be on a good behavior. I really like this girl and I want to propose to her tonight,” I heard Jasper say. I as-sumed he was faking it for his family. He turned around and froze a little. I smiled shyly as he stared.

“I have to go,” Jasper said before hanging up the phone.

“She looks good huh?” Gwen asked.

“Yeah. Um, we should get going. They said that they were on their way over to the restaurant,” Jasper said, not taking his eyes off of me. I blu-shed a little.

“Have fun,” Gwen sm-irked.

We all walked out of the mansion to go. Gwen left to go home while Jasper opened the door for me.

“And I thought chivalry was dead,” I joked. I got inside and he closed he door. He got to the driver’s side and he left.

When we got to the restaurant parking lot, we got out of the car and started to walk over. Jasper held an arm around my w@!st as we walked inside.

“Don’t be nervous on meeting them. They’ll love you,” Jasper told me. I looked up at him and nodded.

When we went to a reserved room, I saw his family there sitting and talking.

“Jasper!” I heard.

“There he is!”

I stood there a little awkwardly as they greeted him. Jasper c@m£ back to me and wra-pped his arm around my w@!st.

“Everyone, this is my girlfriend, Stella. Stella, this is my family,” Jasper introduced.

“Hello, Stella, I’m Jasper’s sister, Carolina,” One of his sisters said.

“And I’m Carolina’s twin, Candace,” The girl who looked identical to her said.

“Nice to meet you both,” I smiled.

“Hi. I’m Jasper’s brother, Thomas,” Jasper’s younger brother smiled.

“Nice to meet you,” I said.

“Mom, Dad. This is the woman I told you about. Stella these are my parents,” Jasper introduced.
“Hello. It’s so wonderful to meet you both,” I said.

“Hello, Stella. I’m Jasper’s mother, Cheryl.”

“Stella. plea-sure to meet you. I’m Jasper’s father, Harold.”

“Shall we order dinner?” Jasper asked them. We walked to the table and Jasper pu-ll-ed out a seat or me. I sat down and he scooted me in.

“Hi, I am Charlie, your waiter for today. What can I get you guys?” The waiter asked after he c@m£ in.

“Can we all get waters plea-se. Hi kwaku ome on+233544142683 to be added to story headquarters room for more stories. Also, can we start with some appetizers,” Cheryl started.

“Stella, you have really pretty hair,” Candace told me.

“Thank you. You have pretty eyes,” I complimented her.

“Stella, tell us about yourself,” Cheryl said.

“Well, I just recently turned twenty one about two weeks ago,” I told them.

“Oh really? How did you both celebr@te?” Cheryl asked Jasper and I.

“To be frank, mom, I took her to Veg@s,” Jasper told her.

“Veg@s? I’m guessing you drank?” Harold asked us.

“Dad she’s twenty one now. Gotta let her have her first drink,” Jasper told him.

“I suppose you’re right.”
“How come you never mention her to us?” Carolina asked Jasper.

“Well, you guys were probably expecting some model or actress. I didn’t want to put Stella in any pressure,” Jasper told them.

“I get it,” Carolina nodded.

After dinner, I was relieved to not make a fool of myself. I felt Jasper hold my hand ma-king my heart skip a beat for a moment. I felt a little confused for a bit.

“Everyone, I actually have an announcement to make,” Jasper said, before getting out of his seat. He had let go of my hand to straighten his jacket a bit.

“I know that I’ve been keeping Stella here a secret. We’ve been together for quite sometime and throu-ghout that time, I’ve been thinking to myself. I would love to spend the rest of my life with her,” Jasper said. Jasper lead me out of my seat and we backed a little to the side.

“Stella, I love you ever since I’ve la-id eyes on you,” Jasper told me.

“Jasper,” I said in awe. I felt like I should pl@yalong. Jasper took out a small box before getting down on one knee.

“Will you do the honors of becoming my wife?” He asked. Jasper opened the box which revealed a bigger and more expensive ring than the one he gave me.

“Yes,” I nodded. He smiled and slide the ring in. He stood up as I hvgged him. Jasper leaned down and gave me a k!ss. I felt a little in shock. Jasper pu-ll-ed away with a smile.

“Guys, it would be great if you didn’t post this on social media. We want this to be pri-vate as much as possible,” Jasper told them.

“Of course. Kids, put them away,” Cheryl told them. The twins as well as Thomas put their phones away before the girls squealed in excitement.

“Welcome to the family, Stella,” Cheryl smiled at me.

“Thank you,” I said.

“Congratulations to the new soon-to-be-married couple,” Harold smiled. I looked up at Jasper who had a smile on his face.
