Clara stood there listening to Pierce and the woman’s discussion. She’s still in de-ep shock.
” Sierra has a child? I’m a hu-ge fan of her and I don’t know?” She asked herself.
” You look more beautiful now Miss, I should get going now, my regards to your little daughter”
” Yes, ma’am” Pierce muttered slowly and left there immediately.
Clara came out of her hiding sp-ot and walked to the woman with a smile on her face.
” Hello” she greeted and the woman who’s about walking away faced her.
” Do I know you?” The woman asked
” Not at all. I just nee-d a help from you” Clara said and the woman listened attentively.
” I heard your conversation with that young lady that left just now. You mentioned something like a daughter,, does the lady has a daughter?” Clara asked.
” I’m sorry but I can’t answer you that” the woman muttered and walked away.
Clara scoffed and went after the woman.
” I just nee-d to know something and I also nee-d your help…” She moved closer to the woman and whispered something into her ear.
The woman looked at her with her mouth agape and Clara smiled.

WEST’S HOUSE***
Mrs. West watched as her husband pressed his phone with a serious face.
” What are you doing on your phone that’s making you so serious?” She asked.
” There’s an investment I’m being introduced to and it worth millions of dollars” he replied.
” An investment? What is it all about?” She asked.
” I don’t know much about it but it will help in growing up our company. I just have to deposit 50 million dollars for a start and I’ll be receiving 800 million dollars at the end. Isn’t that great?” He asked smiling.
Mrs. West chuckles amazingly.
” Really? 50 million dollars???” Mrs. West asked.
” Yes”
” George, when will your greediness for money stop? First, you almost destroyed your daughter’s life all because of money and now she has to live in secret and that’s all because of you! Now, you want to invest in one so called business you’re not yet sure of? Not just any money but 50 million dollars!! Are you in your right senses at all?” Mrs. West said trying not to yell at him.
” All this I’m doing is for all of you. We’re talking about 800 million dollars here, it’s no small money, dear. And about Pierce, I did everything for her own good and the secret you just mentioned, it’s just about Gold and nothing else” he replied nonchalantly.
” Just about Gold? It’s not just about the girl! You changed her name! You changed everything about her even when I told you not to, have you ever try to think about her feelings? Her daughter is being kept away from the world,,,” she stopped and tapped her forehead in frustration.
” Arguing with you is just pointless. If you like, do the investment and pay 50 million dollars, it’s your life and your money. Don’t say I did not warn you when you regret it at the end” she went out of the room.
” Is telling her about the investment now a bad thing?” Mr. West shrugged and continue pressing his phone.
He’s doing that investment and nothing is stopping him from getting what he wants.
Mrs. West sat on the couch in the living room and switched on the television. Her eyes was glued to the TV but her mind was faraway from it.
She remembered when they travelled to Paris, her husband threatened Pierce to change her name and to hid Gold from the world or else he’s going to take her to an orphanage. He did all that so Mr. Gonzalez and his son won’t find out. It wasn’t a good decision for Pierce then but she had to do it because she’s got no choice then.
Everything that’s happening to Pierce now is all his fault.
” I hope he doesn’t regret this his decision at the end” she muttered to herself.

BECKETT’S HOUSE***
” Mom, aren’t you going to eat anything? It’s lunch time” Elena said to Mrs. Beckett.
” I’m not hungry” Mrs. Beckett mumbled lowly that Elena ha-rdly heard her.
” That’s what you said last night, even this morning too. Mom, stop doing this to yourself and eat your food. Louis is not mad at you, he’s just angry at the whole thing, I’m sure he’s going to come around” Elena muttered.
” I just did everything for him back then, I did it so he wouldn’t end up hurting himself. I….” She burst into tears.
What she hates in the world is her son being mad at her.
Elena sighs.
” Mom, if you keep doing this, then you wouldn’t have the strength to see your grandchild. I’m talking about Pierce’s child, at least you should be strong for both of them” Elena said.
Mrs. Beckett smiled. Right now, she couldn’t wait to see Pierce and her grandchild.
Slowly, she collected the spoon from Elena and starts eating slowly.
Elena smiled as she watched her. She’s so glad now that she’s eating.
” Do you think Louis broke up with Clara because he found Pierce?” Mrs. Beckett suddenly asked.
Elena shrugged.
” I don’t know. I never really liked that girl in the first place. She’s too clingy, always around Louis. I don’t like her, I prefer Pierce to her” Elena muttered.
” She’s a good girl though” Mrs. Beckett mumbled.
Elena ignored that statement and start eating her own food.
” I’ll pick Vee at school and then use that as an opportunity to see my niece. She’s so cute” Elena smiled.
” I really can’t wait to see her” Mrs. Beckett said.
” Right mom, have you told Louis what Dad said three nights ago?”
Mrs. Beckett sighs.
” I haven’t, I don’t even know how to tell him. It’s not easy for one to give up on his career and manage a company. Louis has pas-sion for acting, it’s not going to be easy to persuade him” Mrs. Beckett said.
” But still, he nee-ds to be there for Dad. He’s the heir to the company,,,”
” Okay, I’ll try talking to him” Mrs. Beckett said.
Elena nods her head in agreement and they both continue eating.

Pierce came out of Cellitrion Entertainment with Ashley beside her. They both entered the car.
” Shooting a movie has become stressful lately” Pierce muttered.
” I know, right? Your schedule is so ti-ght” Ashley mumbled.
” When is your movie with Louis ending?” Ashley asked.
” I have no idea. The movie is the best movie I’ve ever acted” Pierce smiled.
” Really?” Ashley raised a brow at her.
” Yea. Am I still busy today?” Pierce asked.
” No, you’re free for today” Ashley replied and Pierce breathe out in relief.
” Thank Goodness” she mumbled. She couldn’t wait to see her baby.
” Where are you going to now?” Ashley asked, starting the car.
” My house” Pierce mumbled, closing her eyes.
” Alright” she drove away.

GONZALEZ GROUP OF COMPANIES***
” Why is there so much work today?” Arthur complained, typing on the laptop very fast.
He glanced over at Charlotte and suddenly stopped what he was doing. She’s sleeping, with her head swaying sideways.
He smiled and stood up from the chair.
” I told her to have a rest” he mumbled and walked to her seat.
He raised his hand to tap her so she could sleep well but suddenly withdrew his hand. He put his hand in his pocket, admiring her face gently.
His eyes moved to her eyebrows, then to her nose. He’s busying studying her features before his eyes landed on her li-ps. He swallowed nothing ha-rd and looked away.
Charlotte swayed and almost fell from the chair, that woke her up and she suddenly stood up.
” Boss, I’m sorry. I suddenly slept off, I was just a little bit tired. It won’t happen again” she muttered, bi-ting her lower li-ps nervously
” It’s fine, you should rest a bit” Arthur said.
” I….” Her eyes suddenly went wide when she remembered she’s supposed to pick Gold from school.
” Time,,, what’s the time??” She asked.
” This is 5pm, why?”
” 5pm???” She screamed.
” My goodness, I’m supposed to pick Gold from school. Oh no, she would have been expecting me now. I’m such a sleepyhead” she quickly looked around and carried her bag.
” Charlotte, you should have controlled yourself. Boss, I’m so sorry, I nee-d to pick Pierce’s daughter from her school like I explained to you earlier” she continues talking and Arthur stare at her amazingly.
Doesn’t she gets tired of talking?
” I’ll be back soon, Boss!” She yells and went out of the office in a rush.
Arthur chuckled and went to continue his work. The office suddenly felt empty to him.
” Am I getting used to her already?” He asked himself.

Charlotte came down from the cab and payed the driver before rushing into the school.
She met Gold playing with Vee, few students are the only one left in the school.
” I’m not that late” she muttered, breathing heavily.
” Gold!” She called
” Aunt Charlotte!” Gold rushed to her.
” I’m late, aren’t I?” Charlotte asked.
” A little” Gold replied. Vee went to them.
” Your mom isn’t here?” Charlotte asked.
Elena came at that time.
” Mom” Vee rushed to her.
” Baby, I’m sorry for coming late. I was talking to your Dad” Elena said to Vee
” It’s fine, Mom. How’s Dad?” Vee asked
” He’s fine, he said he missed you a lot”
” I miss him too. When will he be back?” Vee asked.
” He’ll be back soon” Elena replied and stared at Charlotte.
” You must be her aunt” she said referring to Gold.
” Yes, I’m her mom’s best friend” Charlotte said.
” Oh” Elena walked closer to Gold.
” You look so much like your Dad” she mumbled.
” My Dad? Do you know where he is?” Gold asked curiously.
” Yes, you’ll meet him soon” Elena answered.
” I can’t wait to see him, I missed him so much” Gold said happily.
Elena smiled. She haven’t met Louis before and she miss him?
” Are you Louis’s sister?” Charlotte asked and Elena nods in reply.
” Wow, it’s so nice but I nee-d to get going now. I’m sorry about that” Charlotte said.
” No, no, it’s fine. I’ll leave now too” Elena said.
Gold and Vee waved at each other before they left the school.
” Mom, do you know Gold’s Dad?” Vee asked on their way home.
” Yes and he’s someone you know too. You’ll get to know the truth soon” Elena said.

PIERCE’S APARTMENT***
Pierce stood up from the chair immediately the door opened. She’s been expecting them since.
” Momma!” Gold screamed and rushed to hu-g her.
” Princess, Momma missed you a lot” Pierce pouts.
” Gold miss you too. You did not come back last night, I’m angry” Gold said.
Charlotte laughed as she watched them. Their mother and daughter bond is something else.
” I’m sorry, Princess. nee-d to take care of something” Pierce muttered.
She faced Charlotte.
” How’s work with Arthur?” She asked.
” It’s fine. He’s cool actually” Charlotte said.
” Yes, he is. Are you leaving now?”
” Yes, there’s a lot of work to do at the company. See you later, Bes” she went out the house.
Pierce broke the hu-g and arranged Gold’s hair.
” How was school today?” She asked.
” It was great. Vee and I played a lot and her mom knows my Dad” she suddenly blurted out.
” Your dad? Who’s her mom?” Pierce asked.
” I don’t know but she said I’ll see my Dad soon, is that true?”
” Yes. You know what Princess, you should change your clothes, we’re meeting someone today”
” Who?” Gold asked seriously.
” Your angel” Gold jumped up in excitement.
Pierce laughed as she watched her. If only she knew the angel she’s so eager to meet is actually her Dad.
After Pierce dressed Gold up, they both left the house to Louis’s house. Pierce used a mask and a shade this time around. She couldn’t risk someone recognizing her again.
They got to Louis’s house and Gold quickly came out of the car.
” Easy, Princess” Pierce chuckled, getting down from the car.
She held Gold’s hand and they both went to the door. They knocked and Louis opened the door immediately.
His eyes fell on Gold and the joy he felt at that moment was indescribable.
” Whoa! It’s my Angel!” Gold screams and hu-g his legs.
Louis smiled out tears and bent to her level.
” My daughter,, my Gold” he whispered. He still couldn’t believe he has a daughter.
” It’s your Daddy, I’m your Daddy” Louis said.
Gold stare at him in surprise before looking at Pierce. Pierce nods her head in agreement.
” My Daddy? You’re my Daddy?” She asked again.
” Yes, Princess. I’m sorry you had to know me this way, I’m…” Gold hu-gged him immediately.
” Daddy, I miss you. I’m so glad you’re my Daddy, I’ll have to tell all my clas-smates. You’ll tell me and Momma stories at night. You’ll take us to buy ice cream, you’ll buy teddy bears for me” Gold said happily with tears in her eyes.
” I’ll do all that for you, princess, even more than that” Louis muttered.
” I love you, Daddy”
” I love you more, Princess”
Louis held her ti-ghtly, hearing those words from her soothes his heart a lot.
Pierce smiled happily as she watched them. What more could she ask for than seeing her family happy together?

Vera checked the time on her wristwatch with a frown on her face. She’s expecting Rhett and he isn’t here yet.
” Isn’t he coming today?” She asked herself.
” Vera, someone is asking of you outside” her colleague said to her and her face brighten up immediately.
” Rhett!” Her mind screamed happily.
” Thanks, Muna” she quickly rushed outside.
Her face went sour when she saw the person asking of her.
” Emma?” She suddenly shivered with fear.
Olivia and Elle appeared with a devilish sm-irk on their face.
” Surprised?” Elle chuckled.
Vera gulped down nothing in fear. Her head is about bursting out of fear right now.
If Emma and her friends should come to her working place, then that means,,, DANGER!!!
