Stella’s P.O.V
“How much longer are you staying in Veg@s?” Jasper asks me. As of right now, I was sitting with him as my friends were souvenir shopping. They said they just wanted something funny.
“Till tomorrow,” I told him.
“Can you stay longer?” Jasper asked me.
“No. I only packed clothes for two days,” I told him.
“Stay longer. I’ll have you go shopping today and we can talk about our agreement,” Jasper told me.
“I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure my friends will be worried about me,” I told him.
“I’ll make sure you get home safely,” Jasper told me.
“Let me talk to them and I’ll talk to you,” I told him.
“Alright. You have my number and I have yours,” Jasper told me. I nodded as my friends c@m£ back.
“Stella, Jasper, are you guys re-ady to go?” Sonya asked.
“Yeah. We’re re-ady,” I nodded.
“I kinda want to go gambling. We should do that,” Sonya said.
“Why don’t you guys come to my h0tel? You girls can gamble there and I’ll have a car for you to go back to your h0tel in,” Jasper said.
“That would be fun. Thank you, Jasper,” I said.
“I’m liking your husband right now, Stella,” Mallory told me.
“Well back off, he’s mine,” I joked. Jasper chuckled at me, causing my attention to go to him.
By the time we made it to his h0tel, the girls went to some of the machines while I sat in the table having a drink.
“You don’t gamble?” Jasper asked, sitting next to me.
“No.”
“How come?”
“I prefer to drink,” I told him.
“Drinking the memories away?” Jasper questioned.
“Yup,” I told him.
“rou-gh backstory?”
“You can say that,” I shrugged.
“You want to share with your husband?” Jasper smiled. I looked over at him before smiling.
“Maybe some other time,” I told him.
“Okay.”
After the girls had gambled, we went back to the h0tel where I nee-ded to tell them the news. I leaned against the wall as they sat down.
“Jasper wants me to stay for a little bit longer,” I told them.
“Why?” Sarah asked.
“To talk about this marriage thing,” I answered.
“I thought you were okay with this,” Mallory told me.
“I am. I just want to l@ysome ground rules. I mean, this was a drun!ken mistake,” I told them.
“So you’re not going home with us?” Daisy asked.
“No. I’ll be fine here. I promise,” I told them.
“If you’re going to stay here, at least contact us every once in a while so we know you’re alive,” Sarah said.
“This doesn’t feel safe,” Daisy told me.
“It’s probably only for a day,” I told her.
“Promise me that you’ll come home with no bruises or hic-keys,” Daisy told me.
“Daisy!” I said in shock.
“Promise me,” Daisy repeated.
“I promise,” I said, raising my hand up.
“Thank you.”

Stella’s P.O.V
After the girls left, I was in Jasper’s h0tel. I sat in front of him as we were talking about this arrangement. His lawyer was with us so we had this agreement in full contact.
“You can go ahead and re-ad throu-gh it if you want. I can have things changed if you don’t like any of the things on it. With my approval of course,” Jasper told me. I looked up at him before he moved the papers towards me.
With this contract, Ms. Stella Kline nee Matthews has agreed to the following terms.
~Not to tell the public about this agreement
~Not to re-lease any pri-vate information of Mr. Jasper Kline
~Not to be sp©tted with another man alone
~Be there at any public event with Mr. Jasper Kline
~Attend social events without Mr. Jasper Kline if he is called for an emergency meeting
I re-ad throu-gh the papers to know what I was getting myself into.
“Any concerns?” Jasper’s lawyer asked me.
“You mentioned that you would actually pay me to do this. How much will I get?” I asked.
“That would be page four,” I turned to the page before staring at the paper with wi-de eyes. One million dollars a year as long as I was married to Jasper.
“That much?” I asked confused.
“Yes.”
I thought about this for a moment before nodding. I went to the signature page and looked at them.
“I will agree to do this,” I told him.
“Really? If you do, you’re giving up your pri-vate life,” Jasper told me.
“I think I’ll be fine,” I told him. I signed my name and gave the papers back.
“Now, I had set up a ride home for you and I’ll call you on moving in with me,” Jasper told me.
“Alright.”
“You said you live in California right?”
“Yeah.”
“Perfect. I live there as well but I’m moving to New York soon,” Jasper told me.
“Why?” I asked.
“My company there nee-ds me and as the CEO, I will go and check it out,” Jasper told me.
“What about this whole marriage thing?” I asked him. “The plans are, you and I will announce it at a family dinner my parents are having, then we will get married, and then move to New York. I just nee-d to convince them that I do not nee-d some arrange marriage,” Jasper said.
“I have one more question for you,” I told him.
“Shoot.”
“Do you remember what happened that night?” I asked him.
“About the night we got married?” Jasper asked me. I nodded at him.
“Well, I remember going with an old friend of mine and getting wasted,” Jasper told me.
“Same here. I just wanted to know if you remembered anything,” I told Jasper.
“I see.”
“So how long do you plan on staying in Veg@s?” I asked.
“Another day. I’m having arrangements for you to get home safely,” Jasper told me.
“Thanks,” I said.
“I’ll see you when I get home?” Jasper asked me.
“Yeah. I’ll see you then.”
Stella’s P.O.V
Once I made it back to my ap@rtment, Daisy wasn’t home. I figured she was at work or grocery shopping. I unpacked my things before lying on my be-d.
After turning on my TV and just catching up on some things, my phone rung. I saw it was Jasper ma-king me pick up a little quic-kly.
“Hello?”
“Hey, Stella. Did you get home safe?” Jasper asked.
“Yeah.”
“Good. You should start packing,” Jasper said.
“Right. When are you coming here?” I asked him.
“Tomorrow. That should be enough time for a lot of your things to be re-ady,” Jasper told me.
“It is,” I told him.
“Great. I’ll see you tomorrow then,” Jasper told me.
“Okay. Bye,” I said before hanging up.
I cleaned up the ap@rtment before Daisy c@m£ home. Once she c@m£ back I engulfed her into a hvg.
“Hey, how was it?” Daisy asked me.
“Fine. Although, I nee-d to tell you something,” I told her as I pu-ll-ed away. I walked over to the couch and sat down.
“What’s wrong?” Daisy asked me.
“Jasper wants me to move in with him,” I told her. Daisy stared at me in confusion.
“What?”
“Jasper wants me to move in with him,” I repeated.
“What did you say?” Daisy asked.
“I said I would move in with him,” I told her.
“I’m kinda worried about you now,” Daisy told me. “Why say that?” I asked her.
“You seem off edge ever since you married to that guy. I kinda don’t trust him,” Daisy told me.
“He’s on the news all the time for his business,” I told her.
“I know that but the fact that you’re moving out with someone you ba-rely know, it doesn’t seem right,” She said.
“He said he wants to know me,” I told her.
“But still. I feel like you’re moving too quic-k,” Daisy said.
“I know but in my defense, we did get married in Veg@s,” I told her.
“You’re right,” Daisy sighed.
“Look, I promise to keep you and the girls upd@t£d,” I told her.
“Promise?”
“Promise.”
“When are you leaving me?” Daisy asked.
“Tomorrow.”
“That soon?”
“Yeah.”
“I hope he isn’t abusive or anything,” Daisy said.
“Me too,” I agreed.
“Do you want to binge watch Supernatural?” She asked me.
“Yeah. I’ll order pizza,” I told her.
“Great. I’ll get the drinks and Netflix re-ady.”
